besten dank! hier alles was ich dazu weiss:" Amanda Company, Inc. (OTCBB: PENC), trading at only 1.3 cents! The Amanda Company was, until recently, a successful privately held corporation engaged in the development of client server telephony call processing solutions. On October 23, Amanda Company completed a reverse merger with a public shell company, Pen Interconnect, Inc., retaining its capital structure and SEC reporting status. Doing a reverse merger with a shell company is a fast and cost effective way for a privately held company to go public. As a privately held company, Amanda Company generated sales of $5,150,379 for FY 2000 and showed a gross profit of $1,930,239 for the same period. As a public corporation, Amanda Company will have a broader market for its common stock that will likely facilitate any acquisitions and enable it to more easily obtain financing for the expansion of its business.
From the outset, Amanda has recognized that the technology of the mid 80`s call processing revolution would be inadequate for rapidly evolving future communication needs. Flexibility, expandability, ease of installation, support and use are essential for the next generation of call processing systems. Founded in 1988, Amanda Company was initially a distributor of third-party voicemail systems. In 1991, the company began supplying an early version of its call processing attendant. As a result, Amanda Company experienced rapid revenue gains, and was able to channel the gross profit increases from its automated attendant into further product development.
Amanda’s principal product, is a client server telephony enabled software solution optimized for Microsoft`s Windows operating systems. Utilizing the worldwide switched public telephone network and both Intranet and Internet computer based technology, Amanda seamlessly integrates the computer and the telephone. In addition to typical voicemail functionality, Amanda can be employed to automatically answer incoming telephone calls, greet, screen, and route the callers to any internal system user through the on-premise telephone switching system or through cables that define the local area, on-premise computer network (LAN). Utilizing the Internet or other Wide Area Network (WAN) interconnection solutions, the same inbound callers can be routed to geographically remote locations. In call center applications include telemarketing, reservations, technical support and customer service. The result is a significant reduction of the equipment cost and duplication of on site wiring that typically characterizes these call center environments.
Amanda currently has a network of 550 dealers that resell its line of products to the small business market. The Amanda software product has been sold to over 55,000 small business users, of which over 25,000 have been under the Amanda label. The expanding telecommunications industry and the rapid growth of the Internet are creating a massive opportunity for the company to market services traditionally available only to large corporate users or isolated groups on the Internet. Amanda intends to extend the current line of Amanda products to a broad group of services, utilizing both communications networks, the public switched telephone network and the Internet. These new services, including call routing, Voice over Internet (VoIP), and computer-based telephony creates a substantial service fee based revenue stream.
On November 8, Amanda announced a partnership with iQ NetSolutions (www.iqnsi.com <http://www.iqnsi.com>, of Westboro, Massachusetts to market Amanda`s integrated voice processing platforms with iQ NetSolutions` MediaPhone LAN (local area network) based telephone system. The product, the Amanda@MediaPhone will begin controlled introduction in Southern California during the fourth quarter of 2001 with a national launch projected for the first quarter of 2002. Amanda Company CEO Jose Candia stated, “This product will initially be targeted for more than a half-million small businesses in California whose present telephone systems are narrowband in design and cannot take advantage of emerging technologies that significantly reduce adds, moves, and changes and provide access to VoIP and other cost effective Internet applications. The national target is the eight million small businesses who want more than a dial tone. We are very optimistic about this new strategic relationship and the new markets it opens for both organizations.”
On November 14, the company announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Aleen Technologies, www.aleentech.com <http://www.aleentech.com> , a leading distributor of advanced PBX peripheral solutions. The Amanda Company will distribute an OEM product marketed by Aleen Technologies, to accommodate the needs of medium to small sized businesses.
The new product, Amanda@miniSOHO, is a technically superior solid state, flash memory, feature rich voice mail solution. It is available in 2 to 4 ports with up to 7.5 hours of memory and provides up to 128 mailboxes. This multi-lingual Voice Mail/Auto Attendant System is an efficient cost effective solution. “This solution complements our Amanda@SOHO, the Amanda@Work.Place and the Amanda@Work.Group family of products. We can now accommodate the needs of customers ranging from businesses with as few as 10 employees - offering them the 2 port, 2.5 hours solution - up to businesses with thousands of employees, offering them the 72 port solution with unlimited storage, subject to disc space,” stated Jose Candia, Amanda Company President and CEO. “We foresee a substantial increase in our market share by providing our outstanding products to distribution houses throughout the United States, reaching more than 25,000 national dealers.”
Mr. Isaac Seluk, President of Aleen Technologies and its parent company, Integrated Telecom Systems Ltd., said, “Foreseeing the great synergy between the two companies, we are very pleased to have the Amanda Company as our new distribution partner. Combining Amanda`s vast knowledge and solid experience in the voice processing field, with the user friendly, uniquely designed Amanda@MiniSOHO Voice Mail System from Aleen Technologies, we look forward to a long, fruitful relationship between the two companies.
Within the exploding information technology markets, voice processing stands out as one having the most profound impact on the fundamental way in which we conduct business. The stars of this potentially rapid growth industry will be a new breed of high performance voice processing systems, designed to automate many communications not requiring human interaction. In addition to recording, replaying and redirecting calls and messages, handling faxes, these devices will even provide information over the phone from virtually any data source. They are one of the most productive business tools a company can implement. Stockprowler.com views Amanda Company as a potential innovative leader for this millennium.
