Also definitiv kein Non-Event. Da kann man schon einen TH raushauen.

The Best Junior Iron Ore Stock to Own
Your stock tip in this month’s Australian Small-Cap
Investigator is Flinders Mines Limited [ASX: FMS].
It trades on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
for 17.5 cents with a market capitalisation of $319
million....
...And the great
thing is, Flinders Mines is still at an early stage of
development. That means there’s room for a whole
lot of growth. The type of growth that could take
this 17.5-cent stock to 60 cents or more by the end
of next year.
In my view that makes it pretty cheap right now.
Especially for a company that four years from now
could be producing and exporting five million
tonnes of iron ore each year.....
...So, what profit numbers can you expect?
Well, the company claims it will sell $25 billion of
iron ore over twenty years. That’s an average of
$1.25 billion per year, and will involve producing an
average of 12 million tonnes per annum of iron ore
over the life of the mine.
But, to begin with, the company will likely start at a
rate of five million tonnes per annum.
If we take what appears to be a conservative
iron ore price of USD$100 per tonne (below the
company estimate of USD$101 to USD$110), that
works out at $500 million in sales revenue for the
February, 2011 Vol. 5 Issue 2
7
first year of production in 2014.
Then you minus cash costs of $35 per tonne, and
let’s say another $25 per tonne for other costs,
including taxes, royalties, depreciation, etc., I come
up with a net profit figure of $40 per tonne.
Based on a production rate of five million tonnes
per year, that gives you a total net profit of $200
million for the first year.
This, on a per share basis, is just over 11 cents per
share, making for a potential price to earnings ratio
(PE) of less than two-times.
Now, the big companies I mentioned earlier trade
at PEs of between eleven and fourteen times
earnings.
A similar price to earnings (PE) multiple for Flinders
Mines would put the share price above $1.20 – a
gain of 585%.
And don’t forget, that’s just based on five million
tonnes per annum. The company plans to increase
production to 15 million tonnes per annum by 2020
– if not sooner.
Of course, the share price won’t rise to $1.20
overnight. But resources stock prices do tend to
rise in advance of production. And Flinders Mines
is still at an early stage with its projects.
That’s why I believe the share price is still cheap.
And the closer the company gets to production the
higher the share price should rise.....

This Oakajee infrastructure Rail/Port development project is the one that could add major value to the Canegrass tenements owned by FMS:
ASX ANNOUNCEMENT ASX Code: MMX
2 March 2011
WA GOVERNMENT GRANTS OAKAJEE EXTENSION
Murchison Metals Limited (Murchison) is pleased to announce that the Government of Western
Australia has today agreed to grant an extension to the State Development Agreement (SDA) for the
Oakajee port and rail infrastructure project in Western Australia.
Murchison and its partner in the Oakajee project, Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd (Mitsubishi) requested
the extension following their announcement of revised project schedules for the Oakajee infrastructure
project and proposed expansion of the Jack Hills iron ore project on 4 November 2010. Murchison and
Mitsubishi each hold a 50% interest in the projects through their jointly owned Oakajee Port & Rail
(OPR) and Crosslands Resources Ltd (Crosslands) businesses respectively.
The SDA executed in March 2009 specified 31 March 2011 as the ?sunset date? for execution of
detailed ?implementation agreements? for the port and rail infrastructure projects. These
implementation agreements will set out the specific responsibilities of the parties in relation to
development of the projects.
The Government announced today that it has agreed to extend the date for execution of the
implementation agreements from 31 March 2011 to 31 December 2011. The parties will now proceed
to finalise the documentation to give effect to the extension.
Notwithstanding the extension, the parties aim to complete the implementation agreements as soon as
possible.
Murchison also confirms that completion of Bankable Feasibility Studies for both the infrastructure
project and Jack Hills Expansion Project (JHEP) is targeted for the June Quarter 2011, in line with the
revised project schedules announced on 4 November 2010.
First shipments of ore through the new Oakajee Port are expected in late 2014 / early 2015.
Welcoming the State Government?s decision, Murchison Executive Chairman Paul Kopejtka said the
extension would ensure optimum progress is maintained at both the Oakajee and JHEP projects.
?These are world scale projects that are pivotal to the unlocking of the mineral riches of WA?s mid-west
and we are committed to seeing them developed in the best interests of everyone involved ? the
Government, the miners and the people of Geraldton and the mid-west,? said Mr Kopejtka.
?Our teams at Crosslands and OPR are working hard, and with great confidence, to complete the
feasibility work so that project financing and construction can follow as soon as possible thereafter.
?The certainty provided by this extension will greatly assist in delivering these vital projects in the most
timely and optimum manner.?
The State Government?s decision to extend the date for execution of the implementation agreements
means that OPR retains the exclusive right to develop the infrastructure project.
Murchison and Mitsubishi have agreed to additional reporting commitments to the WA Government and
to complete, by the end of 2011, key activities necessary to make a commitment to proceed with the
Oakajee project (subject to conditions precedent in the implementation agreements), including feasibility
studies and the conclusion of formal supply chain agreements with OPR?s Foundation Customers
(including Crosslands).
Murchison and Mitsubishi have also confirmed their commitment to consider third party investment in
the project in future, should it be deemed appropriate to do so.
The Oakajee infrastructure project involves construction of a multi-user deepwater iron ore port with an
initial capacity of 45 million tonnes per annum at the greenfields Oakajee site, 25km north of Geraldton,
and associated heavy haulage rail infrastructure serving the mid-west region of WA.
Reflecting the economic significance of the infrastructure project, the State Government has committed
to directly invest $339 million in common user infrastructure at the Port. This commitment has been
matched by the Federal Government, bringing total direct government investment commitments in
Oakajee to $678 million.

