SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov 11, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SPAZ) today announced
its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2002.

Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2002 were $481,000, compared to
revenues of $303,000 in the third quarter of fiscal 2001, an increase of 59%.
Revenues for the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 were $1,392,000 compared
to revenues of $1,215,000 in the comparable nine-month period last year, an
increase of 15%.

The Company reported net income for the quarter of $11,000, $0.00 basic and
diluted per share, compared with a net loss of $175,000, $0.00 basic and diluted
per share, in the comparable period last year. Net income for the nine-months
ended September 30, 2002 was $36,000, ($0.00) basic and diluted per share,
compared to net loss of $267,000, ($0.01) basic and diluted per share, in the
comparable nine-month period last year.

The increase in the revenues reported in the third quarter compared to the
comparable period last year resulted primarily from downward revenue adjustments
made in the third quarter of 2001 to conform estimated revenues to actual
revenues. These adjustments resulted from changes in the reporting procedures
from a chip foundry to two of the Company`s Asian customers and the resulting
delays in reports from those customers to the Company during the transition
period. No such adjustment was required in the third quarter of 2002. Revenue in
2002 was also impacted by the continued overall softness in the PC market and
the uneven sales throughout the consumer electronics market.

Revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2002 increased due to the
addition of three new accounts in 2002, as compared to the prior year, partially
offset by the uneven business performance in the PC and consumer electronics
markets noted above.

The net income for the three and nine month periods are primarily the result of
the increase in revenue and economies and reductions realized in operating
expenses.

"We`re satisfied that we were able to continue at a steady, profitable pace
through our third quarter, when one considers the uneven business environment in
which we compete," stated Henry R. Mandell, Chairman and CEO of Spatializer. "In
the past several months, we`ve been able to achieve new design wins with JVC,
Sharp and Orion. These have come on line and we believe will continue to expand.
On the other hand, the use of our technology under our licensing arrangement
with Apple Computer after the first of the year is highly dependent on their
confidential software plans and we are facing new competition for a share of the
business with Toshiba."

We`re well positioned through several design wins to benefit from the growth of
the recordable DVD market, which is beginning to emerge and whose sales analysts

enjoys as the most widely ported virtual audio solution on the market. Our
business with Sanyo continues to develop throughout that organization. We`re

our solutions that enhance the audio features of cellular telephones are also

auch ich finde, daß die Zahlen und die Inhalte der news recht gut aussehen. Das dritte Quartal war letztes Jahr das schwächste und dieses Jahr gab es eine Umsatzsteigerung um 58% bezogen auf das letzte Jahr. Wenn das nicht gut ist, was dann?

Die Zeiten, als man noch dan X- fache für ein Unternehmen an der Börse bezahlt hat, dürfte auch vorbei sein.

die Salesmen, aber keine Produktionskosten.

Was mich aber optimistisch stimmt, sind die Aussagen von
Henry. Anscheinend haben wir bereits zumindest einen
Vertag bezüglich eines Multi-Media-Handy-Herstellers.
Auch die neuen Produkte für den PC-Markt scheinen interessant.

Last but not least: Henry würde sich sicherlich keinen neuen
salesman für schätzungsweise 30 k im Q anschaffen, wenn er
nicht wüßte, daß neue Einnahmen kommen. Vor allem im Hinblick
auf den auslaufenden AAPL-Vertrag.

Vielleicht darf man bei SPAZ derzeit auch nicht so sehr auf den Netto-Gewinn schauen. Die investieren natürlich viel gleich wieder in Forschung und Entwicklung und Marketing!

Der operative Cash-Flow (net operating cash flow) ist vielleicht ein besseres Maß:

Im 3. Quartal 2001 war dieser noch negativ mit - 0,4 Mio $.
Im 4. Quartal 2001 immer noch negativ mit - 0,3 Mio $.
Im 1. Quartal 2002 positiv mit + 0,1 Mio $.
Im 2. Quartal 2002 positiv mit + 0,2 Mio $.

Für das 3.Q 02 habe ich die Daten noch nicht, da der 10-Q noch nicht raus ist.

