TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 18, 2006) - AQUILA RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:AQA - News; Frankfurt:JM4A - News; "Aquila" or the "Company") announced today successful follow-up drill results on the Back Forty project from the new near-surface 90 Gold Zone and continued expansion of the VMS-hosted Main Zone, Tuff Zone and Deep Zone. The 90 Gold Zone is highlighted by 32.5 m of 8.07 g/t gold and 6.0 m of 13.8 g/t gold. Significant Main Zone intercepts include 18.4 m of 10.6 % zinc and 6.0 m of 14.9% zinc. Tuff Zone highlights include 15.9 m of 4.5 g/t gold, 130.6 g/t silver and 2.9% zinc as well as 6.0 m of 6.7 g/t gold and 321.9 g/t silver. A new zinc intercept in the Deep Zone yielded 35.6 m of 5.74% zinc marking the first time the Deep Zone has produced significant zinc mineralization. Two drills are active at the project targeting near surface base and precious mineralization at the East Zone and the Pin Wheel Zone which are part of the MRT acquisition. Analytical results from a total of 27 completed holes are pending. An updated National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimate, which will include data from the recently acquired MRT property, is planned following completion of the current phase of drilling. 90 Gold Zone At the 90 Gold Zone five holes drilled at 10 and 20 metre step outs around discovery hole LK-90 all intersected gold and silver mineralization. The results are shown below.

The near-surface 90 Gold Zone was first discovered in drill hole LK-90 which intersected 19.4 metres of 10.35 g/t gold (reported in Aquila press release on 9/11/2006). Results of the five step-out holes reported above show continuity of gold mineralization. The initial interpretation of the zone is that it is structurally controlled and steeply dipping with an estimated true thickness between 10 and 15 metres. The mineralization appears to be located peripheral to the massive sulfide zones. The 90 Gold Zone remains open with exploration potential along strike for approximately 200 meters. Future drilling will be directed at defining and expanding this near-surface gold mineralization. Massive Sulfide Expansion Three zones of massive sulfides were targeted by the reported drill holes. The three holes reported below are notable in that they each intersected multiple mineralized zones.

Main Zone: Step-out drilling has resulted in significant expansion of this zone. LK-93, drilled 27 metres east of a previous intercept, encountered 18.4 metres of 10.6% zinc (estimated true width 12.0 meters). LK-96, a 25 metre over-cut of LK-93, returned 6.0 metres of 14.89% zinc (estimated true width 4.0 metres). In addition, LK-94 encountered sulfide stringer mineralization 25 metres below the Main Zone intercept in LK-93 which returned 5.4 metres of 4.18% zinc. Tuff Zone mineralization was also expanded by LK-96 which yielded 15.9 metres of 4.46 g/t gold, 130.55 g/t silver and 2.92% zinc (est. true width 10.2 m) 30 metres east of previous intercepts. A 4.3 metre (est. true width 2.7m) sub-interval yielded 16.02 g/t gold and 394.12 g/t silver. LK-93 intersected 6.0 metres of 6.71 g/t gold and 321.93 g/t silver approximately 20 metres below LK-96. Twenty metres below this gold mineralization in Tuff Zone siliceous sediments was encountered in LK-94 (9.0 metres of 2.56 g/t Au). Deep Zone massive sulfide mineralization in LK-94 (35.6 metres of 5.74% zinc including 7.5 metres 12.21% zinc) represents the first zinc-rich intercept in this deep massive sulfide body and may signify a transition from copper dominated massive sulfides down plunge to the west and more zinc-rich sulfides to the east. The Deep Zone remains open east of LK-94 and is only partially constrained by drilling to the west. An intersection of the Deep Zone in LK-93 approximately 30 metres to the north intersected 7.5 metres of 1.75% copper and 1.03% zinc. Target zones outlined above can be cross referenced to the map titled Aquila Resources Inc. LK Massive Sulfide (Zinc-Gold-Copper) Generalized Geology located on the Aquila website at www.aquilaresources.com (Project link). An updated plan view of the drill holes has also been posted. Thomas O. Quigley, President and CEO of Aquila commented, "Drilling at the Back Forty Project continues to impress upon us the overall potential of the project and we look forward to updating our resource calculations in the near future." Mr. Quigley is the Qualified Person for Aquila as defined in National Instrument 43-101 and is responsible for the information contained in this release. Sample preparation and assays on split core submitted by Aquila were completed by ALS Chemex Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Vancouver, BC and by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay. Trace elements excluding gold were analyzed by ICP emission spectrometry with "ore grade" analyses conducted on heavily mineralized samples. Gold was analyzed by fire assay fusion with atomic absorption finish, with higher grade gold samples re-run with fire assay fusion and gravimetric finish. Standards were inserted in the sample stream and check analyses performed on select samples. Aquila is also pleased to announce that it has retained a European based investor relations firm, Daltech Worldwide Limited (Daltech) and its principal Erwin Speckert. Subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and escrow provisions Daltech will receive an option to purchase 400,000 common shares of Aquila at an exercise price of $1.25 per share. No monthly fees are payable in relation to arrangement. Other than the incentive stock option neither Daltech nor its principal has any direct or indirect interest in any of Aquila\'s securities. Aquila Drills New Gold Intercept and More Masssive Sulphides

