      Einige Facts zur Firma:

      1. wie auf der Homepage kurz zusammengefasst West Timmins Mining Inc. is a Canadian mining exploration company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It trades under the symbol TSX:WTM. West Timmins Mining is the largest land holder in the West Timmins mining camp, adjacent to the historic 70 million ounce Timmins Camp in Ontario, Canada. There it is exploring aggressively on a number of gold occurrences and to expand a 400,000 ounce gold resource (4 MT @3.0 g/t). West Timmins Mining Inc. is also active in the Sierra Madré gold belt in Mexico with a number of large projects under exploration, including the head waters of the largest placer gold district in Mexico.
      2. West-Timmins verfügt bereits über 400 000 Unzen Resourcen
      3. West Timmins hat Joint Ventures mit GOLDCORP UND lAKE SHORE GOLD, welche beide selber über sehr, sehr grosse Goldprojekte im äusserst bekannten West Timmins Gold District verfügen ;)
:lick:
      5. Explorationsbudget von 5 Mio. $ - Drillings sind gestartet!
      6. TOP-MANAGEMENT: Hier sind Leute aus dem Umfeld von MAG Silver und Excellon Resources dabei, CEO ist selber Geologe
      7. Sehr starke institutionelle Investoren an Bord

West Timmins Mining Inc. to Focus on Large Projects in West Timmins Camp and Sierra Madres of Mexico

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Sep 18, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX News Network) --
NOT FOR DISSEMINATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN THE UNITED STATES OR TO U.S. NEWSWIRE SERVICES

A new entrant to the Canadian mining industry, West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM), was formally launched on the Toronto Stock Exchange today in Toronto, Ontario. West Timmins Mining will trade under the symbol WTM.

"The launch of West Timmins Mining today is exciting and we plan to move quickly forward with our gold exploration activities in Timmins, Ontario and in Mexico," said Darin Wagner, President of West Timmins Mining. "This summer we raised $5 million and intend to have drills turning on our West Timmins and Montana de Oro projects within the next few weeks."

West Timmins Mining is the newest merger to be completed in the gold sector and the Company controls several large, district-scale exploration projects. It is the largest landholder in the new West Timmins Gold district and also controls the 99 square kilometre Montana de Oro project with 13 multi-gram gold occurrences at surface.

"Mergers in the gold sector are headline news in North America at the moment and the creation of West Timmins demonstrates the strengths in both management and property positions that can be achieved through the merger process," said R. Michael Jones, Director of West Timmins Mining. "The history of the Canadian mining industry is in its strong roots producing well managed and aggressive exploration companies, from which will come the next generation of gold miners."

      About West Timmins Mining Inc.

      - 114 square kilometres in West Timmins district, completely surrounding the new Timmins West discovery.

      - An independently confirmed (1998) NI 43-101 compliant 400,000 ounce, near surface inferred gold resource (4 million tonnes @ 3.0 grams per tonne)

      - Active joint ventures on within the West Timmins project holdings with Lake Shore Gold (TSX:LSG) and Goldcorp (TSX:G)

      - 3 large properties in Mexico, including the 99 square kilometre Montana de Oro Project which covers the source area of one of Mexico's largest gold placer district

      - Independent Board members include Mr. Eric Carlson, President of Vancouver-based Anthem Properties, Mr. Peter Crossgrove, former CEO and Vice-chairman of Placer Dome Inc. and a member of the Order of Canada, Mr. Thor Eaton, Toronto-based philanthropist and Mr. R. Michael Jones, President and CEO of Platinum Group Metals Ltd. and co-discoverer of the Glimmer Mine in Timmins.

      - $5 million exploration budget for 2006-2007

      Sierra Madre Gold Belt

The Sierra Madre Gold Belt in north-western Mexico has produced 40 million ounces of gold and over ten billion ounces of silver. The belt is home to a number of recent gold and silver discoveries and new mine development projects. In addition to the Montana de Oro project, West Timmins Mining also controls the Yoquivo Mining District, which is found in the same geological setting as Mexico's newest gold mine located 35 km to the northeast.

