Die nationale Statistikbehörde teilte heute in Jakarta mit, dass das indonesische Bruttoinlandsprodukt im zweiten Quartal um 3,5 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr gestiegen ist.

Analysten hatten im Vorfeld der Zahlen mit einem Plus von 3,6 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr gerechnet.

Im ersten Quartal hatte sich das indonesische Bruttoinlandsprodukt auf Jahressicht um 2,2 Prozent erhöht. Als Ursachen für die Zunahme wurde von der Behörde ein Anstieg des Privaten Verbrauchs und der Staatsausgaben genannt.

Ibra to sell property assets this month

The Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) will sell property assets through a Property Asset Sale Program (PPAP) to be announced before the end of this month, deputy asset management credit M. Syahrial said.
"Public announcement will be made at the end of August and an open house will be held in September to offer 1,673 units of properties worth Rp500 billion (around US$55.6 million)," he said.

IBRA will use the Sale Value of Taxed Object (NJOP) as a reference for the sale of the properties, he said.

It will also cooperate with the Directorate General of Debts and Auction to sell problematic properties worth up to Rp4 billion, he said.

He said the Ibra would also cooperate with the ministry of resettlement and regional infrastructures to sell unusable properties.

He said the rebid for debtors` assets through the Assets Credits Sale Program meanwhile was closed that day.

"We expect to get between Rp21 trillion and Rp22 trillion from winning obligors totalling Rp17 trillion and debtors` rebid around Rp3 trillion," he said.

The assets which were unsold through the program will be put into the Portfolio Credit Sale Program (PPKP) and sold upon package basis worth between Rp40 trillion and Rp60 trillion.

IBRA has not set the proceeds to be collected from the PPKP because it has not determined the floor price.

"The IMF has asked against the imposition of a floor price. However, we cannot sell them out," he said.