Aber die Zahlen zeigen eines ganz deutlich: SPAZ ist auf einem guten Weg!!! Der geringe Netto-Gewinn vertuscht, dass sich die finanzielle Situation extrem verbessert hat!!!

Item 2. Management’s discussion and analysis of financial condition and results of operations
Critical Accounting Policies
Our discussion and analysis of our financial condition and results of operations are based upon our consolidated statements, which have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States. The preparation of these financial statements requires us to make estimates and judgments that affect the reported amounts of assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses. In consultation with our Board of Directors and Audit Committee, we have identified three accounting policies that we believe are key to an understanding of our financial statements. These are important accounting policies that require management’s most difficult, subjective judgments.
The first critical accounting policy relates to revenue recognition. We recognize revenue from product sales upon shipment to the customer. License revenues are recognized when earned, in accordance with the contractual provisions. Royalty revenues are recognized upon shipment of products incorporating the related technology by the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and foundries.
The second critical accounting policy relates to research and development expenses. We expense all research and development expenses as incurred. Costs incurred to establish the technological feasibility of our algorithms (which is the primary component of our licensing) is expensed as incurred and included in Research and Development expenses. Such algorithms are refined based on customer requirements and licensed for inclusion in the customer’s specific product. There are no production costs to capitalize as defined in Statement on Financial Accounting Standards No. 86.
The third critical accounting policy relates to intangible assets. Our intangible assets consist primarily of patents. We capitalize all costs directly attributable to patents, consisting primarily of legal and filing fees, and amortize such costs over the remaining life of the patent (which range from 4 to 16 years) using the straight-line method. In accordance with SFAS 142, “Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets”, only intangible assets with definite lives are amortized. Non-amortized intangible assets are instead subject to annual impairment testing.

Revenue increased to $481,000 in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $303,000 in the comparable period last year, an increase of 59%. Revenues for the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 were $1,392,000 compared to revenues of $1,215,000 in the comparable nine-month period last year, an increase of 15%.
The increase in the revenues reported in the third quarter compared to the comparable period last year resulted primarily from downward revenue adjustments made in the third quarter of 2001 to conform estimated revenues to actual revenues. These adjustments resulted from changes in the reporting procedures from a chip foundry to two of the Company’s Asian customers and the resulting delays in reports from those customers to the Company during the transition period. No such adjustment was required in the third quarter of 2002. Revenue in 2002 was also impacted by the continued overall softness in the PC market and the uneven sales throughout the consumer electronics market. Revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2002 increased due to the addition of three new accounts in 2002, as compared to the prior year, partially offset by the uneven business performance in the PC and consumer electronics markets noted above.

Gross Profit
Gross profit increased to $443,000 (92% of revenue) in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $290,000 (96% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, an increase of 53%. Gross profit for the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 was $1,286,000 (92% of revenue) compared to $1,134,000 (93% of revenue) in the comparable period last year. The decrease in gross margin results from a greater mix of foreign revenues, for which we pay a sales commission, compared to domestic revenues, for which no commission applies.
Operating Expenses
Operating expenses decreased to $432,000 (90% of revenue) in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $469,000 (155% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, a decrease of 8%. Operating expenses in the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 decreased to $1,249,000 (90% of revenue) from $1,417,000 (117% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, a decrease of 12%. The decrease in operating expenses for the three and nine-months ended September 30, 2002 result primarily from high research and development expenses in Q2 and Q3 2001, which were unusually high. At that time, we reported that we had stepped up our engineering effort and our use of outside consultants to move several projects closer to completion. These projects were completed in 2001 and research and development have returned to normalized levels over the past several quarters.
General and Administrative
General and administrative expenses increased to $212,000 (44% of revenue) in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $195,000 (64% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, an increase of 9%. General and administrative expenses decreased to $530,000 (38% of revenue) in the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 from $553,000 (46% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, a decrease of 4%. The increase in such expenses in the three months ended September 30, 2002 result from legal , accounting and printing costs associated with preparing Form S-1 during the period. The decrease in general and administrative expense for the nine month period result from the discontinuation of use of an outside investor relations consultant in May 2001, partially offset by costs of the Form S-1 previously discussed.
Research and Development
Research and Development expenses decreased to $98,000 (20% of revenue) in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $173,000 (57% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, a decrease of 43%. Research and Development expenses decreased to $341,000 (24% of revenue) in the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 from $534,000 (44% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, a decrease of 36%. The decrease in research and development in the three and nine month periods result from the expansion of the audio engineering staff and increased use of consultants to complete specialized projects during the second quarter of 2001 and an unfilled position in the third quarter of 2002.
Research and Development activities comprised the Company’s continued efforts to identify, validate, and develop new products at Desper Products Inc. Specific engineering efforts were directed toward productizing new audio enhancement technology, including Spatializer PCE and Spatializer Natural Headphone, porting support of Spatializer N-2-2 Ultra™ to current and potential licensees during the quarter, developing products to support licensing arrangements which have not yet been announced, and developing new products for future introduction and licensing.

