ich hoffe Du bist lange raus aus dem Wert, habe mir nach 3 Wochen mal wieder den Chart angesehen, und denke auch noch noch an Stephen King dabei.
Bin froh, daß ich vor Weihnachten noch die Kurve gekriegt habe.
Ich habe sogar die Befürchtung, das die 20 $ nicht halten werden.

Das Grauen hat einen Namen .

Nach dem fulminanten Anstieg bis auf rund 84 Euro
ist die Aktie ja nun fast auf 20 Euro heruntergekommen.

Der Absturz begann Mitte November, vermutlich im Zusammenhang
mit der Veröffentlichung der Zahlen zum dritten Quartal,
die so schlecht doch nicht waren.

Warum kommt der Kurs so massiv zurück,
warum ist die Phantasie raus?
Liegt es an der Produktkonzentration?
Hat jemand weitere fundamentals, Anzahl der Aktien?

Leider(?) nicht Magoo, habe noch etliche davon. Hatte zwar reduziert, aber bin immer noch mit gut der Hälfte (und fast 70% minus) mit bei.
Halte die!
Dass der Wert bisher nicht gerade zu meinen Glanzleistungen zählt ist ja wohl klar (höflich ausgedrückt)!
Das einzige, was ich mir vorwerfen kann, ist die zu geringe Sachkenntnis über amerikanische Shortseller, wobei ich bei der Beantwortung der Frage
von Waigel bin:
Mit dem Wert ist nichts, aber auch überhaupt nichts verkehrt.
Das KGV ist traumhaft (28, bezogen auf die LETZTEN 12 Monate), die Fa. ist klasse am Markt plaziert, die Produkte sind langlebig und erstklassig
Die EBIT-Marge ist phantastisch (mit knapp 60% besser als EMTV)....

Einzger Fehler:
Eine Clique von professionellen Shortsellern hatten und haben immer noch Spass an der Aktie.
Der Wert wurde gnadenlos "hingerichtet", obwohl die letzten Quartalszahlen erwartungsgemäss top waren.
Das eizigartige wird deutlich, wenn man die Zahl der frei handelbaren Aktien (5,2 Mio von 11,6 Mio) mit der Anzahl der geshorteten Aktien vergleicht.
Am 8.12. waren immer noch 3,9 Mio Aktien short, was immer noch 75% aller handelbaren Aktien entspricht.

jaja, ein an und für sich eigentlich exzellenter Wert. Aber solange so viele Shortseller ihren Spass daran haben, kann man nicht kaufen.
Die Anzahl der geshorteten Aktien ist sogar noch gestiegen.
Grausam! 4 von 5 Mio sind short, also fast alles, was handelbar ist.

Geht so - Kide ist mein einziger Titel mit dem ich im Minus liege, dafür gleich 50 %! (Mit cmgi, Sdl, jafco, verticalnet liege ich gut im rennen).
Könntset Du mir sagen wo Du die aktuelle Shortzahl herhast? Auf quote.yahoo.com stehen da noch immer die 4 mio.
Da ich höchstens Rückschlagpotential bis 15 sehe bleibe ich in dem Wert solange investiert, bis der Titel bei 120 - 140 $ steht! Oder ich erkenne, dass ich wahrhaftig ein Scheißunternehmen gekauft habe.

hast Du starke Nerven?
Nein im Ernst: Eine Empfehlung zu kaufen oder doch die Finger davon zu lassen möchte ich Dir nicht geben. Sehr spekulatives Papier. Ich selbst bin jetzt noch (nach 2maligem Nachkaufen) noch ca. 25 % im Verlust. Für mich das Papier sogar bis auf 0 abgeschrieben, da ich einige andere gute Werte im Depot habe/hatte.
Ich halte die Aktie nun solange bis der Kurs zwischen 120 - 140 $ notiert oder ich erkenne warum das Unternehmen tatsächlich so schlecht ist. Bei 90 % geshorteten Aktie (freefloat) ist vielleicht wirklich wo der Wurm drin!
Wenn Du eine hochprozenter möchtest, würde ich mir vielleicht eine Morphosys anschauen.

