=DJ CANADA VENTURE: Mexivada Assets Could Be Spun Off --

By Brian Truscott
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

VANCOUVER (Dow Jones)--Mexivada Mining Corp. (MNV.V) might want to consider
changing its corporate name, now that one of its more prominent projects is in
Africa - not Mexico or Nevada.
In fact, Mexivada's latest project is in the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville),
where its subsidiary, Compagnie Miniere du Chaillu, has just been awarded three
new concessions for raw diamonds in the Chaillu Massif, which is in and around
the Mayoko greenstone belt. The company now has four concessions for gold and
diamonds as well as four additional prospecting permits in the region.
"There's never been any work in this Mayoko greenstone belt so this thing has
huge potential," said Richard Redfern, Mexivada's chief executive and president.

The bottom line here is that the property has a Witwatersrand-type
gold-diamond mineralization - that's a good thing, historically.
"Witswatersrand (mineralization) has some of the world's largest gold deposits
(and there are diamonds in them also)...and we could have gold-bearing
conglomerates that have been enriched by gold-bearing vein systems, which opens
the possibilty for open-pit mining," he said. "If there's any indication that
it's the size we think it is, the majors will come running in."
Sounds great, but as always with a junior mining company, highly speculative.
However, the prospect looks tempting and Redfern - a geologist who has worked
with majors and juniors, including Barrick Gold Corp. (ABX), since 1975 - has
been sitting on the Congo property since the mid-1990s.

Congo, Yes, But Don't Forget Numerous N.A. Assets

While the Congo property looks enticing, Mexivada still has its share of
Americas-based assets, including the Jefferson property in Nevada - in an area
that's historically been associated with mining and one that's attracted some of
the more major rivals, including Barrick, Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) and Kinross
Gold Corp. (KGC). Mexivada awaits forest service permits but has already
identified seven or eight targets for open-pit or underground mines in the area.

"We'll get that (permitting) done within six to 12 months," Redfern said.
In Mexico, Mexivada continues to work its gold-silver (and lead and zinc)
Yecora property, which is near the state of Chihuahua.
However, a more pressing problem for Redfern - and the company's board - is
that Mexivada is now sitting on a number of assets that are growing in value as
exploration gradually moves toward development.
"We have to figure out some way to do deals on individual entities so that
some bigger, cash-rich company doesn't just take us out, lock, stock and
barrel," he said. "We might spin (the African property) off into a Barbados
corporate Congo diamond corporation - and then we can spin off the Mexico
(assets) into something else as well as putting the U.S. assets into another
(entity)."
The Congo-based asset spin-off would create immediate shareholder value - as
well as for Redfern, given that he owns 2 million of the 23.4 million
outstanding shares in Mexivada.
Ultimately, the next year looks to be a make-or-break period for the junior
explorer.
"Within a year, we'll have things explored well enough" to create some
interest in the company, Redfern said.
"We're not miners," he said. "We want to attract some major and mid-sized
companies; when we find enough to get them interested, they'll come in and buy
us, basically."

Drill Permits granted for Gold Junction and Poker Flats Projects, Nevada

VANCOUVER, Nov 08, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ --
Mexivada has received approval from the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management ("BLM"), for a 20 to 30 hole drilling program on up to 20 drillsites at its Gold Junction project, located just north of the Gold Hill Mine of Barrick-Kinross-Nevada Star and of the + 11,000,000 ounce Round Mountain gold mine owned by Barrick-Kinross. Mexivada has also received approval from the BLM for a drilling program on up to 18 drillsites at its Poker Flats project on the Carlin Trend in Nevada, 2 kilometres south of and on trend with Newmont's +1,000,000 ounce Emigrant Springs gold deposit, which is in the final stages of permitting for a new, open pit heap leach gold operation.

Mexivada is ready to start these proposed drilling programs as soon as contracts for reverse-circulation, mud rotary, and/or core drilling are finalized. The drill holes will have depths of 25 to 200 metres to target at both Gold Junction and Poker Flats, and will focus on Round Mountain, Gold Hill, and Emigrant Springs-type open pittable, heap leach, oxidized gold target zones. Core drilling may be used to define certain zones of gold mineralization.

Mexivada is also finishing its surface geologic mapping, sampling, and geophysical field programs at its Jefferson and Ziggurat properties along the world class Round Mountain - Northumberland gold trend, and expects to begin permitting for drilling exploration at both properties with the U.S. Forest Service and BLM, respectively, before the end of 2006.

Mexivada successfully completed its CSAMT survey at Jefferson, with Zonge Engineering of Reno and Wright Geophysics of Spring Creek, Nevada, and has delineated new gold-silver and skarn copper drill targets under the large Porphyry Hill, West Vein, and SG-1 multi-event target areas. Jefferson contains drill-indicated bodies of silver-gold mineralization in the "Pit A" and "Pit B" target areas that were defined and quantified before the advent of N.I. 43-101, and thus are not compliant with such.

This press release and its contents have been reviewed by Alan J. Morris, Mexivada's Vice President of Exploration, a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

NEWS RELEASE
Mexivada Drilling Update: Yécora Project Mexico
Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to report on preliminary results obtained from its Phase 1 core drilling program at Yécora, Mexico.

Mexivada has completed 8 HQ-NQ wireline diamond core holes along the northern part of its 11-kilometre long gold-silver property located 8 kilometres east of Yécora, in the State of Sonora. The property lies adjacent to the main Hermosillo-Chihuahua paved highway, in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental mining province. The Yécora property is situated 40 kilometres south of the Mulatos Mine of Alamos Gold and 55 kilometres west of the Ocampo Mine of Gammon Lake Resources. Mexivada’s property is surrounded by a large concession owned by Bolnisi Gold, the majority owner of the Palmarejo silver-gold deposit. Bolnisi also controls 3 concessions within Mexivada’s property holdings.

The 8 drillholes, totaling 991.15 metres, were completed along the northern part of the Yécora property, and the vein targets were intersected in 5 of the 8 holes, at drill-string depths of 44.5 to 218.5 metres downhole. The other three targets were not reached or intersected in the holes due either to difficult drilling conditions in broken, altered rhyolites or due to the intersection of previously unknown mine workings in the holes, such as occurred in hole AR-2 at Amethyst Ridge. The core samples were sawed and sent to ALS Chemex labs, but assay results have not yet been received for the target zones. Where the targets were reached, the vein intervals ranged in length from 1.0 to 5.3 metres (not true width). Assay results will be reported after receipt and compilation of data. The Phase 1 drilling along the central and southern portions of the Yécora property will resume in January 2007.

The data herein and the contents of this press release have been reviewed by Richard R. Redfern, Certified Professional Geologist, who is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101.

MAYOKO GOLD and DIAMONDS PROJECT, CONGO (Brazzaville)

Mexivada Mining Corp., through its wholly-owned subsidiary in the Republic of Congo, Compagnie Miniere du Chaillu ("M2C"), has been awarded four Phase 1 prospecting permits covering 9,156 square kilometres and four exclusive, provisional Phase 2 concessions ("Permis de Recherches") for raw diamonds, gold and connected substances within a 2,970 square kilometre area in the Chaillu Massif, centered on the Mayoko Greenstone Belt, a past producer of alluvial gold and gem diamonds. The three-year Malambani, Bitsandou, and Nzambi Permis de Recherches are effective September 12 and October 17, 2006, having been signed by the Ministre of Mines, are renewable annually, and may be extended for two additional 2-year periods before the need to seek a mining exploitation permit. The final versions of the concessions await only the signature of the President of the Republic of Congo, the Hon. Mr. Denis Sassou-Nguesso.

The Republic of Congo (often referred to as "Congo-Brazzaville" after its capital city) is located north of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”), with which it is often confused, and is a secure and peaceful place to conduct mineral exploration work, due to the efforts of Mr. Sassou-Nguesso to revitalize the country's economy and infrastructure. The Malambani Permis de Recherches is the first exclusive exploration permit for minerals issued by the country in its new program to attract mining companies to conduct work in the Republic of Congo.

Mexivada has been conducting prospecting in its concessions and permit areas, evaluating exploration targets for economically viable deposits of gold and diamonds, under the direction of the company's president, Richard Redfern, and its Chaillu Project Manager, geologist Dr. Noel Watha-Ndoudy, who did his Ph.D. dissertation on gold in the Mayoko Greenstone Belt. Mexivada has established an experienced team of Congolese geologists and mining engineers working out of its newly-opened field offices in Mayoko and Mossendjo.

Mexivada and its President, Richard Redfern, were featured on September 1 in a one hour Brazzaville television interview program, "L'Economie en Marche," which was broadcast across the African continent.

The Mexivada properties are located in the southwestern part of the Republic of Congo, adjacent to and near the border with Gabon, 280 kilometres northeast of the oil port city of Pointe Noire and 370 kilometres northwest of the capital city of Brazzaville. The permit areas lie in the Chaillu Massif, an uplifted domal area that contains a sheared, mineralized, 8 by >23 kilometre long, northeasterly-trending Greenstone Belt enclosed by younger Archean granitic rocks. Alluvial gold and diamonds were produced from four regions in the permit areas. The Mayoko target area yielded mine production of 1,047 kilograms (33,661 ounces) of gold produced between 1945 and 1962 by the Avoine Company. The largest gold nugget found in the operation was approximately 1 kilogram in weight, with others mined ranging in weight between 10 and 40 grams, according to Avoine’s production superintendent, whom Mexivada’s Richard Redfern interviewed in 1995. Such large nuggets could be indicative of a lode gold deposit at depth, such as occurred at Boddington, Australia. Alluvial chromite, which is a kimberlite indicator mineral, was mined by Avoine from a gold-bearing area at Malambani that is a high priority for Mexivada in its search for diamondiferous kimberlite pipes/dikes and lode gold. Artisanal mining of gold continues in the Mayoko area today, with upwards of 50 "orpailleurs" extracting alluvial gold from the area.

The only other reported diamond mining in the Chaillu was prospecting and mining of more than 13,100 carats of alluvial diamonds by SOREDIA (Society for Diamond Research) after World War II, diamond prospecting by a Russian group led by Dr. V.I. Elisseev in the late 1960's, and a brief, unsuccessful look for kimberlite pipes during part of a recent rainy season by SouthernEra Diamonds. Soredia mined significant quantities of alluvial diamonds near Komono, on Mexivada's Nzambi diamond concession. Mexivada has delineated several high-priority diamond targets at Nzambi that will be explored, using SOREDIA geologic maps acquired by the company. The Russians delineated an inferred geological resource of 4,500 carats of alluvial diamonds from a N10W trending creek at Bikélélé and at “Grushevidnyi” on Mexivada's Bitsandou concession, where Mexivada recently purchased fancy colored diamonds from a family group of local "sluicers" who are working the creek for diamonds. Another new source of diamonds and gold on the Bitsandou concession was located recently just east of Bikélélé by another local prospector. Prospectors also recently discovered a 1 kilogram piece of metamorphic vein quartz float with coarse visible gold to 3 millimetres in size, as well as 3 reported diamonds, from the Leyou River in the Malambani concessions area, where the Russians earlier found gold and diamonds together.