Sales and Marketing
Sales and marketing expenses increased to $122,000 (25% of revenue) in the three months ended September 30, 2002 from $101,000 (33% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, an increase of 21%. Sales and marketing expenses increased to $379,000 (27% of revenue) in the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 from $330,000 (27% of revenue) in the comparable period last year, an increase of 15%. The increase is attributed to expanded sales travel and the hiring of a senior sales and marketing executive during the period ending September 30, 2002.
Other Income and Expense
Income and other expense consist primarily of interest earned on short-term investments and interest paid on related party debt. Net other expense decreased to $228 from net other income of $4,407 in the prior year comparable period. Net other income in the nine- months ended September 30, 2002 decreased to $714 from $17,489 in the comparable period last year. The decrease is due to significantly lower short-term interest rates earned on our cash investments. This was partially offset by the pay-off of $225,000 in term loans to Related Parties in May, 2001.
Net Income (Loss)
The Company reported net income for the quarter of $11,000, $0.00 basic and diluted per share, compared with a net loss of $175,000, $0.00 basic and diluted per share, in the comparable period last year. Net income for the nine-months ended September 30, 2002 was $36,000, ($0.00) basic and diluted per share, compared to net loss of $267,000, ($0.01) basic and diluted per share, in the comparable nine-month period last year. The net income for the three and nine month periods are primarily the result of the increase in revenue and economies and reductions realized in operating expenses.
Liquidity and Capital Resources
At September 30, 2002, the Company had $917,000 in cash and cash equivalents as compared to $869,000 at December 31, 2001. The increase in cash and cash equivalents is derived from general operating activities. The Company had working capital of $1,115,000 at September 30, 2002 as compared with a working capital of $1,103,000 at December 31, 2001. The Company’s future cash flows are expected to come primarily from audio signal processing licensing, Foundry and Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (“OEM”) royalties, debt issuances, common and/or preferred stock issuances including warrant and option exercises or through venture and/or strategic investors.
Like other operating enterprises, the events of September 11, 2001 in the United States brought a degree of uncertainty to our operations and hindered our ability to plan and meet with our contractual partners outside the United States in this dynamic environment. The operations of our business, and those of our competitors, may also be impacted by the continued trend in the semiconductor industry to offer free, but minimal audio solutions to certain product classes to maintain and attract market share. This challenges our ability to convert business opportunities to licensing agreements in those segments that allow us to maintain or rapidly increase revenue. As a result, the Company must develop and license its products and software solutions in a market that treats some audio products, including those of our competitors, on a commodity basis in those cases where the OEM product is considered a commodity product. While our software applications deliver what we and most manufacturers who listen to it believe is a significantly superior audio experience, the competitive market forces that pressure manufacturers to reduce their costs may create some resistance to new technology adoption or use. In addition, certain of our competitors appear to be pursuing a business plan that disregards commercially reasonable pricing to achieve a larger market penetration even if the penetration will not provide for viable margins or returns. The Company has responded by offering additional products targeted to each price/quality segment of the market and continues to aggressively pursue new opportunities in emerging product categories and complements to our existing core business. In addition, our products have been positioned as a means for manufacturers to save money while delivering an enhanced audio experience. Nevertheless, these market conditions and competitive forces make it more challenging for the Company, and its rational commercial competitors, to enhance their operating results.