      Timmins Gold Camp

The Timmins Gold Camp has seen 70 million ounces of historic production and reserves since the first mine opened more than 90 years ago, making it North America's largest gold camp. New scientific data from the Ontario Government's "Discover Abitibi" project has confirmed that the West Timmins camp is underlain with the same geology as the main camp. The Timmins West gold discovery in 2004 heralded the establishment of the western extension to this historic camp - the West Timmins District. West Timmins Mining's predecessor companies acquired 114 square kilometres, completely surrounding the new discovery.

Darin Wagner, P.Geo and President/CEO of West Timmins Mining is the qualified person for technical disclosure in this release.

      sieht sehr vielversprechend aus!

      Mr. Darin Wagner reports

EL RODEO TRENCHING YIELDS SIGNIFICANT GOLD GRADES AND WIDTHS FOR WEST TIMMINS MINING

West Timmins Mining Inc.'s initial trenching of the El Rodeo zone on the Montana de Oro project, Sonora, Mexico, has encountered good-grade gold mineralization and widths. Four trenches across the trend of the El Rodeo zone all successfully exposed a portion of the mineralized sequence over a strike length of 425 metres. The trenches are centrally located within a 1,300-metre gold mineralized trend defined by previously reported soil sampling and mapping. All trenches terminated in anomalous gold mineralization and drilling is planned to test the full width and strike extent of this promising new discovery.

Gold mineralization at El Rodeo is associated with strongly elevated silver (Ag), copper (Cu) and lead (Pb) values (see the table below), all of which appear to increase in abundance, relative to gold grade, to the north along the mineralized zone.

"The trench results confirm our earlier sampling results and the continuous nature of the El Rodeo zone," said Darin Wagner, president and chief executive officer of West Timmins Mining. "Drill testing of this exciting new target is expected to commence within the next 30 days as a drill rig becomes available."

      including 0.95 15.60 241.00 0.26 3.76

The El Rodeo zone was discovered by West Timmins through systematic exploration of its 99-square-kilometre Montana de Oro project. El Rodeo is one of 13 gold systems located within the Montana de Oro project area, which sat dormant within the Mexican national mineral reserve for 25 years until auctioned to West Timmins in late 2004. The Montana de Oro project is located in the heart of Sierra Madre gold belt, 40 kilometres southwest of Glamis Gold's El Sauzal deposit (proven and probable reserves of 15.82 million tonnes at 3.29 grams per tonne gold and 3.72 grams per tonne silver) and 30 kilometres south of Palmarejo Silver and Gold's Palmarejo-Trogan project.

      Quality control

Analytical results reported herein are for continuous channel samples collected from bedrock, sealed on site and transported to ALS Chemex's preparation facilities in Hermosillo, Mexico, by the staff of Minera Cascabel S.A. de C.V., who act as consultants for the company in Mexico.

All samples were pulverized to greater than 85 per cent passing through a 75-micron screen. Samples were analyzed for gold by standard fire assay with AA finish. Rock samples returning in excess of 10 grams per tonne gold were reanalyzed by standard fire assay with gravimetric finish. In addition, all samples underwent 41-element ICP analysis. Silver, lead and copper samples returning values greater than 100 parts per million, 1 per cent and 1 per cent, respectively, were reanalyzed by fire assay with ICP finish to confirm the higher values. Mr. Wagner, PGeo, is the qualified person under NI 43-101 for this news release.

Coeur D'Alene Mines announced today that they are merging with Palmarejo Silver and Gold whose sole asset - the Palmarejo Silver and Gold project - sits less than 15 kilometres north of our Montaña de Oro Project in the Sierra Madre Belt of Mexico.

In a transaction valued at U.S. $1.1 Billion Coeur D'Alene will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Palmarejo. As a result Coeur D'Alene, upon commencement of production from Palmarejo, will become the largest primary silver producer in the world. Production is expected to commence from the Palmarejo Project in late 2008.

From WTM's standpoint this is an exciting transaction as it welcomes a new, major player into the Three Corner District - along with Goldcorp and Pan American Silver - and clearly demonstrates the exciting potential upside for our Montaña de Oro Project.

Montaña de Oro covers some 495 square kilometres of similar geology to that found in the Palmarejo Project area and is host to over 20 gold, silver and base metal prospects. WTM currently has two drills turning on the Montaña de Oro Project and recently announced encouraging results from the El Rodeo gold-silver Zone and the La Concepcion gold system.