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Sept. 11, 2006) - AQUILA RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:AQA)(FRANKFURT:JM4A) ("Aquila" or the "Company") is pleased to announce results from three (3) additional drill holes from the ongoing drill program at the Back Forty Project in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Results are highlighted by multiple gold and base metal intercepts listed in the table below.

Drill hole LK-88 was a step out of the Tuff Zone massive sulfide 35 meters to the west of drill hole 108471 and 60 meters northeast of LK-87 and encountered two horizons of Tuff Zone massive and stringer sulfides.

Drill hole LK-89 was a 25 meter step out from LK-80 on the Tuff Zone which intersected only anomalous values.

The near surface gold intercept encountered in LK-90 represents one of the more significant gold results discovered on the project to date. An additional five closely spaced follow up step outs from LK-90 have recently been completed and will be submitted for assay shortly. The five additional holes were designed to test the geometry of the zone and the potential for continuity of this type of mineralization. The location of LK-90 is shown on the plan view map of drill holes on the Aquila web site.

A total of 102 drill holes have been completed to date at the Back Forty Project and results will continue to be reported as assays are received. A second drill has now been mobilized to the property with drilling underway. One drill will focus on defining near surface gossans and massive sulfides on the recently acquired MRT property. The second drill will continue to test deeper targets and down plunge extensions of the known massive sulfide bodies.

Sample preparation and assays on split core submitted by Aquila were completed by ALS Chemex Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Vancouver, BC. Trace elements, excluding gold, were analyzed by ICP emission spectrometry with "ore grade" analyses conducted on heavily mineralized samples and samples exceeding upper reporting limits for the ICP package. Gold was analyzed by fire assay fusion with atomic absorption finish with samples exceeding 3 ppm gold re-run with fire assay fusion and gravimetric finish. Standards were inserted in the sample stream and check analyses performed on select samples. Thomas O. Quigley, P. Geo., is the qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 and is responsible for the information contained in this news release.

Aquila Expands Near Surface Gold and Zinc Mineralization 59.1 Meters of 4.27 G/T Gold 40.5 Meters of 1.74 G/T Gold and 8.17% Zinc
Thursday November 2, 1:00 am ET

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 2, 2006) - AQUILA RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:AQA - News; FRANKFURT:JM4A - News; "Aquila" or the "Company") is pleased to announce results of 3 holes from the East Zone on the recently acquired MRT Property, drilled with the purpose of expanding and defining near surface mineralization at the Back Forty Project. The East Zone and Pinwheel Zone occur over a strike length of 450 meters separated by the down dropped Main Zone Hinge which is the target of current drilling. Results from an additional 11 holes at the East Zone and 25 holes at the Pinwheel Zone are pending.
Drill holes LK-103E, LK-104E, and LK-105E comprised a north south fence of 25 meter spaced vertical holes located 25 meters west of holes drilled last spring and reported in a news release dated June 6, 2006. All three drill holes encountered gold bearing gossan overlying thick intervals of gold and/or zinc rich massive and semi massive sulfide, as well as dense stringer sulfide mineralization. Highlights include:

      - 3.6 meters of 6.16 g/t gold (gossan) directly over 55.5 meters of 4.15 g/t gold in LK-103E

      - 3.1 meters of 36.98 g/t gold (gossan) directly over 57.0 meters of 2.19 g/t gold in LK-104E

      - 3.4 meters of 9.28 g/t gold (gossan) directly over 40.5 meters of 1.74 g/t gold and 8.17% zinc in LK-105E (all intervals equal estimated true width)

More detailed assay results for these drill holes are presented in the table below.

