      Hallo atomania,

News Release; Blue Star Philippine Project, Philippines January 27th, 2002

Mr. Jeff Cusick, Gen. Manager of the Blue Star Philippine Project based in Angeles City, Philippines, informed us today, that after more than a year of Philippine government trials & tests on the WorldStar Utility Vehicles, the first group of vehicles were finally allowed to be registered by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

Although the manufacturer of the WorldStar vehicles, Blue Star Philippines, was actually Accredited back in April of 2001, the LTO felt compelled to demand further testing and additional endorsements by various other agencies, before they would allow the vehicles to undergo the registration process. Mr. Cusick said, "Our vehicles have been so thoroughly tested, I think they should give the vehicle some kind of award, because no matter how hard they tried to find fault with WorldStar, they never could, at anytime, downgrade even one thing."

Mr. Cusick said the company is excited that it had finally passed this rather lengthy and unforeseen milestone. Therefore, we consider this is a long awaited, momentous & historic occasion for all involved. The Philippines itself will benefit from WorldStar in many ways. The entire main body & many of the vehicles parts, were produced right here by Filipino`s, thus creating a lot of jobs. But this is not just another Jeepney. It`s a high tech, low cost, state of the art work truck, that`s truly built to last a lifetime. He added, that this final acceptance & approval by the LTO, should insure the employment of our well trained, 100% Filipino labor force, for hopefully, generations to come.

The company has a lot to be proud of, said Mr. Ed Santos, Plant Manager, thanks to World Transport Authority (WTA), USA and their affiliate CBN WorldStar (Philippines), (CBN). We have learned to manufacture, beyond anyone`s doubt, "World Class Quality Vehicles," right here in our own country and these are Rock Solid work trucks, built by Filipinos for Filipinos.

Mr. Lyle Wardrop, President of the mother company WTA, has made several special trips to the Philippines to actively assist in the ongoing efforts, toward final LTO approval. He said this is great news for our shareholders, who have been waiting patiently for the Philippine operation to take off. The process took the combined effort of Blue Star, CBN World Star and WTA to achieve. However, we felt it critical to overcome this hurdle and due to the process involved, being so typical of many other developing countries, the lessons we`ve learned here in the Philippines, has greatly added to our overall knowledge and experience. Internationally speaking, this will prove to be invaluable, as we will soon need to deal with governments of many other countries, as well.

Mr. J. E. Banning, Gen. Manager of CBN WorldStar (the Philippine Master License holder) stated, we are extremely happy with the out come and can now concentrate on expanding our sphere of operations by opening more factories and teaching many more Filipinos how to build these vehicles. Each facility creates job opportunities and income, which will have a real impact on the local economies, of wherever a WorldStar facility locates.
Mr. Banning added, vehicle sales will definitely attract factory sales. So obviously, we are elated about the prospects for both our domestic & international sales.

During the lengthy accreditation period, we were able to generate an enormous amount of interest in our vehicles, especially in the Service/Cargo Vans and Freezer Vans models, which are ideal for transporting anything from parcels to frozen fish. The attraction of a totally "Rust Free" Body and the vehicles low maintenance cost factor, even in tropical conditions, makes WorldStar very attractive, to both the large fleet buyers and small businesses alike and the truth is, this country really needs a vehicle like this !

The WorldStar utility vehicle incorporates an all brand new, ISO-9001 certified, 1300cc gas powered engine & drive train. It is a first of its kind, incorporating a totally Rust Free Composite Body, utilizing technology similar to that of modern aircraft or high speed racing boats. The inexpensive, yet super durable and lightweight vehicle, can also run on natural or LPGas, which means environmentally friendly.

WorldStar micro-factories are a sort of franchise or joint venture business, offered by CBN, where you can purchase a turn-key factory and become an automobile manufacturer, almost overnight, with the technical support and assistance of CBN`s experts.

Our only problem now, is we need to rapidly gear-up for the orders we expect to be hit with. We are actively looking for partners &/or investors that want to join the CBN family of WorldStar micro-manufacturing factories. There are many designated areas still available, throughout the provinces of the Philippines. For now, anyone who buys a License won`t even have to advertise. They expect the demand to be so great, they say they will probably Sell-Out in advance, for the next one or two years. Maybe that`s why this is such a great business opportunity for those that buy in at this ground floor level.

