Ausbruch steht unmittelbar bevor!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nachdem der JV Partner, und Nachbar von ECU Silver am Mittag auf Wunsch der Firma vom Handel ausgesetzt wurde, wurde diese Super Bohrergebniss Meldung veröffentlicht:

Obwohl es sich erst um die allerersten Bohrergebnisse handelt, ist es ein Beleg dafür, dass das direckt an ECU grenzende Gründstück vermutlich ähnlich hervorragende Silber Gehalte beinhaltet.

Bis zu 1,016 Gramm Silver, 1.67% Zink, und 3,65% Blei pro Tonne Gestein wurden nachgewiesen. Es deutet für mich daraufhin, dass die riesigen Silber, und Zink Funde die ECU bereits Nachgewiesen hat, und ständig weiter ausbaut, auf dem Nachbar Grundstück von Golden Tag seine Fortsetzung findet.

Die Exploration bei Golden Tag wird im JV unter Regieführung von ECU Silber durchgeführt.

Die Marktkapitalisierung von Golden Tag beträg per gestern Mittag Handelsaussetzung, gerade einmal nur 11.9 Millionen Kanada Dollar.

Die gesammte Aktienanzahl nur gerade 26.3 Millionen. im Gegensatz zu ECU mit 207 Mio Aktien.

Eine bessere Chance auf massivste Kurssteigerungen (bitte nicht zu verwechseln mit einer Garantie), bietet sich den Anlegern selten.

Es ist zu erwarten, dass bald schon weitere Bohrergebnisse bekanngegeben werden. Falls diese ebenfalls positiv ausfallen, oder sich gar noch verbessern liegt die Aussicht auf eine verzehnfachung des heutigen Kurses in Reichweite, vor allem wegen der sehr geringen Aktienanzahl von Golden Tag. Erstmal denke ich der Kurs der *GOG.V* in Kanada, oder in den USA *GTAGF.PK* dürfte sehr schnell die 1.- Dollar Marke überschreiten, und danach je nach den weiteren Bohrergebnissen den selbst den heutigen Kurs von ECU überunden, wie bereits gesagt, weil es sehr wenige Golden Tag Aktien gibt.

Selbst bei einer Verzehnfachung des Kurses der Golden Tag betrüge die Marktkapitalisierung erst 129 Mio. CAD gegenüber den per heute stark unterbewerteten 591 Mio MK. bei ECU, wobei ECU auch selbst als JV Partner von Golden Tag stark profitieren wird, und der MK ECUs dadurch starken Auftrieb kriegen dürfte, zusätzlich zu den bereits bestehenden, und bisher laufend weiter erfolgreich fortschreitenden Explorationsarbeiten, und vor allem den Produktion Ausweitungen ECUs.

Eine Übernahme Golden Tags durch ECU ist eine weitere Variante die mir mehr als nur möglich erscheint, wobei in einem solchen Fall zu einem weit höheren Preis als noch heute.

Bei mir liegt die Golden TAG bereits seit August zu 51 Cents, per gestern noch in ROT im Depot. Nach wiederaufnahme des Handels dürfte sich die Farbe jedoch schlagartig in ein Grün verwandeln.

Ich habe ECU damals am Anfang dieses Jahres mit Strong Buy zum Kauf entpfohlen, und möchte mich heute im Falle von GOG noch etwas steigern:

McCUAIG PROJECT, RED LAKE, ONTARIO

In 1995 the Company acquired a 100% interest in the McCuaig property, Dome Township, Red Lake,, Ontario from a local prospector. The property is favourably located at the junction of two major structures, namely the Cochenour-Gullrock Lake and Post Narrows deformation zones. The neighbouring Cochenour (1.2 million ounces), Campbell (10.2 million ounces) and the Goldcorp (3.5 million ounces) mines are all located along trend to the southeast within the Cochenor-Gullrock Lake zone. To date, mines situated on this trend have cumulatively produced over 15 million ounces of gold.



In December 1997, the Company entered into in an option agreement with Rubicon Minerals Corporation. Rubicon earned a 50% interest in the property by carrying out $450,000 in exploration work over 3 years. Rubicon earned an additional 10% interest in the property by spending $522,000 in drilling related expenditures in an April 2002 program.

Recent drilling on the property commenced in 2001, where Rubicon completed 1825 meters of drilling in 6 holes. Hole MC-01-02 yielded several anomalous gold assays, the best of which were 13.11 g/t Au (grams gold per tonne) over 0.30 meters and 7.45 g/t Au over 0.25 meters. In April 2002, Rubicon completed a 2nd phase 26 hole (6,347 meter) drill program of which 13 holes (2,926 meters) tested the gold-bearing structure first intersected in Hole MC-01-02 in 2001. The Highlight of the drill program include 75.91 g/t Au over 0.70 meters in hole MC-02-32, part of an interval grading 22.83 g/t Au over 3.1 meters. In winter 2003, a follow-up 10 hole 5,260 ft drill program was undertaken by the McCaig Joint Venture. Gold mineralization was intersected in a number of holes with the best intersection of 0.21 oz/ton over 1.97 feet (MC-03-45) and .18 oz/ton over 1.64 feet (MC-03-48). Several holes also intersected broad, lower grade gold zones. In winter 2004 a diamond drilling program consisting of 10 holes for a total of 1950 meters was completed. Holes 51 to 54 and 57 to 59 encountered strong silicification within ultramafic rocks over a horizontal distance of 300 meters. The best result was 19.1 g/t Au over 1.0 meters associated with a narrow 1cm thick quartz vein bearing significant visible gold in hole 53. In summer 2004, a program to evaluate target potential on the property, as well as a legal claim boundary survey to bring the claims to a mining lease was completed.

A drill program is scheduled to take place in late January, 2007.

So viel mir bekannt ist, gibt es die Golden Tag bisher nur in Kanada, und den USA am Pink Board zu kaufen. Wobei Kanada wohl der bessere Ort sein wird die *GOG.V* zu Kaufen.

Wenn sie evtl. eines Tages in Deutschland gehandelt wird, steht die GOG wohl schon weit über dem heutigen Preis.

Der Meinung zu den Bohrergebnissen Golden Tags, und ihren weiteren Aussichten von Coach247 kann ich nur zustimmen. Doch Golden Tag bietet weit mehr als nur das Joint Venture Projekt mit ECU. Doch davon schreibt Coach bisher noch nichts.

Ich bin mir zu 100% sicher, dass Golden Tag bald zu einem der meistdiskutierten Explorer avisieren wird, und sehr schnell, zur Zeit noch ausschliesslich, wegen ihrem Joint Venture Projekt mit ECU, der dem Aktienkurs von GOG dadurch grossen Auftrieb geben dürfte, einen sehr grossen Bekanntheitsgrad bei den Anlegern erlangen könnte.

Coach, in the news release of August 31 2006 it was stated that GOG must expend 1.5 million dollars in 0.5 million dollar increments over three years in order to earn a 50% interest from ECU. When you say that they don't seem to be focusing on their San Diego property in Mexico as much as their other projects like James Bay, are they not meeting their commitment in Mexico?

