Hallo Leute,
wer von Euch verfolgt MADGE ? Habe ein paar auf Anraten unseres Netzwerkadministrators gekauft, der von deren Produkten begeistert ist. Heute hat die Aktie entgegen dem doch sehr negativen Trend am Nasdaq sagenhafte 24% zugelegt, weil eine weitere Kooperation mit einer CMGI-Tochter bekannt gegeben wurde. ImDezember gab es schon mal eine ähnliche News bezogen auf Realnetworks.

Gibt es hier jemanden, der sich für die interessiert ?

Sollte ich jemanden darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben, hier ein kleiner Tip : größere Stückzahlen sind D nicht zu handeln. Da bleibt nur der Weg über die amerikanische Börse.

MADGF ist das Kürzel der Madge Inc. der GRÖSSTE
und fast einzige Hersteller von Token Ring Equipment.
Dieses ist im Hype rund um Ethernet fast in Vergessenheit
geraten erlebt aber nun eine Wiederbelebung, da IBM wieder
massiv in idese Technologie einsteigen wird. Ethernet ist
in grossen Firmennetzwerken nicht tragbar...

Madge stellte letztes Jahr Fast TR vor - Token Ring mit 100 MBit,
das in Messungen Fast Ethernet und auch Giga-Ethernet abhängte !!!

Madge ist auf 12 Monate ein strong buy !!!

Soweit ich weis, stellen sie auf der diesjährigen Cebit eine Gigabit-Lösung auf Token-Ring vor. Internetgeschäft mit Realnetworks und CMGI forcieren sie auch. Auf der existierenden Token-Ring-Verkabelung, wie sie bei vielen großen IBM-Kunden verlegt ist, helfen sie damit aus dem Geschwindigkeitsengpaß. Und der Markt ist riesig, das sind nämlich alles Großkunden !

Det hört sich ja wirklich interessant an. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich mich das letzte mal vor ca 8-10 Jahren mit großen Netzen beschäftigt und Token Ring fast schon vergessen. Werde mal noch ein bißchen telefonieren.

Vielleicht muss man nicht gerade auf dem erreichten Niveau kaufen sondern sollte auf einen Rücksetzer Richtung 10 warten. Gestern hat nämlich der CEO in NY eine Präsentation gehalten, worauf die Aktie in der Spitze auf über 15 stieg, aber mit nachlassender Markttechnik bei 14,5 geschlossen hat, immer noch satte 23%.
Aber nach fast einer Verdoppelung in drei Tagen gegen den Nasdaq-Trend mal drei Tage abwarten !

war das heute schon die Konsolidierung ? Der Kurs war bis fast 12 $ runter und stieg gegen den fallenden Nasdaq wieder auf 13,75 zum Schluß. Mal sehen, wie morgen das Gesamtszenario ist, wenn jemand seine Stücke verschleudert, griefe ich zu.

Die 12$ hat auch am Freitag trotz des schwachen Nasdaq gehalten, hier liegt also erst einmal eine Absicherung (bzw. logisches Stop-Loss).
Jetzt kommt es ein wenig auf die Markttechnik an, die Umsätze haben sich ja schon stark reduziert mit dem gesunkenen Preis. Ich denke, nach dem Ende des Monats werden sie weitere Aufmerksamkeit erfahren, da sie ja unter den Monatstops sein dürften.
Dann könnte es weiter aufwärts gehen.
Mein langfristiges Ziel liegt wenigstens bei 50$, wie auch auf US-Boards diskutiert.

Erwähnung auch heute im Euro am Sonntag, Rubrik Wochengewinner Internationale Aktien. Text dort : Verlagsabschlüße mit Großkunden aus der europäischen Verlagsbranche sorgten für kräftigen Aufwind bei Madge.
Wochengewinn 69%, Platz 1 in der Liste !

Der grosse Kursanstieg ist vielleicht auch darauf zurückzuführen, dass BLOOMBERG TV, unter seiner Rubrik Stock Picks, so für diese Firma geworben hat.

Heute am Nasdaq auch wieder +8% bei anziehenden Umsätzen.
Das Potenzial ist immer noch riesig, obwohl die Aktie seit November schon 800% gemacht hat. Ich habe das Gefühl, es handelt sich um eine ganz große Story.

habe ein bißchen telefoniert. Die story scheint i.O. zu sein. Wie ich höre nichts großartiges, sondern etwas das im Markt mitschwimmt. Viel scheint man nicht verkehrt zu machen in diesem Wert.

Hallo Perestroika und alle die sonst noch Madge haben. Ich habe heute die Teile für 4,8 Eu gekauft. Letztendlich nur aufgrund der Infos aus der Tele-Börse. Im Board sind ja nur uralte Beiträge. Habt Ihr Euch wegen dem Kurssturz lt. Chart aus dem Fenster geworfen oder wie?
Ich hoffe Ihr gebt mir paar Tips ob ich in die Sch... gegriffen habe oder cool war. Ich hoffe man schreibt sich.

hab den gleichen Artikel gelesen. Bin schwer am überlegen auch zu kaufen. Von Gefühl her sollte ich eigentlich zulangen. Wenn alle anderen aussteigen muss man kaufen.

schön einen "Mitdenker" zu finden. Bin eh schwer am Zocken mit Cyberguard, Adultshop, Shaman usw. no risk no fan. Hab auch Adelong im Depot und habe er mal den Zapfen. Was solls. Irgendwie bekommt man letztendlich alles in die Reihe. Letztendlich ahtte ich eigentlich immer ein gutes Händchen.
Gut von Dir gehört zu haben. Laß mich Deine Entscheidung wissen. Und alle Anderen in diesem Board, meldet Euch ruhig auch mit Euren Erfahrungen.

Hallo,

war schon ein paarmal hier, bin ganz überrascht, dass plötzlich wieder über Madge geredet wird.
Sogar in Deutschland wird das Ding gehandelt :-) !!!!

ich warte und warte und warte auf neue Nachrichten über das
europäische Madge Broadcasting Network MBN, das dem Netzwerk
von Real enstprechen soll und mit dem Real Network verbunden wird.
Offiziell wurde MBN am 8.Juni eröffnet. Leider bisher Fehlanzeige über
weitere Nachrichten. Dafür wurde aber mit Red-M ein interssanter Bereich
der Bluetooth-Technologie eröffnet. Mit Bluetooth-Vorreiter Ericsson soll an
Technologien gearbeitet werden. Bei madge.com gibt es recht gute Infos zu den einzelnen
Bereichen, in denen madge tätig ist.


Na, wir werden sehen. Falls ich es noch nicht gesagt hab:
Ich sehe in dem Wert einen eindeutigen Kauf.