      World Transport Authority Inc.

El Cajon, California, January 8, 2002 - World Transport Authority, Inc. (OTC BB: WTAI; Frankfurt: 920943) World Transport Authority, Inc. (WTA) announced today that the company is working with the United States Department of Commerce to find strategic partners in the emerging markets for the development of the WorldStarä project.

The United States Department of Commerce U.S. Commercial Services office will be working as WTA`s Global Business Partner in marketing the WorldStarä project. The U.S. Commercial Services is capable of providing a variety of services to companies to expand their potential in the international marketplace. The "International Partner Search" program utilizes their team of experts in over 80 countries to work on our behalf to generate business. WTA provides the marketing materials and background on the company, and for a minimal fee, the U.S. Commercial Services uses its worldwide network and extensive contacts in the target market to identify potential partners. In addition to identifying partners, this government agency will also schedule meetings, attend the meetings and arrange necessary business services, such as translators, in these foreign countries. The WorldStarä economic engine for emerging nations also provides revenue streams for this U.S. Company of about $720 per vehicle produced, which will result in benefit to its many shareholders in the United States.

"World Transport Authority, Inc. has completed each step of the business plan that we outlined for the company," declared Lyle Wardrop, President of World Transport Authority, Inc. "WTA envisioned developing a utility vehicle that was extremely strong, durable, long lasting and inexpensive, and we were successful in developing the WorldStarä. We focused on creating a micro-manufacturing process for producing that vehicle in developing nations, and the WorldStarä "Factory-In-a-Box" emerged. We set out to license our product in developing nations and now have two operational WorldStarä factories, one in Asia and one in South America. However, WTA has struggled with finding the optimum partners in a given market to become the Master License Holder for the territory. Now," concluded Mr. Wardrop, "by teaming with the U.S. Commercial Services Office of the Department of Commerce, WTA is able to utilize their vast resources and market research for the selection of international partners."

WTA is working directly with Julia Rauner Guerrero, International Trade Specialist at the U.S. Commercial Services office in San Diego, California. After a series of meetings to analyze the company and the target markets for its product, the company is ready to launch its team effort with Commercial Services. "We are looking forward to assisting World Transport Authority, Inc. in achieving its global presence," stated Julia Rauner Guerrero. "Companies are not always aware of the services we are able to provide in the international market. We feel we can provide significant support and direction for WTA in its quest for international business partners."

The founders of WTA identified the need for an inexpensive, rugged utility vehicle for developing nations around the world. To meet this need, WTA has designed a vehicle it believes to be capable of the same favorable economic impact for developing nations, that the Ford Model T had in the United States and the Volkswagen Beetle had in Europe.

      Hallo Sker,

      könntet schon sein!! denn:

The spotlight was turned onto the WorldStar utility vehicle, as it was showcased at the U.S. Ambassador`s private residence in Manila. An affair hosted by the US Embassy. Visiting U.S. Asst Sec. of Commerce, Mr. William Lash III did a 15 min speech, focusing on WorldStar as a prime example of outstanding cooperation between the United States and the Philippines. Some typical bureaucratic red-tape which was holding up WorldStar`s progress was removed, which now allows WorldStar to enter the local Philippine market, with the blessings of the Philippine government. Mr. Lash also expressed gratitude to General Roberto Lastimoso, Head of the Philippine Land Transportation Office, for his prompt actions as a government official in extending both his assistance and final approval for WorldStar vehicles to proceed with the normal vehicle registration process.

The WorldStar utility vehicle was the only vehicle showcased, although the Presidents & CEO`s of Ford Motors, Gen. Motors, Nissan and various other automotive manufacturing giants, attended the affair. Ford Motors Philippines president Terry Emirck said, WorldStar doesn`t really compete with anything that Ford produces and that the vehicle is in a unique class of it`s own. President of WorldStar Philippines Jeff Cusick said, That is exactly right ! In fact, WorldStar is not the rich mans luxury vehicle. It was designed to be a low-priced, low maintenance, long lasting, cost effective work truck and although the vehicle will be used for an endless variety of jobs, both in the public & private sector, its initial target market will be the large corporate buyer, looking for fleet service vehicles. We believe our customers can expect to get as much as 50 years + out of a WorldStar vehicle, yet it cost less than US$7,500.

