B: Dauphin Technology, Inc. Signs A Major European Contract
PALATINE, Ill., Feb 17, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Dauphin Technology,
Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DNTK) today announced the signing of a large
contract with a European Union firm, to provide the high bandwidth xDSL
Set-Top Box for their Telecommunications project. Dauphin`s Set-Top Box
will be an integral part to their Fiber Optics Infrastructure. This
contract is part of a multi-year program, which will provide
unprecedented bandwidth and other IT capabilities in that European
Union nation. Dauphin is one of several major participants in this
International Technology consortium consisting of European and U.S.
based Fortune 100 companies.
Due to the strictly confidential nature of the project and the fact
that certain participating companies are still in the process of
finalizing their agreements, no further disclosure will be made at this
time in order to protect the interests of all the parties involved.
At the appropriate time, when all participants conclude their
respective arrangements, Dauphin Technology, Inc. will fully announce
all necessary specifics pertaining to it`s contract and overall
project. Such announcement is expected to occur within the next 30 to
45 days. At this time it can be mentioned that Dauphin`s portion of the
project involves several hundred million dollars in equipment over the
term of the contract.
