PharmaPrint and Subsidiary of China New Industries Form $12 Million Joint
Venture Targeting China`s US$20 Billion Market

The Parties Reach Binding Legal Agreement Subject to Final Approval Of Respective Boards

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- PharmaPrint Inc. (Nasdaq: PPRT - news), a leader in the development of health
products from natural plant extracts,
announced today the successful completion of a binding legal agreement with ShenZhen ZeGu Venture Capital Co., Ltd., a
wholly owned subsidiary of China New
Industries Investment Co., Ltd. The companies will form a joint business entity that will sell a wide range of herbal-based
health products in China and the Asia
Pacific region utilizing the proprietary PharmaPrint(TM) Process.

Under the terms of the agreement, PharmaPrint owns 51% of the new entity, principally by contributing exclusive rights to its
proprietary technology. China New
Industries will contribute $6 million in cash and receive in return 49% of the joint venture equity shares. China New Industries`
initial contribution is $1.5 million in
cash; the remaining capital contributions will be provided in installments over a two-year period in accordance with relevant
laws. PharmaPrint will pay a nominal
administrative fee at the time of distribution. PharmaPrint will transfer use rights to its technology with respect to
manufacturing, testing and quality control of
herbal-based health products; provide necessary technical assistance and services; and grant an exclusive license for the use
of the PharmaPrint patents, trade
secrets and trademarks in China and the Asia Pacific regions, while retaining title to these technologies.

The initial stage of the of the joint venture will focus on promotion and marketing of PharmaPrint`s herbal-based health
products produced from raw materials and/or
semi-finished products. Once the initial stage is completed, the focus of the joint venture entity may also include certain
phases of the production process.

This agreement is subject to approval by both parties` governing boards. The Company anticipates that a formal joint venture
contract and articles of association will
be completed within the first quarter of 2000.

Da ich hier anscheinend der Alleinunterhalter bin, werde ich um ca.
14.00Uhr noch den vorbörslichen Kurs reinstellen und mich dann ver-
abschieden. Ich bin auf jeden Fall für 1-2 Jahre in diesem Wert in-
vestiert.

Habe mir vor ein paar wochen welche zu 1,5 gekauft. Mit viel Glück habe ich vor zwei Tagen noch welche unter 1$ bekommen.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher was mit dem Ding passieren soll, aber ich habe noch nicht verkauft. Ich habe auf den Boards ein paar sehr interessante Sichtweisen dieses Papiers gesehen. Wie siehst DU denn die weitere Entwicklung.

Ich habe auch was von einem Lawsuit leuten hören, den die PPRT für sich entscheiden könnte. Hast Du auch was davon gehört und wenn ja woher.

Solltest Du dich kurzfristig aus diesem Ding verabschieden, lass es mich wissen, ja?

Wie es scheint, handelt es sich hier um eine sher interessante Aktie!
Ich möchte mal versuchen, diesen englischen Text ganz kurz auf deutsch zu formulieren.
Das Unternehmen PharmaPrint steht kurz vor einem joint venture mit dem chinesischen Unternehmen China New Industries. Damit will man das tor zu einem gewaltigen Markt sowohl in China als auch im gesamten asiatisch pazifischen Raum öffnen. PharmaPrint vertreibt pflanzlichbasierende Pharamazeutiker. Diese Produkte sollen besonders im chinesischen Raum auf große Resonanz stoßen, weil die Chinesen aus der Tradition her auf pflanzliche Medikamente vertrauen. Wird dieser Versuch gelingen, würde das der Aktie sehr gut tun !!

Harry007, glaube nicht du bist alleine beim einsammeln von
unentdeckten PERLEN. Bin gestern durch Zufall auf diese Aktie gestossen
und habe gleich versucht alles wissenswerte im Internet zu finden.

Die Story mit dem Zusammenschluss in China hat mich schon fasziniert und
ich sehe hier auch großes Potential für dieses `JV` und ergo auch für
die Aktie. Habe gestern noch bei € 1,99 gekauft und heute morgen schon gefreut.

Ich glaube, wenn es etwas mehr Zuspruch für die Aktie gibt (heute mal
NASDAQ abwarten) sehe ich ein Potential von ca 4/5 € in 2-3 Monaten

gibt es neuigkeitens? heute 20 % minus!

Na, selbst schuld wer hier heute wieder mal megr als 12 % Aufschlag zum US- Kurs bezahlt hat und dann einen Absturz von 3 Euro auf 2 Euro verkraften musste.
Diese kurzfristige Konsolidierung sollte sich hoffentlich nicht morgen fortsetzen und wieder für ansteigende Kurse sorgen. Als positiv sehe ich auch, das nach hartem Kampf mit der 2 $ Marke diese zum Börsenschluss dann auch wieder zurückerobert wurde und jetzt vielleicht als Widerstand dienen könnte. (Bin natürlich aber kein Charttechniker, so das ich das nicht genau belegen kann.)
Wir werden ja sehen, wie es morgen weiter geht. Froh bin ich aber, das ich endlich mal den idealen Ausstieg zu 2,99 Euro heute Morgen gefunden hatte und zu 2 Euro kurz vor Ladenschluss wieder reinkam.