Hi Pete!

A half million bucks to spend on exploration seems like a lot, but it is not that big a budget and does not pay for a serious program. I think GOG will spend the money they need to in order to maintain their interest, but I think it is a mistake in the attitude of management not to be more active on that project. The upside is much stronger than James Bay because the potential for successful development into production is far greater. There are many high grade gold deposits in the Canadian north that will never see production because the capital expenditure for development is too high. So I think it is a poor decision for GOG to focus on that James Bay project when they have better potential in Mexico that could generate greater shareholder value. Thats just my opinion, and since I do not like the direction that the company is taking I will probably sell my shares and move on once they shift focus back to Quebec.

Mexico Mike wie er sich andern Ortes nennt, gefällt es nicht, dass Golden Tag den Schwerpunkt ihrer Explorationsarbeit nicht sofort nach Mexico verlegen, wo er sich in seinem Element befindet.
Ich möchte wetten mit Dir, dass er schlussendlich nicht verkaufen wird im neuen Jahr, wie er gesagt es womöglich zu tun, weil Schwerpunkte in der Exploration fast jederzeit geändert werden können. In einem solchen Falle würde Mike wieder schwärmen.

Seine bisherigen an verschiedensten Orten gemachten Aussagen zu Golden Tags Bohrergebnissen, und deren Zukunftsaussichten waren alle durchs Band positiv. Ich denke Mike macht sich hier etwas vor, wenn er glaubt, dass die GOG nun gleich nach seinen Instruktionen, sofort ihre Explorationspolitik auszurichten haben.
Zudem glaube ich zu wissen, dass Mike nur sehr wenige GOG Aktien vor dieser Meldung besass (er ist weit stärker in ECU, und anderen Minen investiert), und damit allgemein gesehen eher wenig Interesse an GOG haben dürfte, genauso wie die hiesigen WO ECU Aktienbesitzer noch eher wenig Interesse an Golden Tag zu haben scheinen.

Zum Schluss hat GOG jedoch trotz schlechtem Börsenumfeld mit einem soliden Plus von 14.29% auf 56 CAD Cents geschlossen, bei einem Umsatz von mehr als 1.3 Millionen gehandelter Aktien.

Soferne GOG nicht kurzfristig zu schnell nach Norden läuft, werde ich nächste Woche einsteigen. Hab die schon länger im Visier. Leider nicht genug Cash gehabt, um alle meine (sonstigen) Absichten zu verwirklichen.

In Toronto kaufen ist ziemlich teuer, ich tue es da nie unter 2500 Euros Gegenwert in CA$s.
Damit das Kosten-Gewinn/Verlust-Verhältnis irgendwie stimmt.
Bei CMM wars ein Vorteil zu warten, da ist der weibliche CEO M. Kent von den Vertragspartnern hintergangen worden und der Kurs fiel.
.
Kannst Du mal einen Blick auf Frontier Pacific FRP machen, da scheint die Goldmine in Griechenland die Hürden der Inbetriebnahme überwunden zu haben. Außerdem scheint die Uran-Property Macusani, ein JV mit SOX, Kursphantasie zu generieren.

Und bei Adelaide Resources gabs dann doch noch eine offizielle Erklärung zu den 0,51:0,039-Kursen. Schon gesehen? Übrigens, danke für den Tipp!

Frontier Pacific Mining Corporation (FRP) hat noch keine Betriebsbewilligung erhalten die steht noch aus. Wenn sie sie erhält, wird sich der Preis vermutlich kurzfristig stark ansteigen. Doch die Probleme, und finanziellen Hürden die FRP zu überwinden hat werden erst danach sichtbar werden.

Die FRP hat bereits 131.6 Mio. Aktien ausgegeben, und eine Marktkapitalisierung von 71 Mio. CAD.

Für ihr Grichenland Projekt benötigen sie zuerst einmal ca. 90 Mio. US Dollar für den Aufbau der Produktion, und danach weitere 180 Mio. Euro für den Betrieb. 3 Mio. müssen sie noch nach Betriebsaufnahme an Newmont bezahlen von denen sie Perama gekauft haben. Eine mit Newmont vereinbarte Net Smelter Royalty von 2.5% kommt dazu.

Bei FRPs 50%igem Uran Projekt in Peru (50% gehört Solex) kommt ein erhöhtes politisches Risiko hinzu, und die Erteillung einer Abbaulizenz scheint mir noch in weiter Ferne zu liegen, und keineswegs gesichert. Den 50%igen Anteil muss sich FRP zudem erst noch durch weitere Explorationsinvestitionen erarbeiten.(Die genaue Höhe dieser nötigen Investition ist mir noch nicht bekannt)

Total 1.2 Mio. Förderbare Unzen Gold (Perama Grichenland)
131 Mio. Unzen berechnete Gold Förderung (Die 1. drei Jahre)
Cash Operations Kosten von ca. 180 Dollar pro Unze
Total Cash Kosten von ca. 220 Dollar (inkl. Royalties+Steuern)
Total Production Kosten von ca. 280 Dollar
Geschätzte Lebensdauer der Mine 9 Jahre
Kapitalbedarf neu, 1. 97 Mio + 2. 220 Mio. US Dollar = Total 317 Mio.

Nach meiner Berechnung könnte der Kurs der FRP Aktie realistisch gesehen wenn alles klappen sollte nach und nach auf ca. 1.50 steigen. Wobei sich die Aktienanzahl dabei auf nicht mehr als 260 Mio Aktien verdoppeln dürfte.

Falls das Uran Projekt fortschritte macht, wären höhere Kurse zu erwarten, über die ich heute noch nicht spekulieren möchte.

Hab schon befürchtet dass Du Dich kopfüber in Goldseiten verliebt hast

Ende Januar 2007 beginnen bereits weitere Bohrungen auf Golden Tags McCuaig Projekt, Red Lake, Ontario, dass ich selbst, im Gegensatz zu Mexico Mike (Coach247) als ein überaus wichtiges, betrachte. Es wurden dort von Rubicon einem JV Parter Golden Tags bis zu 75.9 Gramm Gold pro Tonne nachgewiesen. Golden Tag kann jetzt nicht von heute auf morgen nur noch auf das SAN DIEGO Projekt beschränken, wie es Coach gerne sehen würde. Zudem werden die Bohrungen des JV Projektes mit ECU operativ ja durch ECU selbst weitergeführt. Falls die weiteren Ergebnisse positiv ausfallen, wovon ich einmal hoffnungsvoll ausgehen möchte, könnten sich Schwerpunkte relativ schnell ändern. Zudem, mit jedem weiteren positiven Bohrergebnis dürfte nicht nur der Wert des Gebietes, sondern noch weit mehr das Interesse ECUs an JV Partner Golden Tags Nachbargrundstück stark ansteigen.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 23, 2007) - Golden Tag Resources Ltd.(TSX VENTURE:GOG - News) is pleased to announce that diamond drilling programs on three of the Company's projects, namely the Aquilon Extension and Main properties in James Bay, Quebec and the McCuaig property in Red Lake, Ontario are planned to take place during the months of February and March, 2007.

