Cyberguard macht Sicherheitssoftware, Firewall´s.

Da wächst was heran.

Aufspringen. Event. Übernahme!

CYBERGUARD CORPORATION ANNOUNCES RECORD FISCAL 2000 SECOND QUARTER RESULTS

      – Six Month Revenues up 30 Percent –

      – Company Reports Operating Profitability, Largest Backlog in Company History –

      – Reported EPS ($0.01) in 2Q99 vs. ($0.20) in 1998 –

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida – February 3, 2000 – CyberGuard Corporation (OTC: CYBG), a leading provider of network security solutions, today reported record financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2000 ended December 31, 1999.

For the six-month period ended December 31, 1999, the company posted revenues of $8.70 million, a 30 percent increase, compared to revenues of $6.68 million for the six months ending December 31, 1998. For the second quarter, the company reported its first-ever operating profit of $148,000, compared to an operating loss of $1.805 million for the same quarter a year earlier. The company reported a net loss of $62,000, or $0.01 per common share, for the quarter on revenues of $4.37 million compared to a net loss of $1.829 million, or $0.20 per share, on revenues of $4.67 million for the second quarter last year.

CyberGuard also reported the largest backlog in company history, attributing it to the success of its recently introduced KnightSTARä product. KnightSTAR is a premium appliance firewall that bundles hardware and software so customers get high-end quality and performance with off-the-shelf convenience and do-it-yourself implementation. In addition to the $2.516 million backlog on December 31, the company has a $6 million commitment for a minimum of 500 KnightSTAR units from a single major customer.

"This quarter represents a significant milestone and new momentum for CyberGuard. We`re operating profitably for the first time. Our revenues are up. We have the largest backlog in company history and we have market demand for our innovative KnightSTAR security solution," said David R. Proctor, chairman and chief executive officer of CyberGuard Corporation. "These results reflect hard work and our continuing efforts to increase shareholder value by providing the network security industry with the leading product and service options."

In addition, management stated that year-to-date service revenue of $1.939 million, which includes customer training, maintenance and support, also showed a significant increase over last year.

Aber irgendwie werden die in Frankfurt bzw.

Ich verstehe das nicht so ganz, kann

      Hallo zusammen,

Diese kontinuierlichen Anstiege nehmen i. d. R. diese Entwicklung.

      Hallo Damenopfer,

      Hallo MACMAX,

bist mir aus SPAZ-Thread´s ein Begriff. Die WKN haste ja schon.

      Hallo Ulli,

Diese WKN ist nach wie vor richtig. Du kannst deine Aktien problemlos in New York verkaufen.

Was meint ihr.

      Guten Morgen,

Also durchhalten!

Also, stay long, longer, am longesten :(

      Hallo ihr getreuen CYBG´ler,

Schätze für dieses Jahr Minimum 2 Mill. Gewinn.

Internet Security Demand Surge Prompts CyberGuard to Offer
      Rebate on Firewalls

      PR Newswire
      Thursday March 16 2:46pm

      - Company Offers $10,000 `Trade-In` on Any Competitor`s Existing
Firewall - - Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks Spur Demand for
      Stronger Firewalls -

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- CyberGuard
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CYBG), a leading provider of network
security solutions, today announced the launch of a rebate program to assist
companies in upgrading their firewall systems. The program allows existing
customers to upgrade to CyberGuard KnightSTAR, the company`s new
premium appliance firewall. The rebate will also let companies trade in any
      competitor`s firewall.

"With the recent rash of cyber attacks, organizations are focusing on their
security needs more than ever before," said CyberGuard Vice President of
Sales Robert Gelinas. "In many instances, they`ve discovered either they
don`t have firewalls, a key component of network security or that what they
do have simply isn`t adequate enough to protect their data. This program is a
direct response to the influx of inquiries following the highly publicized DoS
      attacks."

