Microsoft MSN and TOMORROW FOCUS AG sign exclusive, long-term strategic partnership agreement - Joint mega-portal to reach 50% of German Internet users - Turnover to receive appreciable boost from joint marketing

Munich, 30 July 2002. TOMORROW FOCUS AG and Microsoft MSN have concluded an exclusive, long-term strategic cooperation agreement covering the establishment of a joint portal, production of content and the marketing of the two companies´ online portals. The collaboration aims at strengthening and expanding the online services of both companies in a common network. With effect from October 2002 TOMORROW FOCUS AG will provide the established online brands FOCUS, AMICA, TOMORROW, MAX, CINEMA, TV SPIELFILM and FIT FOR FUN under the banner of Microsoft MSN, which is currently one of Germany´s biggest Internet portals, reaching 43% of users. TOMORROW FOCUS AG will also produce the journalistic content for Microsoft MSN. The new content and marketing agreement, which will run for several years, is calculated to assure the break-even forecast for TOMORROW FOCUS AG in 2003 by bringing additional turnover and reducing costs at a stroke. The unique combination of technology and journalistic content will make the leading global and European online portal MSN into a comprehensive Internet medium supported by the established brands of TOMORROW FOCUS AG. According to Net-Value, TOMORROW FOCUS AG and Microsoft MSN marketing reaches 50% of all Internet users in Germany.
