SIX FIRST-PRIORITY INDUCED POLARIZATION CONDUCTORS OUTLINED IN THE GOLD “CONDUCTOR” AREA ON DIOS AU33 PROJECT - MAP
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA – DIOS EXPLORATION reports that data interpretation outlined 6 first-priority conductors possibly associated with veins and/or disseminated sulphides as observed at the « conductor » gold showing on the gold-diamond AU33 project, Opinaca-Eastmain-1 area. The lateral extents of theses geophysical conductors generally vary from 1 to 2 km in length. See map on: http://diosexplo.com/pdfs/Au33inducedpolarization.pdf
Several of these priority targets will be investigated by trenching or stripping during the nest summer campaign. Fourteen other second-priority conductors were also identified as well as several graphitic zones.
The Conductor gold showing discovered in 2010 had returned values between 2.9 to 37.3 g/t Au (gold) in grab samples and up to 56 g/t Ag (silver) and its track-sampling assayed:
9.64 g/t Au/0.7 m
4.9 g/t Au, 14 g/t Ag, 0.28% Pb, 0.15% Zn/ 1 m
2.1 g/t Au/4.5 m incl. 8.1 g/t Au, 23 g/t Ag, 0.31% Pb, 0.32% Zn/1 m & 2.1 g/t Au/ 1.5/ m ;
3.44 g/t Au / 1.0 m for 1.3 g/t Au / 2.5 m;
The property also hosts the Fallara gold showing that previously assayed up to 9.9 g/t Au.
DIOS recently received the final interpretation of the induced polarization ground geophysical survey completed last fall on the « conductor » area within the gold-diamond AU33 project, James Bay, Quebec. In October 2010, a total of 34 kilometer-lines of induced polarization was completed by Abitibi Geophysics on a 5 km by 1.5 km grid (dipole-dipole; a=25m, n=1-8).
Technical content of the release was prepared by H. Desbiens, a 43-101 Qualified Person.

Iamgold hat es offensichtlich auf das Dios-Projekt Shipshaw abgesehen, auf dem neben Seltenen Erden Niobium entdeckt wurden. Mit diesem Spezialmetall werden Stahlprodukte leichter und robuster gestaltet. Den weltweiten Niobium-Bedarf bedienen indes nur zwei große Produzenten aus Brasilien sowie die Niobec-Mine in Quebec. Deren Eigner ist Iamgold. Da Shipshaw nur 7 Kilometer von Niobec entfernt liegt und obendrein der „großen Schwester“ geologisch ähnelt, ist es nur konsequent, dass Iamgold aktiv wird.
