will einmal einen Thread zu Viking Ashanti eröffenen. War ein IPO vor einigen Tagen in Australien.

Versuche einmal in den nächsten Tagen ein paar Infos hier zu sammeln für alle die es interessiert.

hab schlecht Zeit heute. Gegenwert m.M. 8,8 Mio Cash und 500.000 Unzen Gold bis jetzt!

Habe heute gekauft- wenn Gold haelt, so wie es heute Abend geschlossen hat, also ueber 1240 US$, dann sollte morgen eigentlich eine Gegenreaktion kommen. Der Chart sieht nicht so toll aus - denke aber, dass wir heute einen Stopp-loss Verkauf gesehen haben: Eroeffnung 0,25; TT 0,195 und Schluss bei 0,22 AU$.
Aergerlich sind nur die unverschaemten Kurse der Makler hier.

nach den letzten schwach Tagen heute leicht bergauf! denke bis 0,30 aud kann es sehr schnell gehen!

so..heute nochmal zugegriffen! Bohrungen laufen auf AKOSA...500.000 oz Gold, 7 mio Cash...was will man mehr! antizyklisch geiler Kauf hoffe ich!

Investment Opportunity
Viking Ashanti Limited (“Viking” or “VKA” or the ‘Company’) is led by a respected management team and was established in 2007 to explore for and develop deposits in West Africa. Viking’s flagship asset is the Akoase Gold Project that currently has a JORC inferred resource of ~496koz Au. Other prospective exploration prospects include the West Star / Blue River Project and the Nchiadi / Nyame Project that cover over 440km2 of the Ashanti Gold Belt in Ghana. Viking listed on the ASX on 12th May’10 having raised A$8m at 30c/share to accelerate exploration activities.

Resource Growth: The Company’s main objective is to expand the current resource base to at least 1moz Au within the next 24-months.

Funded to Drill: Over 13,000m of RC drilling plus 2,500m of diamond drilling is planned for Akoase, with further plans for 14,000m RC and 2,500m diamond drilling at West Star / Blue River. First results from the 10-hole programme at West Star / Blue River delivered positive results.

Strong Management Team: Experienced in African exploration and built up and sold Guinor for US$328m cash to Crew Gold Corporation Inc (TSX:CRU) in Q4’05, before the completion of the LEFA corridor gold mine.

Resolute Mining Ltd retains a 33% holding in Viking: Now that Viking holds the assets, the true value can be unlocked with focussed work. Whilst Akoase was discovered in the 1990s, progress was slow (only 496koz in inferred resources), Resolute’s focus was largely on progressing its larger assets into production, and we believe the Akoase and West Star / Blue River assets will now get the proper attention and the pace of development will accelerate.

Right address – Not a New Frontier: Ghana has well-known and proven geology, a competitive fiscal regime and improving political stability. There are numerous multi-million ounce deposits located within and on the margins of the Ashanti Gold Belt including two of the largest gold deposits in the world at Obuasi (24.9moz) and Tarkwa (20.2moz).

Entry Opportunity: Despite the encouraging drilling results that have been announced in the last six weeks there has been weakness in the share price since Viking’s IPO from A$0.30 to current levels around A$0.20. We believe this is an opportunity for entry to the stock which currently has a low EV of US$7m.

Potential to reach >1moz: We believe there is potential for Viking to reach the 1moz milestone in the next 24 months and as such there will be a significant valuation uplift.
Valuation
We feel that our 12 month valuation of A$0.50/share based on an in-situ target resource of reaching 744koz Au at US$40/oz is justified for an exploration company that has an early stage exploration gold asset in a highly-prospective area.

Der September wird hier noch gut, rein vom Gefühl her. Denke mal die werden ordentliche Treffer landen und ihre Resourcen noch verdoppeln können, dann knallts.. Orderbuch sieht auch klasse aus..

oh ja sieht gut aus...nicht mehr viel nach oben drin. habe bereits paar mal gekauft immer kleinere Positionen. Boden ist nun drin und Bohrungen laufen. Fundamental ist das Teil viel zu billig und viel Upside. Cash auch super...also auf gehts!

Interesse ist auch nicht da, sonst würden wir uns hier nicht zu zweit unterhalten

kommt noch & Hauptsache die Aussies werden Aufmerksam. Einige sind ja schon aufgewacht und viel steht nicht mehr im ASK, grad mal 90k bis zur 0,30.

etwas mehr als 20.000 Aus$ bis zur 0,30, erst dort steht ein größerer Block mit 150.000 Stücken. Das Bild auf der Ask Seite sieht schon seit Tagen so dünn aus und auf der Bid Seite wird zaghaft nachgerückt.