The rebate program provides a credit of up to $10,000 toward a "trade in"
of a company`s existing firewall product, regardless of make or model, in
exchange for CyberGuard`s recently introduced KnightSTAR(TM) premium
appliance firewall. KnightSTAR bundles hardware and software, giving
customers high-end quality and performance with off-the-shelf convenience
and do-it-yourself implementation. Companies with an earlier
CyberGuard(R) Firewall product who would like to upgrade to a new
KnightSTAR system are also eligible for the credit.

Gelinas stated that the program enables companies to purchase the
highest-quality network protection at significant cost savings. In some
instances because of the rebate, he stated, a company would be able to
purchase the entire package -- hardware and software -- for less than what
they might otherwise pay for software alone.

In order to qualify for the rebate, companies must supply a copy of the
original invoice along with proof of payment for the trade-in firewall and
provide CyberGuard with the media on which the software is recorded. In
addition, if the license is transferable, companies must transfer the license to
CyberGuard. If not transferable, the company must certify to the destruction
of all copies of the old software. The special rebate program is available
      through June 30, 2000.

Bucky Badger on CYBG - just the facts ...

Spoke with CFO recently and came away with the following incremental bullet points:
      1) Revenues accelerating from $13 million last yr to $20 million this yr to $30+ million F01.
      2) $12 million backlog - strongest ever in company`s history (i.e., $12m of $30m already booked in F01).
      3) Turnaround management in place (CEO used to run Platnum Software) and the `98 issues are behind
      the company.
      4) NASDAQ listing expected by June (read huge institutional buying opportunity here - how many
smallcap managers want to own "the next CHKP").
      5) The KnightStar product has had a strong launch
      6) They have started doing business with a large ASP (some speculate EXDS) in a $6 million plus
      contract.
      7) Mgmt hired a new VP of sales in June and there are plans to double the internal sales force over the
next 12 months (makes you wonder about the amount of upside in sales number next year (2x sales force
      only +50% increase in guidance)).
      8) They beat out IBM on the Saudi Arabian contract and CHKP on the ASP contract (see #6). Strong
      competitive position.
      9) We are likely to see a "Fortune 50" customer contract anouncement in the next 45 days (multimillion
      opp)
      10) Mgmt loaded to the gills with stock and they took down 15% of the convert themselves. Huge vested
      interest by insiders.
      11) Expect $5 - $5.5 million/quarter and profitability(!) on May 14th report date (I understand they run a
      strong conference call as well).

Anyway ... just a few fundamental facts for other like-minded investors out there. I have no interest in
offering any advice on the subject. This long term holder is content to let this story play out. It is interesting
to note that CHKP trades at 35x revenues while CYBG trades at 5x. 35x revenues or any fraction there of
      = a huge stock.

      Good luck to all.

mal wieder etwas wind ins verstaubte board bringen.

Computer Associates and CyberGuard Corporation Team Up in Asia

      to Stop

      Internal and External Hackers

Focused Security Solution Incorporates CA Intrusion Detection and Anti Virus

      Solutions With CyberGuard`s Firewall

SINGAPORE, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Associates International,
Inc. (NYSE: CA) today announced it has joined forces with CyberGuard
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CYBG), a leading provider of network security
solutions, to offer companies in ASEAN a special bundled security solution to
detect and prevent internal and external hacking and viruses. The bundled
security solution combines CyberGuard`s industry-leading firewall software
with CA`s advanced eTrust Intrusion Detection and Anti Virus applications.
The value priced package is offered through JR International, a certified
service provider, who will implement the bundled security solution.

CA is focused on providing security for all types and sizes of eBusinesses
so one of the company`s strategies includes teaming up with other security
providers and value-added service experts to offer specially designed
solutions. The bundling of CA`s Intrusion Detection and Anti Virus
applications with the CyberGuard`s Firewall is the first solution to address
      internal and external hackers.
"This solution is unique in offering customers the mandatory essential for
both Internet and Intranet security - firewall, Intrusion Detection and virus
protection," said John Yang, CA regional director, channel sales division,
ASEAN. "Corporate Internet use and the expansion of eBusinesses in Asia
exposes computer systems to greater threats. This bundled security package
dramatically increases security levels by combining two applications from CA`s
innovative eTrust suite with CyberGuard`s firewall software. It`s an
easy-to-implement-and-manage solution that offers a formidable defense against
external and internal hacks and viruses."
"Over half of all security breaches, intellectual property and data losses
occur from within the enterprise," said Paul Henry, manager of business
development and Asian operations, CISSP, for CyberGuard Corporation. "This
bundled security solution addresses internal threats posed by uncontrolled or
poorly managed corporate networks and provides the additional protection
e-businesses need more than ever before," he added.

