Nokia - Kooperieren beim Multimedia-Messaging mit Lycos Europe

Helsinki, 15. Nov (Reuters) - Der weltgrößte Mobiltelefonhersteller Nokia und der am Neuen Markt gelistete Internet-Portalbetreiber Lycos Europe wollen erweiterte mobile Nachrichtendienste für Lycos-Kunden entwickeln. Wie Nokia am Donnerstag in Helsinki mitteilte, haben die beiden Unternehmen einen entsprechenden Vertrag unterzeichnet. Die neuen multimedialen Nachrichtendienste, die das Verschicken von Bildern und Clips über die Mobiltelefone ermöglichen sollen, würden im kommenden Jahr am Markt eingeführt werden, hieß es weiter. Die Lycos-Aktien legten bis zum Mittag in einem freundlichen Marktumfeld 1,28 Prozent auf 0,79 Euro zu. kir/nro

Ist seit dem Höchststand von 12.75 am 21. Juni 2000 um 93% Punkte gefallen. Die Aktie hat die obere Linie eines Abwärtstrendkanals nach oben hin durchbrochen. Daher ist ein schwächerer Kursrückkang als ursprünglich angenommen zu erwarten oder aber der Beginn einer Seitwärtsentwicklung. Ein positives Volumengleichgewicht, d.h. hohes Handelsvolumen an Tagen mit Kurssteigerungen und niedriges Handelsvolumen an Tagen mit Kursrückgängen, stärkt die Aktie kurzfristig. Durchschnittlicher Unterschied zwischen Monatshöchst - und Tiefststand von 48%, daher sehr riskant.



War ab 0,77€ dabei und habe bei 1,09€ verkauft, warte auf nächste Gelegenheit.

Übrigens bin ich nun schon seit ipo dabei und habe durch Zukäufe den Preis immer weiter gedrückt. Bin aber keiner von diesen nervösen daytrader, ich mag mehr Kostolanys Methode. Du weißt Schlafttablette nehmen und abwarten.

HELSINKI, Nov 23, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The best company by reputation among the 100 biggest listed companies in Finland is Nokia. Vaisala ranks second, Kone third, F-Secure fourth and UPM-Kymmene fifth. Nokia had the best overall reputation and additionally ranked first in the reputational dimensions of operational dynamics, public image and financial excellence. In the dimension corporate culture and leadership Nokia ranked third, in community responsibility sixth and in products and services ninth.

The results are based on a survey carried out by reputation management consultancy Pohjoisranta Porter Novelli in October 2001. The research was conducted using RepMap, a tool created by Pohjoisranta Porter Novelli for the measurement of corporate reputation. The media partner in the survey was Arvopaperi, the leading investor magazine in Finland.

The five most reputable companies all operate internationally. Nokia is the world leader in mobile communications with its headquarters in Finland. Vaisala develops, manufactures and markets electronic measurement systems and equipment for meteorology, environmental sciences, traffic safety and industry. Kone is one of the leading companies in the global elevator and escalator business. F-Secure is a strategic provider of data security solutions and UPM-Kymmene is one of the leading forest product companies in the world focusing on printing papers, converting materials, and wood products.


Most reputable companies score well in each dimension

More than 3 350 respondents representing the working-age population and students in Finland took part in the survey. The survey was carried out via an Internet Panel. The respondents were asked to evaluate on a scale from 1 to 5 how well each attribute of reputation described the company named. An overall reputation value was then calculated for the company`s reputation, based on the average of the values scored in the different dimensions of reputation. The range for reputation value is 1 to 5.

In addition to the overall reputation, each company gained a score in all of the six dimensions of reputation. The most reputable companies score fairly well in all dimensions, implying that all the factors in each of the dimensions of reputation need to be addressed in order to have a good corporate reputation.


Reputation as a competitive edge

According to Jouni Heinonen, Managing Director of Pohjoisranta Porter Novelli, reputation is a company`s intangible asset; it guides customers, employees, investors and stakeholders - including other interest groups such as the media - in making decisions.

- Reputation has never been more important for companies because nowadays the business climate is continuously changing and the pace of change is accelerating. Markets are becoming global and consumers more enlightened. Companies are finding it harder to distinguish themselves from their competitors, especially now that products and services are often similar in nature or at least easily copyable. This means companies must utilise their intangible resources to gain a competitive edge - their reputation, Heinonen concludes.

The RepMap maps the company`s reputation among its stakeholders and also the reputations of the company`s main competitors. The RepMap positions the company in the different dimensions of reputation in relation to its competitors.

According to a three-phase survey of the dimensions and attributes that form corporate reputation in Finland, carried out by Pohjoisranta Porter Novelli in Autumn 2000 and Spring 2001, corporate reputation in Finland is a six dimensional phenomenon composed of 24 qualitative attributes. The dimensions of reputation are: corporate culture and leadership, financial excellence, public image, products and services, community responsibility and operational dynamics.