The beautifully landscaped US Ambassador`s residence made for an ideal setting for the single but elegant, gloss black with silver trim WorldStar. The vehicle literally glistened under the special lighting set-up by WorldStar Philippines, Inc. Above the vehicle was a large sign that read; WorldStar - "U.S. Technology at its Best" & "Proudly Made in the Philippine," together with a video show and technical information on the WorldStar product line.

More than 150 people were on hand to welcome the visiting US Asst. Sec. of Commerce and view the WorldStar vehicle. The guests were comprised of high ranking gov`t officials, top executives of Philippine industries, as well as other foreign guests & dignitaries. WorldStar Philippines Gen. Manager John Banning and Pres. Jeff Cusick answered all inquiries of the guests, who seemed genuinely impressed, if not astounded with the technology involved and the seemingly flawless, hand-made composite construction of the vehicle, now being offered at the low price of US$7400.

General Roberto Lastimoso, the Head of the Land Transportation Office personally inspected the vehicle with amiable amassment. General Lastimoso said, "This is a excellent vehicle and because of the vehicles composite body, it won`t rust. That alone, makes WorldStar perfect for the Philippines."

WorldStar Philippines has been working closely with the US Embassy`s Commercial Services, who were instrumental encountered by CBN, prior to their recent final approval. The acting US Ambassador to the Philippines, Mr. Robert Wendell Fitts, said all this company needed, was a little helping hand and it was our pleasure to assist.

US Commercial Services, most Senior Commercial executive, Mr. George Ruffner added, that although WorldStar may be considered a global effort, it was conceived in the US and still is a USA based business, with its parent company, World Transport Authority, located in southern California. Therefore, it is in the US best interest, to see this project gets a fair and level playing field in which to compete, in the Philippines. With Gen. Lastimoso`s "Thumbs Up" approval, CBN WorldStar can now proceed with their business plans in the Philippines with confidence.

schaut Euch doch mal denn link an ... u.a ist da ein nettes Photo zu sehen mit lauter wichtigen Leuten ;)

      The WORLDSTAR "CARABAO"

A New Breed of Animal is introduced to PLDT !

News Release - Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines February 22nd 2002

On Friday February 15, 2002 - The WorldStar "CARABAO", made its first major bid at becoming a serious player, in the highly competitive utility vehicle market in the Philippines. Along with 12 other proto-type service vehicles, the CARABAO was unveiled at Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company`s (PLDT) corporate headquarters in Manila, before some 200+ buyers of the country`s largest user of utility vehicles.

Although the event was a private affair, set up by PLDT- Fleet Management, it certainly would be considered a full blown Automotive Show, as no less than 12 individual vehicles, from seven of the nations top automobile manufactures, were showcased. Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford, Kia, Isuzu, Suzuki and the all-new WorldStar, along with a few car-care product suppliers.

It was obvious that each of the automakers wanted to put on the best show possible as they all spent many hours in the set up of their respective booths. They brought out the balloons and turned on the spotlights. Then came the beautiful Filipina (ladies) models, who unveiled each of the shiny new vehicles, one at a time, as the audience followed from booth to booth.

Each vehicle was dolled up in PLDT`s all new, Red & Yellow color scheme, complete with the company`s logos and markings in an effort to compete for the right to provide the conglomerate with utility vehicles for the next 12 months.

A PLDT spokesperson said this was the first time the company has hosted an event of this scale and that he`d attended many international car shows in the past, that didn`t have near the color and excitement that this show exerted. "We consider this event a big success and it was amazing to see."

Heading WorldStar`s sales promotion team, was Dick Miguel, who said "If this showing is any indication of WorldStar`s long term future, then beyond any reasonable doubt, WorldStar is going to be a front runner in the industry in no time at all. The corporate buyers of utility vehicles really need this vehicle. In the past, a traditional metal-bodied truck in this region of the world has had a very short lifespan, due to an island countries inherent rust problem. Major repairs to rusted-out bodies, are not unusual, within the first year. This expense alone is reason enough to consider the WorldStar as a super long-lived alternative. The entire main body of a WorldStar, will never rust at all. We estimate a WorldStar`s life, to be 50 yrs plus ! And the good news IS, PLDT knows it "!