At least three types of lode gold deposits are currently recognized by Mexivada in the greenstone belt sequence at Mayoko, including 1) Shear zone hosted gold-quartz-(sulfide) veins, 2) possible Homestake/Musselwhite-type gold mineralization associated with locally 100-200 metre wide sulfidation zones in and near banded iron formations, and 3) Archean age Witwatersrand-type metaconglomerate-hosted alluvial gold-diamond mineralization of 2.86+ Ga (billion years) Archean metamorphic age within the Greenstone Belt sequence exposed at Mayoko along a 10 to 15+ kilometre length. The gold-quartz veins and metaconglomerate-hosted gold deposit types may be superimposed atop of each other in the core of the greenstone belt, opening the possibility for discovery of open-pittable, hybrid, multi-pulse, higher-grade gold systems of world class size at Mayoko.

Diamonds are a high-priority target for Mexivada in the Chaillu Massif. Kimberlites and diamonds to 60+ carats in size are known to occur northwest of the Mexivada concessions in the Makongonio-Mbigou area of southern Gabon, in a part of the Chaillu Massif that also was mined by SOREDIA and now is being explored by De Beers, SouthernEra, and the Motapa Diamonds-BHP Billiton joint venture.

One of the largest gem diamonds ever produced in Central Africa was mined from Mexivada's Malambani Diamonds concession area, a reported 22 millimetre, sharp-faced, gem-quality diamond crystal that weighed approximately 75 to 100 carats. Two other gem diamonds, approximately 2 to 3 carats in size each, also were recovered from the same spot on the Bilala River by the Avoine company. The kimberlitic source of these diamonds was never found, but only 1 to 2 metre thicknesses of alluvial gravel are present in this area. Geologic studies suggest that diamonds of such large size and sharp edges typically have not traveled far from their original sources, and thus may be from a hidden kimberlite pipe or dike in the permit area, perhaps near the chromite occurrence. Diamonds to more than 1 carat in size (cleaved chunks) currently are being recovered on the Bitsandou concession, including some stones of attractive "fancy" colors, including light blue-green (b-g-C color) and brownish orange. Dr. Elisseev’s team also found a zone of high alluvial concentration of somewhat larger-size diamonds near Bikélélé at their Grushevidnyi locality, which will be studied by the Mexivada field teams. Some corundum also occurs at Bitsandou, which is being studied for possible use as an indicator mineral for diamond exploration (high Cr contents).

The diamonds in southern Gabon at Makongonio appear to occur in younger, post-Archean, north-northwest trending structural blocks, in a geological setting similar, in Mexivada's opinion, to the diamond occurrence studied by Mexivada on its Bitsandou concession. A diamond-bearing trend in nearby Angola appears to occur along a re-fractured, northeast trending, transform-type belt, parallel to the faults in the northeast-trending Mayoko system. The Mayoko Greenstone Belt may be bounded on the west and cut in the center (near the chromite) by north-northwest trending block faults, parallel to the structural controls in the Makongonio-Mbigou kimberlite pipe area. Mexivada views these unexplored tectonic blocks at Mayoko and Bitsandou to be highly prospective exploration targets for diamondiferous kimberlites. The company is designing a helicopter-airborne magnetics/TEM geophysical program to test the Mayoko greenstone belt for both gold and kimberlites, and hopes to conduct such a program in May 2007. Mexivada is continuing a program of detailed geologic mapping and rock, soil, and stream sediment sampling for gold, diamonds, and diamond indicator minerals, from its Mayoko and Mossendjo field offices, and recently discovered two sites at Malambani that may contain kimberlite indicator minerals, which samples currently are being analyzed by SGS Minerals Services for verification.

A Mexivada sample of alluvial tailings from the Malambani Mine core area on the Bilala River, situated where the large gem diamond was found, carried more than 80 percent gray vein quartz in the +0.5 centimetre screen oversize fraction. This suggests that the core of the Greenstone Belt where the Witwatersrand-type metaconglomerates occur has good potential for the discovery of large, shear-hosted, Ghana-type gold-bearing vein systems. Prospectors recently discovered a 1 kilogram piece of metamorphic vein quartz float with coarse visible gold to 3 millimetres in size, as well as 3 reported diamonds, from the Leyou River in the Malambani permit area. Gold also is present at Mayoko within sulfide-bearing shear zones and sulfidation zones (pyrite +/- arsenopyrite) that cut a sequence of amphibolites, oxide- and carbonate facies banded iron formations, and metasedimentary rocks. Mexivada is presently searching for Homestake/Musselwhite-type replacement gold deposits at Mayoko, as gold is reported to occur in or near a banded iron formation in the relatively unexplored, northwestern part of the Greenstone Belt. Mexivada recently found an unreported sulfidation zone near banded iron formations in the northeastern part of the greenstone belt, and is presently sampling and evaluating it.

Syn-sedimentary gold and diamonds also are reported to be present in folded Archean metaconglomerates in the core of the Greenstone Belt, which are exposed at the surface along as much as a 10 to 15+ kilometre length. No detailed geological mapping, sampling, or drilling has been conducted on these rocks, apart from reconnaissance mapping by Raymond Boineau in the 1950's and a brief program by Dr. Elisseev’s Russian group in the 1960s. The metaconglomerates in the Mayoko area are associated with gneisses dated at 2.86 Ga, and thus may be similar in age and overall form to the famous 2.82-2.89 Ga Witwatersrand-type gold-uranium-(diamond) deposits mined in South Africa. The conglomerates at Mayoko, though, appear to have been deposited in deeper water (slope facies?), than the South African Rand sequence strata. The company’s geologists report also finding ultramafic rocks in the core of the belt, another new discovery. Mexivada has begun a search at Mayoko for open-pittable, hybrid Witwatersrand-type gold systems that have been cut by and possibly re-mineralized with additional gold by later shear-hosted gold-quartz-(sulfide) vein systems and arsenical sulfidation zones.

These production data (Avoine) and resource extrapolation figures (Elisseev) were calculated prior to the advent of National Instrument 43-101 and are not compliant with such, and are presented herein merely as items of historical interest that should not be construed as being representative of actual resources present on the Mexivada permit areas. No mineral resources or Mineral Reserves, as defined by C.I.M. or other organizations, have been defined by Mexivada for any of its target areas in the Chaillu Massif, and no exploration- or definition drilling has ever been conducted in the area, to the knowledge of the company. Mexivada's field programs in the Chaillu Massif are subject to change, depending on regional and local conditions.

B.

1. Hier ist der Link
http://www.rohstoff-spiegel.de/count.php?url=rs_2006-14.pdf

Ich bin hier äusserst gespannt, was hier kommt.

Mexivada intersects 3 grams gold and 199 grams silver on its Yécora project, Mexico
Tuesday February 13, 9:30 am ET

TSX-V: MNV OTC: MXVDF Frankfurt: M2Q
VANCOUVER, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that is has received drilling assay results with grades of up to 4.66 grams per tonne (g/t) Gold (0.136 ounces per ton Au) and 529 g/t silver (15.5 ounces per ton Ag) from the 11-kilometre long Yécora gold-silver project, located in the Mulatos-Ocampo sector of the Sierra Madre Occidental mineral province in Sonora, Mexico. These results are from six of the nine Phase 1 diamond core holes drilled in 2006. Mexivada is still awaiting the assay results from portions of 3 of the nine holes, which will be published in due course.

The Mexivada drilling was conducted north of the open cut/underground San Francisco gold-silver-lead-zinc mine, which is controlled by Bolnisi Gold, N.L., whose concessions totally surround and lie partly within Mexivada's 1,109 hectare property position at Yécora. Mexivada's drill results include significant gold-silver mineralization with accompanying significant base metal values of lead, zinc, and copper.

Mexivada interprets the Yécora mineralization, which occurs at and below the contact of the Upper Series rhyolites, to be of a high level nature. Epithermal mineralization at the nearby Ocampo Mine extends from this contact downward for approximately 700 metres.

Mexivada's drilling program is being conducted on the Yécora property to better define mine targets established on the surface by detailed geologic mapping, rock sampling and analysis.

Exploration targets were reached in six of the 9 drillholes along a 2.6 kilometre length of the Colón vein system. The vein- and breccia mineralization intersected by Mexivada had core lengths of 1 to 5.3 metres. A 1.22 metre wide mine working was intersected at a depth of 124 metres in hole AR-2 at Amethyst Ridge, showing that mine exploration/development extended much farther northwest of the San Francisco open cut (1,100 metres) than anticipated by Mexivada.

Pacific Rainier drilled the only exploration core holes in the area, in 1995, on Bolnisi ground in and adjacent to the San Francisco open cut. Their best hole intersected 2.13 metres of mineralization that assayed 11.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 0.76 metre that assayed 25.5 g/t Au and 128.9 g/t Ag.

Mexivada intersected 2.5 metres of 3.01 g/t gold, 200 g/t silver, 0.25% lead, 0.34% zinc, and 0.59% copper in hole ZB-1, which was drilled from a site located 600 metres northwest of the San Francisco open cut.

2007 Phase I drilling program underway

Gold mineralization at Yécora continues for an additional 3 kilometres north of the Phase 1 drilling area, as well as 7 kilometers to the south of the San Francisco open cut. This southern area is now being drill tested by Mexivada in its 2007 Phase 1 drilling program, in which three additional core holes have already been completed, confirming, visually, additional mineralization in Mexivada's southern concession area. The drill cores are logged and sawed by Mexivada personnel in the company's field office at Yécora and transported to N.I. 43-101 compliant assay laboratories in Hermosillo, Sonora, under chain-of-custody procedures.

Exploration Objectives

Mexivada's objective in its 2006/07 program is to drill test the 11 Km. strike length and down-dip extensions of known, fault-controlled gold-silver mineralization and possible skarn zones of precious metal enriched base metal-(molybdenum) mineralization demonstrated by earlier mining and by surface exploration conducted by Mexivada and others. Mexivada's goal for the Phase 1 drilling project at Yécora is to define the location of significant "shoots" of gold-silver mineralization that could be proven up by later Phase 2 drilling to develop ore targets at Yécora. New gold-silver processing and extraction facilities have been set up recently at the nearby Ocampo, Mulatos and Dolores properties, by Gammon Lake Resources, Alamos Gold, and Minefinders Corp.

Mexivada's 2007 drilling program started in the Brecha Colón and Lupe Alma target areas in the central part of the district, and is working southward through the La Morena - La Rubia silver-gold targets and then will proceed further south to the California - Las Tapias target area, where Spanish miners were reported to have mined gold since the late 1500s. A total of up to ten additional core holes will be drilled at Yécora in 2007 by Mexivada, to prioritize areas of mineralization for subsequent Phase 2 drilling.

2006 Drill Program Details

Nine diamond drill holes were completed in 2006, totaling 1121.5 metres. Assay results received to date are reported below. Most of these holes were moderately spaced reconnaissance holes designed to provide an initial assessment of the Amethyst Ridge, San Francisco North, and Brecha Colón target areas that Mexivada believes have potential to host significant gold systems. Mexivada has not yet drill tested the Maguarichi gold-silver target area, which is located still further north of the San Francisco open cut, where surface gold assays in the 6 to 12 g/t gold range have been reported in surface rock chip-channel sampling.

The Mexivada assay results, listed in the Table below, indicate target segments measured along the length of the drill core, and are not true widths.

Also 200 g/t entsprechen ungefähr 4 g Gold/t + 3 g Gold/t = 7 g/t.

This property is 11 km long and it will take many drill holes to “prove up”. Also, these systems may go down 700 metres vertically and we have just “scratched the top 50-150 metres; deeper holes will be required. We are only just starting.

Also es bleibt spannend.