The Company would like to welcome Coeur D'Alene Mines to the Three Corners District and wishes them the best of luck with development of the Palmarejo Project. Watch for more news from the Montaña de Oro Project and the Three Corners District over the coming weeks.

      news vom 12. juni

West Timmins Mining Inc. (CA:WTM: news, chart, profile) announced today that initial drill testing of the Yoquivo Project has intersected multiple zones of silver-gold mineralization. Surface mapping conducted during the on-going drill program has also identified two new, high-grade gold-silver mineralized vein systems. The Yoquivo Project covers the entirety of the historic Yoquivo Mining District and is located 35 km southeast of the recently opened Ocampo Gold--Silver Deposit.
Vein and Stockwork Silver-Gold Targets Intersected
Three diamond drill holes have now been completed on the Yoquivo Project. Hole Y07-01 targeting the El Gambusino vein returned 289 g/t silver and 2.18 g/t gold over a 70 cm width at a vertical depth of approximately 32.00 metres. A second zone of anomalous silver-gold mineralization was intersected deeper in the hole (Table 1).
Diamond drill hole Y07-02, collared 590 metres northeast of hole-01, tested the southern end of the Muralla trend. Muralla is a silver-gold mineralized quartz stockwork zone developed over widths of 5 to 40 metres. Hole Y07-02 intersected a quartz stockwork zone and anomalous silver and gold over 27.50 metres. The core of this zone returned 12.00 metres averaging 40.18 g/t silver and 0.15 g/t gold.
Drill hole Y07-03 targeting the northern portion of the Muralla and the La Nina mineralized trend has been completed and results are pending. The 3,000 metre Phase 1 drill program will also target extensions to the high-grade San Francisco mine (historically reported production grade of 10.90 g/t gold and 1,120 g/t silver) and other mineralized structures including the recently discovered El Indio system (see below).

      2007-06-14 08:55 ET - News Release

      Mr. Darin Wagner reports

WTM REPORTS 18.35 METRES GRADING 5.15% ZINC, 0.45% COPPER, 25.65 G/T SILVER AND 0.50 G/T GOLD FROM MASSIVE SULPHIDE INTERCEPT AT MONTANA DE ORO, MEXICO

West Timmins Mining Inc.\'s drill hole LC07-07 has returned 18.35 metres (60.32 feet) grading 5.15 per cent zinc, 0.45 per cent copper, 25.65 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 0.5 g/t gold. The massive sulphide portion of this interval, initially announced in Stockwatch April 26, 2007, returned 7.55 metres (24.77 feet) grading 7.28 per cent zinc, 0.67 per cent copper, 40.79 g/t silver and 0.91 g/t gold, including a 0.9-metre massive sphalerite zone which assayed 27.22 per cent zinc.

The La Dura West (LC) zone intersected in hole LC07-07 is located 1,450 metres west and 300 metres vertically below the La Dura (LD) East discovery, which returned 95.75 metres grading 2.51 per cent combined lead plus zinc, 8.81 g/t silver and 0.08 g/t gold (news in Stockwatch May 29, 2007).

\"The discovery of a large base-precious-metal-bearing system in the La Dura area of the Montana de Oro project is a major step forward for WTM,\" said Darin Wagner, president of West Timmins Mining. \"The discoveries in the La Dura East and West zones are the first stages in outlining the potential of this large intrusive-related system, which extends for over two kilometres east-west and over three kilometres north-south. The current Montana de Oro drill program will be expanded significantly to allow for aggressive testing of both discoveries and the entire La Dura mineralized system.\"

The La Dura discoveries are located in the south-central portion of West Timmins 100-per-cent-owned, 495-square-kilometre Montana de Oro project in the Sierra Madre belt of Sonora, Mexico. The Montana de Oro project sits at the heart of the Three States district, less than 50 kilometres from seven new mines or mine development projects including Goldcorp\'s El Sauzal gold deposit, Palmarejo Silver and Gold\'s Palmarejo-Trogan deposit and Pan American Silver\'s Alamo Dorado silver mine.

