Golden Power(0603) anticipates Hikari & PCCW`s investment complete before March
(Infocast News) Edwin Leung, Fiancial Controller of Golden Power (0603), said after EGM this morning that he hoped the procedure of PCCW and Hikari Tsushin`s investment in the company would be completed before March, meanwhile, Hikari Tsushin and PCCW would appoint 5 and 2 representatives in the board of director respectively.
Moreover, he said that the company would hold an internal meeting tomorrow. The financal and legal advisors would discuss the concerned matter there. The company would also discuss the change of name during EGM held in the headquarter in Tai Po next Monday.
Previously, the market rumours that Hikari Tsushin will give an Internet business to the company for development, however, he claimed that both parties did not have formal contact till now.
The company`s AGM passed the subscription of new shares by Hakari Tsushin and PCCW today, it will issue convertible notes and suggest a share subdivision to Hikari Tsushin.
