Women.com will be the exclusive content provider for a co-branded Women`s
channel on the AltaVista Network. The new channel is available at
www.women.altavista.com as part of the AltaVista Live! network, which offers
best-of-breed vertical content channels that deliver relevant, immediate and
personalizable content from the Web.
Under terms of a three-year agreement, Women.com will provide content and
original programming to the new AltaVista Live! Women`s channel. The channel
is among a series of new AltaVista content offerings that aim to provide
Internet users with a depth and breadth of relevant Web-wide content.
AltaVista is a leading Internet brand with more than 47 million unique users
worldwide, according to company data reported in December.

NEW YORK, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Women.com Networks Inc. <WOMN.O>, a network of Web sites geared toward women, said on Thursday it
signed a three-year deal to be the sole content provider for a new women`s site on AltaVista`s online network. Financial terms of the deal were not
disclosed.
Women.com and AltaVista, a unit of Internet venture firm CMGI Inc. <CMGI.O> with about 47 million monthly visitors, co-developed the new
Web site (http://www.women.altavista.com). The new site features channels on family, fashion and beauty, food, home and relationships, as well as
message boards.
In addition, visitors will have access to the online versions of several major women`s magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Good
Housekeeping and Prevention.
Separately, San Mateo, Calif.-based Women.com said on Wednesday it was also broadening its partnership with America Online Inc., the No. 1
Internet services provider, to better target AOL`s more than 21 million members, more than half of whom are women.
Shares of Women.com were off 1/4 trading at 12-3/4 on the Nasdaq stock market, while shares of CMGI were off 5-1/4 trading at 115-1/4, also
on the Nasdaq.
