kurz vor dem bnp angebot für consors kam doch diese nachriocht von wg HV wird abgesagt. consors bricht ein und wenige tage später kam dann das 12,4er angebot

hier kommt in meinen augen das gleiche die fake news über ftelekoms ausstieg (genau in der 1730 auktion) wunderbar von reuters getimed. Dies wird dann relativ schnell über dpa dementiert. Dresdner Wasserstein ist der Käufer zwischen 5,6 und 6,5 und in den nächsten Tagen wird dann 8 bis 10 bezahlt aber nur für die freien aktionäre und nicht für Schmidt mit dem wird noch lange gestrittend denke ich bis der bankrott ist...

French govt wants France Telecom to buy MobilCom, without capital hike -report

The French government, which holds 54% of France Telecom, has told chairman Michel Bon that he must retain the operator`s position in the German UMTS mobile telecom market, even if doing so will require a full takeover of its associate MobilCom and possibly take on its 6.4 billion euro of debt, according to an unsourced report in French daily Le Figaro.

At the same time, the heavily-indebted operator will have to proceed with a buyout of the 71.5% it does not already own in MobilCom without raising new share capital, the report said.

Michel Bon and Jean-Louis Vinciguerra, France Telecom`s CFO, had decided not to buy out the nearly 50% MobilCom stake controlled directly and indirectly by founder and former chairman Gerhard Schmid, preferring to abandon the company to bankruptcy and write off its investments in the Germann UMTS market.

However, Le Figaro said the French government was against this plan for political reasons, and the divergent views forced France Telecom last Thursday to delay its posting of first half results to Sept 13, in order to find a solution to the MobilCom conflict.

The report did not say how France Telecom would finance the MobilCom buyout, particularly since the operator has said its main priority is to reduce its debt, which Moody`s Investors Service estimates could reach 75 billion euro by the end of this year.

Analysts have surmised that the French government could provide a loan to the company, or else France Telecom could issue preferential, non-dividend paying shares to the government, although they cautioned this could breach EU competition rules.

The Le Figaro report will add fuel to speculation of a rift between Bon and the French government, who could force Bon to resign, in line with the post-TMT bubble ousting of chairmen at other groups such as Duetsche Telekom and Vivendi Universal.

On Friday, French daily Le Monde also suggested on its front page that Bon has come under increased government pressure for not quickly finding a solution to the MobilCom saga.

Wenn ich ich richtig verstehe, will die Regierung in Frankreich die Übernahme von Mobilcom.