"Exploration on the Aquilon properties in 2007 is focused on evaluating several new potential environments for gold mineralization", stated David Rigg, CEO of Golden Tag. "Gold occurrences on the Aquilon Main property boast some of the highest gold grades in any known gold occurrences in Quebec. There is significant gold in the system and we need to identify the best structural trap on the properties". Following is a description of the planned drilling for each of the Aquilon properties and the McCuaig Red Lake property. A news release will be issued advising of the commencement of drilling on each of the projects.

Aquilon Extension Property, James Bay, Quebec : A two phase 2,500 metre program comprising 15 holes of diamond drilling is planned to commence in mid-February, 2007. It is anticipated that the program will be of 4 to 5 weeks duration.

Diamond drilling is in response to a previous airborne geophysical survey and ground magnetic survey (2006) which have traced a banded iron formation ("BIF") horizon, estimated to be 60 metres wide, over an area of approximately 10 sq. km. Interpretation of the data supports multiple refolding of the favourable target horizon and recognition of at least 10 areas where the magnetic trend associated with the BIF is broken. One additional area on the property shows a highly suppressed magnetic signature related to the BIF of over 800 metres strike length. Diamond drilling will target magnetic lows along the trend of the BIF, abrupt breaks in the trend of the BIF and fold closures/ offsets; all potentially prime areas for favourable gold mineralization.

The BIF horizon is being evaluated using analogies with the Musselwhite gold deposit in northwestern Ontario and other known BIF - hosted gold deposits worldwide. Gold mineralization commonly occurs within BIF at structural breaks and fold closures, and is commonly associated with alteration. Alteration commonly results in the destruction of magnetite and loss of magnetic response of the BIF. The extension of the BIF horizon lies to the south of very high-grade gold occurrences within quartz veining on the contiguous Aquilon Main property.

The Extension property is held jointly by Golden Tag (60%) and Sirios Resources Inc. (40%). Golden Tag is the operator.

Aquilon Main Property, James Bay Quebec : A Pole-Pole Induced ("IP") program over 20 line-kilometres is planned to commence shortly to evaluate previously unexplored metasediments located directly to the north of the Red Toad showing and the string of gold occurrences identified along the Wolf Lake Shear Zone. The survey should identify potential for disseminated sulphide zones within the meatsediments and a model based on the recent Eleonore Deposit discovery in Quebec is being applied. Geophysics will be followed with a two phase 1,550 metre program of diamond drilling comprising a minimum of 5 holes in Phase 1. Phase 2 drilling will focus upon any favourable environments discovered during Phase 1 or down dip/plunge of several of the gold showings. Drilling is expected to commence in mid-March immediately after completion of drilling on the neighbouring Aquilon Extension property. The drilling program is anticipated to be of 3 to 5 weeks duration.

The Aquilon Main property, in which Golden Tag is the operator and is earning a 60% interest (see Golden Tag's news release of November 20, 2003 for details), covers 6,370 hectares of a folded, highly deformed greenstone belt hosting a felsic volcanic center and known to host numerous spectacular gold showings. Previous work conducted on the property (1997-2003) outlined numerous relatively short, shallow-dipping high grade ( greater than 20 g/T Au) quartz veins within the 4 km x 400 metre NE-oriented Wolf Lake Shear Zone. Very high gold assays have been returned from some of these veins including 287.4 g/T Au over 2.3 metres and 110.2 g/T Au over 3.49 metres. Diamond drilling on the Red Toad Zone (2004-2005), a new discovery to the east of previously known gold showings, resulted in the detection of native gold in 11 holes of the 16 holes drilled . The best result in this recent drilling was in hole AQU-04-03, which intersected 4.33 metres at an average grade of 10.03 g/t Au (see Golden Tag's news releases of November 9, 2004 and June 6, 2005).

McCuaig Property, Red Lake, Ontario : Rubicon Minerals Corp, operator of the McCuaig JV, has advised Golden Tag that a $200,000 drill program is planned to commence on the McCuaig property (jointly held 40% Golden Tag, 60% Rubicon) in mid-February, 2007 (see Golden Tag news release of November 8, 2006). The program is designed to test the down-dip extension of the #1 vein at the adjacent Mackenzie Mine, where the vein may enter Balmer Volcanic stratigraphy, coincident with the limb of a regional antiform. The regional setting of the target is interpreted to be similar to the new Bruce Channel Discovery Zone ("BCD") that is currently being drilled by Southern Star/Exall to the immediate southeast of the McCuaig property. Numerous multi-ounce intercepts have been reported from drilling on the BCD Zone within Balmer Volcanic rocks along the margin of a regional antiform and at a vertical depth of 800 to 1,200 metres.

Kann ich nur über meinen Bankangestellten und solche Werte liebe ich nicht, denn wenn man da raus will kommt man nur zu den Geschäftszeiten raus.

Ich muss mir mal einen Broker in Canada zulegen, bisjetzt war ich mit meiner Hausbank (Hypovereinsbank) sehr zufrieden. Da ich langfristig halte kommt es mir nicht so sehr auf die Kosten an, mir ist meine gute Beziehung zur Bank wichtig.

Ne, freischalten ist leider nicht. Dieser Dösel in Berlin, jetzt biete ich schon 0.48 (> 0.73 CAD) und werde nicht bedient. Kann der nicht mal 5000 shares aus Kanada besorgen ? (für die zahlt er momentan 0.69 = 4 cent Differenz macht 200.- CAD, will er sich die nicht verdienen) Ich verstehe die Welt nicht, wieso hat man eine Börse in Berlin wenn man eh nicht bedient wird.

Nein, ich war das nicht. Diesen Preis wollte ich dann doch nicht bezahlen. Ich rechne das er heute nachmittag billiger sein sollte.

Aber ich habe heute morgen mit der Börsenaufsicht telefoniert und damit wenigstens erreicht, das ein Bid und ein Ask gestellt wurden.

Ich hoffe das bleibt so und man kann diesen Wert in Zukunft in Berlin handeln.

TORREON, COAHUILA AND MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Jan 31, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
ECU Silver Mining Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ECU) ("ECU") and Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GOG) ("Golden Tag") are pleased to report high grade mineralization was intersected in step-out drilling on the Montanez Vein, San Diego property, Durango State, Mexico.

Three recent drill holes intersections in the Montanez vein have returned:

- 3,680 grams silver per tonne (g/t Ag) with 7.85 % lead and 10.9 % zinc over 0.75 metres (2.5 feet) in hole SD-06-01;

- 2,801 g/t Ag with 8.89 % lead and 6.13 % zinc over 1.05 metres (3.4 feet) in hole SD-06-01A, including:

-- 5,030 g/t Ag with 14.8 % lead and 8.63% zinc over 0.55 m (1.8 feet);

- 1,254 g/t Ag with 0.91 % lead and 2.24 % zinc over 0.55 metres (1.8 feet) in hole SD-06-10;

- Stringer and skarn-type mineralization continues to be encountered in all drill holes and includes higher grade areas such as:

-- 1.07 g/t Au and 550 g/t Ag with 3.46% lead and 5.69% zinc over 0.83 metres (2.75 feet) in hole SD-06-01.