NEWS RELEASE
MEXIVADA DISCOVERS HOMESTAKE-TYPE GOLD ON ITS MAYOKO PROJECT, REPUBLIC OF CONGO (“ROC”)
Gold Project: Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that is has received significant gold assay results from a Homestake-type auriferous banded iron formation (“BIF”) near Lemagni, in the Mayoko greenstone belt, Republic of Congo-Brazzaville (“ROC”). Mexivada’s president, Richard Redfern, worked at the famous Homestake Mine in South Dakota, which produced more than 1,000 tonnes of gold (+34,000,000 ounces) and yielded a large, high grade open pittable mine. The Homestake gold ores extended and were mined over a 125 year period to depths of more than 2,500 metres below the original Open Cut. Mexivada feels that Mayoko shows strong similarities to Homestake, and that Mayoko holds potential for both open pittable as well as underground gold resources due to these similarities. Mexivada also believes that Mayoko holds excellent potential for the discovery of a large-size gold deposit system network along the trend of the Mayoko belt that could yield several open pittable BIF- and Ghana-type gold deposits with underground mine potential, all of which could be serviced at a central mine processing facility complex similar to those at Carlin, Nevada. More than 33,000 ounces of alluvial gold were mined at Mayoko, including a 1 kilogram gold nugget and 3 large diamonds.

Mexivada has discovered a new mineralized BIF locality at Lemagni, near Mayoko. A spot sample of oxidized, sulphidized BIF (see photo on Mexivada website) returned 1.21 grams per tonne (g/t) Gold (0.035 ounces per ton Au) from a 50 gram assay sample at SGS Labs. This sample comes from a previously unknown area, and is the fourth reported auriferous BIF zone present along a +10 kilometre length and along both flanks of the sheared Mayoko belt. The BIF zones are open along strike to both the west and east, and at Lemagni occur within a 100 to 200 metre wide zone of sulphidation whose length has not yet been determined. Mexivada recently started a cut line by cut line approach to sampling and mapping the 8 by 20+ kilometre long mineral belt. Gold-quartz vein systems also are present in sheared portions of the Mayoko belt, which are being delineated in the exploration program. Mexivada has a crew of 5 geologists/engineers and more than 50 local workers conducting the gold-diamond exploration effort out of its Mayoko headquarters, which has continued successfully throughout the winter rainy season.

Diamond Projects: Mexivada also has been conducting diamond exploration on its Bitsandou exclusive diamond concession, situated east of Mexivada’s Mossendjo field office. Three reported diamondiferous areas are being investigated, at Bikelele, Mahouta, and Carrefour, by surface geologic mapping, alluvial diamond analysis, and kimberlite indicator mineral sampling. Fancy-coloured gem quality diamonds are being found at Bikelele. Mexivada’s Project Chief, Dr. Noel Watha-Ndoudy, reports that new exploration targets have been delineated which will be tested starting next week by track-mounted excavator trenching and sampling. The main target at Bikelele, which is the most advanced of the projects, is for a Snap Lake-type kimberlite dike system that could be sourcing the coloured diamonds found on the property. Mahouta was first delineated (“Grushevidnyi”) by a Russian geo-team in the mid-1960’s from a bank of gravel that was exceptionally enriched in larger-sized diamonds. Carrefour was originally delineated by the BRGM of France, at the intersection of 3 fracture systems. Mexivada will report the results of these diamond exploration efforts in due course.

"Sky is the limit ".
"Doug Casey empfiehlt in seiner neuesten Explorer News Skeena Resources."

Also Vorsicht meine Micky Mouse mit solchen Aussagen.

Feb 09/07 Feb 05/07 Redfern, Richard Robert 10 - Disposition in the public market Common Shares -17,500 $0.813

Also was du dazu schreibst ist ziemlicher Unsinn.

Was bist du dagegen ?

@luetjenboro;)ugh
Weiter so.

:look::look:.

Gruss

EWS RELEASE

NEWS!

Mexivada discovers visible gold zones at Mayoko Project, Republic of Congo
Wednesday March 7, 12:23 pm ET

TSX-V: MNV OTC: MXVDF Frankfurt: M2Q
VANCOUVER, March 7 /CNW/ - Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that visible gold has been found at two localities on its Mayoko gold project, associated with Archean oxide facies banded iron formations. The President of Mexivada, Richard Redfern, just returned from a field trip to examine progress on site at Mexivada's projects in the Republic of Congo ("ROC"), where one of its senior North American consultants is guiding the project work, along with Mexivada's project chief, Dr. Noel Watha-Ndoudy. Mexivada also completed its initial 4-trench program at Bikelele, on its Bitsandou diamond concession, using a large track-mounted excavator.

Visible gold has been found in chlorite-altered, oxide facies, magnetite-hematite rich banded iron formations ("BIF") and associated breccia and vein quartz at the Lemagna and Lekoumou target areas at Mayoko. Samples have been delivered to ALS Laboratories for rush fire assay analysis. Mexivada has just begun work tracing out the Lekoumou target zones along strike to determine their overall potential. Kessi reported highly anomalous gold values of in excess of 4 grams per tonne gold in the area in his PhD dissertation at Mayoko, but the gold potential here has never been scientifically examined prior to Mexivada's present work effort. The Lemagna BIF gold zone, which shows similarities to the famous Homestake Mine BIF gold mineralization in South Dakota (+1,000 tonnes of gold mined at a grade of +8 g/t Au), is being surveyed, mapped and sampled in detail and possible strike extensions are being studied. A third possible en echelon gold-bearing zone has been found to the southwest of Lemagna, where prospectors developed pits and shafts into gold-bearing quartz along a swampy area several hundred metres in length.

Mexivada has examined less than 10 percent of the prospective Mayoko greenstone-BIF gold belt. The company feels that this area holds the potential for the discovery of gold mineralization that could support a large-scale mining operation. A highway and a functioning railroad system run directly through the main project area, near the recently discovered gold zones.

Mexivada's initial program of trenching at Bikelele, on Mexivada's exclusive Bitsandou diamond concession area east of Mossendjo, has been completed. Four trenches were excavated. The main trench was sited over a spot where a 6 carat and 4 carat white diamonds were reported to have been recovered and sold by local family prospectors. No kimberlites were intersected in the program, but several prospectives areas of BIF were uncovered, including sheared zones with breccia mineralization. Samples of these rocks have been submitted to ALS for analysis. The search for possible kimberlites will continue, as Mexivada narrows down the possible areas for their occurrence. Mexivada is also conducting reconnaissance for kimberlites in the nearby Carrefour (BRGM) and new Vouka target areas. Mexivada has a geological/mining engineer and 4 wheel drive vehicle dedicated to this program, based out of Mexivada's new Mossendjo field office complex.

This press release and its contents have been reviewed by Richard R. Redfern, Mexivada's President, who is a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Mexivada Mining Corp - Sleeping (Diamond) Giant waking Up!

by Eric Hommelberg

March 11, 2007

NOTE: This piece is a small update on my piece â?~Mexivada â?" Sleeping (Diamond) Giant of Oct â?~06â?T

Mexivada just broke out of its recent downtrend to the upside. The stock is crawling higher after its latest press release of visible gold zones discovery on its Mayoko project ROC Congo and provides the investor an excellent opportunity to buy or add to their existing position.

Mexivada found visible gold at the Lemagna and Lekoumou target areas at Mayoko. The Lemagna BIF gold zone shows strong similarities to the famous Homestake Mine BIF gold mineralization. The Homestake Mine produced over 35 million ounces of gold. Mexivadaâ?Ts president Richard Redfern (a former senior exploration geologist of Barrick Gold) worked at the famous Homestake Mine. He publicly stated that the Mayoko area is very similar indeed and holds the potential of a world class gold discovery of 15+ million ounces.

Now please digest this carefully, discoveries exceeding 3 million ounces are being considered as world class discoveries and only a very few gold deposits of 15+ million ounces have been found worldwide ever. Once people realize the true blue sky potential of this little gem the stock could literally fly.

Sure enough things have to be proven up but within a year from now weâ?Tll know if the Congo project turned out to be a real winner or not.

It doesnâ?Tt stop here, besides the gold excitement Mexivada is hunting for diamonds on its Mayoko and Bitsandou properties as well. Many macro diamonds have already been retrieved from the properties over the years (over 50+ recently, which can be seen on Mexivadaâ?Ts website), and the fact is that one of central Africaâ?Ts largest gem diamonds ever produced was mined from Mexivadaâ?Ts permit area. Diamonds of such large size and sharp edges simply donâ?Tt travel that far from their original sources, and thus may be from hidden kimberlite pipes or dikes in the permit areas.

At this very moment Mexivada is trenching the permit area in search for those kimberlite pipes, discovery of such kimberlites could spark a new round of excitement in this stock as well. Mexivada also has found alluvial corundum (pink sapphire) deposits in both areas, and is evaluating those for gem potential.

Itâ?Ts obvious that Congo hosts Mexivadaâ?Ts most prominent project now but that doesnâ?Tt mean that Mexivadaâ?Ts Nevada and Mexican projects are obsolete. On the contrary, Mexivadaâ?Ts Nevada and Mexican projects could generate enough excitement on their own to get this stock moving. Mexivada at this moment is generating rapid new 2007 drill results at its Yecora, Mexico project that will be reported on soon. In order to protect these projects (against a hostile take over bid from a company that wants to own Mexivadaâ?Ts Congo or Mexico projects) Mexivada is seriously considering to spin off the Congo projects into a separate entity.

This simply means that current Mexivada share holders will receive an additional share of the new entity as well thereby ending up owning shares of two companies instead of one. (see Mexivada coverage by Brian Truscott of DOW JONES Newswires. )

In short, this company has truly blue sky potential since its ridiculously low market cap of less than $13 million could explode to the upside on any significant discovery (whether it gold or diamonds). A market cap exceeding $100 million seems therefore not a matter if but more likely a matter of when. Within a year from now we know if this little gem did live up to its own expectation indeed or not. My guess is it will!

Already coming months we are likely going to see a glimpse of Mexivadaâ?Ts future since we can expect a lot of upcoming news. Mexivada is currently:

Drilling its Yecora property Mexico, new drill results expected soon
Trenching its Congo diamond project in search for kimberlite pipes
Studying the possible strike extension of the (Homestake similar) Lemagna BIF gold zone at Mayoko Congo
Preparing for drilling its Gold Junction and Poker Flats properties in Nevada. Drilling will commence as soon as Mexivada can obtain a drill rig (which is expected very shortly)
We will follow up upon the activities mentioned above and publish a more detailed report on all Mexivadaâ?Ts current activities coming month (for paying members only)

Stay tuned,

Best Regards,

Richard Redfern's Mexivada Mining Corp. is developing a diamond twist on its gold plays in the Republic of Congo (ROC), which it plans to explore this year with trenching and mini-bulk sampling. Most diamond explorers are concentrating their efforts in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Angola, but alluvial diamonds have been turning up farther west and north of the main diamond corridors.

The plan

Mexivada has three main properties in the southwestern portion of the ROC, just southeast of Gabon and about 375 kilometres northwest of Brazzaville. The Malambani permit area, the most northerly project, and the Bitsandou block, Mexivada's middle property, are both yielding intriguing diamond results.

Mr. Redfern said the company had completed sampling on its Malambani permit in its quest for gold, but the company planned to test the material for kimberlite indictor minerals as well, based on a number of large alluvial diamonds that turned up in the area. The company believes the gems came from ancient, still undiscovered kimberlites that could be among the oldest bodies in the world.

