De Grey Mining, which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in July 2002 has three outstanding greenfields exploration projects in play in Western Australia:
*
The Turner River Gold Project in the 100% owned Turner River Province on Indee Station 60 kms south of Port Hedland. The Turner River Gold Project comprises the Wingina Well gold deposit (preliminary resource estimate 203,000 ozs of gold), the Mt Berghaus, Turner and Brierly gold prospects and eight other satellite gold exploration targets.
*
The Three Kings Platinum project, also in the 100% owned Turner River Province, where exploration funded by De Grey`s joint venture partner, Implats of South Africa, has recently intercepted an outstanding wide zone of platinum. Follow up drilling is being planned. PGE mineralisation extends over a strike length of 5.5 kms. Implats is earning a 43% interest in the platinum project.
*
The Beyondie Bluff base and precious metals project in the Little Sandy Desert 35 kms east of Kumarina where De Grey`s initial drilling programme of 4,000 metres has found indications of zinc, nickel, molybdenum, gold and copper over a six km strike length. De Grey has 100% ownership of the 2,600 square kms of tenements at Beyondie Bluff.
*
De Grey has a $6 million budget for intensive exploration in 2005. The priority focus is to explore and develop resources to progress into a feasibility study at the Turner River Gold Project.
*
In July 2004 De Grey was named the Gold Explorer of the Year, an annual award by Louthean Publishing`s Gold Mining Journal. This award is determined by a survey of Australian stockbrokers.
*
In December 2004 De Grey Managing Director, Denis O`Meara, and Consulting Geologist, Geoffrey Blackburn, were jointly named as Prospector of the Year, by the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies. This award is determined by a panel of judges including earth scientists all drawn from the mineral exploration industry.