It is noteworthy that holes SD-06-01 and SD-06-01A, laterally 12 metres (39.36 feet) apart, as well as hole SD-06-10, all intersected the Montanez vein within diorite and are situated 135 metres (442.8 feet) east of an intersection within the Montanez vein grading 1,016 g/t Ag over 1.16 m (3.80 feet) obtained in limestone with associated skarns in hole SD-06-02 (see Press Release: December 7th, 2006). Silver values of 3,680 g/t Ag (SD-06-01) and 5,030 g/t Ag (SD-06-01A) from fire assaying with gravimetric finish were reported over intersection lengths of 0.75 m (2.5 feet) and 0.55 m (1.8 feet) respectively in both new Montanez vein intersections. The silver-rich mineralization in the veins is associated with lead and zinc-rich massive sulphides hosted within with Quartz-Fluorite-Carbonate breccias within moderately fractured and carbonatized diorite. Both holes were terminated within broken ground related to a broad fault zone and before intersecting the La Cruz or La Rata veins.

Readers are cautioned that until a complete pre-feasibility study is completed, there are no assurances that these mineralized zones will be economically viable nor that future grades will be equal to the latest findings.

Skarn and stringer mineralization

Zinc-silver-bearing stringer-style mineralization reported from initial drilling in hole SD-06-02 continues to be encountered within and adjacent to the diorite intrusion. This style of mineralization has been encountered in all holes to date. Assessment of the distribution, character and potential of this style of mineralization will be made after additional drilling and interpretation. Highlights from recently returned assays in hole SD-06-01 include:

- 381 g/t Ag, 0.11% Pb and 0.12% Zn over 0.5 m (1.6 feet) (from 13.2 to 13.7 m) - from an oxidized vein;

- 1.07 g/t Au, 550 g/t Ag, 3.46% Pb and 5.69% Zn over 0.83 m (2.7 feet) (from 104.1 to 104.93 m).

"We are pleased with all the data collected to date on the San Diego JV property with Golden Tag. The quality of the latest results justify further drilling on the property once the current program is completed as the continuity of the veins as well as the grades have exceeded our expectations," noted, Mr. Michel Roy, Chairman and CEO of ECU Silver Mining.

Diamond drilling at the San Diego property is continuing with two holes currently underway and one hole remaining to complete the 3,500 metre Phase 1 exploration program initiated in September 2006. Three of seven known veins on the property are being targeted, on a wide spaced pattern of drilling along the La Cruz, La Rata and Montanez veins. The program of exploration is the first modern exploration on the property and is supervised by joint venture partner ECU Silver Mining Inc. An additional phase of diamond drilling is presently in the planning stage and it is expected that this work will commence after completion of the three remaining Phase 1 holes.

Readers are cautioned that until a complete pre-feasibility study is completed, there are no assurances that these mineralized zones will be economically viable nor that future grades will be equal to the latest findings.

Quality Control:

The San Diego drilling program is supervised by Ms. Kateri Marchand, P.Geol. and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines. Assay samples are taken from NQ size drill core cut in half with one half sent to a commercial laboratory and other half retained for future reference. All the samples represent the core length and may not be representative of the true width. A strict QA/QC program is followed which includes mineralized standards and blanks for each batch of samples. Analyses were performed by ALS Chemex accredited assay laboratories of Guadalajara (Mexico) and Vancouver (Canada). Check samples are also routinely sent to SGS assay laboratory of Durango (Mexico).

Vor allem bis jetzt hat diesen Wert noch kaum jemand in Deutschland entdeckt. In wonline ist er ja auch fast nicht zu finden. In Deutschland Handel bisher nur in Berlin und kaum einer handelt.
Das wird sich aber hoffentlich bald ändern, ein Volumen in Kanada von bereits mehr als 1 Mio spricht Bände und sollte dann auch in Deutschland nicht mehr übersehen werden.

Ich würde heute versuchen noch mal welche zu bekommen. Schau dir nur die Möglichkeiten dieses Wertes an:

1. Gestern kam die Meldung, mit der ich am wenigsten gerechnet habe. Sie haben in ihrem Red Lake property ein neues Goldgebiet gefunden. Überleg nur mal, da bohrt man 1000m tief ein Loch, und was findet man GOLD. Die haben genau die Erzader getroffen und es besteht hier die Möglichkeit zu einer neuen Goldmine.

2. Aquilon - hier stehen Ergebnisse von ihrem Drilling aus, da es nicht das erste Drilling auf dieser Property ist, können die Meldungen nicht komplett negativ ausfallen, es besteht vielmehr die Möglichkeit, das sie mit einer ebenfalls potentiellen Goldmine kommt. Diese aber bereits fortgeschrittener als das Drilling an Red Lake.

3. SAN DIEGO - hier haben sie ebenfalls bereits einen Anteil an 2 Mio OZ Silver. Nun sind aber die Tiefenbohrungen gefolgt und wir erwarten Ergebnisse. Wenn die ähnliche Ergebnisse liefert wie das Drilling von ECU auf dem Nachbargrundstück, dann möchte ich gerne wissen was passiert.
ECU hat bei dem damaligen Fund einen Riesensatz gemacht, wenn die das gleiche finden, auch wenn ihnen dann nur die Hälfte davon gehört, werden sie einen viel grösseren Satz machen, denn die Dillution von Golden Tag ist < 20% von der von ECU.
Dazu die 2 anderen Projekte.

Ich denke man kann ohne Gefahr auch beim jetzigen Preis noch einsteigen. Die Nachrichten zu den beiden anderen Properties können jeden Tag kommen. Wenn ich wüsste, das sie noch 4 Wochen brauchen würde ich sagen abwarten der Kurs kommt noch einmal zurück. Wer sagt uns aber, das nicht heute Aquilon und am Donnerstag San Diego kommt und wir die Woche bei 2.- abschliessen.
Also einsteigen und nicht zulange warten, oder abwarten und Glück haben oder dem Kurs hinterherschauen.

