NN, Inc.’s U.S. manufacturing units include NN Ball & Roller Division, Industrial Molding Corporation and Delta Rubber Company. The NN Ball & Roller Division supplies precision steel balls and cylindrical rollers for various applications including bearings, automotive parts, hydraulic motors, oil drilling and mining. Industrial Molding Corporation provides precision injection molded plastic parts for bearings, the automotive industry and a variety of other applications. Delta Rubber Company supplies rubber sealing solutions for bearings, oil drilling and other industries.

NN, Inc.’s European subsidiary, NN Europe provides precision steel balls, tapered rollers and stamped steel components for various applications including bearings and automotive parts. NN Europe includes a total of five manufacturing facilities within the European Union.

In late 2005, NN Asia officially began manufacturing of precision steel balls in a new factory, NN Precision Bearing Products (Kunshan) Co., Ltd located in Kunshan, Peoples Republic of China. Kunshan is approximately 50km from the center of Shanghai. This facility is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of NN, Inc. and serves as NN’s headquarters for the Asia / Pacific region.

also nach dem schwachen Ausblick und den enttäuschenden Q-Zahlen drängt sich hier nicht gerade ein Kauf auf. Zumal die Company mit über 60Mio. USD tief in den Schulden steckt .... und der 4Jahreschart schaut ebenfalls recht langweilig aus ... da gibt es bessere Möglichkeiten Geld zu verdienen

NN Acquires Whirlaway for $44 Million

NN Buys Whirlaway for $40 Million in Effort to Build Precision Metal Components Platform
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- NN Inc., a maker of balls, rollers, seals and retainers for bearing manufacturers, on Friday said it acquired Whirlaway Corp. for $44 million in cash.

Whirlaway is a privately held manufacturer of precision metal components and fluid control assemblies for use in the air conditioning, appliance, automotive, commercial refrigeration and diesel engine industries. It employs 575 people. The Wellington, Ohio-based company, which employs 575 people, expects revenue this year of $80 million.

NN expects the acquisition will add to earnings immediately.

Chairman and Chief Executive Roderick R. Baty said "the acquisition represents an ideal first step in our efforts to create a precision metal components platform at NN."

Whirlaway Corporation Acquires the Assets of Triumph Corporation

Whirlaway Corporation acquired the assets of Triumph Corporation on April 29, 2004. The new entity will be known as Triumph LLC. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Whirlaway Corporation is a supplier of high volume precision components and assemblies for the OEM and Tier 1 manufacturers of highly engineered mechanical systems. The company’s product segments include Fluid Control Components and Assemblies, Shafts, and Housings and Brackets. Whirlaway has three manufacturing facilities in Wellington and Hamilton, Ohio.

Triumph is supplier of small diameter precision machined parts and assemblies to the automotive industry. The company specializes in Swiss Turning and has over two hundred machine tools in its state of the art 140,000 square foot facility in Tempe AZ. Triumph has an outstanding reputation as a provider of design for manufacturability solutions to an outstanding base of Tier One Automotive Industry customers including Siemens, TRW, Bosch, Denso and Borg Warner.

In addition to continuing its expertise and a supplier of very close tolerance turned parts, Whirlaway will incorporate Triumph’s turned part expertise to further its fluid control components and assemblies segment. Triumph will provide precision blanks that will be incorporated into valve and pump assemblies built and tested at Whirlaway Corporation.

Chris Mueller will continue his outstanding technical leadership role with Triumph and Whirlaway, and will be a key participant in providing technical solutions to customers in the development of new products.

The combined entity will have 2005 sales of $75 million.
