      Press Release
      SOURCE: Pawnbroker.com, Inc.
Pawnbroker.com, Inc. Signs Key Marketing Agreement
Pawnbroker.com Announces Plan to Market the Alpha Financial Solutions Multi-Purpose Prepaid CashCard to the Pawnbroking Industry
RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2002-- Pawnbroker.com, Inc. (OTCBB:PBOK - news), a development stage company seeking to become the leading provider of financial resources to the pawn industry, today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Alpha Financial Solutions LLC to market pre-paid debit cards to the pawn industry.

Under this agreement, Pawnbroker.com agreed to act as an independent marketing agent to market and sell the Alpha Financial Solutions CashCard, which offers Pawnbrokers and other retailers the opportunity to issue prepaid CashCards with debit card, payroll, and money transfer features. The CashCards are designed to meet the needs of millions of individuals seeking the convenience of a debit card without the necessity of a bank account. The Company estimates that approximately 25% of U.S. households fall into the subprime market and are potential consumers of prepaid CashCards; many of which are served by the pawn industry. This initial three-year agreement provides the Company distribution rights to market the Alpha Financial Solutions CashCard to all industry categories, including, the pawnbroking, check cashing, payday loan, and auto title loan industries.

``We believe that the Company will establish a first-mover advantage with this revolutionary product,`` said Pawnbroker.com`s Vice-President, William Galine. ``The life of the CashCard is anticipated to be measured in years and each use of this versatile `electronic wallet` is anticipated to result in residual income opportunities for both the Company and merchants that offer the CashCard. We believe that there is a substantial opportunity to market the Alpha Financial Solutions CashCard to the pawnbroker industry and other industries.``

Customer funds are FDIC insured up to $100,000. The CashCard`s ``purse`` features will allow the customers of pawnbrokers and other merchants to use the CashCard in a number of applications including:

Automated Teller Machine ("ATM") Services. Cardholders may use
CashCards at any ATM that bears the network logos that appears on
the back of the CashCard, to make cash withdrawals or to inquire
about the amount of funds available to them at more than 900,000
      ATM machines.

Retail Point-of-Sale (``POS``) Services. Cardholders may use

CashCards to purchase goods and services at any participating

retail or other establishment at hundreds of thousands of CashCard

      network locations.

Funds Transfer Services. Cardholders may use CashCards to transfer
any amount of their available funds in card-to-card transfers,
offering an attractive a cost-effective alternative to expensive
wire transfer services. Money transfers outside the U.S. are
easily accommodated with the Alpha Financial Solutions CashCard.

PrePaid Communications. Cardholders may use CashCards to make long

distance telephone calls through a designated telecommunications

service provider. The ``purse`` feature also permits the addition of

prepaid cellular, prepaid dial tone (local telephone access), and

      prepaid Internet access.

Payroll Card. Direct payroll deposit onto CashCards offer
employers uncomplicated payroll disbursement and a reduction in
      printing and clerical costs.

Loyalty and Gift Card. The CashCard can be used by participating

merchants as a Loyalty Card designed to encourage customer

repetition and retention. Pawnbroker.com will offer merchants the

opportunity to ``private label`` the product. Private labeling also

gives opportunity for the CashCard to be used as a prepaid Gift

      Card (an electronic gift certificate).

``The CashCard is an all-in-one card designed to meet the needs of the unbanked,`` said Mr.Galine. ``Alpha Financial Solutions has dubbed this product `A Bank in a Card.` Consumers can use this product for shopping, gasoline purchases, receiving payroll, retrieving cash from ATM machines, making long distance telephone calls, and transferring money to loved ones in distance places around the globe. We believe that the CashCard`s card-to-card funds transfer capability will be especially attractive to those who transfer funds to family members outsider the United States by lowering the costs associated with transferring funds.``

``We are extremely optimistic about the CashCard and the opportunities it presents for both the Company and the pawn industry,`` said Mr. Galine. ``Pawnbrokers will be able to disburse loan proceeds electronically, onto the customer`s debit card, thereby reducing the amount of cash required to be on hand for pawn transactions. Our overall strategy at Pawnbroker.com is to provide the pawn industry with financial solutions and business-to-business services, and offering CashCards is the first of several products that we hope to introduce.``