property, Durango State, Mexico, are returning excellent values in silver with
commonly associated high-grade lead and zinc mineralization. Fifteen wide-spaced
drill holes have to date confirmed:
• the continuity of five of the principal veins both along strike and to depth
across the property. Drilling shows that all veins (Montanez, La Rata, La Cruz,
Cantarranas, El Jal) remain open at depth;
• Veining on the property is also associated with broad zones of polymetallic
mineralization as skarn zones, as sulphide rich stringer and breccia zones,
and/or in association with up to a 40 metre-wide fault zones;
• Results from the drilling support significant potential for large tonnage zones in
the area of the western side of the central diorite intrusion, particularly at
depth.
Two holes (SD-07-13 and -15) have been completed but assays are currently
unavailable. Three additional holes (P2, P3 and P4 of Figure 1) in the northwest sector of
the property testing the lateral extension of strong mineralization in the La Rata and La
Cruz Veins are in progress. Future work is planned to test the central area of the property
where broad zones of mineralization have been encountered as skarns, stringer zones or
in association with broad fault zones.
Golden Tag and ECU Silver initiated the first program of diamond drilling ever undertaken
on the property in September 2006. A total of 17 wide-spaced holes for 5,268 metres of
drilling have been completed to date, Figure 1. Results from drilling are summarized in
Tables 1 and 2 (also available at www.goldentag.ca ). Highlights of these results are
discussed below as “Principal Polymetallic Veins” and as “Broad Zones of Polymetallic
Mineralization”.
A/ Principal Polymetallic Veins:
The Montanez Vein has been confirmed over a strike length in excess of 600 metres.
The vein strikes ESE and dips 80S and remains open for expansion to east and at depth.
Highlights from drilling include:
o 3,680 g/t Ag over 0.75 m (SD-06-01) with 7.85% Pb and 10.90% Zn;
o 2,764 g/t Ag over 1.05 m (SD-06-01A) with 8.89% Pb and 6.13% Zn;
o 1,016 g/t Ag over 1.16 m (SD-06-02); and
o 116 g/t Ag over 4.55 m (SD-07-12) with 2.07 % Pb and 2.13 % Zn.
Locally, a second vein has been discovered adjacent to the Montanez Vein, the Monta B
Vein (Table 2), and has returned similar high grade results:
o 1,245 g/t Ag over 0.55m (SD-06-10) with 0.91% Pb and 2.24% Zn; and,
o 550 g/t Ag over 0.83 m (SD-06-01) with 3.46% Pb and 5.69% Zn.
The vein is open at depth.
The La Cruz Vein has been confirmed over a strike distance in excess of 350 metres
and remains open for further extension (proposed holes P2, P3, P4). The vein strikes
ESE and dips 60-70S. Highlights from drilling include:
o 337 g/t Ag over 0.92 m (SD-06-04);
o 520 g/t Ag over 1.55 m (SD-06-10A).
The vein intersects and crosses the La Rata vein at depth. In the area of intersection
wallrocks are often brecciated/fractured over a wide interval and mineralization consists
of stringer-style skarn-hosted mineralization occurring near the large, central diorite
intrusion which cores the property:
o 237 g/t Ag over 10.61 m (SD-06-02) with 3.65 % Pb, 1.67 % Zn.
The eastern extension of the vein may merge with skarn contact zones. The vein remains
open in both strike directions but more to the West. The vein is open at depth.
The La Rata Vein has been confirmed over a distance in excess of 350m and remains
open for further expansion. The vein strikes E-W and is sub-vertical, crossing the La Cruz
vein in a wide stringer zone at depth. Widths in the vein also appear to increase with
depth. Highlights from drilling include:
o 301 g/t Ag over 1.0 m (SD-06-04) ; and,
o 367 g/t Ag over 1.50 m (SD-06-05)
The La Rata Vein contributes to the wide breccia - fracture –skarn style of mineralization
in hole SD-06-02. The vein remains open on strike in both directions but more to the
West. The vein is open at depth.
The El Jal Vein has a drill confirmed strike length in excess of 300-400 metres. The vein
trends NE and dips 60SE. Highlights from drilling include:
o 1,000 g/t Ag over 0.20m (SD-06-09) with 20.3% Pb and 7.53% Zn; and,
o 691 g/t Ag over 0.90 m (SD-07-14) with 6.2% Pb and 4.24% Zn.
The vein remains open in both direction and assays from hole -13 are pending.
The Cantarranas Vein has been confirmed over strike length of 200m. The vein strikes
eastward and dips at 90 degrees. Highlights from drilling include:
o 767 g/t Ag over 0.90 m (SD-07-11) with 9.29% Pb and 8.94% Zn
o 1,314 g/t Ag over 0.85 m (SD-07-12) with 11.99% Pb and 3.85% Zn.
Only cursory drilling has been undertaken on two additional vein sets on the property – El
Trovador and San Jose. In addition to the known veins and the Monta B Vein discovery,
several other veins have been identified during the program. These remain largely uncorrelated
and open for expansion. In particular, the SD Vein, occurring near surface and
lying just north of the Cantarras vein, returned very significant values of 1,130, 1,090 and
1,725 g/t Ag (Table 2) over narrow widths. This vein remains open at depth and along
strike.
Topography on the property changes abruptly going from north to south. The Trovador
Vein located near the southern property limit lies at 1,450 m of elevation, while the most
northerly El Jal Vein is at 1, 350 m. This situation increases the mining potential of the
main Veins, and more especially the La Cruz and La Rata Veins that would be readily
amenable to extraction from adits located on hill side.
B/ Broad Zones of Polymetallic Mineralization
Drill results confirm that the La Rata/La Cruz and Montanez Veins are associated with
broad mineralized Fault Zones (FZ) and that these structures become wider at depth.
The three veins differ from the Cantarranas and El Jal Veins which represent narrow
veins infilling pre-existing fractures. In current drilling the broad fault zones represent
wide areas of enhanced rock permeability due to microfracturing of the wall rocks in the
fault zones. The zones act as conduits for circulation of ore-bearing hydrothermal fluids
and these zones may be linked to an underlying epithermal system.
Hole SD-07-07, drilled 150 m below the previously reported intersection of 237 g/t Ag,
3.65 % Pb, 1.67 % Zn over 10.61 m from hole SD-06-02 (December, 2006) clearly
shows that the Rata Vein coincides with a FZ that is getting wider at depth. In hole #07,
silver, lead & zinc stringer-type mineralization was encountered in a Fault Zone over a
100-m long intercept (40 m true width) for which detailed results are given in Table 1.
This intersection compares with holes #03 and #02, drilled above hole #07 and on the
same section, that respectively returned true width intersections of 3m (SD-06-03) and
6m (SD-06-02) for the Rata Vein. Hole SD-07-07 confirms both the continuity and the
width increase of the structure at depth.
Sulphide-bearing stringers within the FZ occur in a skarn package intruded by porphyritic
monzonite sills. Some massive pyrite sections were also encountered in which gold
values of 1.15 g/t Au over 2 m (including 2.65 g/t Au over 0.65 m) were obtained for
the first time in the campaign and support the potential for an underlying epithermal
system.
Drill holes SD-06-09 and SD-07-12 test the south-eastern extension of the Montanez
Vein and also show that, in this sector, the Montanez Vein is hosted in a wide FZ that
truncates the southern contact of a small diorite stock.
Drill hole # 09 intersects a near-surface, 13.45 m-long FZ that returned 119 g/t Ag over
2.30 m (from 13.70 to 16 m) and, 169 g/t Ag with 0.6 % Zn over 3.55 m (from 23.60 to
27.15 m).
Hole SD-07-12 intersected the FZ at depth from 386 to 398.90 m (12.90m along hole).
Best results for this zone are: 0.331 g/t Au, 67 g/t Ag, 1.32 % Pb and 1.29 % Zn over
12.90 m including, 0.47 g/t Au, 116 g/t Ag, 2.07 % Pb and 2.13 % Zn over 4.55 m. These
results were obtained from a microfractured porphyritic monzonite with sections of semimassive
to massive sulphides.
Readers are cautioned that until a pre-feasibility study is completed, there are no
assurances that these mineralized zones will be economically viable.
Golden Tag Resources and ECU are encouraged by the results of the current drilling
program. There remains very good potential for future drilling to confirm the continued
depth extension of high grade, polymetallic veins. In addition, good upside discovery
potential occurs for skarn, stringer and fault-related zones of mineralization within a
deeper epithermal system.
Quality Control:
The San Diego drilling program is supervised by Ms. Kateri Marchand, P.Geol. and
Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines and has confirmed all
disclosures in this release.. Assay samples are taken from NQ/BQ size drill core cut in
half with one half sent to a commercial laboratory and other half retained for future
reference. All the samples represent the core length and may not be representative of the
true width. A strict QA/QC program is followed which includes mineralized standards and
blanks for each batch of samples. Analyses were performed by ALS Chemex accredited
assay laboratories of Guadalajara (Mexico) and Vancouver (Canada). Check samples
are also sent to SGS assay laboratory of Durango (Mexico).