and associated heavy haulage rail infrastructure serving the mid-west region of WA.
Reflecting the economic significance of the infrastructure project, the State Government has committed
to directly invest $339 million in common user infrastructure at the Port. This commitment has been
matched by the Federal Government, bringing total direct government investment commitments in
Oakajee to $678 million.

Beitrag aus dem HC (hotcopper) von filcorp
Spoke with head office this afternoon; here's the take if anyone's interested.
Q. The PFS talks about 1 mine operating in area the size of Blacksmith; is there a possibility for additional mines running in parallel?
A. No, the PFS takes into account 7 deposits( pits) which would be targetted at various stages depending on product required. We have had 2 drill rigs going for a further 250 holes which will potentially increase our JORC; just remember that for every additional 15mt of ore we find that's $1 billion of free cash/yr based on a long term sale price of $100/t.
Q. So whats the future with Anvil?
A. We do plan to return there for further drilling. We have learnt a lot from drilling at Delta that has led us to believe that there is a lot of upside to be gained from further drilling there. This too would be incorporated into the existing mine operations.
Q. $61 mil is a pretty specific figure to nominate for future rail expenditure; what was the thinking there?
A. Well given the proximity of our neighbours lines (RIO/FMG) under this scenerio this would allow for a trucking operation for half the distance and a spur line for the remainder.
Q. Given the partnership announcements from FMG lately would it be fair to assume that Flinders is no longer classified as stranded ore.
A. That's right, atm we're run off our feet securing the best deal possible for shareholders. We're in a fortunate position to be well located with 4 strong transport options. FMG have done 1 deal with BCI, their share price has gone from 50 cents to around $3.00 even with taking 50% of the company. FMG have announced they no longer require equity but want a freight charge instead.

OK ; just spoken with the company so I'm able to provide some info to those interested.
DFS
- decision to start the DFS is subject to a board meeting; next meeting will be in a few weeks; the DFS has already been up for discussion in previous meetings so we'll need to wait and see if this is the one.
- will be undertaken by Worley Parsons; it will be of a high standard and sufficient to take to a bank if required.
Finances
- no cap raising being planned, although there are meetings to be held soon re. forward financial planning.
- Proposed expenditure mentioned in the quarterly $11 mil is incorrect; more like $ 5 mil. Not sure if current funding will allow for DFS completion but a cap raising would be last resort and ideally done only after a business plan (infrastructure solution) is announced. FMS has dialogue with 20-30 Asian contacts; all of which are interested in our ore so future funding may well not even involve a bank.
Wah Nam
- takeover of Brockman has put FMS higher on the radar for a takeover. If FRS go across to WahNam then that just leaves FMS and IOH as independant with substancial ore in the entire Pilbera.
Aquila
- Stage 1 of their operations are 130 km from FMS. Terrain is not all flat. Current prices for track are between $ 3-6 million depending on the terrain. Just one of many other options being considered. A 15 mta operation will have surplus cashflow of $ 1 billion so such an option could be feasible.
ASX - FMS has nothing to do with the large buy orders atm but are watching closely what's going on. Interest possibly as a result from recent trips to Asia and USA.
end filcorp
For the record I'm happy to buy more FMS now.

Guten Tag,
