AUROGIN RECEIVES FINAL OPERATING PERMIT FOR EL SASTRE GOLD PROJECT

TORONTO, ON, July 27, 2006 - Aurogin Resources Ltd. ("Aurogin" or “the Company”) (TSX-V:AUQ)(OTO:AROG) is pleased to announce that it has received the final operating permit (“License of Exploitation”) required to begin production at its El Sastre Main Zone Gold Project in Guatemala.

Under Guatemalan Mining Law, the Ministry of Energy and Mines has granted to Rocas El Tambor, Aurogin’s Guatemalan subsidiary, a License of Exploitation valid for a period of 25 years (and extendable at the request of Rocas El Tambor for a further 25 years). As part of the Guatemalan mine permitting process, Aurogin submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in May 2005 and received the Resolution of the Guatemalan Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources approving this EIA in August 2005 (see Aurogin press release of August 23, 2005). Granting of the License of Exploitation is the final step in the Guatemalan mine permitting process.

The El Sastre Main Zone is one of four mineralized gold zones on Aurogin’s El Sastre Project located 37 kilometres northeast of Guatemala City. Gold resources at the El Sastre Main Zone currently stand at 49,251 ounces of indicated resource (370,000 tonnes at 4.14 grams of gold per tonne [g/t Au], and 117,265 ounces of inferred resource (1,165,000 tonnes at 3.13 g/t Au). In addition, Aurogin has defined 518,000 ounces of inferred resource (13,000,000 tonnes at 1.25 g/t Au) at its Lupita Zone, located 600 metres west of the El Sastre Main Zone.

Construction of the Company’s heap-leach pad at the El Sastre Main Zone (see Aurogin Press Release of July 10, 2006) is progressing, with approximately two-thirds of the project completed to date. The Company is currently projecting construction to be completed by the end of the third quarter of calendar 2006 with a first gold pour slated for the fourth quarter of calendar 2006. The operation has been designed to produce gold at a rate of 20,000 oz/yr.

Coincident with its production plans, the Company has commenced development diamond drilling on the El Sastre Main Zone. Subsequently, the drill will be moved to the El Arenal Zone with the objective of outlining a 43-101 compliant mineral resource. El Arenal is located 2 kilometres SE of the El Sastre Main Zone and 2.6 km SE of the Lupita Zone. Gold found at El Arenal is oxidized, fine-grained and similar, metallurgically, to the El Sastre Main Zone. Metallurgical testing (bottle rolls) by SGS Lakefield Research Ltd. on a composite sample from the El Arenal Zone demonstrated gold recoveries in excess of 98% after 14 days and column testing of El Sastre material gave a recovery of 97% in 15 days (see Aurogin Press release of October 18, 2004). The El Arenal Zone lies within the territorial limits of the License of Exploitation

EL SASTRE CONSTRUCTION

Construction of the Company¡¦s heap-leach pad at its El Sastre Main Zone (see May 15, 2006 press release) is progressing, with approximately two-thirds of the project completed to date:

• Access and haulage road construction is complete;
• Liner installation in pregnant and barren ponds is complete;
• Earthworks required for pad area is substantially complete, with pad liner installation scheduled for the end of July 2006;
• Earthworks required for the plant foundation is complete;
• Construction of plant foundation has commenced;
• All key capital items have been procured.

The Company is currently projecting construction to be completed by the end of the third quarter of calendar 2006 with a first gold pour slated for the fourth quarter of calendar 2006. The operation has been designed to produce gold at a rate of 20,000 oz/yr.

EXPLORATION

Exploration drilling at the Bridge Zone in Guatemala is approximately 75% complete, after three additional holes were added to the original five-hole program. Although drilling to date has encountered significant anomalous gold values, the Company has yet to identify mineralization it believes is of economic significance. The Company will provide an update once it has received the results from the full program. Neil Gow is the Qualified Person for the Project.