We have a related party obligation of $112,500, which is due upon demand. We repaid related party obligations of $225,000 plus accrued interest of approximately $30,000, which were convertible into Common Stock at our or the Lender’s option in June 2001. The Company owed a total of $112,500 to related parties on December 31, 2001.
In December 1999, we completed a set of financial transactions (the “December Transactions”) with certain existing holders of our equity and debt and with new institutional investors. The December Transactions included the private placement of 1,884,254 additional shares of our Common Stock ($1.05 million in new capital or $0.56 per share), the issuance of warrants to acquire 2,100,000 shares of Common Stock exercisable for three years at an exercise price of $.67 per share), the cancellation of 500,000 warrants to acquire Common Stock issued in that earlier financing, the conversion of $1 million of short term debt into a new Series B Redeemable Convertible Preferred Stock (“Series B Preferred Stock”) and the conversion of $225,000 of secured debt into secured convertible debt.
In the December Transactions, $895,000 in short term loan advances from officers, directors and their affiliates and certain other securities holders, and accrued interest of $134,647, were restructured into the $1,000,000 in new Series B Preferred Stock. The Series B Preferred Stock, and any dividends there from not converted into cash, are convertible commencing in 2001 into restricted Common Stock at a 10% discount, based on the 10 day average closing bid price prior to the conversion, but subject to a minimum conversion of $.56 per share and a maximum of $1.12 per share. We have a three year option to redeem any Series B Preferred Stock, not sooner converted, in whole or in part, in cash.
In the December Transactions, $225,000 of secured debt, including accrued interest, was converted into secured long term convertible debt. The long term debt is held by existing institutional investors and is secured by essentially all of our assets. The debt, and accrued interest, is convertible at our or the holder’s options into registered Common Stock at a conversion price equal to the average 10 day closing bid price prior to conversion but subject to the same minimum and maximum conversion prices set for the Series B Preferred Stock.
We have $75,000 in Net Liabilities of Discontinued Operation which represents primarily accrued legal fees and is estimated to be sufficient to pay such fees to address outstanding claims. We do not expect the final liability to be in excess of this balance.
Funds generated by these financing activities as well as cash generated from our existing operations and customer base is expected to be sufficient for us to meet our operating obligations and the anticipated additional research and development for our audio technology business.
The Company will also continue to consider and evaluate capital investment or business arrangements with financial or strategic participants or investors as such opportunities become available to the Company on terms that enhance shareholder value and support the Company’s business strategy.
To the extent the Company maintains or exceeds its projected revenues and is not required to fund significant contingencies, it expects to continue to retain its current cash reserves and therefore, maintain its liquidity position at a consistent level both on a short-term and long-term basis. To the extent that the Company does not achieve current operating levels or is required to fund contingencies, it will be required to use some of its cash reserves and this could impact its longer term liquidity. In addition, we wish to achieve accelerated growth and to take advantage of the