..Fundamental betrachtet ist die Aktie ein glasklarer Kauf! Der renommierte Goldproduzent Resolute Mining ist der größte Aktionär mit einem Anteil von über 33%. Der free float ist somit beschränkt und mit der gut gefüllten Unternehmenskasse (über 7 Millionen AUD) muss man auch in den nächsten 6-12 Monaten keine Angst vor weiteren Kapitalerhöhungen haben.

Wir glauben, dass Viking Ashanti die Goldressource von 500.000 Unzen auf dem AKOASE Projekt binnen der nächsten Monate auf 1 Million Unzen steigern kann. Wie lange dann die prominenten Nachbarn dem Treiben noch tatenlos zusehen werden, wissen wir nicht!

Derzeit notiert die Aktie satte 40% unter dem IPO-Preis vom Mai 2010 und wir sehen bei Käufen auf dem aktuellen Niveau eine fast sichere 100% Chance! Zukaufen oder Positionen nun verstärkt aufbauen!

Geringer free float und prominente Nachbarn, das Gefällt mir
Lass die mal ein paar gute Treffer landen, die sind bei dem Bohrprogramm mit dieser Liegenschaft mehr als nur drin, dann wirds richtig spannend. Die ersten Resultate kommen voraussichtlich auch schon Mitte September.

..Insgesamt werden hier in den nächsten Wochen 10 Bohrlöcher niedergebracht um die aktuelle Ressource von 500.000 Unzen Gold schnell nach oben zu fahren! Erste Resultate werden für Mitte September erwartet!

Zudem sollen bis Mai 2011 kontinuierlich weitere Bohrungen über eine Gesamlänge von 15.000 Metern auf den Projekten durchgeführt werden. Hierfür verhandelt das Unternehmen gerade mit einem lokalen Bohrunternehmen um sich die Bohrgeräte für die nächsten Monate komplett zu reservieren!

"The drilling will involve some infill drilling, but mainly extension drilling at depth, to upgrade and expand the existing resource. Extension of the drilling contract with Minerex will allow us to be drilling on a more or less continuous basis on our two main projects for the next seven months.”

The rig is operating on double shift, and at the assumed drill penetration rates and hole depths, the initial 10 hole program is expected to be completed by end of September.

Soil sampling is in progress on the strike extensions of the Akoase mineralized trend, to the north east of the current resource.

This extra 1 strike km of sampling will complete the soil sampling coverage to the northern boundary of the Akoase East licence.

da steht alles drin und gibts m.M. nach auch nix zu wackeln dran. obs 40,50 oder 80 cent werden kommt auf die Ergebnisse an.

Auf jeden Fall glaube ich, dass ab 1 mio Unzen Übernahmegefahr durch die großen in Ghana besteht, was mir dann auch recht sein soll

naja bei einem IPO Preis von 0,30 AUD logisch! sind halt paar durchgedreht und haben blind verkauft! Resolute Mining und Vorstände halten ordentlich Aktien!

Ich auch, aber was solls.. Eine kleinere Posi kann ich wohl glattstellen..

Aber mal im Ernst, unter 22Mio zum 30.06 nur noch im Freefloat, z.Zt. wohl noch weniger. Das ist garnix...Kein Wunder das das Ask so dünn aussieht.
Überlege stark hier weiter aufzustocken.

hab schon dreimal gekauft und hab noch Pulver trocken für vka.

Ich habe einige andere aussi Unternehmen mit Projekten in Ghana angeschaut, wenn VKA nur halbwegs eine solche Bewertung erreicht, muss die Aktie auf 0,70 - 1 AUD steigen. Ab 1 Mio OZ wirds interessant, dann kann das Projekt entwder billig in Prod. gebracht werden oder ein anderer wird sie übernehmen!

Genau das hab ich auch gelesen und mein Kursziel liegt auch in deinem Bereich, für die nächsten zwölf Monate. Wenn die ersten Resultate in den nächsten Wochen hier gut ausfallen und ein wenig Kaufpanik aufkommt, dann rappelts im Karton.

obs nach den guten Vorgaben am Montag nochmal nach oben geht..?? Meine Prognose 30Cent Ende nächster Woche, danach rauf auf die 40....

hui! Tageshoch waren wir schon 0,26 AUD zum Ende halben Cent runter! Scheint sich langsam den Weg freizuschiessen, Geldseiten werden ebenfalls dicker!