Das kommt mir doch sehr bekannt vor! Klingt wirklich wie bei ECU Silver.

Aber die Grades sind noch besser, wenn ich es richtig sehe...
Das Gebiet gehört Golden Tag zwar nur zur Hälfte, aber wenn man die MK vergleicht:

Ecu Silver ca. 500 Mio. CAD
Golden Tag ca. 20 Mio. CAD


dann weiss man, was kommen kann!

Und das ist ja nicht das einzige JV von GOG, ich muss mich da aber erst informieren... Offenbar wurde auch eine Menge Gold gefunden.

Ja, am Montag haben sie einen Fund in Red Lake gemeldet. Dort haben sie zwar erst wenige Bohrungen, es sieht aber nach einem neuen Bohrgebiet mit ein paar Millionen Ounzen aus.

Ausserdem stehen noch die Ergebnisse ihres dritten Gebietes aus. Dort könnte sich ein Vorkommen ebenfalls mit mehreren Millionen Ounzen befinden.

Zwar gehört Golden Tag jeweils nur etwa die Hälfte, aber die Hälfte von sehr viel ist auch noch viel.

Am besten an der heutigen Nachricht gefällt mir folgender Satz:

Wenn die dort wirklich ein gold und silberhaltiges epithermales System finden, dann würde das heissen, das die property ein paar hundert Millionen wert ist. Ecu hat nur seine skarns, ein epithermales System würde dann der Motherload zum Gebiet von Ecu darstellen. Momentan hat GoG nur rund 35 Mio Aktien FD, das heisst, ein epithermales gold und silberhaltiges Gebiet könnte den Preis pro Aktie leicht in den zweistelligen Bereich heben. (auch wenn Gog nur die Hälfte davon gehört)

Ich bin gespannt, wie heute Kanada diese Meldung aufnimmt.

Was willst du uns mit dem Chart sagen ?

Sieht wirklich nicht so gut aus momentan, aber wie es weitergeht steht da leider nicht drin.

Heute waren es trotz des Marktverhaltens sehr gute Nachrichten, am Montag das waren wenigstens gute Nachrichten.

Die Fa ist aktuell mit weniger als 20 Mio FD bewertet. Dafür bekommt man Beteiligungen an 3 Projekten.

1) Red Lake
2) San Diego, Mexiko
3) Aquilon

Bei den ersten beiden haben wir diese Woche Zwischenrergebnisse. Beide sind erfolgreich in der Arbeit. Beim 3. fehlen noch die Ergebnisse.

Golden Tag bietet das typische Chartbild eines Grassrootjuniors. Allerdings ist auch der Aufwärtstrend zu sehen, noch vor Kurzem wurde ein neues Hoch generiert. Der MACD zeigt an, dass der derzeitige Aufwärtstrend vermutlich noch nicht vorbei ist. Das OBV ist etwas wild, zeigt aber klar nach oben. Die 0,60 haben gehalten und könnten einen idealen Einstiegszeitpunkt bieten nach den beiden letzten News.

Noch ein Nachtrag:


Ist euch aufgefallen, dass Golden Tag gerne im Aufwärtstrend einen Rücksetzter bekommt, um dann regelrecht im Kurs zu explodieren?

Im September 2006 von 0,38 auf 0,30, danach in einem Sprung auf 0,60 - 100%.

Im Dezember 2006 von 0,50 auf 0,40, danach in einem Riesensatz auf 0,70 - 75%.

Im April 2007 von 0,85 auf 0,60 - danach in einem Sprung auf 1,10?


Möglich wärs, der MACD war jedesmal so wie er jetzt ist, und das Kursmuster passt bisher auch. Allerdings sollte man sich danach mit dem Verkaufen beeilen, es ging auch immer schnell wieder runter.

weisst du aber was das schreckliche daran ist.
Die melden mehr als 15g Gold über 3 m und der Markt ignoriert das ganze.
Wenn der Kurs nicht so schlecht wäre würde ich jetzt am liebsten verkaufen. Die können sonst was melden und der Kurs wird nicht steigen. Vielleicht mal in 2 oder 3 Jahren, bis dahin ist das hier totes Kapital.
Ich habe keine Ahnung warum so wenig bei solchen Ergebnissen zuschlagen.

im Augenblick traut sich niemand so richtig. Alle denken, wenns kracht, gehen die Explorer auch mit runter, das ist wohl der Haupt-
grund.
Aber die Ergebnisse werden besser und mehr werden.
Es ist ja nicht das einzige Projekt. Der Coach begeistert auch
nicht gerade die Massen im Stockhouse über GOG, ist wohl nicht mehr investiert.
Aber denk mal an die Bewertung zur ECU, was da noch alles kommen
könnte. Von mir gibt es kein Stück.
Denk mal an die Worte von Silbereagle, lies es dir immer wieder durch. Er hat Recht.
Sieh mal, im März 2006 hat er von der Goldquest -GQC- geschrieben und erklärt, was da möglich ist.
Vorige Woche kam dann sie Nachricht und der Markt hat es erkannt.
Silbereagles Tips sind nichts für Zocker. Durchhalten und auch mal
Rückschläge hinnehmen, das hat er mir beigebracht.
Der Silberpreis wird steigen und unsere GOG mit.

Unsere Golden Tag wird schon noch sonnige Zeiten bekommen.

Das die Golden Tag noch bessere Zeiten sehen wird, davon gehe ich aus, sonst wäre ich hier nicht schon seit längerem investiert.
Ausserdem viel schlechter geht es ja wohl auch nicht mehr.