dynamic market forces in which we operate, rather than to be affected by them. CURRENT BUSINESS INFORMATION: Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiaries, is a developer, licensor and marketer of next generation technologies for the consumer electronics, personal computing, enterprise computing and entertainment industries. HISTORICAL BUSINESS INFORMATION: Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc., formerly MultiDisc Technologies, Inc., was formed in June 1996 when MultiDisc Technologies acquired development stage optical disc storage and robotics assets and technologies from Home Theater Products International, Inc. (HTP), a debtor in possession.
On February 12, 1997 Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.`s common shares were delisted from the VSE. Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.`s common shares will continue to be quoted on NASDAQ small cap markets.
On March 7, 1997, Spatializer Audio Laboratories raised $2,000,000 through a private placement of 1,600,000 units in Spatializer Audio Laboratories consisting of a share of common stock and one-half of one non-transferable share purchase warrant. Designed for next generation DVD players with high performance processors, Spatializer N-2-2 Ultra is now available to OEMs on Zoran Corporation`s Vaddis V multimedia processor.
February 4, 2002 SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. has licensed Spatializer N-2-2.(TM) , the de facto standard for DVD virtual surround sound, for its new Fisher DVD-SL30 DVD Player. The DVD-SL30 player is scheduled for release into the global retail market in March 2002.
February 14, 2002, signaling the start of a significant new consumer-direct software initiative to both stimulate and diversify growth, Spatializer Audio Laboratories opened its Spatializer(R) e- Store(TM )at Yahoo!(R) Shopping. Spatializer e-Store may be accessed through both Yahoo! and www.spatializer.com , Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.`s website.
May 29, 2002, Spatializer Audio Laboratories filed an S-1 registering 4,922,103 sharesof common stock, 3,492,650 currently outstanding shares of Common Stock held by officers and directors, 179,453 currently outstanding shares held by others and up to 1,250,000 shares of Common Stock issuable on the exercise of currently outstanding warrants.
July 1, 2002, Spatializer N-2-2(TM) has been incorporated into the RD-X2 DVD recorder from Toshiba, which is now shipping in commercial quantities. July 9, 2002, Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.`s Spatializer Natural Headphone(TM) is now available for license based on Cirrus Logic`s CS493xxx-CL family of Digital Signal Processors (DSP). The offering combines the market`s best selling DSP for A/V receivers with Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Inc.`s natural sounding virtual surround headphone algorithm.
July 30, 2002, Spatializer Audio Laboratories filed an S-1/A registering 5,772,103 shares of common stock, 3,672,103 shares of Common Stock may be sold by certain shareholders, which are currently outstanding, and 2,100,000 shares of Common Stock reserved for issuance on the exercise of Warrants that have not been exercised. "accumulated deficit of $45,430,786" heißt nicht, daß SPAZ momentan 45 Mio. Schuden hat, sondern in der Vergangenheit (SPAZ stand im letzten Jahrtausend nämlich schon einmal kurz vor dem Aus, hat aber gerade noch einmal durch neue Investitionen den Dreh gekriegt) 45 Mio. Verluste gehabt hat. Dies wirkt sich meiner Meinung nach steuerlich gesehen positiv aus, wenn SPAZ in Zukunft Gewinne macht. Und wie die Meisten hier sicherlich wissen, gehe ich davon aus, daß die Umsätze und dementsprechend die Gewinne überproportional steigen werden.