Mexivada plans to trench up larger samples of material this year on the Malambani property, as well as in the Bitsandou region, once the rainy season ends in May. The dry spell typically lasts into October, giving the company several months to trench up its samples.

Mexivada hopes to trench into some kimberlites to prove its theory, but it has a better chance of producing alluvial diamonds from its program. In particular, the company thinks an area about three kilometres square on the Bitsandou property could be a highland source region for diamonds.

Mr. Redfern said the company had a budget of $600,000 for the program, but he said it would likely add to its plans, bringing its spending for the year close to $1-million. Cash is not a major worry, as the company has $1.8-million in the bank, but its president added that Mexivada would soon be looking to top up its treasury.

The encouragement

Historically, most of the diamonds in south-central Africa came from the DRC and Angola. Unfortunately, those countries also had an abundance of gun-toting rebels, warlords and hoodlums throughout much of the past 30 years. Mr. Redfern said the ROC was a civilized country by comparison that was a safe place in which to work.

His peaceful spin is optimistic, as the ROC experienced civil conflict through the late 1990s and the last rebel group standing did not lay down its arms until 2003 -- about the same time its neighbours also declared peace. The ROC has had better success than its neighbours have, and the United States government finds little to warn its citizens about travel in the country, at least away from the border the country shares with the DRC.

Mr. Redfern said the Bitsandou area yielded "quite a number of alluvial diamonds of a good size." Along with several white gems, a blue-green diamond weighing about 0.15 carat supports Mexivada's hopes that any diamond deposit in the area would yield gems with a significant value. The company believes the stone came from a local kimberlite source, rather than tumbling its way on a long trip from the DRC.

The company draws similar encouragement on its northern prospect, where a 22-millimetre gem sold for enough to pay 200 miners for nearly a year. The property produced some other large diamonds, including one that weighed five carats. The area surrounding Mexivada's southernmost property, the Nzambi permit, yielded over 13,000 carats of diamonds in the past, but the stones were largely boart, comparable with the Mbuji-Mayi region of the DRC.

Mexivada closed up a dime to 80 cents Thursday on 552,500 shares.

Mexivada discovers probable source of Malambani alluvial gold, Mayoko Project, Republic of Congo
Mon Mar 19, 9:05 AM

VANCOUVER, March 19 /CNW/ - Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that continued field work in the Malambani project area, near Mayoko in the Republic of Congo ("ROC"), has led to the discovery of outcropping quartz-gold mineralization across a 1.5 kilometre length of an east-northeast trending master fault along the Bilala River, where it was reported that large gold nuggets of 70 grams to 1 kilogram in weight were alluvial-mined in the past. The Avoine Company mined 33,000 ounces of alluvial gold and several large gem quality diamonds (to 22 millimetres in diameter) from this area after World War 2. Fault zones of similar age and orientation controlled the emplacement of diamond pipes in Angola and in the Mbuji-Mayi diamond mining region of the adjoining Kasai province in the DRC Congo. Mbuji-Mayi is the world's largest diamond deposit.

The Bilala River gold zone is 2.5 by 4.5 kilometres in size, and is located 7 to 10 kilometers southwest of the gold zone in banded iron formation at Lemagna, described in Mexivada's press release dated March 7, 2007. Gold-quartz veining has now been found in scattered outcrops in and along the Bilala and Babounga Rivers, along at least a 1.5 km length of the poorly exposed, east-northeast trending Bilala fault system. The gold appears to be associated with 2 to 5 cm wide quartz-gold veinlets in the fault system, cutting amphibolite, quartzite and more iron-rich metasediments. The width of the fault system(s) has not yet been determined due to the sparse outcrops along the river channels. Local prospectors report that gold nuggets weighing up to 70 grams previously were found near the gold-bearing outcrops studied by the Mexivada field teams, suggesting that these fault zones were the source of the large nuggets found previously. Samples have been collected for assay and microscope analysis, which will be reported upon soon by Mexivada.

Mexivada also is evaluating several river channels for alluvial gold concentrations at Mayoko. A 3.5 kilometre long stretch of the Bilala-Babounga River system, which is approximately 100 metres wide, contains gravels that are reported to contain unrecovered mineable gold. Pitting of these gravels by local "orpailleur" miners suggests the local presence of gravels that carry up to 3 grams per cubic metre of gold. One gold-rich area at Kongodou was sampled by Mexivada personnel, who recovered 1 gram of alluvial gold from 4 litres of river alluvium in a pit. Outcrops of gold-bearing metasedimentary rocks were found to occur over a significant area near this pit. These locations are being posted to a map on the Mexivada website.

In 2007 to date, the Mexivada field teams have cut more than 181 kilometers of sampling lines across the trend of the Mayoko greenstone belt, on which greater than 462 soil samples and greater than 176 stream sediment samples have been collected at Malambani, in search of both gold- and primary diamond deposits. Three places have been found recently where alluvial concentrations of blue, pink and black corundum, spinel (?), platy ilmenite, and possible pyrope or rhodolite garnets have been found. The stream sediment samples are being analyzed for gold, diamonds, and kimberlite indicator minerals, and the soil samples are being analyzed for metals and diamonds through fire assays and Mobile Metal Ion ("MMI") geochemistry.

No mineral resources, as defined by C.I.M. or other organizations, have been defined by Mexivada for any of its target areas in the Malambani permits area. The historic information provided is for reference only and the reader should not infer or assert that the information is correct, reliable, relevant or accurate and should not be relied upon.

This press release and its contents have been reviewed by Richard R. Redfern, Mexivada's President, who is a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Drilling Contractor secured for Gold Junction and Poker Flats; Nevada update
Thursday March 29, 12:38 pm ET

TSX-V: MNV OTC: MXVDF Frankfurt: M2Q
VANCOUVER, March 29 /CNW/ - Mexivada Mining Corp. has entered into a contractual agreement with an experienced drilling contractor, who will begin Phase 1 reverse-circulation ("RC") drilling in April on the Company's Gold Junction and Poker Flats projects in Nevada. The drill holes will have depths of approximately 50 to 200 metres to gold targets at both properties.

Gold Junction, Nevada Gold Project: Mexivada will begin drilling first on its near-surface "OP" open pit gold target and other nearby gold targets at Gold Junction, with an initial 4-hole program. The "OP" zone is an interpreted bedrock block in pediment alluvium that is large enough to be of mine size if it is gold-mineralized. Pieces of silica mineralized "float rock" are present here on the surface. "OP" was defined by detailed gravity surveys conducted for Mexivada. The company has received permit approval for a 30 hole drilling program on up to 20 drill sites at Gold Junction, which is located just north of the Gold Hill Mine of Barrick-Kinross-Nevada Star and the +11,000,000 ounce Round Mountain gold mine owned by Barrick-Kinross.

Poker Flats, Nevada Gold Project: Mexivada will continue the RC drilling on its two near-surface open pit gold target areas at Poker Flats, with an initial 4-hole program in search of Carlin-style sediment-hosted gold mineralization. Detailed ground gravity and soil gas geochemistry surveys were completed recently at Poker Flats. These surveys delineated an untested, apparently major northeast-trending fault structure in the southern, "Bullion Periphery" target area that could have been a conduit for Carlin-style mineralizing fluids. Mexivada will begin its drilling program at Poker Flats with the testing of this target area. Poker Flats is located immediately south of Newmont Mining Corporation's +1,000,000 ounce Emigrant Springs open pit heap leach gold property, which is permitted and ready for mine development.

Ziggurat, Nevada Gold Project: An additional 166 claims have been staked and filed on the Ziggurat gold property, which is situated just south of Newmont's Northumberland Mine gold project area. Additional mapping and sampling has been conducted in 2007 at Ziggurat, as well as a new detailed ground gravity survey that defined additional gold target areas. The new gold targets are shown on Mexivada's website. Permitting for drilling is now underway.

Opal Spring, Nevada Gold-Uranium-Molybdenum Project: An additional 59 claims have been staked and filed on the Opal Spring property, which is situated east of the Carlin and Jerritt Canyon gold districts and on the western edge of the Utah-Wyoming uranium province. Additional mapping and sampling was conducted in late 2006 and in 2007 at Opal Spring, which has led to the discovery of a new Bald Mountain-type gold prospect area, to the north of gold mineralization previously explored by Gold Fields in the 1980's. Volcanic-related, sediment-hosted uranium-molybdenum mineralization in this area is also being investigated by Mexivada, whose President completed his Master's thesis here in the 1970s. The uranium mineralization discovered to date in the Opal Spring area occurs in sheared, decalcified Paleozoic limy sedimentary rocks that also were mineralized by earlier gold-bearing solutions. Mapping and target delineation work will continue here in 2007.

Cottonwood-Freiberg, Nevada Gold Project: Mexivada controls unpatented lode claims in the Cottonwood-Freiberg area of Lincoln County, Nevada. This group of old gold and rare metal mines (e.g. tungsten and molybdenum) are situated along a major north-northwest trending basement fault network system that appears to join together with the Cortez Trend basement fault system near Eureka. Several moderate to higher grade gold-silver mines were developed here in the 1800s and early 1900s, and an open pit heap leach gold mine was developed briefly on the property by Merlin Mining Company in the 1980's. Little modern exploration has been conducted in the area. Mexivada is exploring here for Carlin- and Cortez-type sediment hosted gold mineralization, and for rare metal tungsten-enriched skarns. The same mineralized rock units are present here as at Barrick's new Ruby Hill gold mine near Eureka, such as the favorable lower part of the Pogonip Limestone, which never appears to have been drill tested here previously. Mapping and target delineation will continue at Cottonwood-Freiberg in 2007.

Moly Dome, Nevada Molybdenum-Gold Project: Mexivada controls 47 claims at Moly Dome, which is located in Elko County northwest of the Jerritt Canyon mining district. Moly Dome has outcropping, moderate grade molybdenum-gold mineralization exposed at the surface, and never has had a modern exploration or drilling program conducted on it. Pits and a shallow, now-caved shaft were excavated by early prospectors, and one possible shallow churn hole may have been drilled by Anaconda on the property prior to 1962. No old data from these efforts has been found by the company. Regional gravity and magnetic geophysical data suggest the presence of a possibly large porphyry molybdenum system on the property, cut by a later gold-quartz mineral system of unknown size and origin. Mapping, sampling, and brief soil gas geochemical testing were conducted here by Mexivada in 2006. Negotiations for better access to the property continue with the local ranch landowners. Target analysis and delineation will continue at Moly Dome in 2007.

This press release and its contents have been reviewed by Richard R. Redfern, Mexivada's President, who is a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

The Gold Discovery Letter (www.golddrivers.com) by Eric Hommelberg sent out email today that 3 new companies are added to their top-10. So actually it is top-13 now.
Mexivada is one of those three additions.
They did not yet comment this stockpick, but promised to do so in the near future.

In 5 Monaten gerade mal 10 Löcher in Yecora gedrillt.

Mexivada discovers probable source of Malambani alluvial gold, Mayoko Project, Republic of Congo

shares issued: 23 million
market cap: $17 million

Latest news:

Mexivada announced on April 18 the completion of its 18 hole drill program at its Yecora gold/silver project Mexico and is awaiting results. So are investors, results can come out anytime..

Furthermore Mexivada will commence drilling its Gold Junction project Nevada on its near-surface open pit target anytime soon (expected before the end of May). Straight afterwards Mexivada will continue the drilling on its two near-surface open pit gold target areas at Poker Flats.

Last but not least the company recently stated to have found gold outcrops over a 13 km strike length on its Mayoko gold/diamond project Congo, yes, 13 km!

