erhält, rechne ich auch mit einer dunkelgrünen Woche füe MGRM.
Besonders gefällt mir, das mit Pfizer nicht irgendein neuer
Biotech-Star hier die Zulassung beantragt, sondern das weltgrößtes
Pharma-Unternehmen, es sollte aufgrund deren Professionalität und Erfahrung eine sehr reale Aussicht für eine Zulassung vorhanden sein.
Bin mal gespannt, ob und wann die Börsenbriefe den Wert entdecken und anfangen die Sau durchs Dorf zu treiben.
Für morgen hoffe ich aufgrund der Erwartungen mit weiteren 10-15%
Kursanstieg auf 2,60 $ bzw. 1,97 €, nur meine Meinung - wir werden sehen.

Da gibt es noch ein großes Risiko, da die Sache von der Maraviroc-Zulassung abhängt. Die kommt aber vielleicht doch nicht, sondern erstmal nächste Woche eine Anhörung über Zweifel an der Sicherheit von Maraviroc. Eventuell nur für die (geringere Anzahl) Patienten, die gegen aktuelle Präparate resistent sind. Dabei ist Monogram, die ex-Virolog, schon 240 Mio US-$ teuer, also Vorsicht!

Maraviroc is part of a class of drugs called CCR5 antagonists, which block HIV from entering white blood cells through a pathway present in the majority of patients who carry the virus.
While Pfizer did not uncover any cancerous side effects while testing its drug on patients, similar studies by other companies have raised safety concerns. In 2005, for example, British drug maker GlaxoSmithKline plc decided to scrap its drug aplaviroc after signs of liver damage appeared in some patients. Schering-Plough Corp. is continuing trials of a similar drug after reporting several patients developed lymphomas, a form of cancer.
In review documents posted online Friday, FDA says two clinical trials conducted by Pfizer show Maraviroc helped reduce HIV in the blood to undetectable levels when compared with standard treatment.
However, staffers say that patients taking the drug were more likely to have liver-related adverse events than those taking a placebo. Elsewhere, FDA says there appears to be a link between taking Maraviroc and developing fungal and herpes infections. Researchers recorded 17 serious fungal infections among patients taking the drug compared with just two in the placebo group. Similar figures were reported for herpes infections.
If Pfizer's drug is approved it would mainly be marketed to patients who have developed resistance to other HIV-fighting drugs. While the virus can be managed with the more than two dozen drugs already on the market, patients often stop responding to treatments and have to switch to a new one.
Shares of Pfizer Inc. fell 17 cents Friday to $26.90 in midday trading on the New York stock Exchange.

Kauf der MGRM-Shares eingeht.
Bin jedoch hierzu positiv gestimmt, da, wie bereits geschrieben die Firma Pfizer die Zulassung beantragt und selbst bei einer
Verweigerung dieser Zulassung, das Rückschlag-Potential von MGRM
imho bei höchstens 25% liegt, MGRM ist kein One-Trick-Pony

Der erste Schritt ist genommen, der zweite erfolgt mit höchstwahrscheinlicher Sicherheit im Juni mit der endgültigen Zulassung. Noch hat es nach der unabhängigen Expertenempfehlung in 37 Fällen keine Ablehnung der FDA gegeben. Was sich hinter den Kulissen im Vorfeld abspielte war mörderisch: Wie bei Dendreon ist ein hektischer Krieg zwischen Short und Long ausgebrochen. Bin gespannt, wer die Oberhand und Nerven behält. Auf jeden Fall war die Entscheidung richtig, hier mitzumischen. Die nächsten Wochen werden jedenfalls unglaublich spannend und wahrscheinlich so volatil, dass sich das Traden lohnt.