East Zone mineralization is nearly flat lying and occurs under thin (3 to 15 meters) glacial overburden. Below the overburden, 3 to 4 meters of precious metal enriched gossan typically caps intervals of massive sulfide and underlying stringer mineralization. "We are extremely pleased to encounter these thick zones of gold and zinc mineralization capped by precious metal enrichment at the near surface East Zone," stated Tom Quigley, President and CEO of Aquila. "Especially notable is the continuity of gold mineralization from very near the surface to depths approaching 70 meters, suggesting potential for a substantial near surface resource at the East Zone and Pinwheel Zone." Assay results from the additional 11 holes at the East Zone, and 25 holes at the Pinwheel Zone, as well as from other deeper targets will be released when they have been received. A map showing the location of the drill holes has been posted on the Aquila website at www.aquilaresources.com.

Information from drilling through the end of October will be incorporated into an updated National Instrument 43-101 technical report to be completed by year end. The report will contain an updated resource estimate as well as new details of geology and mineralization at the Back Forty Project.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario on split drill core supplied by Aquila. Standards were inserted in the sample sequences with check assays and re-runs routinely conducted. Tom Quigley, P.Geo. and President of Aquila, is the Qualified Person as described in National Instrument 43-101 for the Back Forty Project and is responsible for the contents of this press release.

A drill intercept in a porphyry margin included 6 meters of 32.9 g/t gold and 189.4 g/t silver in drill hole LK-80 which was extended to greater depth. The intercept contained visible gold.

Drill results from massive and stringer sulfides at the East Zone continue to show good grades and thicknesses, enhancing the near surface potential of this zone. The gold intercept in the extension of LK-80 onto the MRT ground represents the tenth intercept along the margin of the central quartz feldspar porphyry intrusion which is closely associated with the Main Zone massive sulfide. Nine additional intercepts along this porphyry margin have been encountered in previous drilling over a strike length of 325 meters, at depths ranging from 125 to 350 meters with grades up to 54.01 g/t gold over 3 meters.

Similar to the "90 Gold Zone" mineralization reported in a previous press release (October 17, 2006), these porphyry related gold intercepts represent a precious metal target distinct from massive sulfide mineralization, and continue to illustrate the gold rich nature of the hydrothermal system at the Back Forty Project. Future drilling will focus on expanding and delineating this style of gold mineralization, as well as the 90 Gold Zone and the known massive sulfide lenses. Additional information about porphyry margin gold mineralization is available on the Aquila website at www.aquilaresources.com.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario on split drill core supplied by Aquila. "We are pleased to see very significant copper values in the massive sulfides at the Pinwheel Zone," stated Tom Quigley, Aquila\'s President. "These values, along with overlying gold rich gossans, have important economic implications for this near surface zone. We are also pleased to see good results from the Main Zone Hinge mineralization, as this thickened lens of massive sulfide represents an important connection between the near surface East and Pinwheel zones".

Four holes from the East Zone and 20 from the Pinwheel Zone remain to be reported, and assay results from these holes will be released in the order and sequence they are received. One drill rig continues to test the Main Zone Hinge area located between the East and Pinwheel zones, and details of the current drilling, including a plan view map of the drillhole locations and outline of the East, Pinwheel, and Main Zone Hinge areas are available on the company\'s website at http://www.aquilaresources.com/projects.php#map.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario on split drill core supplied by Aquila. Standards were inserted in the sample sequences with check assays and re-run\'s routinely conducted. Tom Quigley, P.Geo. and President of Aquila is the Qualified Person as described in National Instrument 43-101 for the Back Forty Project and is responsible for the content of this press release.

The latest results (all within 40 meters of the surface) continue to expand the near surface copper rich massive sulfides and precious metal rich gossans at the Pinwheel Zone. Significant zinc mineralization occurring with copper (3.65% copper and 4.99% zinc over 11.8 meters in LK-131P), as well as copper enrichment within the gossans (2.1% copper over 10.2 meters in LK-130P) represent new styles of mineralization in this near surface environment.