Background:

Mexivada is a well financed junior exploration company which controls gold, silver, diamond, uranium, and molybdenum properties in Nevada, Mexico, and Africa and headed by Rick Redfern, a former senior exploration geologist of Barrick Gold. It's most important projects are:

ROC - Mayoko Gold/Diamond

Mexico - Yecora Gold/Silver

Nevada Gold Junction - Gold

Nevada Poker Flats - Gold

Nevada Jefferson - Gold/Silver

Nevada Molydome - Molybdenum

ROC - Mayoko Gold/Diamond project

Mexivada's flagship is without doubt its Mayoko gold/diamond project Congo. On March 19 Mexivada reported to have discovered the probable source of alluvial mined gold nuggets of 70 g to 1 kg in the past. They discovered outcropping quartz-gold mineralization across a 1.5 kilometre length where it was reported these large gold nuggets had been found. Mexivada's geologists report over and over again to have found visible gold on the Mayoko greenstone belt. The company just recently updated its website and stated to have found gold outcrops over a 13 km strike length.

Mexivada's president Rick Redfern sees striking similarities with the famous Homestake mine (Redfern worked at the Homestake mine) which produced over 35 million ounces of gold and publicly stated that the Mayoko greenstone belt has the potential for a world class gold discovery of 15+ million ounces.

Besides the gold excitement Mexivada is hunting for diamonds on its Mayoko and Bitsandou properties as well. Many macro diamonds have already been retrieved from the properties over the years (over 50+ recently, which can be seen on Mexivada's website), and the fact is that one of central Africaâ?Ts largest gem diamonds ever produced was mined from Mexivada's permit area. Diamonds of such large size and sharp edges simply donâ?Tt travel that far from their original sources, and thus may be from hidden kimberlite pipes or dikes in the permit areas.

Mexico - Yecora Gold/Silver project

Mexivadaâ?Ts Mexican flagship is without doubt its Yécora project. Yécora is situated in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental (SMO) which hosts many world class deposits of gold and silver at Ocampo (Gammon Lake Resources), Mulatos (Alamos Gold), Palmarejo (Palmarejo-Bolnisi), Dolores (Minefinders) and El Sauzal (Glamis Gold). The Sierra Madre Trend will be Mexicoâ?Ts biggest gold and silver producer within a few years from now. The property is surrounded by a large concession owned by Bolnisi Gold, NL, the majority owner of the Palmarejo silver-gold deposit. Large-cap Aussie Bolnisi Gold also controls three small concessions within Mexivada's concession holdings.

Yécora already returned significant gold/silver grades but again, investors donâ?Tt have to wait for that long in order to find out Yécoraâ?Ts true potential since Mexivada already finished a 18 hole drill program and is awaiting the results.

Nevada:

Mexivada owns six gold-silver properties in Nevada and one uranium and one molybdenum property there.. Major points of interest:

Mexivadaâ?Ts Jeffersonâ?Ts project contains two drill defined bodies of gold-silver mineralization that could host a resource base of more than 15 million ounces of silver and 100.000 ounces of gold.

This estimate was made by Richard A. Jeanne, a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Jeanne characterized this body of rock as a mineable reserve in his report to Copper Range Exploration Company entitled "The Economic Geology of the Jefferson Volcanics Project, Nye County, Nevada."

Although the above figures arenâ?Tt NI 43-101 compliant yet, it surely underscores the potential out there. Another encouraging sign is that in May last year a tremendous gold nugget of 55 pounds was found near the border of Mexivadaâ?Ts Jefferson property in the Round Mountain Mine. In addition, recent detailed geophysical work by Mexivada has generated new large scale, possibly skarn-related exploration targets around the periphery of Jeffersonâ?Ts Porphyry Hill area (see the Mexivada website), which were defined by a ground magnetometry survey.

Furthermore Mexivada will commence drilling its Gold Junction project Nevada on its near-surface open pit target anytime soon (expected before end of May). Straight afterwards Mexivada will continue the drilling on its two near-surface open pit gold target areas at Poker Flats.

Technical view:

Mexivada finds itself in a down trend since mid March. The stock needs to breach its down-trend (A-line) to the upside befor it flashes a 'BUY' again. Investors should be focussed on new company news which is expected shortly (see section important upcoming events). The technicals MACD and RSI are neutral while the slow stocahastic indicator just bouncd back from a slight overbought condition.

Current rating should be considered as a 'HOLD' ...

Important upcoming events:

Mexivada announced on April 18 the completion of its 18 hole drill program at its Yecora gold/silver project Mexico and is awaiting results. So are investors, results can come out anytime..

Furthermore Mexivada will commence drilling its Gold Junction project Nevada on its near-surface open pit target anytime soon (expected before end of May). Straight afterwards Mexivada will continue the drilling on its two near-surface open pit gold target areas at Poker Flats.

NEWS RELEASE

Mexivada Intersects 22.3 g/t Gold, 1,640 g/t Silver and High Grade Zinc-LeadMineralization at Yécora, Sonora, Mexico

Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce results from the last 13 holes of its 19-hole Phase 1 core drilling program at its Yécora gold-silver-zinc-lead project that include significant gold-silver mineralization along with significant values of zinc, lead, and copper.

The Yécora area has mineralization exposed along an 11-kilometre long trend, located in the Mulatos-Ocampo sector of the Sierra Madre Occidental mineral province in Sonora, Mexico. Mexivada has received drilling assay results from the southern part of the project area at Yécora. Drill core from the northern gold/silver-rich part of this area contains uncut assay grades of up to 22.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (0.65 ounces per ton Au) and 1,640 g/t silver (47.9 ounces per ton Ag) over a 0.5 metre drill core interval, which represents a Gold Equivalent of 57.55 g/t Au. The main interval at Lupe Alma was 22 metres long, and contained a high-grade core-length intercept with 6 metres that averaged 4.58 g/t Au, 282.7 g/t Ag, and 0.28% lead, starting at 60 metres, a Gold Equivalent of 10.79 g/t Au.

A 23.5 metre drill core interval at the Cumbrita-4 target area yielded 1.12 g/t Au, 54.4 g/t Ag, 0.12% lead, and 0.22% zinc, starting at 170 metres, a Gold Equivalent of 2.75 g/t Au. The Cumbrita-4 hole contained a high-grade core-length intercept with 2 metres that averaged 5.97 g/t Au, 282.7 g/t Ag, 0.38% lead, and 0.39% zinc, a Gold Equivalent of 12.21 g/t Au.

Besides the significant gold-silver mineralization, Mexivada encountered significant base metal rich parts of the system that yielded drill intercepts with up to 5.13% zinc, 5.74% lead and 26.1 g/t silver over a 2 metre drill core interval in the Puerto Rico sector of the Yécora property, a Gold Equivalent of 16.5 g/t Au. This southernmost part of the project area may contain a skarn or replacement zinc-lead-silver target along the margin of the dioritic body that cored the center of the domed Yécora Caldera. High values of molybdenum of up to 0.19% MoS2 also are present locally in this area.

The assay results are interpreted to indicate two different generations of metal systems at Yécora:

1. Gold-silver- rich vein systems that are low in base metals, and

2. Veins and possible base metal skarn and replacement massive sulfide mineralization that are

enriched in zinc, lead, and lesser copper, gold, silver, and molybdenum.

Background:

Mexivada’s Yécora Gold/Silver project is located in the Mulatos-Ocampo sector of the Sierra Madre Occidental mineral province in Sonora, Mexico and has mineralization exposed along an 11-kilometre long trend. Mexivada believes that significant target potentials exist on the Yécora property for both types of these metal systems, but insufficient drilling has been conducted to date to enable definition of the nature of the metal resources or the geometries of the base metal rich rock bodies.

Epithermal mineralization at the nearby Ocampo Mine extends to depths of approximately 700 metres and many of the target areas at Yécora are believed to be near the tops of the original mineral systems, at the exposed contacts of the Upper Rhyolites with the Lower Andesites.

Assay results:

The assays in the first table below are from holes drilled in 2007, south of the open cut / underground San Francisco gold-silver-lead-zinc mine, which is controlled by Bolnisi Gold, N.L., whose concessions totally surround and lie partly within Mexivada’s 1,109 hectare property position at Yécora. Coeur d’Alene Mines (NYSE:CDE) recently made an offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares of Bolnisi Gold.

Note: All sample preparation and assays were performed by ALS Chemex Laboratories in Hermosillo, Sonora and Vancouver, BC using standard fire assaying protocols. Silver and base metal values were determined by using 4-acid, near total digestions and induction-coupled plasma geochemical analyses (ME-MS61).

Phase 1 Exploration Objectives Achieved

Exploration targets were reached in 8 of the 9 holes drilled in 2007 along a 7 kilometre length of the exposed vein systems. The vein- and breccia mineralization intersected by Mexivada had core lengths of 0.5 to 23.5 metres. Certain of the drill holes may not have been deep enough to test base metal targets in the southern portion of the 2007 work area, as these targets were discovered during the course of this drilling program. Mexivada will now study the geology revealed by the new drilling to generate new drilling targets for future work on the Yécora property.

Mexivada's objective in its 2006/07 program was to drill test the 11 Km. strike length and down-dip extensions of known, fault-controlled gold-silver mineralization and possible skarn-replacement zones of precious metal- and zinc-lead-silver-(gold-copper-molybdenum) enriched mineralization demonstrated by earlier mining and by surface exploration conducted by Mexivada and others. Mexivada’s goal for the Phase 1 drilling project at Yécora was to define the location of significant bodies of mineralization that could be proven up by later Phase 2 drilling to develop ore targets. New gold-silver processing and extraction facilities have been set up recently at the nearby Palmarejo, Ocampo, Mulatos and Dolores properties, by Bolnisi, Gammon Lake Resources, Alamos Gold, and Minefinders Corp.

The Company has implemented a quality assurance and control (QA/QC) program to ensure sampling and analysis of all exploration work is conducted in accordance with the best possible practices. The drill core is sawn in half with half of the core samples shipped to ALS Chemex Laboratory Services in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico for sample preparation and analysis. The other half of the core is retained in secure custody at the Mexivada office in Yécora for future assay verification. The company QA/QC policy includes the chain of custody monitoring, insertion of blanks, standards and duplicates in the initial samples submitted. The laboratory provides an additional internal control program.

The Company's President and CEO, Richard R. Redfern, M.Sc. and Certified Professional Geologist, is a 'qualified person' for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Properties and has verified the data (including sampling, analytical and test data) and has supervised the preparation of the information contained in this news release.

Mal abwarten, was in den nächsten Wochen passiert - gut Ding will Weile haben ;)

Hier wurde also schon vorher gegraben.

Mexivada Mobilizes for Drilling in Nevada at Gold Junction; Moly Dome Geophysical Program to begin in late June

VANCOUVER, Jun 6, 2007 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --
TSX-V: MNV

OTC: MXVDF

Frankfurt: M2Q

VANCOUVER, June 6 /CNW/ - Drilling Projects: Mexivada Mining Corp. has begun mobilization for Phase 1 reverse-circulation ("RC") drilling at its Gold Junction, Nevada property with its contractor, Jessmarc Exploration LLC. The drill holes will have depths of approximately 50 to 200 metres to gold targets, testing for Round Mountain/Gold Hill type open pittable epithermal gold targets. Upon completion of the Gold Junction program, Mexivada plans to drill its Poker Flats Carlin-style sediment-hosted open pittable gold targets near Carlin, Nevada. Mexivada expects to drill a total of at least 8 holes in this Phase 1 program. The drill samples will be delivered to and assayed by ISO-certified ALS Chemex Laboratories in Elko and Reno, Nevada.

