Halte den Laden eigentlich seit der neuen Umstrukturierung überhaupt nicht mehr riskant. Denn mit dem direkten schürfen von Ressourcen hat ja der Laden nichts mehr zu tun.

Haben ja Ihre Schürfrechte verpachtet und zusätzlich eine gestiegene Anzahl an Beteiligungen in Form von Aktien an anderen Unternehmen.

Im grunde ziemlich clever: Wenn die beteiligten Unternehmen in diesem Jahr nun endlich den Kram, den sie die letzten zwei Jahre gesucht und auch gefunden haben (!), auszugraben, dann sprudelt die Kohle nur so in die Kasse von Metex.

Ob es nun Gold oder Diamanten sind. Hauptsache bringt Metex richtig viel Geld

beteiligen zu müssen, habe ich am 03.02.00 alle meine
MEE für umgerechnet 0,086 EURO verkauft.
Aktueller Stand Frankfurt : 0,046 EURO

Die Bäume wachsen also (noch ?) nicht in den Himmel.
Was ist eigentlich aus der Internet-Beteiligung geworden.

Laverton Exploration Joint Venture (Western Australia)

Major exploration initiative with Delta.

Key projects are in the Laverton-Mt Morgans-area of the NE Goldfields of WA, where historical production and current resources for the district exceed 18 million ounces.
LAVERTON EXPLORATION JOINT VENTURE (LEJV)

The LEJV is a 50:50 joint venture between Metex and Australia`s leading gold exploration and producing company Delta Gold Limited.
Pre-feasibility programmes completed on Chatterbox Shear gold deposits, and development options under assessment including production based agreement with regional operator
Oxide resources now total 8.4 million tonnes @ 2.3 g/t for 620,000 ounces at Whisper, Rumour, Innuendo and Beasley Creek
Exciting regional exploration targets the subject of proposed $1.5 million exploration budget during 2000 (Metex share $750,000)

Red Flag
This exciting new Project is 17km south west of Laverton and has a history of widespread alluvial gold production. To date no bedrock source for this substantial alluvial occurrence has been found.
A new area known as 7AR has been delineated. Based on a program of reconnaissance drillholes spaced on 200 and 400m lines of section we have defined anomalous supergene mineralisation over a total strikelength of 1,400m. Depth of cover is generally shallow. The area is part of the LEJV/Exodus Joint Venture where respective interests are 37.5% Metex, 37.5 % Delta and 25% Exodus.

Results to date include 3m @ 3.66g/t between 49-52m in RFAC417, 5m @ 2.59g/t between 49-54m in RFAC408, 2m @ 1.31 g/t between 62-64m in RFAC422, 4m @1.68g/t between 60-64m in RFAC423, 6m @ 0.54g/t between 48-54m in RFAC424, 2m @ 0.70g/t between 39-41m in RFAC443, and 1m @ 23.7g/t between 43-44m in RFAC447.

No previous exploration has been undertaken at 7AR. The drilling has defined two en echelon zones in what appears to be a deep weathered doleritic host. No mineralised intercepts in fresh bedrock have yet been returned. The drilling to date indicates an extensive, continuous zone of anomalous geochemistry in a highly prospective structural corridor. The presence of the dolerite highlights a new style of mineralisation to the Laverton area. Follow up RC drilling to test for the bedrock source of this anomalous gold is due to commence shortly.

Elsewhere at Red Flag and to the north of the LEJV/Exodus joint venture, drilling has been completed on widely spaced traverses targeting what is thought to be the stratigraphic equivalent of the Beasley Creek horizon, the prospective host for mineralisation at Beasley Creek approximately 20km to the north. Drilling has now traced this horizon beneath relatively shallow cover around the nose of the Mt Margaret anticline, a major regional structure separating the Laverton area from Mt Morgans in the west.

Results have identified anomalous supergene gold over three kilometres of strike length. Within this more extensive blanket, a core zone of approximately one kilometre has been delineated where results range up to 7m @ 3.16g/t from 43 to 50m in RFB165, 7m @ 2.0g/t from 6 to 13m followed by 1m @ 7.4g/t from 16 to 17m in RFAC331, 3m @ 3.3g/t from 25 to 28m in RFAC340, and 4m @ 1.8g/t from 65 to 69m in HNAC038. The mineralised stratigraphy is bounded by several low angle thrust structures, and is effectively untested by drilling for several kilometres.

Lancefield West
At Lancefield West RC drilling was completed to test Tarmoola-style targets located along what is termed the Slaughter Yard Shear Zone. The shear is in the footwall to the Lancefield goldmine (1.3 million oz historical production) and was discovered by previously reported RAB and AC drilling that had returned wide zones of anomalous gold results. Significant widths of mineralisation have been returned from LRC007 (41400N 37920E) where 6m @ 0.76g/t (60-66m) were followed by 34m @ 0.73g/t (82-116m) and 6m @ 1.6g/t (108-114m).

Beasley Gladiator
RAB drilling across Target 5H has intersected 4m @ 28.00 g/t Au from 21m in BGB033 (including 1m @ 96.7g/t). Visible gold has been panned from the interval . Follow up RC drilling has commenced. The intersection is hosted in a weakly foliated, strongly ferruginous zone in a strongly deformed and altered felsic intrusive. An intersection in an adjacent hole include 4m @ 368ppb Au from surface in hole BGB034. The holes are drilled at 60 degrees to the west.

There is no evidence of any historical mining activity in the area and it lies approximately 1km to the east of the known Chatterbox deposits (620,000 contained resource ounces of gold). The new discovery is beneath less than 5m of transported cover, and again highlights areas close to known mineralisation as increasingly prospective "brownfields" environments.

