Tandberg asa (WKN 874743) - eine unentdeckte Wachstumsstory?

Unentdeckt in Norwegen sicherlich nicht - aber hierzulande?

Alle nachfolgenden Informationen stammen aus den Geschäftsberichten.
      Nachzulesen unter: www.tandberg.net

..."During 2001, TANDBERG was the most successful company on
the Oslo Stock Exchange, with a rise in its share price of 144%
from NOK 82 to NOK 200 at year-end. It is more important for
the company and all its employees, however, to achieve a
stable, long-term share price increase. For this reason, it is even
more encouraging that, over the last three years TANDBERG has
been listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, it has had the
      Exchange> `> s best share price development, at 1 354%..."

      Jahre 20-25% p.a.

..."The increasing interest in videoconferencing is due to the fact
that more and more people see the technology as representing
an opportunity to maintain or increase competitiveness, at the
same time as cutting costs. This has led to a marked increase in
the utilization of installed units and other services related to
videoconferencing. The terrorist attacks in New York on 11
September led to further interest in videoconferencing and,
together with the reductions in inventory which have taken
place, and possible stabilization or growth in the world economy,
this provides a good basis for solid growth in the coming years.
Industry analysts estimate that the videoconferencing market will
grow at a rate of 20-25% per annum over the next five years..."

mannigfaltig in Unternehmen, Education, Healthcare, ...

Alle Zahlen sind in Norwegischen Kronen (NOK): 1 NOK = 0.13 EUR

      Derzeitiger Marktanteil: 31%

      Zahlen in Mio. NOK

      1999 2000 2001 2002e 2003e
      Umsatz 605,5 855,5 1.279
      EBIT 92 203 380
      EPS 0.73 1.24 2.29 3,26 4,26

      *e = estimated aus Focus-Money

      Vergleich der ersten Quartale
      1/2001 1/2002
      Umsatz 253.6 407.1
      EBIT 53 112

..."The organization has been significantly strengthened in product
Average prices in the industry have been reduced during 2001
by less than 10%. Despite the slowdown in the world economy,
this is a smaller price fall than in previous years, where it has
been between 10% and 15%. This reflects the fact that the
purchase of videoconferencing systems is not an impulse
decision, but a well-considered investment. Customers are, in
other words, more concerned with quality and ensuring that the
investment provides the expected savings and efficiency
improvements. The average price of TANDBERG`s products was
      unchanged in 2001..."

      So sieht der Markt aus:

..."Aggregate sales figures for the videoconferencing industry show>
North America represents 53% of sales value, Europe/
Middle East and Africa 28%, Asia 16% and the rest of the world
      3% of the total market..."

      (Quelle: Wirtschaftswoche)

Die Verpackungsfirma stellt weltweit Getränkedosen her.

      SHAREHOLDER MATTERS
In accordance with the resolution at the General Meeting held 11 April of 2002, NOK 5 per share is paid out as a

shareholders, in April 2001, for a specific acquisition project that was aborted, should be repaid to the shareholders.
A total of NOK 641.9 million is being paid out to the outstanding shares as per 5 July 2002. On 8 July 2002 a total of
65,000 shares were issued under the current share incentive program for employees. Following this there is a total of
      128,436,334 shares outstanding.

      OUTLOOK
TANDBERG’s market position continues to strengthen. Both in terms of revenue and number of units TANDBERG
continues to deliver strong growth. The company is now releasing a new product category that is based on the same
end point technology, securing optimal use of R&D resources, while opening up for additional revenue growth. The
reorganization of the US sales force have been completed. A new and reinforced partnership structure is being
developed and key sales and sales management hirings has allowed for an improved sales coverage model. On the
basis of TANDBERG’s technology leadership, new strategic relationships and alliances have been secured and are
opening up for new sales opportunities. This performance confirms our ability to grow organically. The Board
remains optimistic about the outlook for the second half of 2002 and the future.