Moly Dome, Nevada Molybdenum-Copper-Gold Project: Mexivada controls 47 lode mining claims at Moly Dome, located 120 kilometers north-northwest of Elko, in the Edgemont Mining District. Moly Dome has outcropping, moderately high grade molybdenum mineralization exposed at the surface. Copper and Gold-silver mineralization also are present on the property, in the same area as the molybdenum, but may be separate mineralizing pulses. Hand samples contained up to 0.359% MoS2, along with anomalous values of rhenium. Yellow-brownish vein quartz with abundant blebby azurite and malachite also was found recently at the surface, suggesting the presence of copper mineralization at depth. Mexivada conducted geologic mapping, sampling, and brief soil gas geochemical testing here in 2006, and just completed detailed geological mapping and sampling of the main target areas. Rock chip samples in 2006 returned local anomalous values of gold to 0.16 gram per tonne (gpt Au) and to 64.6 gpt silver.

Mexivada has contracted with Durango Geophysical Operations of Durango, Colorado to conduct an Induced Polarization survey across the porphyry target area at Moly Dome later this month. Regional gravity and magnetic geophysical data suggest the presence of a large plutonic intrusive body(ies) at a shallow depth below the surface at Moly Dome, possibly associated with a porphyry moly-copper system that would be cut by a later gold-quartz mineral system of unknown size and origin. Small pods of argillicly to phyllicly altered intrusive rocks are found locally at the surface, in Paleozoic hornfelsed slate-phyllite and quartzite. The target at Moly Dome is a large, open pittable Climax/Henderson- or Robinson-type porphyry molybdenum-copper deposit, with a cross-cutting gold silver system, perhaps similar to that present at Golden Phoenix' Ashdown molybdenum-gold mine, which is located 225 kilometres west of Moly Dome.

Mexivada has begun permitting for the proposed drilling program at Moly Dome with the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management. If the permits are in place, Mexivada plans to drill Moly Dome in late summer 2007, upon completion of its drill program at Poker Flats.

Mexivada Options to Purchase High Grade La Republica Silver-Au-Zn-Pb Mine near Y Decora, in Chihuahua, Mexico

VANCOUVER, July 9 /CNW/ - Mexivada Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that it has executed a 4-year license to conduct exploration with an option to purchase a 100 percent interest in the La Republica Mine property in Chihuahua, Mexico, 12 kilometres south of Mexivada's Y Decora property. La Republica was reported to have been the highest grade silver producer in Mexico at the time of its closure in 1911 due to the advent of the Mexican Revolution. By 1909 the mine was reported to have produced more than 10,000,000 ounces of silver, at high grades. The average mill head grade of ore above the 166 foot (50.6 metre; "m") level, calculated in late 1906, was 132.6 ounces per ton silver (4.54 kg/ton Ag), trace gold, 4.0 percent (%) zinc, and 0.8% lead. Ore metal recoveries were good, presumably due to the coarse grain sizes of the contained argentite, native silver, silver-zinc sulfide minerals, and visible gold. The mine was re-opened in 1937-1938 for brief, renewed mine production from the surface down to the 110 foot (33.5 metre) level, before the main stope collapsed due to the removal of high-grade roof-support pillars. The main stope appears to never have been mined below the 300 foot (91.46 m) level of the mine, the lowest level of exploratory drifting and stope development. A 99 metre deep vertical shaft was sunk and a crosscut driven toward the Republica Vein on the 81 metre, before 1911, and these workings may be refurbishable for use in a new mining operation. Maps and a photograph of the old La Republica mine and plant are being posted on Mexivada's website at www.mexivada.com.

Engineering summaries and longitudinal sections dated January 15, 1907 and May 16, 1908 of this portion of the Republica Vein reported an average 12 foot (3.66 m) vein width on the 300 foot level that assayed an average of 175 ounces per ton silver (5.99 kg/tonne Ag) along a 111 foot (33.8 m) horizontal length of the north drift. This section indicates that the Republica vein thickened to that depth, from a vein width of 1.66 metres near the surface.

The Republica vein is 1.1 to 2 metres wide in exploration adits situated 350 feet (106.7 m) to the north of the main shaft, shows the presence of argentite, and has reported channel sample assay values of up to 2.65 kg per tonne silver across a 1.58 metre vein width. The La Republica mineral system remains open to the north and to the south of this mined and studied part of the area, and the vein was reported to occur along a strike length of 2 kilometres.

Local visible gold has been reported in the La Republica Mine, and veining at the surface appears to indicate 3 or 4 pulses of mineralization, with the high-grade silver event perhaps having been the last pulse. One early, brecciated phase of yellowish vein quartz looks similar to gold-mineralized vein quartz to the north at Mexivada's Y Decora project. The property vendor reported that his two assay samples of the 5.5 foot (1.66 metre) wide vein on the 13 m level that he excavated in 1997, just north of the old mine workings, contained a) 497 g/tonne silver and b) 1 kg/ton silver and 1.0 g/ton gold in the latter sample.

Mexivada is preparing for mobilization of a core drilling rig to the site by Landdrill International in approximately 4 weeks, to test the La Republica mine area. Mexivada's initial drillholes will test the downdip extension of the main La Republica stope below the 300 foot mine level, as well as the northern and southern extensions of the Republica vein system. Mexivada has initiated a program of surveying, sampling, and mapping of the La Republica property. Neither the company nor the property vendor is aware of any exploration drillholes that have tested or penetrated the Republica vein system.

The business plan of Mexivada for the Republica-Y Decora project is to define enough mine potential through core drilling at La Republica and Y Decora to indicate the possible feasibility of combining the two areas into a coherent mining unit system that could be developed jointly through a central mine plant complex servicing these two close-together properties. Mexivada then would look for an experienced mining partner to help in development of a gold-silver mine on the properties.

The La Republica mine property that Mexivada optioned consists of two 50-year mining exploitation concessions totaling 55.6043 hectares, granted by the Mexican federal government. The property vendor had previously conducted drifting and winzing exploration using these permits, and had valid blasting permits issued as well. The surface rights to the property are owned privately by local ranchers, with whom Mexivada has obtained permission to enter and conduct work. These two concessions enclose the known mine workings at La Republica. Mexivada has acquired the option to acquire La Republica for a purchase price of US$2,000,000.00, payable in increasing installments over a 4-year period, subject to a 1 percent net smelter return royalty that may be purchased at any time for the sum of US$1,250,000.00. A production bonus of $1,000,000 is to be paid to the vendors nine months after the start of commercial mine production in excess of 5,000 tonnes of ore. A finder's fee is being paid to a third party. All agreements were made pursuant to the guidelines of the TSX Venture Exchange.

These production data, assays and figures are presented herein merely as items of historical interest and should not be construed as being representative of actual resources present on the concessions at La Republica optioned by Mexivada. No mineral resources or Mineral Reserves, as defined by C.I.M. or other organizations, have been defined by Mexivada for any of its targets at La Republica.

The Company's President and CEO, Richard R. Redfern, M.Sc. and Certified Professional Geologist, a 'qualified person' for the purposes on National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Properties, has verified the information (including maps, sampling, and analytical test data) and evaluated the interpretations contained in this news release.

Mexivada Acquires High Grade Silver Mine La Republica Mexico.

The La Republica Silver Mine has never been drill tested below 300 ft. Encountered Silver grades at 300 ft depth are 6000 g/t silver over 33.8 metres. Mexivada will drill test the La Republica vein just below the 300 ft level within 4 weeks from now.

shares issued: 26 million
market cap: $18 million

current rating: 'BUY'

Mexivada just broke its 4 month down-trend to the upside on impressive news today concerning the acquisition of the La Republica Mine property in Chihuahua, Mexico, 12 kilometres south of Mexivada's Yécora property. This break-out therefore provides the investor a unique opportunity to buy or add to their exisiting positions.

The La Republica Mine was reported to have been the highest grade silver producer in Mexico at the time of its closure in 1911 due to the advent of the Mexican Revolution. By 1909 the mine was reported to have produced more than 10,000,000 ounces of silver, at high grades but the Republica vein system never has been drill tested below the 300 foot level. This is exactly what makes this project so attractive since engineering studies reported silver grades of up to 6000 g/t over 33.8 metres at the 300 foot level. This indicates that the Republica vein is thickening from near surface to the 300 foot depth level (near surface vein width is 1.66 metres).

Mexivada is fast tracking this project and is preparing already for mobilization of a core drilling rig to the site by Landdrill International in approximately 4 weeks, to test the La Republica mine area. Mexivada's initial drillholes will test the downdip extension of the main La Republica stope below the 300 foot mine level, as well as the northern and southern extensions of the Republica vein system.

La Republica Highlights:

The La Republica project has never been drill tested before at depths deeper than 300 ft

Encountered silver grades at 300 ft depth are 6000 g/t

Vein below 300 ft will be drill tested within 4 weeks from now

Also visible gold present at La Republica

The La Republica mineral system remains open to the north and to the south of this mined and studied part of the area, and the vein was reported to occur along a strike length of 2 kilometres

So interesting times ahead for Mexivada, they have their drill rigs turning on its Gold Junction open pit gold target Nevada which will be followed shortly by drilling Mexivada's other open pit gold target on Poker Flats Nevada and the Republica project Mexico.

Technical view:

Mexivada just broke out of its 4 months down-trend to the upside. Its first price objective now is 1 CAD$ (measured move from break-out wedge formation). Downside risk is extremely low due to the recent surge in gold shares in general on top of this remarkable acquisition news.

Mexivada Mobilizes for Drilling in Nevada at Gold Junction; Moly Dome Geophysical Program to begin in late June
Wednesday June 6, 9:30 am ET

Mexivada Mining Corp. has begun mobilization for Phase 1 reverse-circulation ("RC") drilling at its Gold Junction, Nevada property.

Editors note: Drilling on Gold Junction is already well underway

Moly Dome, Nevada Molybdenum-Copper-Gold Project:

Mexivada controls 47 lode mining claims at Moly Dome, located 120 kilometers north-northwest of Elko, in the Edgemont Mining District.

Editors note: The Moly Dome Geophysical program will start before July 15, 2007

Mexivada Options to Purchase High Grade La Republica Silver-Au-Zn-Pb Mine near Yécora, in Chihuahua, Mexico

ABOUT MEXIVADA AND ITS PROJECTS:

Mexivada is a well financed junior exploration company which controls gold, silver, diamond, uranium, and molybdenum properties in Nevada, Mexico, and Africa and headed by Rick Redfern, a former senior exploration geologist of Barrick Gold. It's most important projects are:

ROC - Mayoko Gold/Diamond
Mexico â?" La Republica Silver/Gold
Mexico - Yecora Silver/Gold

Many macro diamonds have already been retrieved from the properties over the years (over 50+ recently, which can be seen on Mexivada's website), and the fact is that one of central Africa's largest gem diamonds ever produced was mined from Mexivada's permit area. Diamonds of such large size and sharp edges simply don't travel that far from their original sources, and thus may be from hidden kimberlite pipes or dikes in the permit areas.