Other West Australian Projects

Roe
The Company has moved to consolidate its interests in the North Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia by purchasing the interests that it did not hold in the Roe Project. The area was previously the subject of a joint venture between Metex and Golden Valley Mines NL. The total tenement area covers 540km2 and is now owned 100% by Metex.

The land holding covers an extensive area of poorly exposed and intensely weathered greenstones to the south of Pacmin`s Carosue Dam Project (2.2 million ounces). This is a recent discovery, and the first multi-million ounce occurrence so far delineated in this lightly explored area.

Previous exploration completed by Metex successfully delineated anomalous gold results in RAB drillholes in the Goat Dam East area. The follow up to these results will provide an immediate focus for the additional drilling to be provided by an innovative financing initiative reached with the drilling company Grimwood Davies Pty Ltd.

Drilling Pool - $252,000
Grimwood Davies has undertaken to complete exploratory drilling programs, principally at Roe to a total value of $252,000. Metex will satisfy payment for these drilling services by the issue of 2.8 million fully paid ordinary shares in Metex coupled with 1.4 million free options to acquire ordinary shares exercisable at 20 cents on or before 30 June 2004. These issues are subject to shareholders approvals to be obtained at the AGM.

Victoria
The Company together with LionOre International is in joint venture with MPI Gold Pty Ltd ("MPI") and Pittston Mineral Ventures Australia Pty Ltd ("Pittston") over its Byrneville/Wallup tenement (EL 3941) to the north of one of Victoria’s premier goldfields at Stawell. MPI and Pittston have an entitlement to earn up to 75% in the tenement by spending $1million within 4 years.

To date MPI have completed an integrated exploration programme involving aircore drilling, geochemistry, and geophysics to locate geological settings similar to Magdala at Stawell (>2 million contained ounces).

Aircore drilling commenced testing the Kewell target. Encouraging results have been received from the single traverse completed. The drilling intersected mineralised rocks on the western flank of a discrete basalt dome, including altered volcanics and sediments. The best result was 6m @ 1.67g/t (including 1m @ 5.3g/t) at a depth of 121-127m. Elevated As, Cu, and Pb results indicate an association of gold with similar sulphides to the Magdala mineralisation.

Anketell Resources NL
In December it was announced that the Company had executed an agreement with Gindalbie Gold NL ("GBG") and Croesus Mining NL ("CRS") whereby they have granted Metex an option to purchase the joint interests of GBG and CRS in the Telfer project area tenements. These tenements cover approximately 8,000 km2 of the highly prospective Telfer region. The region hosts the world class Telfer Gold Mine, together with significant copper and uranium deposits at Nifty and Kintyre. Included within the package, hosting the exciting Magnum discovery, is the Anketell – Minyarie Joint Venture, where drilling has returned results of up to 15m @ 14g/t gold in AKD 009. Significant copper mineralisation has also been returned, with up to 4.4% Cu over 8m in AKD 005.

Under the agreement, Metex with the support of Resource Finance Corporation Ltd ("RFC"), a leading Australian investment banker to the mining industry, will seek to raise net proceeds of approximately $25million by way of an innovative capital raising and Initial Public Offering ("IPO"). Shareholders in Anketell can expect that about 80% of their investment will be tax deductible. The capital raising depends upon successfully obtaining a product ruling from the Australian Taxation Office ("ATO"). The application for the product ruling was lodged early in February, and the technical assessment of the application is continuing by the ATO.

Elkedra Diamonds NL
Elkedra Diamonds NL was formed on 4th April 2000 in conjunction with Dr. Linda Tompkins and Dr. Wayne Taylor (both recognised Diamond Industry Experts) with the purpose of delineating tenements in the Northern Territory which are considered suitable for hosting significant diamond resources. The company has lodged a total of 26 tenement applications (covering approximately 35,000km2) in the Northern Territory which are presently undergoing the approval process.

It is anticipated the Elkedra will be established as a separately funded and autonomously managed listed entity. Should the Anketell tax effective structure be successfully approved, a similar concept would be utilized by Elkedra resulting in an IPO listing with Metex retaining a significant interest.

Metex habe ich jetzt seit ca. 3 Jahren im Depot. Immer wieder zwischenzeitlich aufgestockt.

Auch Deine 0.09 EUR habe ich miterlebt Trotzdem hatte ich Metex weiter gehalten, obwohl damals ein Verkauf verlockend war

Der Nichtverkauf hat mir jedoch als "kleines Dankeschön" Optionsscheine in mein Depot gebracht.

Metex war die letzten Jahre eingentlich mit zwei Dingen beschäftigt: Probebohrungen und ziemlich (scheinbar) aufwendige Analysen dieser Proben.

Dann kam die Umstrukturierung, dass Metex sich an anderen Unternehmen aus diesem Sektor und in der Metex-Region beteiligt.

Sie also bei den nun geplanten Ausbeutungen der Regionen entsprechend anhand der zur Tage gebrachten Ressourcen anteilig beteiligt werden.

Das erste positive Ereignis ist nun:

ELKEDRA DIAMONDS NL has successfully concluded its IPO PROSPECTUS raising, being oversubscribed and raising a total of $3.554 million.

Metex presently holds 7,145,200 shares and 3,500,000 Options exercisable at 25 cents per share on or before 14/3/2006. This shareholding represents 20.4% of the issued capital of ELKEDRA on an undiluted basis, and 23.6% on a diluted basis (assuming all Options are exercised), and represents a significant investment for Metex worth more than $2 million.

Dies wird auch der Grund für den Kursanstieg in den letzten Wochen sein.

Fazit: Meiner Meinung nach wird erst im laufe dieses Jahres klar ersichtlich werden, wie die Beteiligungen von Metex tatsächlich einzuschätzen sind.

Denn es geht ja jetzt erst los, was das schürfen der entsprechenden Ressourcen in dieser Region angeht.