Lagen auf keinen Fall unter den Erwartungen. Die große Überraschung gab`s aber auch nicht. Mal sehen, was dies für den Kurs von Kide bedeutet.

Das geht jetzt schon 3 Monate.
Erstaunlich und auch interessant zugleich.

4 Kids Entertainment Announces Record Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 28, 2000--4 Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:KIDE) today announced record revenues and net income for the full year and fourth quarter ended December 31, 1999.

For the year ended December 31, 1999 net revenues rose 310 percent to $60,482,369, compared with $14,767,429 for the previous year. Net income for the year was $23,638,426, or $2.20 per common share, compared to net income of $2,743,069, or $0.31 per common share for the previous year. On a diluted basis, earnings per common share for the full year 1999 were $1.91, compared with $0.27 in 1998.

Fourth quarter net revenues increased 371 percent to $34,890,117, compared to $7,409,432 for the same period a year ago. Net income for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1999 totaled $14,135,520, or $1.21 per common share, compared with $1,943,195, or $0.21 per common share for the corresponding period of 1998. On a diluted basis, 1999 fourth quarter earnings per common share were $1.08, compared with $.18 in 1998.

Commenting on the record performance, Al Kahn, Chief Executive Officer of 4Kids Entertainment, said, "We are very pleased by the performance of our Company throughout 1999. Pokemon continues to be a driving force behind our record growth. Our proven abilities in promoting the Pokemon property throughout worldwide markets and media has brought a tremendous amount of attention to 4 Kids. Warum wird ein Umsatzrendite von 39% so lächerlich niedrig bewertet?

Kann eine Aktie zu mehr als 100% freefloat geshortet werden?
Wie ist die Webseitenadresse von KIDE?
Wo findet man die Ergebnisschätzungen zu KIDE?

Ich hoffe die Charttechnische Unterstützung bei 20$ wird halten, sonst sieht es düster aus.

Hallo alle zusammen.

Ich habe mir gestern abend die Presekonferenz von KIDE CEO Al Kahn bei Wallstreet-Broadcast angehört: Mann, war der sauer auf die shorts und auf KIDE-Schlechtmacher auf verschiedenen US-Message-Boards!!! Er hat angekündigt, daß KIDE in ca. 3 Wochen eine Web-Site ins Netz bringt die auf der täglich alle 4Kids-News zum nachlesen steht (neue Lizens-Verträge, Pokemonprodukte usw.). Wenn das passiert, dann denke und hoffe ich dass die Amerikaner endlich mal das wahr Potential von KIDE erkennen. 25$ ist doch ein WITZ! Desweiteren waren die Zahlen für 99 nicht so gigantisch wie erwartet weil die profits aus dem Pokemon-Film noch gar nicht mit eingerechnet waren. Gegen manche offensichtliche Lügner in den US-Boards will Big Al gerichtlich vorgehen. KIDE hat vorerst nicht vor Aktien zurückzukaufen (wurde wohl vermutet bei dem Preis). Die Gewinne werden dazu benutzt neue Lizensen und sogar ein paar Copyrights zu kaufen, weil da die Royalties fürs Merchandising höher ausfallen. Alles in allem glaube ich nicht dass KIDE noch länger als 1 Monat so runtergedrückt werden kann, hoffentlich - Schade um so ein gutes Unternehemen.

Wer sagt, daß die Zahlen nicht wie erwartet waren? Das waren doch absolute TOP ZAHLEN
Die Umsätze 14,7 auf 60,4 >Mio gesteigert
Die Gewinne von von 2,74 auf 23,6 fast verzehnfacht!!
Netoumsatzrendite von über 30%

Es sind doch schon 100% aller Aktien short!!!!

Ich kann das alles nicht mehr nachvollziehen. Das ist doch schon kriminell und sollte ie SEC mal zu Überlegungen hinsichtlich der Shortsellergesetzte nötigen!