Mexico â?" La Republica Silver/Gold project

See above

Mexico - Yecora Silver/Gold project

Yécora is situated in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental (SMO) which hosts many world class deposits of gold and silver at Ocampo (Gammon Lake Resources), Mulatos (Alamos Gold), Palmarejo (Palmarejo-Bolnisi), Dolores (Minefinders) and El Sauzal (Glamis Gold). The Sierra Madre Trend will be Mexico's biggest gold and silver producer within a few years from now. The property is surrounded by a large concession owned by Bolnisi Gold, NL, the majority owner of the Palmarejo silver-gold deposit. Large-cap Aussie Bolnisi Gold also controls three small concessions within Mexivada's concession holdings.

Yécora already returned significant gold/silver grades but again, investors don't have to wait for that long in order to find out Yécora's true potential since Mexivada already finished a 18 hole drill program and is awaiting the results.

NEVADA:

Mexivada owns six gold-silver properties in Nevada and one uranium and one molybdenum property there.. Major points of interest:

Jefferson:

Mexivada's Jefferson's project contains two drill defined bodies of gold-silver mineralization that could host a resource base of more than 15 million ounces of silver and 100.000 ounces of gold.

Unfortunately due to the inability of Mexivada to obtain a complete project database for the Jefferson project, the above estimates by Mr. Jeanne should not be relied upon to comply with the requirements for ore reserve and resource estimates as laid out in NI 43-101.

Although the above figures aren't NI 43-101 compliant yet, it surely underscores the potential out there. Another encouraging sign is that in May last year a tremendous gold nugget of 55 pounds was found near the border of Mexivada's Jefferson property in the Round Mountain Mine. In addition, recent detailed geophysical work by Mexivada has generated new large scale, possibly skarn-related exploration targets around the periphery of Jefferson's Porphyry Hill area (see the Mexivada website), which were defined by a ground magnetometry survey.

Gold Junction:

The Gold Junction project is situated 15 kilometres north of the +11 million ounce Round Mountain Gold Mine (Kinross/Barrick JV, "RMGC"), and 6 kilometres north of the Gold Hill Mine property, which is controlled by Round Mountain Gold Company and Nevada Star Resources.

The Gold Junction Property project is being investigated as a possible major open pit gold-silver target similar in nature to Round Mountain and Gold Hill. Mexivada is currently test drilling Gold Junction. Results can be expected within two months.

Poker Flats:

The Poker Flats property is situated within the north-northwest-trending Carlin gold trend, which hosts the Rain/Emigrant Springs, Gold Quarry, Carlin, and Blue Star / Genesis disseminated gold-silver deposits, as well as the Meikle, Rain, and Saddle / Tess fault-controlled vein-style gold-silver deposits. In 1979, Newmont discovered disseminated gold mineralization approximately three miles north-northwest of the Property, which subsequently became the Rain, SMZ, Gnome, and Emigrant Springs gold deposits.

The exploration goal is to generate open pittable, heap leachable Carlin- or Meikle-Rain-Saddle type orebodies at shallow depths (80 to 150 metres), which could be mined and processed through Newmont Mining's expected new mining operation to be started up soon at Emigrant Springs.

Mexivada will commence drilling its Poker flats project after completion of its drilling program at Gold Junction

Molydome:

Mexivada controls 47 lode mining claims at Moly Dome, located 120 kilometers north-northwest of Elko, in the Edgemont Mining District.

Regional gravity and magnetic geophysical data suggest the presence of a large plutonic intrusive body(ies) at a shallow depth below the surface at Moly Dome

Was ich gehört habe, sehr viel versprechende Ergebnisse.

Mexivada Drills Altered and Mineralized Volcanics to 1400 Foot Depth at Gold Junction; Moly Dome Geophysics Initiated
TSX-V: MNV
OTC: MXVDF
Frankfurt: M2Q

VANCOUVER, July 16 /CNW/ -

Gold Junction Drilling Project, Round Mountain District, Nevada: Mexivada
Mining Corp. has successfully completed the first 2 holes of a 3-hole Phase 1
flooded-reverse-circulation drilling program at its Gold Junction, Nevada
property with its contractor, Lang - Boart Longyear Drilling. The drill holes
were designed to test for Round Mountain/Gold Hill type open pittable
volcanic-hosted epithermal gold targets similar to the nearby +12,000,000
ounce Round Mountain open pit mine of Kinross and Barrick. The drill samples
are being picked up and assayed by ISO-certified ALS Chemex Laboratories in
Reno, Nevada.
The first drillhole at Gold Junction was designed for an 800 foot
(244 metre, "m") depth. It tested the north-central core of a gravity high on
the western, downdropped side of the Round Mountain - Gold Hill Connector
Fault, which is interpreted to be a gold feeder at Round Mountain and possibly
also at the Gold Hill mine. This fault system bounds the eastern caldera
margin at Round Mountain and cuts the Gold Hill Mine deposit. Mexivada's hole
GJ-07-1 intersected a variably silicified, iron oxide-bearing, and pyritized
cap sequence of tuffaceous sandy claystones, limestones and calcareous
sandstones between 111 and 155 metres, below the pediment gravels. Variably
altered and silicified and sulfidized felsic tuffs and ignimbrites then were
intersected down to a depth of 1400 feet (426.8 m), where the hole was
terminated due to a lack of additional drill rods. The rock sequence perhaps
represents a thick tuff section in the Moores Creek Caldera or in a previously
unrecognized caldera hidden by pediment gravels. Basement rocks were never
intersected. Mexivada will test the lateral extent of this mineral system to
the south in hole GJ-07-3. Assays will be reported when received.
Drillhole GJ-07-2 was completed to a depth of 244 m (800 feet). A
sequence of argillized tuffaceous volcanic rocks was intersected below
pediment gravels. The drilling of hole GJ-07-3 is now underway. Mexivada will
study the geologic and assay results of the three Gold Junction drillholes and
formulate a program of further work.

Moly Dome, Nevada, Molybdenum-Copper-Gold Project: Mexivada's geophysical
contractor, Durango Geophysical Operations, is now conducting a dipole-dipole
induced polarization survey of Mexivada's Moly Dome property in Elko County,
Nevada. The survey is designed to evaluate molybdenum, copper, and gold
mineralization found on the property, and the possibility of finding a large
porphyry system associated with this mineralization. Mexivada today is
submitting a Notice of Intent to Conduct Exploration diamond core drilling at
Moly Dome to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. It is expected that this
drilling will be conducted at Moly Dome in fall 2007.

Gold Junction "OP" gold target mineralized till 1400 foot - Discovery in the making?

shares issued: 26 million
market cap: $18 million

current rating: 'BUY'

Last week we send out a TGDL break-out ALERT/Update on our TGDL TOP-20 stock Mexivada. The stock broke out on the news concerning the acquisition of the La Republica Mine property in Chihuahua, Mexico, 12 kilometres south of Mexivada's Yécora property. Furthermore we noted that Mexivada is currently drilling its near surface open pit gold target at Gold Junction, Nevada.

Now Mexivada has already completed two of the three planned drill holes at Gold Junction (the third hole is in progress) and despite the fact no assay results have been received yet Mexivada put out a press release this morning saying significant mineralization has been encountered down to a depth of 1400 feet.

Now what does that mean?

Well, first of all these drill holes were designed to test Mexivada's "OP" Target Area for Round Mountain/Gold Hill type open pittable volcanic-hosted epithermal gold targets similar to the nearby +12,000,000 ounce Round Mountain open pit mine of Kinross and Barrick.

Now could the Gold Junction project morph into a similar open pittable gold target like the Round Mountain Mine indeed? Mexivada's CEO Rick Redfern sounds very upbeat hence the press release this morning. Unfortunately this press release is hard to digest by the average investor since they aren't geologists. Therefore I asked Rick Redfern to explain in simple terms why he's so excited about this Gold Junction project and for how much longer investors have to wait before the assay results come out.

EH: The press release talks about mineralization till 1400 foot. Are you talking about gold mineralization? Could you comment on that?

RR: Hi Eric. We found four things in the first drillhole in the "OP" Target Area that are positive signs that we may have intersected a new, very large Round Mountain-type gold system:

1) The thickness of altered, mineralized rock found in hole one is as great as found in the nearby world-class +12,000,000 ounce Round Mountain Mine.

2) We have a favorable cap rock of limestone above the main altered and pyritized body of volcanic tuffs below; this could have focused and precipitated gold in the system, better than at Round Mountain or at the +1,000,000 ounce Gold Hill Mine.

3) We see strongly altered (clay alteration and sericite mica) throughout our first hole, and this is associated with the Round Mountain gold mine.

4) We see pyritic sulfides throughout much of these rocks in hole 1, which could be indicative of gold mineralization here. We didn't yet see any visible gold in the drill cuttings, though, so we will need to wait for the assay reults, which could be returned in approximately 4 weeks.

EH: You said that the drill program was designed to test for Round Mountain/Gold Hill type open pittable volcanic-hosted epithermal gold targets similar to the nearby +12,000,000 ounce Round Mountain open pit mine of Kinross and Barrick. When you talk about similar, do you mean similar in structure? Similar in size?

RR: Yes, potentially both. The Round Mountain gold mine is one of the world's largest gold mines, though, so it would be highly presumptive of me to make size comparisons at this point. The structure of the volcanic caldera (basin) may be similar to Round Mountain, since both lie on the west side of the â?oConnectorâ? fault, and ours was hidden by surface â?opedimentâ? gravels. The Round Mountain Mine was partially concealed by pediment gravels before it was developed into the current huge open pit gold mine. Many large, hidden gold deposits may still be present in the Round Mountain mining district, and that is why we have our largest groups of claimblocks in Nevada in this area. The potential is so huge there! Mexivada has the largest number of claims here, other than Kinross, Barrick, and Newmont.

Both deposits could have been "fed" by gold-bearing solutions coming up along the Connector fault. We don't know how far to the west, north, or south that our alteration and mineralization extends for. Our current drillhole (GJ-07-3) is testing the south extension of the "OP" Target Area. Hole GJ-07-2 tested a different area, east of the Connector fault, and is not associated with this mineral system. I will say, and this is highly speculative, that there is enough space available in our "OP" target area to accomodate a 5,000,000 ounce gold deposit. Whether we have something will have to await the arrival of our sample assays.

EH: Your drilling program only consists out of three holes. Why only three holes? Is it sufficient to tell the whole story?

RR: No, it isn't, but money is spent so fast with these drilling programs, that we wanted time to digest the data and formulate a good future program. Also, perhaps one of the major gold companies may wish to come in and be our partner with Gold Junction. That would gain Mexivada some really good exposure in the mining industry and its investment circles!

EH: Do you expect serious interest from major producers if Gold Junction turns out to be what you expect?

RR: Yes. We will need to be wary of hostile takeovers if this turns out to be a mine!

EH: When will the investor know if Gold Junction is a hit or not?

RR: We should finish our third drillhole at Gold Junction by the middle of this week, which will give us further insights into the size of this mineral system. We should have some gold assays back within four weeks, and we may send out a few samples for rush gold assays, which would arrive back to us rapidly.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 30.729.898 von MickyMouse1 am 17.07.07 17:26:05Interessantes Interview - nicht vergessen Hommelberg hat schon Aurelian unter 1 $ entdeckt....sein Discovery Portfolio ist extrem stark!!! :D

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 30.783.953 von MickyMouse1 am 21.07.07 00:20:10...wir hatten ja mal kurz kontakt.

Bin seit Deiner Empfehlung dabei.