      Quality control and assurance

Geochemical results reported herein are from halved drill core samples collected from the company\'s Montana de Oro project. Core sampling is conducted on site by trained personnel and sealed samples are transported to ALS-Chemex\'s preparation facilities in Hermosillo, Mexico, by employees of consulting firm Minera Cascabel SA de CV on behalf of West Timmins Mining. Samples were assayed for gold by standard fire assay-ICP finish with a 30-gram charge. Samples additionally underwent 34-element ICP-MS analysis. Silver, zinc, copper and lead values in excess of 100 parts per million, 1 per cent, 1 per cent and 1 per cent, respectively, were reanalyzed by fire assay. The remaining half of the drill core is stored in a secure facility on the project site. For quality control purposes blank and analytical control standards were inserted into the sample sequence at regular intervals. Darin Wagner (MSc, PGeo), the company\'s president, has acted as qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has verified these results to the extent of having visually examined the drill core and confirmed that there were no discrepancies with the respect to the quality control samples submitted for analysis along with the drill core samples.

West Timmins Acquires One of Mexico's Highest Grade Historic Gold Producers: Historically Reported Production Grades of 95 g/t Gold (2.8 oz/ton) and 850 g/t Silver (24.8 oz/ton)
      08:00 EDT Wednesday, July 18, 2007

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - July 18, 2007) - West Timmins Mining Inc. (TSX:WTM) announced today that its wholly owned Mexican subsidiary, Minera Golondrina S. de. R.L. de C.V., has finalized an agreement to purchase a 100% interest in the Lluvia de Oro gold-silver mine and surrounding exploration grounds in southern Chihuahua, Mexico. Lluvia de Oro is located in the Three States Mineral District, 32 kilometres east of the Company's Montana de Oro project and 15 kilometres west of Goldcorp's lowest cost gold producer, the El Sauzal Mine. The Lluvia de Oro Mine was, like Montana de Oro, part of the National Mineral Reserve of Mexico for the past 26 years.

The Lluvia de Oro mine produced approximately 100,000 tonnes of high-grade gold and silver ores between 1899 and 1915 from shallow underground workings ranging from 2.0 to 20.5 metres in width. Historically reported production grades averaged 95 g/t gold (2.8 oz/ton) and 850 g/t silver (24.8 oz/ton). Gold-silver mineralization was produced both from broad, silicified mantos and individual veins, including the Chivo vein which averaged 12 metres in width and returned average grades reported at 86 g/t gold (2.5 oz/ton) and 1,714 g/t silver (50.0 oz/ton).

Production ceased following the Mexican revolution, save for a brief period of high-grade pillar recovery during the 1950s. During the 1980s the Mexican Geological Survey conducted limited exploration work on the property including a surface trenching program. Bulk trench sample results, verified by an independent commercial laboratory, are reported by the Survey to have returned 35 metres grading 4 g/t gold and 29 g/t silver and 20 metres grading 5.6 g/t gold and 51 g/t silver. No exploration work has been completed on the property since that time.

"West Timmins is extremely pleased to have been able to add another gold exploration project of this calibre to our Mexican project portfolio," said Darin Wagner, President of West Timmins Mining. "The proximity to our Montana de Oro project will allow both projects to be explored from the same base of operations."

West Timmins Mining can acquire a 100% undivided interest in the Lluvia de Oro project by making cash payments totalling 6,050,000 Mexican Pesos (CDN $585,783) in five equal instalments over 30 months. The right to purchase the project was initially acquired at auction from the Government of Mexico by consulting group Minera Cascabel S.A de C.V. and vended to West Timmins under the terms of a first right of refusal agreement between WTM and Minera Cascabel. Minera Cascabel will receive, subject to regulatory and board approvals, a finder's fee of 100,000 common shares in conjunction with the acquisition of the Lluvia de Oro project. A 1% NSR royalty is reserved in favour of the Government of Mexico.

The Company is currently compiling all of the available historic information on the Lluvia de Oro Project and has initiated a geochemical sampling program of the project area. Mr. Darin Wagner (M.Sc., P.Geo.), the Company's President, has acted as qualified person for this news release. The qualified person has visited the property and examined the historic information on the project made available by the Government of Mexico.

West Timmins partner finds new Au zone at Thunder Creek

      2007-08-01 08:19 ET - News Release

      Mr. Darin Wagner reports

HIGH-GRADE GOLD INTERSECTED ON WEST TIMMINS' THUNDER CREEK PROPERTY, ONTARIO

West Timmins Mining Inc. has been informed by project operator Lake Shore Gold Corp. that a new zone of high-grade gold mineralization has been intersected on the Thunder Creek property near Timmins, Ont. The Thunder Creek property and new gold zone are immediately adjacent to Lake Shore's Timmins West property, which hosts 1.3 million ounces of gold in the measured and indicated category and another 200,000 ounces in the inferred category (1). The character of the mineralization in this new gold zone is similar to the ultramafic zones that hosts the majority of the gold mineralization at Timmins West.