The Company has sourced additional drill support and expects to commence a program at the El Arenal Zone with the objective of outlining a 43-101 compliant mineral resource. El Arenal is located 2 kilometres SE of the El Sastre Main Zone and 2.6 km SE of the Company¡¦s Lupita Zone. Gold found at El Arenal is oxidized, fine-grained and similar, metallurgically, to the El Sastre Main Zone. Metallurgical testing by SGS Lakefield Research Ltd. on a composite sample from El Arenal Zone demonstrated gold recoveries in excess of 98% after 14 days.

Aurogin has completed additional CSAMT surveying as well as mapping and surface geochemical sampling at its Lone Mountain Project in Nevada. In addition, two proprietary data sets (gravity and airborne magnetics) covering the Project have been purchased. This new information, in conjunction with the results from the CSAMT survey completed by Zonge Geosciences, Inc. of Sparks, Nevada (see March 1, 2006 press release), are being compiled and analyzed and several potential drill targets have been identified. Permitting for an exploration drilling program to test the targets will commence shortly.
Für Investoren die gerne mit Zahlen Spielen möchte ich auch gleichzeitig noch die geschätzen Operating Costs für EL Sastre aufführen.

Mining Cost 5,61 US$/tonne
Processing Cost 2,73 US$/tonne
General & Admin 1,74 US$/tonne
Total US$/tonne 10,08 US$/tonne

Zusammengerechnet sind das 177 US$ per ounce. Die Förderkosten sind somit extrem gering und die Innenfinanzierug des Unternehmens gesichert.

Aurogin wird auch in Stockhouse forum heiss diskutiert seit Monaten.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 5, 2006) - Aurogin Resources Ltd. ("Aurogin" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:AUQ - News; OTO:AROG) is pleased to announce that it has encountered significant gold mineralization in the four most recent holes drilled at the Bridge Zone in Guatemala. The holes were drilled in a zone measuring 600 m in length and up to 300 m wide before dipping under ash cover.
ADVERTISEMENT

Aurogin holds three contiguous concessions located 37km northeast of Guatemala City, with the Bridge concession being the westernmost. The Bridge Zone is currently the main target of interest on the Bridge concession. The Company can earn a 70% interest in the project by completing a feasibility study and arranging production financing (see press release 2005-12 dated Sept. 21, 2005). The Bridge Zone is located four kilometers west of Aurogin's El Sastre Main Zone, where construction of the Company's first gold mine is nearing completion.

Assay results have been received on 10 holes to date (the results of the first six holes were released in News Release 2006-16 dated July 10th, 2006). The mineralization, which starts virtually at surface, occurs in altered volcanic ash, breccia and altered phyllite. Hole BDH-2 cut 4.1 g/t over 14.5 m, BDH-1S intersected 3.2g/t over 16.4 m, BHD-2S returned 1.3g/t over 7.5 m and BDH-3S had 1.5g/t over 22.2 m. This drilling confirms and expands the previous drilling conducted by Goldfields Mining and Radius Gold Inc. at the Bridge Zone.

Management considers these results significant because the zone is near-surface and potentially mineable by open pit. Bottle roll testing of previous samples collected by Aurogin gave a cyanide leach recovery of 83% indicating the material is not metallurgically complex. The Company plans to continue drilling to further delineate the mineralization. Neil Gow (P. Geo.) is the Qualified Person under NI 43-101 standards on this Project.

Aurogin Resources Ltd. is an emerging gold producer focused on the acquisition and development of profitable gold deposits in the Americas. The Company currently has two core projects: The El Sastre Project in Guatemala, an expanding resource that includes at least four mineralized zones, on which management is aiming to define a resource of more than one million ounces of gold; and, the Lone Mountain Project in Nevada located on the prolific Battle Mountain-Cortez Gold Trend, which has produced some 23 million ounces of gold over the past 30 years, making it the second most productive belt in the state after the Carlin District.
