      PLEXUS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
      Cements Position in Europe

      PLEXUS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED 2000-02-03 ASX-SIGNAL-G

      HOMEX - Perth

      +++++++++++++++++++++++++
Plexus International Limited (Plexus) has established its first
overseas office in Cambridge UK. "The very real opportunities
emerging for Plexus in Europe require us to provide local management
and support," said Plexus Managing Director, Ray Hammond. "This is a
real milestone in our development path. We are now able to properly
support the new business alliances we are establishing and, at the
same time, identify and evaluate new directions for our Company".

Aon Risk Services (UK) is already using the Plexus Claims Insurance
Network to settle an increasing number of insurance claims in the UK.
Aon has also embraced the Plexus Club Shopper service offered by the
jointly owned Aon Club Shopper Limited (Plexus holds a 40% stake).
The service will be launched in the UK later this month through a
major affinity group. "The potential reach for Club Shopper in the UK
is far greater than we can ever hope for in Australia. The move into
the UK establishes a model for the service roll-out into other
European countries and takes us a step closer to achieving our goal
of establishing a world wide cyber shopping network", said Mr
      Hammond.

Mr Keith Bark has been seconded to manage the Plexus UK operation.
Mr Bark has a background in the insurance industry having served as
General Manager of a major Australian based insurance company prior
to joining Plexus. "We have commenced the build-up of a local team
which can work in concert with our Australian based group of IT and
      E-commerce professionals," said Mr. Bark.

Ray Hammond, who has just returned from a two-month stay in the UK,
said, "The European markets for the unique Plexus e-commerce products
are orders of magnitude larger than our markets in Australia. Plexus
will concentrate its new business development efforts in Europe and
has already identified a number of alliance partners. Our
relationship with Aon is strong and we are working closely with
senior executives to adapt our Australian e-commerce experience to
meet the demands of the UK marketplace".

"The establishment of a presence in the UK underpins the European
support for Plexus arising from its listing on the Berlin and Hamburg
stock exchanges", said Mr Hammond. "There is significant demand by
European investors for soundly based technology stocks", says Mr
Hammond. "Currently Plexus" share price is consistently higher on the
Berlin market compared to that in Australia it appears that European
investors are prepared to pay a premium for the convenience of using
their own market place rather than trade on a foreign exchange."

While in the UK, Mr Hammond was invited to address an audience of
professionals attending an e-commerce seminar conducted by the London
Business School. As a result, the School`s Centre for Management
Development (CMD) has taken up the Plexus e-commence model as a
real-life case study for its internationally recognised MBA
      programme.

Ian Hardie, Director of CMD claims Plexus has all the ingredients of
a world-class e-commerce company. "Its model is original and offers
a great example of how modern electronic communication technology can
change the way business is run."