Hole TC07-30 returned 10.91 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 3.65 metres, including 14.68 g/t gold over 2.65 metres from the new UM1 zone. The high-grade intercepts are hosted within a 6.80-metre-wide structural zone of strong alteration and mineralization. A second new zone of gold mineralization (UM2) located 8.75 metres farther down the hole returned 5.43 g/t gold over 1.20 metres. Both of these mineralized zones are hosted within a large ultramafic body, identical to the host of the ultramafic zones on the Timmins West property. These two zones appear to be subparallel to the Rusk zone which returned 27.60 g/t gold over 0.50 metre from a visible gold-bearing intercept lower in the same hole. The Rusk zone is located within another intensely altered shear zone along the southeast contact between the ultramafic body and adjacent sedimentary lithologies.

Lake Shore president and chief executive officer Brian Booth noted the new mineralized zones at Thunder Creek are shallow, at 280 metres below surface, and remains open along strike and at depth. "For the first time at Thunder Creek we have hit ultramafic-style gold mineralization that is similar to the ultramafic zones at Timmins West," said Mr. Booth. "This intersection confirms the potential of the Thunder Creek ultramafic intrusion to host high-grade gold mineralization with significant upside potential. The new intersections are located only 865 metres southwest of the location of the planned Timmins West shaft. If the discovery proves to be of sufficient size it may be accessible from the Timmins West shaft." He added that one rig will continue to drill at Thunder Creek to determine the geometry of the new zones prior to making the decision to add additional drills.

The true widths of these new zones are not known at this time as further drilling is required to determine their orientation. Lake Shore has indicated that a location map and composite longitudinal section for the new discovery will be made available shortly and will be posted on the company's website upon receipt.

"The discovery of high-grade gold zones within the ultramafic sequence at Thunder Creek continues to demonstrate the potential of the West Timmins district," said Darin Wagner, president and CEO of West Timmins Mining. "The ultramafic body which hosts the new discovery can be traced for over 8,000 metres through our 114-square-kilometre West Timmins gold project. This sequence is clearly a priority target for ongoing drill testing on our 100-per-cent-owned and joint venture properties."

Lake Shore Gold may earn a 60-per-cent interest in Thunder Creek property pursuant to an option agreement with West Timmins Mining through a series of cash and share payments and by completing $1.7-million in exploration expenditures on the property over a five-year period ending in September, 2008. Approximately $1-million in expenditures have been incurred to date.

      Quality control

The following information is supplied by the project operator with respect to the information contained herein. Lake Shore Gold has implemented a quality control program to ensure best practice in the sampling and analysis of the drill core. Assays have been completed using a standard fire assay with a 50-gram aliquot. For samples that return a value greater than three grams per tonne gold, another pulp is taken and fire assayed with a gravimetric finish. Zones with visible gold were conducted by pulp metallic analysis. NQ size drill core is saw cut and half the drill core is sampled in standard intervals. The remaining half of the core is stored in a secure location. The drill core is transported in security-sealed bags for preparation at ALS Chemex Prep Lab located in Timmins, Ont., and the pulps shipped to ALS Chemex Assay Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. ALS Chemex is an ISO 9001-2000 registered laboratory preparing for ISO 17025 certification.

Lake Shore's qualified person (QP) for the Thunder Creek property is Jacques Samson, PGeo. As QP he has prepared or supervised the preparation of the scientific or technical information for the property.

As announced in Stockwatch on Nov. 20, 2006, Lake Shore Gold's Timmins West deposit hosts gold resources totalling 1.29 million ounces (uncut) in the indicated category and an additional 207,000 ounces (uncut) in the inferred category. The indicated resource contains 3.3 million tonnes of ore grading 12.29 grams per tonne (uncut), and the inferred resource contains 968,000 tonnes grading 5.79 grams per tonne (uncut). Lake Shore's qualified person (QP) for Timmins West is Mr. Samson, PGeo. As the QP he has prepared or supervised the preparation of the scientific or technical information for the property. For details refer to Lake Shore's news release dated Nov. 20, 2006.