Mr. Miguel said, each of the competitor`s entries would now undergo PLDT`s 45-day road and field test, prior to PLDT`s orders being placed for more than 1,000 trucks in April. But for the winners of PLDT contracts for multiple vehicle orders, the ordeal is well worth it. Even a small percentage of these orders, is considered substantial to any of the automobile makers, because of the prestige of being PLDT`s choice in vehicles. The fact that every person in the Philippines is familiar with the name PLDT and the advertising advantage it projects, is priceless. Hence the saying "If it`s good enough for PLDT, it`s good enough for me."

Every End User (as PLDT calls their authorized buyers or sub-station managers) I spoke with, showed more than just a keen interest, in the hand made WorldStar. It wouldn`t surprise me at all, if we got the bulk of the orders placed. And if that happens, it will surely spur the expansion of additional WorldStar Micro-Facilities in the Philippines, in our effort to keep up with the anticipated demands for vehicles. "As for me personally, I have no doubt, but that this will be the case."

Above: PLDT Fleet Management with WorldStar Representatives

As of now, WorldStar vehicles are manufactured at their current factory site, located inside the Clark Special Economic Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga.

The WorldStar "Carabao" is constructed from Reinforced Glass Fiber Composite Materials, rugged beyond compare. These durable, versatile, lightweight work vehicles are economical, rust free and are simple to maintain. Many serious advantages for any fleet manager to bear in mind.

      The WORLDSTAR "CARABAO"

Manila Mayor Atienza Hammers Home A Good Point About The WorldStar" Utility Vehicle

News Release - Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines March 1st, 2002

Manila Mayor Joselito Atienza shown hitting the hood of the WorldStar Vehicle with Senior Commercial Specialist, Ms. Aida Miranda.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 26th, 2002, Speaker Jose de Venecia, Jr., House of Representatives , gave the opening remarks to begin the "Direct From The USA" Catalog and Product Exhibit hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service, organized in cooperation with Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. and the American Chamber of Commerce.

As soon as the Speaker concluded his speech, visitors from the Manila Mayor`s office, City Barangay officials and representatives from Philippine National Police "Manila`s Finest" began giving the new WorldStar Utility Vehicle a good once over.

Mayor Joselito Atienza tried, but failed to put even a scratch on the body with a hard rubber mallet, once again proving the quality and superior technology of the WorldStar. Congressman Harry C. Angping of the 3rd District of Manila and the Chairman for the Committee on Trade & Industry, also graced the occasion with filled fascination for the WorldStar.

The US Embassy comes through again with support for WorldStar, with the presence of Sr. Commercial Service Specialist, Ms. Aida Miranda and 3M President Ms. Shiela M. Nichols also showed interest in venturing with WorldStar for 3M products.

From Left to Right: Mr. Necito Chua, CBN WorldStar Director, Ms. Shiela M. Nichols, President & Managing Director of 3M Philippines and Congressman Harry C. Angping, of the 3rd District of Manila.

      Special Prototype

Being flexible at meeting any organization`s needs, WorldStar will begin the construction of a Special Prototype for use by the Police and Barangay patrols. The fact that the WorldStar will never rust, will allow the Local Government Units to spend the taxpayer`s money on other worthwhile projects instead of paying for costly upkeep and then replacing their existing vehicles every 3-5 years.

Officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) marvel at the WorldStar

      Bacolod City, Negros Occidental

A prominent businessman from Bacolod City, was so impressed with the vehicle that he purchased several WorldStar vehicles on the spot, for use in his hardware stores and his shuttle taxi service. He said he also intended to use them as models for sales purposes.

Bacolod City is located in the center of the Philippine 1,200 mile long chain of islands known as REGION VI - Western Visayas. It has a population of more than 6.5 million people and is considered a significant target in the WorldStar expansion plans for the country.

The Bacolod businessman said he was working closely with WorldStar representatives, because he was very much interested to forge a Agreement with WorldStar Philippines, in regards to promoting sales of these much needed vehicles. This represents another first for WorldStar, because reaching these semi-remote areas is critical to WorldStar `s success in this region of the Philippines.