      Computer Associates` eTrust Intrusion Detection

CA`s award-winning eTrust Intrusion Detection software provides
comprehensive network protection with built-in, proactive defenses for damage
      prevention. Its patent-pending `unobtrusive blocking` technology
automatically detects patterns in network traffic that indicate unauthorized
      access and computer hacker attacks.

eTrust Intrusion Detection protects against low level protocol attacks,
server and desktop intrusion attempts; detects viruses and malicious applets
traversing the internal network; and detects and blocks inappropriate network
access to internal services, desktops and external URLs. It is a

Closing the Gates on Cyber Terrorists

The bundled security solution was announced in conjunction with "Close
Your Gates on Cyber Terrorists," a seminar presented by CA and CyberGuard.
The seminar explored how companies in (country) can protect themselves from
internal and external hackers and included a presentation by Mr. Henry.

According to Henry, denial of service (DoS) attacks pose one of the
largest threats to e-commerce. DoS attacks recently received worldwide
attention when they shut down high profile Web sites such as, Yahoo!,
eBay.com and Amazon.com. A DoS attack involves hackers targeting a URL and
flooding it with requests, which ties up the Web site and prevents access by
other Internet users. Crashing a large system requires that many computers
work together. This is called a distributed DoS attack. It comes from several
points on the Internet, making the assault more formidable and harder to
trace. Recent attacks against large Web sites were distributed DoS attacks
which used a large number of unwitting attackers -- computers owned by
individuals and businesses that have been compromised by Internet hackers.

      so ea

CYBG`s valuation compared to others in the industry:

Here`s a comparable company - WGRD (Watchguard). WGRD trades at 40x revenues. CYBG trades at 3x
revenues and is growing revenues 50% a year (off a lower base, but still 50%). CEO and CFO endorse $20 mil
revs in 2000 and $30 mil revs in 2001. These numbers are before any of the big contracts that they are currently
negotiating. CYBG currently has $17 mil backlog.

