The results from the December quarter show growth in revenues and a
decrease in costs, combining to improve the cash flow position of the
company.
The results also include costs associated with researching new
opportunities for revenue growth. The company has been researching
sectors such as energy and construction for potential online
strategies that have synergies with the e-commerce technology already
developed.
"The company has continued the drive to reduce costs and has managed
to increase revenues at the same time", said Mr Mike Veverka, CEO of
Jumbo Corp. "In addition, we have been looking at new opportunities
to extend our established technology infrastructure".
A comparison of the results from the December quarter compared to the
previous quarter have been summarized below:
* Gross Turnover Up 26% from $205,000 to $260,000 per quarter.
* Net Sales Up 22% from $117,000 to $143,000 per quarter.
* Operating Expenses Down 19% from $363,000 to $295,000 per quarter.
* Net Operating Negative Cash Flow Reduced from $246,000 to $152,000
per quarter.
The Net Operating Cash Flow has shown a definite trend towards a
positive cash flow situation, as indicated in the following table.

December Quarter 2000 -$152,000
The company has retained adequate reserves of cash at bank to fund
ongoing business growth and search for new opportunities.

The results from the December quarter show growth in revenues and a
decrease in costs, combining to improve the cash flow position of the
company.
The results also include costs associated with researching new
opportunities for revenue growth. The company has been researching

die Zahlen von Jumbo zeigen, daß die Firma seit einem Jahr von Quartal zu Quartal weniger Verluste erwirtschaftet. Hierzu die Übersicht:
01.01.00 - 31.03.00 : - 608,000 A$
01.04.00 - 30.06.00 : - 364,000 A$
01.07.00 - 30.09.00 : - 246,000 A$
01.10.00 - 31.12.00 : - 152,000 A$
Die Einnahmen lagen im Zeitraum 01.07.00 - 30.09.00 bei 117.000 A$ und stiegen im Zeitraum 01.10.00 - 31.12.00 um 22% auf
143.000 A$ an.
Der Cashbestand liegt bei gut 1 Mio. A$. Bei Zugrundelegung der aktuellen Burnrate von ca. 50.000 A$ monatlich reichen die Reserven noch bis zum Sommer 2002, d.h. eineinhalb Jahre. Es kommt darauf an, daß es Jumbo gelingt, bis dahin die Gewinnzone zu erreichen. Der Vorstand sieht dies als wahrscheinlich an.

Leider gab`s bei der heutigen Rundmail Probleme: Die Mails an m.pr. und j.ba. konnten nicht zugestellt werden. Bitte prüft Eure Accounts bei Yahoo (m.pr.) und T-Online (j.ba.)
Die Umsätze in Berlin waren heute wohl einmalig. Der erste Handel fand mit 170 Aktien statt! Vermutlich wollte jemand 17.000 oder 170.000 kaufen und ein Übertragungsfehler ist aufgetreten. wie von mir gesagt bewegt sich jumbo schön in einer spanne zwischen 0,03 und 0,04.jumbo wird sich noch ein bißchen ausruhen bevor der nächste größere anstieg kommt.
Heute sind die Briefkurse schon in
Deutschland gestiegen.
