      Hallo!
      Danke

Hier der Text einer Meldung vom 1. Feb.:

Artificial Life Products Available on Linux Platforms

BOSTON, Mass., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the company`s open platform strategy, Artificial Life, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALIF -
news), today announced support for the Linux platform across Artificial Life`s complete eCRM (Internet based customer
relationship management) product line and other upcoming products. Artificial Life (ALife) is using the stability and power of
Linux to offer robust, scalable implementations of the Artificial Life eCRM solution. Several Artificial Life customers have already
successfully implemented ALife eCRM products such as ALife WebGuide(TM) on Linux.

      Success Stories

When MobilCom AG decided to use the Internet as a distribution channel, they selected Artificial Life to develop a virtual
customer consultant to interact with customers in a conversational manner. Artificial Life developed a bot to address directly
visitors to the Web site and provide customers with personal consultancy when purchasing mobile telephone products. In order to
guarantee optimum and total customer care, the Internet shop is connected to the MobilCom Distribution Call Center. When
necessary, the virtual customer consultant alerts a live operator who then can continue the sales discussion without interruption.
Intent on protecting customer relationships and concerned with preventing down-time for the bot, MobilCom chose to deploy
ALife-WebGuide on the Linux platform in order to offer customers an extremely reliable distribution channel.

Net-tissimo.com, one of the most complex Internet sites in Switzerland, uses ALife-WebGuide(TM), including ALife-server, on
Linux to provide customers with a virtual butler as their main interface to the e-commerce site. Customers of net-tissimo.com can
communicate with the virtual butler bot in natural language. The bot explains the system and products, searchs for products and
services, and communicates with clients even when they are not browsing the net-tissimo.com site. The team at net-tissimo chose
to run ALife software on Linux because the platform allows net-tissimo significant growth potential without changing platforms
and Linux integrates very well with HP- based infrastructure.

``We feel at Artificial Life that it is important to support our customers in whatever environment they choose to deploy,`` said
Eberhard Schoneburg, president and CEO of Artificial Life. ``The reality is that most large IT departments have multiple platforms
deployed; Linux is present in many of those companies and the demand is growing. Our commitment to support the Linux platform
is simply an extension of our commitment to our customers,`` added Schoneburg.

Artificial Life provides cross platform support for ALife products. In addition to Linux, ALife-WebGuide has been successfully
deployed on Sun Solaris and Windows NT.
