ABA Endorses Private Business Inc. as Its Exclusive Provider of Electronic Loan Monitoring Systems
Monday September 8, 7:30 am ET
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 2003--The American Bankers Association has expanded its endorsement of Private Business Inc. (NASDAQ:PBIZ - News) to include the LineManager electronic loan monitoring system.
LineManager is a complete Web-based system that automates the monitoring and tracking of commercial lines of credit while also providing banks with an effective early warning system and reliable risk management tool.
Since 1993, Private Business Inc. has carried the exclusive endorsement of the ABA for Business Manager, the banking industry`s leading accounts receivable management program. Endorsed providers earn the ABA`s support only after a thorough due diligence review by its affiliate, the Corporation for American Banking.
"In a time when technology is being used to mitigate lending risks and improve credit officer performance, our member banks are looking to implement strong programs such as LineManager for monitoring and managing lines of credit," said John Wolff, CAB executive director.
"Over the course of our 10-year affiliation, Private Business has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to understand the needs of banks and to develop products and services that meet those needs. Throughout our relationship, we`ve witnessed an outstanding level of quality and service that they provide our members," said Wolff.
"Our entire organization is very pleased to have corroboration from the ABA that LineManager is an effective tool for meeting the monitoring needs of banks of all sizes," said Henry M. Baroco, president and CEO of Private Business Inc. "As we continue to expand our product line to include a comprehensive suite of products and services for banks and small to medium-sized businesses, receiving this second product endorsement from the ABA is a very positive development."