Was die Projekte angeht Partner von Ecu zu sein und hier an einem Projekt beteiligt zu sein, wo man am Ende vielleicht 2 Mio Oz Gold findet ist ja schon mal nicht schlecht.
Dazu das Red Lake Projekt zu 40%, wo jeder weiss, das wenn man dort fündig ist dies eine katapultierende Wirkung auf Gog haben könnte ist noch viel besser.
Was aus Aquilon wird ist momentan schwer abschätzbar, da war bisher nur eine Fussnote in einer anderen Meldung. Hatte sich eher nicht so positiv angehört.
Alles zusammen sollte zu einem deutlichen Anstieg führen, frustrierend ist dann nur wie der Markt auf eine ich denke wirklich überaus positive Nachricht reagiert. Wenn das so weitergeht schluckt uns ECU noch für peanuts und bekommt dadurch wieder 100% in dem Gemeinschaftsprojekt. Warum sollten die nicht mal schnell 20 Mio hinlegen. Sie bekämen dadurch 100% im eigenen Projekt, den Anteil am Red Lake Projekt und Aquilon. Das wäre doch ein lohnendes Geschäft und wenn sie vorher noch auf den Gog Kurs drücken, dann wirds noch billiger.
Eyh, die finden hier eine neue Goldmine und keiner merkts.

Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GOG; "Golden Tag") and ECU Silver Mining Inc. (TSX:ECU; "ECU") are pleased to report additional diamond drill hole results from its exploration program initiated in October 2007 on the San Diego property, Durango State, Mexico. Final results from two additional holes, SD-07-20 and SD-07-22, drilled on the eastern flank of the central Dioritic Intrusion, continue to expand mineralization associated with the Montanez Vein and confirm the presence of extensive new zone s of Green Skarn hosting Silver-Lead-Zinc mineralization. The two holes confirm:

- Presence of wide zones of mineralized green skarn (Exoskarn). Previous drilling encountered wide zones of mineralization in Endoskarns associated with microfractured and altered intrusive rocks such as diorite and monzonite. This is the first time that wide zones of limestone hosted alteration and mineralization (exoskarns) have been encountered.

- Extensive nature of mineralization at depth around the central Diorite Intrusion and the Monzonite sill in the immediate footwall to the Montanez Zone. Hole SD-07-22 encountered mineralization over the last 150 metres of the hole within altered limestone (marble and exoskarns) and altered monzonite (endoskarns). The true thickness of the skarn is estimated to be 40 metres and metal content improves at depth from hole -20 to hole 22.

- Large diversity of mineralized environments at San Diego that goes well beyond the initial high grade - narrow vein type of mineralization that attracted the attention of the JV partners.

Results from the two recently reported holes in the footwall to the Montanez Vein and conversion factors used to convert to silver equivalents are shown in Table 1. Highlights include:

HOLE SD-07-20

- High Grade Ag Stringers north of the Montanez Vein

-- 344 g/t Ag over 1.51 metres (m) with 1.30% Lead (Pb) and 2.41% Zinc (Zn) (Ag+Ag Equiv. 456 g/t Ag) in hole SD-07-20 from 154.18 to 155.69 m.

-- 4,420 g/t Ag over 0.58 m with 5.26% Pb and 7.11% Zn (Ag+Ag Equiv. 4,782 g/t Ag) in hole SD-07-20 from 164.60 to 165.18 m.

David Rigg, CEO Golden Tag stated that "Phase 3 exploration drilling to date has confirmed the existence of broad zones of mineralization at depth on the property. The additional new discovery of a mineralized Green skarn environment as part of the system of mineralized veins and intrusion related zones provides additional support that the property hosts a strong and substantial mineralizing system related to the central Diorite and the Monzonite Sill. Several areas on the property have been confirmed to contain broad and continuous zones of mineralization and offer large upside potential to resources from the delineation of bulk tonnage zones laterally and at depth."

Holes SD-07-20 and -22:

SD-07-20 targeted the Montanez Vein at 150 m below surface whereas SD-07-22 targeted the vein 300 m below this, at a vertical depth of 450 m. Both holes failed to reach the Montanez Vein and the Hangingwall Zone due to technical drilling problems caused by fault zones. Holes -20 and -22 intersected a marble section hosting several isolated thin sulphide stringers bearing galena-sulfosalts mineralization. Assay grades as high as 4,420 g/t Ag over 0.58 m have been returned from this area. The silver-rich stringers are best developed in hole -20, where deformation is not as intense as in hole -22. The stringer system can be projected 100 to 150 metres to the west into the Diorite Stock in holes SD-06-09 and 06-10 respectively. This area also hosts the Cantarranas Vein recognized in previous drilling.

The new Green Skarn Zone is located down-hole of the stringer zone, and in the immediate footwall of the northwest-southeast trending Monzonite Sill. It consists of a broad interval of argillic-silica altered limestones with centimetric, massive sulphide stringers of pyrite-galena-sphalerite with associated chlorite-hematite alteration. Central to this zone and widening to depth is a second altered and mineralized monzonite sill. Visual indications and assay grades from the two holes confirm an increasing metal content to depth associated with more intense alteration and deformation. SD-07-22 cuts a 33-m long zone (11 metre estimated true width) of Green skarn wedged between the Central Diorite intrusive and the Monzonite Sills, the association of which may explain the increasing quality of the deformation-alteration and resulting mineralization at depth. This trend and the apparent greater complexity of the Monzonite and Diorite at depth, are very encouraging for future drilling and the deeper potential in the system.

The current budget will be increased to 8,000 m of drilling to complete three additional drill holes from a drill station to the south. Road construction in this area is well advanced. This drilling will further evaluate the Footwall zones and complete testing of the Hanging wall and principal Montanez Vein in this area.

Golden Tag Resources and ECU initiated the Phase 3 drilling program in October 2007 with the xobjective of expanding recently evaluated Mineral Resources on the property and improving resource quality in several areas of the Resource. To date, a total of 5,500 metres of drilling has been performed. Assay results have been returned from only 4 of the 15 holes completed.

Quality Control:

The drilling program is supervised by Ms. Kateri Marchand, P.Geo. and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines and she has confirmed all disclosures in this release. Assay samples are taken from NQ/BQ size drill core cut in half with one half sent to a commercial laboratory and other half retained for future reference. A strict QA/QC program is followed which includes mineralized standards and blanks for each batch of samples. Analyses were performed by ALS Chemex accredited assay laboratories of Guadalajara (Mexico) and Vancouver (Canada).

San Diego Mineral Resources

Mineral Resources on the San Diego property from Phase 1 and 2 drilling completed in May, 2007, were estimated to be 370,852 Tonnes grading 245 g/t Ag, 1.80% Pb, 1.33% Zn & 0.339 g/t Au for a total of 3,979,526 ounces silver equivalent in the Indicated category; and 4,976,461 Tonnes grading 167 g/t Ag, 1.25% Pb, 1.26% Zn & 0.163 g/t Au for a total of 38,403,639 ounces silver equivalent in the Inferred category (See Press Release Jan 28, 2008). The Resource Estimate was completed by Kateri Marchand, P.Geo, Exploration Manager on the San Diego Project, and independently audited and verified by William J. Lewis, P.Geo, MICON International Ltd., qualified persons as defined under NI 43-101 guidelines. Silver equivalency is calculated using the same commodity prices and metal recovery factors used in the San Diego 43-101 Resource Estimate Report: Details are provided in footnote to Table1. Readers are cautioned that until a pre-feasibility study is completed, there are no assurances that these mineralized zones will be economically viable.