BID Orders Volume Price Range
9 100,000 0.790-0.860
ASK Price Range Volume Orders
8 24,500 0.900-0.950

Mexivada Mining Corp. has just wheeled a crackerjack acquisition deal that has the entire Vancouver mining community drunk
with envy.
It's true. Let me explain...
About a week and a half ago, Mexivada obtained the exclusive option rights to purchase a 100% interest in an extraordinarily promising, super high-grade silver property in Mexico called La
Republica. Now, I'm sure that you've heard the embellished tales of “highly prospective” silver and gold properties about a million
times during the course of your investment career. Hell, I know I have. If I had a nickel for every time I heard that old cock-and-bull rap, I could afford a solid gold Rolls Royce for every day of the week. So what separates La Republica from other precious metal properties?
Well, it turns out that the Republica mine was once the single highest grade silver producer throughout Mexico! The mine produced silver from ore that assayed over a whopping 3,700 grams
per ton silver!
And, by the way, for those of you who don't already know, Mexico was once the largest silver producing nation in the world. The country proudly held this title for centuries until 2005 when Peru
took over the title as the world's top silver producer. Mexico is still the second largest silver producer and pumped out about 96.4 million ounces in 2006.
So you can just imagine my excitement when I learn that our tiny CAD$22.5 million company has just obtained the rights to purchase this incredible piece of land.
Viva La Republica!
The 55.6043 hectare Republica property is located in the western region of the state of Chihuahua, Mexico and lies within the prolific Sierra Madre Occidental gold/silver belt. This is very significant because the Sierra Madre Occidental belt is home to many other significant precious metal mines
including:
● Goldcorp Inc.'s El Sauzal mine – 1.7 million ounces of proved and probable gold reserves and
produced nearly 300,000 ounces of in 2006;
● Gammon Gold Inc.'s Ocompo project – 4.2 million ounces of proved and probable goldequivalent
reserves;
● Bolnisi Gold NL and Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corp.'s Palmarejo/Trogan project – 2.59 million
ounces of measured and indicated gold resources plus 0.5 million ounces of indicated gold
resources;
● Minefinders Corporation Ltd's Dolores project – measured and indicated resources total 3.06
million ounces of gold and 149 million ounces of silver. Additional resources of 667,000 ounces
of gold and 27.7 million ounces of silver have also been internally estimated;
● Alamos Gold Inc.'s Mulatos Mine – 2.05 million ounces of proved and probable gold reserves
plus another 3.44 million ounces of measured and indicated resources at a 0.5 g/t cutoff; and
● Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd's Pinos Altos – 1.837 million ounce of probable gold reserves plus
0.503 million indicated gold resources;
The area is also home many earlier stage exploration level properties including:
● Chesapeake Gold Corp.'s La Juliana project – rock chip samples returned 3.5 g/t Au over 22.5
meters, 4.0 g/t Au over 9 meters, and 0.7 g/t Au over 17 meters;
● Grayd Resource's La India property – rock chip samples assayed 6 g/t Au over 5.2 meters, 2.05
g/t Au over 14.0 meters, and 8.43 g/t Au over 2.0 meters; and
● Hochschild Mining PLC and Exmin Resource Inc.'s Moris project – rock chip samples assayed
29.00 g/t Au and 522 g/t Ag, 0.72 g/t Au and 421 g/t Ag, 2.09 g/t Au and 461 g/t Ag, and 2.66 g/t
Au and 621 g/t Ag over 0.8 meters.
The new Republica property is also only 12 kilometers south Mexivada's 1,041.244 hectare Yécora
property, where recent drill results returned an impressive 22.3 g/t Au and 1,640 g/t Ag over a 0.5
meter drill core interval. The close proximity of the two properties is significant because if La
Republica Mine is put back into production, Mexivada could economically truck ore from the
Yécora property with no sweat of their back.
Property History
The mineral potential of La Republica was first discovered back in 1904 by a man named Manuel
Amado, who, at that time, owned the land.
Shortly after the initial mineral discovery, four men from Minaca, who were better trained in
geology, named Messrs, Gibbs, White, and Alexander examined La Republica a bit closer and
convinced Amado to sell it to them. And although I could not find any information on how much the four men from Minaca actually paid for the property, I'm almost certain that Mr. Amado got the
wrong end of the stick.
According to a report on La Republica that was later commission by the United States and Mexican Trust Company in 1907, Mr. Amado worked as a simple rancher on the property. In other words, he
was certainly not a trained geologist and had no way of knowing exactly what had on his hands.
I assume, however, that Mr. Amado must have known at least a little bit about mineral exploration to
have originally discovered La Republic's precious metal potential. And I'm almost positive he had serious sellers remorse once he learned what Messrs, Gibbs, White and Alexander found on there.
The four Minacan men sunk a shaft into La Republica to a depth of over 100 feet and drove two short levels on a vein that they discovered. The ore that they recovered from this effort was nothing short of amazing.
A total of 1,000 tons of ore was mined from these shafts and drifts. This ore assayed over a whopping 3,500 grams per ton silver! A total of 79 tons of picked ore was shipped to the El Paso
Smelting Works. From that ore, a total of 32,567 ounces of silver was recovered, for which, after deducting treatment and freight charges, the American Smelting and Refining Company paid
USD$17,260.96. For those of you counting, that's worth nearly USD$375,000 today. Not bad for a few months work at that time. After this there was no simply stopping La Republica from going into full-scale production.
Following the mind-numbing high-grade ore recovered by Messrs, Gibbs, White, and Alexander, La Republica flowered into life and become a producing silver property. The average mill head grade of
ore above the 166 foot level, calculated in late 1906 and reported in the United States and Mexican Trust Company report of 1907, was a honking 3,759 grams per ton silver!
Engineering summaries and longitudinal sections created around this time showed even higher grades. Two reports in 1907 and 1908 reported an average 3.66 meter vein width on the 300 foot
level of the Republica vein that assayed and average 4,961 grams per ton silver along a 33.8 meter
horizontal length of the north drift. Also significant is that these sections indicated that the
Republica vein thickened to the 300 foot level from a vein width of 1.66 meters near the surface suggesting to me that it may thicken even further as it dips.
By 1909 the mine was reported to have produced more than 10,000,000 ounces of silver at high grades. And everything was strawberries and puppy dogs until 1911 after the Mexican Revolution
broke out and the mine was forced to shut down. Nearly 7% of Mexico's population died during the 11 year conflict and the mining industry was jerked to a screeching stop.
La Republica Mine sat dormant for over 25 years after the Mexican Revolution began. It wasn't until 1937 when La Republica was reopened for a brief renewed mine production from the surface down
to the 110 foot level. But after only a few months into renewed production, disaster struck. The main stope collapsed inside the mine because workers greedily removed the high-grade roof-support
pillars and the mine caved in. La Republica was shut down again.
The mine changed hands a few more times and had another brief exploration revival in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Finally in La Republica ended up in the hands of Mr. Alfonso Marquez. Mr. Marquez conducted drifting and winzing exploration and in 1997 recovered near surface samples that assayed 497 g/t Ag
and 1,000 g/t Ag.
But Mr. Marquez didn't have the working capital to turn La Republica back into the great silver producer that it once was. So, Marquez agreed to option La Republica to Mexivada.
The Republica mine property consists of two 50-year mining exploitation concessions granted by the Mexican federal government. These two concessions enclose the known mine workings at La Republica. The surface rights to the property are owned privately by local ranchers, with whom Mexivada has obtained permission to enter and conduct work. So there's no problem there.
Under the terms of the option agreement, Mexivada must pay USD$2 million, payable in increasing installments over a 4-year period, subject to a 1% net smelter return royalty that may be purchased at
any time for the sum of USD$1.250 million. A production bonus of $1,000,000 is to be paid to the
vendors nine months after the start of commercial mine production in excess of 5,000 tons of ore.
Current and Future Work
Mexivada's initial surface sampling to the north of the main stope yielded a 2 meter channel sample that assayed an impressive 1,230 g/t Ag 2 g/t gold, 0.88% zinc, and 0.31% lead. The Republica
mineral system remains open to the north and to the south of the mined and studied part of the area, and the vein was reported to occur along a strike length of 2 kilometers.
Mexivada has initiated a program of surveying, sampling, and mapping of the La Republica property. After that, Mexivada will mobilize a core drilling rig to the site within the next month to
test the La Republica mine area. The initial drillholes will test the downdip extension of the main La Republica stope below the 300 foot mine level, as well as the northern and southern extensions of
the Republica vein system.
Conclusion
I'm extremely excited to see how La Republica story plays out. It's very rare that you see a precious metal property of this caliber with such a colorful history end up in the hands of a tiny junior exploration company like Mexivada.
If drill results from La Republica come back as positive as I believe they will, I'm certain that MNV will be trading much higher than it is today. In the near term, keep your eye out on news of the detailed drill program and continue buying the stock at current levels. It's a steal.

La Republica Silver-Gold-Zinc-Lead Project, Yécora District, Chihuahua, Mexico: Mexivada Mining Corp. has started its field exploration program at its La Republica property, in preparation for a Phase 1 summer drill program. Updated topographic maps will be made from existing photography and new surveying, to help in the placement of drillholes and other future work. The target sought for at La Republica is a +50,000,000 ounce, high-grade vein-type silver mine, with significant by-product credits for the other metals listed above. The multi-phase nature of the vein system at the surface suggests the possible presence of a hidden, early gold-quartz vein system. Visible gold was found locally in the original mine workings. La Republica yielded approximately 10,000,000 ounces of very high grade silver production between 1906 through 1910 or 1911, even though it was selectively mined down only to the 91.5 metre level. Channel sampling on this level was reported to have assayed 5,990 grams per tonne silver across a 3.65 metre true vein width along a drift length of 33.8 metres. Mexivada is fast-tracking the La Republica project.

Gold Junction Drilling Project, Round Mountain District, Nevada: Mexivada Mining Corp. has successfully completed all 3 holes of its Phase 1 reverse-circulation drilling program at its Gold Junction, Nevada property. The third hole (GJ-07-3) was completed to a depth of 1215 feet (370 metres, "m"), and encountered variably altered tuffaceous volcanic rocks with local zones of silicification and silica veining, as well as local pyritic sulfides. The 3 drill holes were designed to test geophysical and geochemical anomalies for potential Round Mountain/Gold Hill type open pittable volcanic-hosted epithermal gold targets. The drill samples were picked up and are being assayed by ISO-certified ALS Chemex Laboratories in Reno, Nevada. The assays for the 3 holes will be reported when received.

Moly Dome, Nevada, Molybdenum-Copper-Gold Project: Mexivada filed a Notice of Intent to Conduct Exploration drilling at its 100% owned Moly Dome property with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Mexivada's geophysical contractor, Durango Geophysical Operations, started conducting a dipole-dipole induced polarization ("IP") survey at Moly Dome, but was temporarily suspended due to a series of large rangeland fires. The IP survey was designed to evaluate molybdenum, copper, and gold mineralization found on the property, and the possibility of finding a large porphyry system associated with this mineralization. During the initial IP survey testing, the contractor's IP transmitter registered anomalous overvoltages in the central target area, interpreted to be due to a redox interaction of sulfides with surface waters. This may indicate the presence of a good size sulfidic mineralized rock body present beneath the thin (0 to 10 m) volcanic cover at Moly Dome. Mexivada expects that drilling will be conducted at Moly Dome in fall 2007.

Ziggurat Gold Project, Round Mountain District, Nevada: Mexivada Mining Corp. has been conducting surface geologic mapping and geochemical sampling program at its large, 100% owned Ziggurat gold project, located 2 miles north of Gold