Andy, Du sagst immer Henry muß weg. Dies sehe ich nicht so. Ich bin äußerst froh, daß Henry SPAZ mit ruhiger Hand durchs Fahrwasser steuert. Es gab in der Vergangenheit des Internet- und Börsenbooms eine Menge Firmen, die meines Erachtens überpauert haben und deshalb Pleite gegangen sind. Die Zeit war so verführerisch auf Teufel komm heraus zu versuchen zu wachsen, zu investieren, also Geld auszugeben. Henry hat sich zum Glück nicht dazu verleiten lassen. Deshalb schreibt SPAZ momentan auch scharze Zahlen.

Viele hier sind meiner Meinung nach viel zu ungeduldig. SPAZ ist kein Kurzzeitinvestment, sondern eine Langzeitinvestition, die sich zumindest meiner Meinung nach in absehbarer Zukunft rechnen wird.

ich habe ein wenig recherchiert und bin auf die Internetseite

mit dem Begriff Spatializer gestoßen. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob dieses Firma damit gemeint ist.

Es gibt beim Otto-Versand nämlich auch Orion-Fernseher und Orion-DVD-Player, wobei mir nicht bekannt ist, ob es welche mit Spatializer gibt. Könnte aber wohl sein.

Manchmal verliere ich den Überblick, wo alles Spatializer eingebaut ist. Bei meiner soeben durchgeführen Suche bin ich auch auf die Seite http://www.outerlimitsaudio.com/product.cfm?ProductID=4370 mit einem eindeutig spatifizierten Autoradio (Spatializer 3-D stereo sound) von Kennwood gestoßen. Ich weiß jetzt selber nicht, ob das für mich neu ist oder nicht. Aber das macht ja auch nichts. Es ist immer wieder schön ein spatifiziertes Produkt zu sehen.

Hi Chi,
ich hatte genau dieselben Seiten gefunden. Mich wundert nur, dass von einem Design-Win gesprochen wird und keine News darüber existiert.
Jedenfalls bin ich beruhigt, dass ich nicht der einzige bin, der davon nichts mitgekommen hat.
Das Kenwood-Autoradio ist ein alter Hut. Leider gibt es nur das Eine.
Orion als Gerätehersteller ist mir auch bekannt, aber ich glaube nicht dass sie spazifiziert sind.

The Gist: Sharp is at it again this week. It just can`t seem to help
knocking out DVD recorders. The DV-SR200 is a PC card slot DVD
recorder capable of handling both DVD-RW and DVD-R media. It will
record for an hour in the highest quality fine mode and up to six
hours at the lowest quality. The progressive scan DVD player will,
naturally, also handle regular music CDs, CD-R, CD-RW and video CDs. A
nice touch is that the VR (video recording) function is compatible
with G-code, so all you need to do is enter the G-code number and any
thoughts of programming hell are history.

The PC card slot means that users can play back JPEG images from their
digital cameras and whatever else on the TV, but it`s also possible to
record from the media in the slot to CD-RW to make some more
permanent, hard copies. There`s also a DV terminal on the machine, so
if you have one of those cute little miniDV camcorders, the DV-SR200
suddenly provides you with a neat way of laying your footage down onto
discs and delighting the whole family with pictures of little Johnny`s
first steps or some other such momentous event -- that`s the Christmas
present list sorted, then.

Haha! Der Hammer ist wohl umgekippt und hat das Bollingerband gestern nach unten durchhauen....ich habe jedenfalls die günstige Einkaufsmöglichkeit vorsichtig genutzt und bin wieder dabei.
Denke Ende Dez/Anfang Jan gibt´s noch billigere gebratene Spatzen, wenn dem Letzten dann klar wird, dass Apple als Kunde verloren ist...oder hat Henry´s Crew die Mac OSX Unterstützung endlich auf die Reihe gekriegt? Als ich ihn angangs des Jahres diesbezüglich anschrieb, beklagte er sich, dass Apple hierzu nicht genügend Unterstützung leiste - an anderen Dingen wie einem Headphone für den iPod mehr interessiert sei - und dass sich keiner bei SPAZ mit Mac OSX auskenne und dass sie keinen einzigen Applerechner in der Firma besäßen.
Diese Aussage fand ich in mehreren Beziehungen schon recht seltsam...
Eines beschäftigte mich besonders: Wozu einen Headphone für den iPod? Apple hat doch seinen eigenen hervorragenden Software-Equalizer und braucht keine Musik-Soundverbesserung für einen Kopfhörer. Kommt etwa eine Art bespazter iPod der statt mp3 auch Videos abspielt? Das wäre ein echter Hammer, der unser Bollingerband nach oben durchhaut.

DVD-Rekorder mit 160 GByte-Festplatte

Festplatten-Videorekorder konkurrieren immer mehr mit DVD-Rekordern. Jetzt hat Toshiba Beides im "RD-X3" vereint. Den Angaben nach kann der Neuling, der im Januar für umgerechnet 1650 Euro auf den japanischen Markt kommt, Videoquellen im DVD RAM sowie -R-Format aufzeichnen. Maximal sollen auf eine doppelseitige DVD zwölf Stunden Video passen (9,4 GByte).

Das Gerät soll zudem noch mit einer integrierten 160 GByte-Festplatte ausgestattet sein. Im Rekord-Modus passen laut Toshiba bis zu 208 Stunden Programm auf den Massenspeicher. Weitere Features sind ein Ethernet-Anschluss, über den sich der Video ins LAN integrieren lassen können soll. Über die LAN-Verbindung soll der RD-X3 auch Daten oder Kommandos per Mail empfangen können. Somit könnten Aufnahmebefehle per Mail vom Büro oder Handy aus versendet werden.