The four holes reported from the East Zone are the final results from the current drilling program for this zone and were drilled to complete the definition of the easternmost portion of the massive sulfides and gossans in this area. Additional drilling will be required to further define porphyry margin gold mineralization previously encountered in this area and not targeted in the last round of drilling.

Sixteen holes from the Pinwheel Zone and seven holes from the Main Zone Hinge remain to be reported, and assay results from these holes will be released in the order and sequence they are received. An up to date plan map of completed and pending holes is available on the company's website at http://www.aquilaresources.com/projects.php#map.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, Ontario on split drill core supplied by Aquila.

      Vorab schon ´mal Danke

      Dear

We will have two drills operating full time on the project in the near future with quite a few very good targets both base metals and gold.

The resource calculation is expected very soon.

Our goal is to try to increase the resource even further after the resource calculation goes out. Much more drilling is planned.

      Regards,

Drill holes LK-161, 162, 163 and 165 were designed to test the lateral extent of exceptionally large, zinc-rich massive sulphide and associated gold mineralization initially defined by holes LK-148, LK-150, LK-151 and 108416 within and on the northern margin of the Main zone hinge. LK-160 and LK-164 were aborted due to drilling conditions.

LK-165 was an infill hole drilled in a poorly defined portion of the Main zone hinge, and has yielded the largest massive sulphide intercept drilled to date, nearly doubling the massive sulphide thickness used in the National Instrument 43-101 resource model for this area of the hinge.

Significant gold mineralization was encountered in LK-161, 162 and 163, confirming the presence of yet another concentration of the precious metals at Back Forty. This zone, centred on Section 435225E, may be structurally controlled and related to a postulated fault that downdrops the Main hinge zone westward. Previous intercepts in this area included 17.3 metres of 6.62 g/t Au in 108416 and 58.5 metres of 5.1 g/t Au in LK-148.

The gold in LK-163 is significant because it has identified potentially economic mineralization above Main zone hinge massive sulphides within 50 metres of surface.

LK-161 also intersected zinc mineralization in the Deep zone massive sulphide, further defining the geometry and increasing the base-metal potential of this zone.

Drilling in the Main zone hinge area continues to define and expand thick massive sulphides and underlying stringer gold-copper mineralization as well as porphyry margin gold mineralization and possible eastward extensions of the 90 gold zone. This area of drilling lies between the near-surface gossans and massive sulphides of the East zone (one million tonnes of 5.2 per cent zinc and four g/t gold) and the near-surface Pinwheel zone (1.25 million tonnes of 1.6 per cent copper, 2.53 g/t gold and 66 g/t silver). The extent of mineralization in the Main zone hinge area will be important in determining the size and geometry of potential open-pit design related to these near-surface zones.

Two additional drill holes (RS-1 and RN-3) testing AEM anomalies on a separate property to the south intersected disseminated pyrrhotite mineralization in volcanic rocks and exhalative sediments of probable equivalent age to the Back Forty lithologies. No significant base or precious metals were encountered. The holes are scheduled for follow-up downhole pulse EM surveying this summer.

To date, samples from six additional drill holes have been shipped for assay and five more holes have been completed and are in core processing. Three rigs continue to operate at the Back Forty property. Targets include the down-dip expansion of the Pinwheel zone, the deep on-strike extension of the Main zone south limb, and the continued delineation of gold and massive sulphide mineralization associated with the Main zone hinge. An up-to-date plan map of completed and pending holes is available on the company's website.

Sample preparation and analyses for this release were conducted by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay, Ont., on split drill core supplied by Aquila. Standards were inserted in the sample sequences with check assays and reruns routinely conducted. Tom Quigley, PGeo, and president of Aquila, is the qualified person as described in National Instrument 43-101 for the Back Forty project and is responsible for the content of this press release.

Aquila ohne RSR - Dem Tode geweiht.

Aquila ohne Genehmigung chancenlos. Quo vadis ?

Was soll das nun heissen ?

Aquila ohne Genehmigung chancenlos. Quo vadis ?

Einkaufen!

warum passiert hier soooo lange nix mehr?

Umsätze sind ja da. News nicht.

Wann gibt es was Neues?