PFE26.15, -0.20, -0.8%) investigational HIV medication, maraviroc, be approved for use along with other antiretroviral agents for treatment-experienced adult patients infected with CCR5-tropic HIV-1. Although not bound by the Advisory Committee's recommendations, the FDA usually follows them.
If approved, maraviroc would be the first member of a new class of oral HIV medicines in more than a decade. Monogram's Trofile(TM) Assay has been used to select patients for the clinical trials of maraviroc.
Information provided by Pfizer to the advisory panel indicates that "the results in treatment-experienced patients with CCR5-tropic versus non CCR5- tropic HIV-1 provide clinical data validating Monogram's Trofile Assay as an effective and appropriate means to identify patients with CCR5-tropic HIV-1 and who are therefore likely to respond to maraviroc."
Over 23,000 Trofile Assays have been performed since 2004 in Monogram's CLIA certified laboratory. Trofile is the only diagnostic proven in clinical studies to identify whether patients are CCR5-tropic and has been used in all clinical trials of CCR5 antagonists to date. In addition, Monogram performs tens of thousands of phenotypic and genotypic resistance tests annually, including the PhenoSenseGT(TM) assay that was used to optimize background therapy in the clinical trials of maraviroc.
"We are ready to make our Trofile Assay available commercially as soon as maraviroc is approved," said Monogram CEO William Young. "We intend to bring Trofile to the HIV physician community through our existing sales, marketing and distribution channels throughout the U.S."
Additional studies are underway to determine maraviroc's effectiveness in treatment-naive patients. Turnaround time for the Trofile Assay is currently approximately two weeks.

PFE26.15, -0.20, -0.8%) investigational HIV medication, maraviroc, be approved for use along with other antiretroviral agents for treatment-experienced adult patients infected with CCR5-tropic HIV-1. Although not bound by the Advisory Committee's recommendations, the FDA usually follows them.
If approved, maraviroc would be the first member of a new class of oral HIV medicines in more than a decade. Monogram's Trofile(TM) Assay has been used to select patients for the clinical trials of maraviroc.
Information provided by Pfizer to the advisory panel indicates that "the results in treatment-experienced patients with CCR5-tropic versus non CCR5- tropic HIV-1 provide clinical data validating Monogram's Trofile Assay as an effective and appropriate means to identify patients with CCR5-tropic HIV-1 and who are therefore likely to respond to maraviroc."
Over 23,000 Trofile Assays have been performed since 2004 in Monogram's CLIA certified laboratory. Trofile is the only diagnostic proven in clinical studies to identify whether patients are CCR5-tropic and has been used in all clinical trials of CCR5 antagonists to date. In addition, Monogram performs tens of thousands of phenotypic and genotypic resistance tests annually, including the PhenoSenseGT(TM) assay that was used to optimize background therapy in the clinical trials of maraviroc.
"We are ready to make our Trofile Assay available commercially as soon as maraviroc is approved," said Monogram CEO William Young. "We intend to bring Trofile to the HIV physician community through our existing sales, marketing and distribution channels throughout the U.S."
Additional studies are underway to determine maraviroc's effectiveness in treatment-naive patients. Turnaround time for the Trofile Assay is currently approximately two weeks.

nichts mehr im Wege steht, die Pfizerbuben sind halt Profis.
Leider wird MGRM in Deutschland bislang noch sehr markteng gehandelt, hab daher vorhin wahrscheinlichb leicht überteuert
noch ne Mini-Position von 1000 Shares nachgekauft aus Überzeugung
hier noch etwas mehr mitmischen zu müssen.
Bin guter Hoffnung mit MGRM einen netten Gewinn einzufahren - da MGRM keine Luftnummer ist, hat imho das Papier nicht nur Potential zum Traden sondern auch als Halteposition - wir werden sehen, bei DNDN wurden die Shorties
am Ende ja auch gegrillt.

Die Days-to-cover-Ratio sind 22 Tage. Im Messageboard macht die Kunde die Runde, es würden "Naked Shares" verkauft: Will heißen, es werden Aktein herumgeschoben, die gar nicht existieren, um den Kurs niedrig zu halten. Tatsächlich gibt es Anzeichen dafür, dass versucht wird, den Kurs niedrig zu halten, um short zu covern. Beinah hätte es einen Ausbruch nach oben gegeben (2,01); dann wurden aber gleich Shares zu 1,97 nachgeschoben. Die Perspektive MGRM stimmt. Bin gespannt, wie lange die Shorts das Spielchen 
durchhalten.

Jetzt kann es losgehen. Die Probleme mit dem Labeling werden in Kürze gelöst sein und 12 Mio Shorts müssen gecovert werden. Na denn lass man krachen!

Shorts werden das ihrige tun. Eigentlich rechne ich heute mindestens mit einem 10% Anstieg. Aber wie sagt schon Sam Hawkins, der erfahrene Trapper (Karl May):" Wenn ich mich nicht irre!"