*** A Warburg Dillon Read Note on Watchguard ***
      RAISING TARGET PRICE TO $90
SUMMARY:The positive momentum and pace of business activity continues to increase forWatchGuard (WGRD)
as the company benefits from rising demand for its innovativefirewall/VPN product and managed security solution.
With the wave of newdistribution agreements, an important huge ISP announcement yesterday withUunet, and the
release of a new product for the small home and office (SOHO)market, one could argue WGRD has been
sleepless in Seattle. We believe all threeinitiatives and deals offer WGRD strong upside potential in the coming
quartersand make the stock an attractive investment despite its rapid ascent in early2000. We are raising revenue
and EPS estimates for both 2000 and 2001 to reflectimproving new global opportunities and rising market
demand. We are also raisingour 12-month target price to $90 from $35.HIGHLIGHTS:* Following an update from
senior management, we are slightly raising our 2000revenue estimate by $500,000, but boosting our EPS
estimate to a loss of $0.24from a loss of $0.28. The increase reflects slightly higher gross margins andlower
operating losses in the first three quarters of the year. We haveincreased our revenue forecast for 2001 to $81
million from $73 million and EPSto $0.38 from $0.15 to reflect improved revenue opportunities (discussed
below)and slightly higher gross and operating margins.* Our new 12-month target price is $90 based on a multiple
of 30 times our new2001 revenue estimate of $81. WGRD presently trades at 29 times 2000 revenue and15
times 2001 revenue, well below the Internet security peer group average of 40and 35, respectively. We believe our
30 target multiple is in-line with WGRD`scurrent year multiple and also accounts for a discount to the peer group
averagedue to the company`s smaller size and history of operating losses.* We believe WGRD is poised to move
higher in the coming months driven byseveral new catalysts and events. We identify these as: one,
additionalpartnership agreements with leading software/hardware distributors and ISPs;two, the broader scale
roll-out and adoption of WGRD`s new security solution forthe SOHO market; three, positive financial performance
and renewal rates onWGRD`s LiveBroadcast subscription business.* So what is new to the WGRD story that has
caused us to take a more positiveview? A major event was the announcement yesterday of a new ISP
partnershipagreement with Uunet to distribute WGRD`s security solution to their largeglobal corporate customer
base. Uunet is one of the largest ISPs in the worldand a division of MCI Worldcom. New ISP agreements typically
generate approximately $100,000 in initial product sales for WGRD. The larger revenue potential comes over the
following 12-18 months as the ISP resells WGRD`s security service to their customer base.* The deal with Uunet
is significant not only in the future revenue potentialfor WGRD, but in that it represents one of the last major North
American ISPsthat was missing from the company`s impressive arsenal. Furthermore, Uunetalready resells the
Check Point (CHKP-$253-Buy)/Nokia (NOK-$217-Strong Buy) VPNappliance and many considered the company
to turn to these vendors for asolution focused on the SME market. Apparently, Uunet found WGRD`s
LiveSecuritysecurity solution robust and valuable enough to add to its higher-end productset, a major vote of
confidence that WGRD can compete with larger vendors.ANALYSIS:We believe WGRD continues to make the
right moves to capitalize on rising demandfor Internet security solutions in the small- and medium-sized
enterprise (SME)market, where penetration rates remain low and well below the rate for theFortune 1,000
segment. In the firewall, VPN, and managed security services (MSS)space, we continue to believe WGRD
commands the best product at the best priceand should benefit from the huge gap that exists from companies
connecting theirnetwork to the Internet with no form of security whatsoever.A major component of our investment
thesis for WGRD has been the long-termrevenue potential from the annual customer renewals of their
LiveBroadcastsecurity service. This provides WGRD with a recurring, high-margined revenuestream that is
visible and predictable, reducing volatility from product sales. The first renewal contracts came due at the end of
last month and initialindications are that renewal demand is strong. Management has targeted initialrenewal rates
of 60%-80% and we believe the value proposition offered by thisservice and the rising threats from cyber attacks
should enable WGRD to hit theupper end of the range. Some resellers have reported renewals close to 100%.
Wedo not expect this from all distributors and resellers, but WGRD has acomprehensive plan of attack in place to
ensure strong renewals even ifresellers lose focus. We view the launch and strong initial adoption of WGRD`s
security solution forthe SOHO market as an additional positive catalyst for the stock. WGRD acquiredBeadleNet
in October 1999 for the capability to provide network security forbroadband Internet connections. WGRD launched
their SOHO product on February 15,2000, and management stated they plan to sell the entire initial production
runof 3,000-4,000 units. While this product carries a relatively low ASP (startingat $350-$400 for five users with no
VPN), we believe rapid expansion ofbroadband Internet connectivity should drive strong demand over the next
12-18months. We have not build much revenue from the SOHO market into our estimatesoffering upside potential
over this period.Overall, WGRD`s business remains strong and we see momentum continuing to buildin the
coming months. With a new product release, additional ISP anddistribution partnerships expanding the company`s
global presence and revenueopportunities, and strong overall market demand, we believe WGRD is poised
todeliver strong revenue growth. We believe WGRD`s broad distribution network andheavy international exposure
(50% of total revenue) positions the company togain share in the SME market and benefit from rising adoption
rates on a globalscale. We reiterate our Buy rating.

Nachkaufchance !
Was macht das Nasdaq-Relisting ? Was neues?

      Hi Leute,

tausend mark verloren. so langsam sollte schon was kommen vom lieben david!

      An Damenopfer,

In 2 - 3 Jahren.
