Zukunft WIMAX - Alvarion - 500 Beiträge pro Seite

Hallo,
ich möchte euch mal auf Alvarion aufmerksam machen, da es hier im Board kein aktueller Thread existiert.
Momentan schreiben und lesen viele von der Technologie "WIMAX", die Netzwerke über mehrere Kilometer hinweg verbinden soll. Meiner Meinung nach eine absolute Zukunftstechnologie (nicht wie bei UMTS).
Alvarion aus Israel (an der Nasdaq notiert - nicht OTCBB!!!) ist hier auf diesem Gebiet der absolute Marktführer und hat Kooperationen mit Alcatel, Lucent, Siemens, etc.
Ich bin damals in einem Bericht von Börse Online auf das Unternehmen aufmerksam geworden und seitdem investiert!

ja, zurzeit noch. Weil m.M. viele sich mit dem hochkomplexen Thema WIMAX noch nicht auskennen...
Wir werden sehen, wohin der Weg führt. Ich bin jung und habe Zeit (von mir aus auch 15-20 Jahre) und da sieht die Welt anders aus

na, geht doch ganz gut aufwärts...

keine Wunder, die Q-Zahlen waren nicht schlecht ... auf operativer Basis nah am Break Even und der Ausblick auf das 1.Quartal 07 liegt ebenfalls leicht über den Schätzungen. Mal sehen was Konkurrent Airspan am 28.02.07 für Zahlen präsentieren wird.

bis 6€ ist es nur eine charttechnische reaktion. bei sk über 6€ ist der chart erstmal wieder auf long. da du ziele in 20 jahren genannt hast, werden dich aber zu diesem wert wohl keine kurzfristigen charttechnischen erwägungen treiben, also argumentiere jetzt auch nicht im nachhinein so

In Alvarion bin ich noch nicht investiert, versuche mir aber ein Bild von dem Unternehmen zu machen. Stimmen nachfolgende Daten und meine Folgerungen?

Hauptsächlich kommt der Verlust durch Forschung und Entwicklung zustande, welche notwendig sind, da WIMAX noch in den Kinderschuhen steckt. Aber auch durch teures Marketing, da WIMAX und Alvarion noch ziemlich unbekannt sind.

Mich stöhrt, daß der Umsatz nur leicht gestiegen ist, der Verlust aber verdreifacht wurde.

Hat Alvarion einen Ausblick gegeben, wann der Break-Even erreicht werden soll?

Wenn mich jemand über Alvarion aufklärt - wäre sehr nett.

2008(e) KGV 35

Da momentan Miese gemacht werden, warte ich besser erstmal ab. Viele Unternehmen versprechen für die Zukunft hohe Gewinne, gehen dann aber langsam den Bach runter. Ist mir momentan zu riskant.

Vielleicht in einem halben Jahr oder so...

Clearwire hat sich gestern klar dem Markttrend entzogen.
+0,8% bei 17 Mio US$ Umsatz

Die anderen WiMAX-Titel wie Alvarion und Airspan nicht.
Alvarion: -4,7% bei 4,5 Mio US$ Umsatz
Airspan: -2,9% bei 0,36 Mio US$ Umsatz

Ich kann nur empfehlen in Clearwire umzuschichten.
Intel und Motorola investieren ihr Geld nicht umsonst in den Laden.

Ich persönlich bin seit 20.04. drin und mit ca. 60% im Plus

OVERLAND PARK (Dow Jones)--Der US-Mobilfunkbetreiber Sprint Nextel Corp und der Internetanbieter Clearwire Corp legen ihre Breitband-Sparten zusammen und gründen so einen Breitbandfunkbetreiber. Wie die beiden Unternehmen am Mittwoch mitteilten, wollen sie künftig zusammen den Ausbau eines US-weiten Breitband-Mobilfunknetzes auf Basis der Hochgeschwindigkeits-Technik WiMax voranbringen. So soll den Verbrauchern von Laptops und Mobiltelefonen ein wesentlicher schnellerer Internetzugang ermöglicht werden.

Sprint Nextel wird 51% des Konsortiums halten, das unter dem Namen Clearwire operieren wird, während die derzeitigen Clearwire-Aktionäre 27% der Anteile besitzen werden. Die übrigen 22% werden von einer Reihe von Investoren gehalten, die sich mit insgesamt 3,2 Mrd USD beteiligen: Es handelt sich um Intel Corp, Google Inc, Comcast Corp, Time Warner Cable Inc, Bright House Networks und die Beteiligungsgesellschaft Trilogy Equity Partners.

Merken Sie sich daher schon einmal den Namen der Technologie: WiMAX.
Heißt das, Sie können morgen ein Laptop oder Handy mit einem WiMAX-Chip kaufen und gleich in Breitbandgeschwindigkeit lossurfen?

Leider nicht.

Erinnern Sie sich noch an Ihr erstes Mobiltelefon? Was meine Erinnerungen an mein erstes Mobiltelefon betrifft sage ich nur: Immer auf der Suche nach Empfang!

Und das BESTE: Die Aktie wird auch in Deutschland gehandelt!

klingt ja recht interessant...bin recht neu und auch noch nicht so tief beschäfftigt mit der technologie....kann jemand kurz zusammen was die technologie ist...was alvarion so besonders macht und wieso die zukunft dem unternehmen gehört?
