da ist ja auch Buffet dick eingestiegen.

Habe eine Info, dass bei Wabtec ein Zulieferer Vertrag mit
Indian Railway geschlossen werden soll???

Find aber keine vernünftigen weiteren Infos oder Diskussionen zu dem Wert, deshal dachte ich wird es mal Zeit einen Thread zu eröffnen!!

Congress is working on new rail safety laws. These laws will mandate
railway safety products. Wabtec is the primary supplier of railway
safety products, and Wabtec's products are FRA approved, I believe
they are the only ones that are FRA approved, which means they are
faster, and cheaper to deploy. Only a small percentage of railroads
use modern train control systems, and many would be forced to update.
Once these laws go into effect Wabtec's sales, and stock will go up
rapidly.

Wabtec Corporation announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Standard Car Truck, a rail equipment supplier, for cash of about $300 million. Based in Park Ridge, Ill., Standard Car Truck has annual sales of about $225 million and manufactures engineered components for locomotives and freight cars. Wabtec expects the transaction to be completed in the fourth quarter and to be accretive in the first year. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and antitrust clearance under the Hart Scott Rodino Act.

Wabtec Corporation announced that it has expanded its presence in South Africa by establishing joint ventures to manufacture, supply and service its broad range of products in the region. Andrae Nieuwoudt will serve as Managing Director of the joint ventures, called Wabtec South Africa and FIP Brakes South Africa (FIPSA). Sibanye Brakes of South Africa is the minority partner in both.