ECU Silver Mining Inc. is focused on the exploration, development and mining of gold, silver and base metals at its Velardena District Properties in Durango, Mexico. The area includes five historical mines - Santa Juana, Terneras, San Mateo, San Juanes, and the San Diego mine. ECU is defining the "Mineralized Corridor" at Santa Juana and also further defining several higher grade narrow veins within the area. ECU's mission is to become a pre-eminent silver producer through the development of existing, and additional potential resources at Velardena.

Golden Tag Updates Resource Estimate-Confirms Discovery of New Major Silver-Lead-Zinc Deposit at San Diego Project in Durango State, Mexico

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Dec 10, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (GOG) ("Golden Tag") is very pleased to report results of a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate ("Resource Estimate") on its' 50% owned San Diego Joint Venture Project in Durango State, Mexico; received from joint venture partner and project manager ECU Silver Mining Inc ("ECU Silver") who owns the remaining 50% interest. Results from 18 new diamond drill holes, along with extensions of 2 previous holes, completed in very successful Phase 3 and 4 drilling programs in 2007-2008, have contributed to a very significant growth in mineral resources. Results confirm that the San Diego Property hosts a large, new Silver-Lead-Zinc Deposit on trend with the Santa Juana Mine (ECU Silver) and the Santa Maria Mine (Penoles) mines in the Velardena District which have seen metal production throughout the last century. All available results from Phase 3 and 4 drilling at San Diego have been incorporated into the new resource evaluation. The Phase 4 drilling program remains currently underway and only those results available at the time of the completion of the Resource Estimate in late November could be included. Total mineral resources on the property have increased almost five fold from previous estimates (see press release December 12, 2007) with mineral resources now standing at:

- INDICATED RESOURCES:

370,852 TONNES GRADING 245 Ag g/t, 1.80 % Pb, 1.33 % Zn and 0.339 Au g/t

- INFERRED RESOURCES;

21,638,614 TONNES GRADING 110 Ag g/t, 1.84 % Pb, 2.21 % Zn and 0.134 Au g/t

San Diego JV partners Golden Tag and ECU Silver each own 50% of the estimated mineral resources. The Resource Estimate (Table 1) was completed by operator ECU Silver and independently audited and approved by William J. Lewis, P.Geo, MICON International Limited, a qualified person as defined under NI 43-101 guidelines. A report of the Resource Estimate will be filed on SEDAR within 45 days.

The resources represent:

- INDICATED RESOURCE OF 4.29 MILLION OUNCES OF SILVER EQUIVALENT

- INFERRED RESOURCE OF 218.1 MILLION OUNCES OF SILVER EQUIVALENT

The Resource Estimate is constrained to areas on the property where drilling has been undertaken during four phases of recent exploration. It does not include several areas within the San Diego Property where potential exists to further expand the mineral resource. Many of the veins and wider stringer zones remain open at depth. Similarity with the geology of the nearby Santa Juana and Santa Maria Mines has led to an estimate of the mineral potential within the property. The additional Mineral Potential on the property, as reviewed by Micon is:

MINERAL POTENTIAL OF 173.5 to 389.5 MILLION OUNCES OF SILVER EQUIVALENT

The mineral potential of the San Diego property is defined beyond the mineral resources currently outlined and has not been included in the mineral resource estimate.

Silver equivalent ounces are calculated from gold, lead and zinc using conversion factors of 78.51 g/t Ag per 1 g/t Au, 49.90 g/t Ag per 1% Pb and 46.47 g/t Ag per 1% Zn. Conversion factors take into account processing metal recovery factors, as well as, smelter returns from sales of concentrates to MK Metals Trading S.A. de C.V., a division of Nexxtrade ("MK Metals"), with whom ECU recently entered into an agreement for the purchase of lead and zinc concentrates from the operations at Velardena. Recovery factors of 64.6 % for silver, 73.12 % for lead, 47.88 % for Zn and 43.63 % for Au were used for sulphide material with 78% for gold and 55% for silver for the oxides. Commodity prices of US$775/oz for gold, US$14/oz for silver, US$0.90/lb for lead and US$1.28/lb for zinc used in the estimate are based on the 3-year trailing averages for each metal plus 6% for gold and 3% for silver to allow for an upside in the resources.

Five principal mineralized structures, the Montanez, Cantarranas, San Jose, Ag-Zone and Mid Zone, contribute 80% of the increase to the mineral resources. These zones correspond to the new massive sulphide carbonate-replacement type mineralization encountered in drilling this Fall (see press releases November 4 and October 17, 2008) as well as to the broader mineralized zones of stringers and veins developed in a skarn-type environment along and within the eastern portion of the diorite intrusive coring the centre of the property. Estimated Resources extend from surface down to vertical depth of between 400 and 600 metres below surface. Oxidized mineralization is mostly encountered near surface and accounts for 50% of Indicated resources. Overall, oxide resources represent only a small portion of the estimated resources (Table 1).

Resource Methodology

Indicated and Inferred Resources were estimated using the polygonal method on longitudinal sections for each of the thirteen veins and/or zones. Polygons were computer generated using ProMine software which also calculated the mineral resource composite grade numbers. Geological interpretation of the mineralized zones was based on stratigraphy, mineralization and structure derived from the diamond drill holes as well as from surface and underground sampling information that was input into MineSight software. All drill holes intercepts were calculated using a 1 metre minimum true width for narrow veins and at 2.70 metres minimum true width for the bulk mining areas, with a near zero grade value allowance for internal dilution.

Undiluted resource were estimated using an NSR value cut-off factor of US$45/t (155 grams per tonne) for narrow, high grade veins based on information derived from previous mining activities on the Velardena Property of ECU Silver. A cut-off value of US$25 per tonne (86 grams per tonne) was used for the bulk tonnage zones based on previous bulk mining tests completed by ECU Silver.

The mineral potential of a property cannot be estimated to the same accuracy as a mineral resource and must be stated as a range. To calculate a range for grades, a factor of minus 10% was applied for the downside (minimum) and plus 10% for the upside (maximum) potential. The maximum dip extension of the Mineral Potential was set at 400 metres and the minimum dip extension at 200 metres based on the known height of the major veins systems, unless the property boundary or a fault was encountered whereupon the dip extent was cut to that distance.

Quality Control

All sample analysis included in the resource estimate were performed by ALS Chemex accredited assay laboratories of Guadalajara and Vancouver. The San Diego drilling program is supervised by Ms. Kateri Marchand, P.Geol. and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines. Assay samples are taken from either NQ, BQ or HQ size drill core, cut in half with one half sent to the laboratory and the other half stored at the project site and retained for future reference. A strict QA/QC program is followed which includes mineralized standards and blanks for each batch of 25 samples. Check samples representing 2.5% of the 10,500 samples taken during the course of the Phase 1 to 3 programs were are also sent to SGS certified laboratory of Durango (Mexico).