Toshiba zufolge werden in Japan zwei ähnliche Geräte der RD-Serie verkauft. Der "RD-XS30" und "RD-XS40" diese beiden Typen verfügen neben DVD-Brenner über eine 60 beziehungsweise 120 GByte große Festplatte. Der Hersteller hat bisher jedoch keine Pläne die Geräte nach Europa zu bringen.

Weihnachten ist dieses Jahr verschoben worden, aus Gründen der Sparsamkeit. Hat Gerhard so angeordnet. Mehr als eine Woche später war allerdings nicht drin, da hat Verdi geblockt.

Als Spatializer - Aktionär braucht man natürlich nicht so sehr auf den Euro zu schauen. Da ist das wurscht!
Tja, hättest Dir vor geraumer Zeit auch mal ein paar Aktien kaufen sollen, dann ständest Du jetzt anders da. Wahrscheinlich hast Du vor lauter Maloche die Gerd`sche Anweisung nicht mitbekommen. Maloche ist bei den Spatzenhaltern jetzt nicht mehr angesagt. Pech für Dich, zum Einsteigen ist es jetzt leider zu spät!

Vergiss Spaz, die Manschaft ist nicht fähig für Resultate. Jahrelanges rumeiern, was soll das? Kann ich mir mit meiner Firma nicht erlauben. Die Bude dicht machen und irgendetwas sinnvolles neu anfangen. Wie depremierend muss der tägliche Weg zur Arbeit für diese Leute wohl sein?
Ebenso unsere unfähige Regierung, bestehend aus Zivilversagern, Intelektuellen und Lehrern( O.K. ein paar Juristen sind auch dabei)! Noch keiner von denen hat am freien Markt Geld erwirtschaftet. Und sowas lenkt den Wirtsschaftsstandort Deutschland.

Tja, das mit Spaz hab ich verpasst,alternativ werde ich demnächst mein Geld wohl mit Steuern verbrennen!

(allerdings nur für ein Taschengeld),
Trotzdem bin ich mal wieder dabei, ich denke dies Jahr könnte mal was hängen bleiben im Spinnennetz.

Auch wenn ich nicht mehr in soooo großen Stückzahlen kaufe, wie noch vor einem Jahr
Ich habe eher die Hoffnung, dass wir in Sony-DVDP drin sind,weil Sony uns für die PS3 testen will. Und deshalb auch das neue Produkt. Kann mich irren, wie so oft.

Für mich ist 2003 jedenfalls definitiv das letzte Jahr. Dementsprechend groß ist die Erwartung...

Die sind dort genauso ratlos wie wir hier.

Mail-schicken bringt anscheinend auch nix mehr, da scheinen die Spazifisten inzwischen allergisch drauf zu reagieren.

Meine persönliche Stragegie: In die Ecke schaufeln und erstmal liegen lassen. Vielleicht verschimmeln sie, vielleicht brütet dort ein (Pleite-)Geier, vielleicht auch eine Schwalbe. Jetzt verkaufen wäre vielleicht der beste Schnitt, traue ich mich aber nicht.

(NASDAQ:QSND - News), a leading developer of audio, e-commerce and multimedia software products, reported revenues for the three months ended December 31, 2002 of $1,290,000 as compared to $597,000 for the same period in FY2001. The operating profit for the quarter was $625,000 or $0.09 per share as compared to an operating loss of $(164,000) or $(0.02) per share for the same period last year. Including non-cash items such as depreciation and amortization, net income for the period was $453,000 or $0.06 per share as compared to a loss of $(298,000) or $(0.04) per share for the same period in FY2001.
Revenues for the year ended December 31, 2002 were $4,224,000 compared to $3,026,000 in FY2001. The operating profit was $1,617,000 or $0.23 per share in FY2002 and $37,000 or $0.01 per share in FY2001. Net income for FY2002 was $1,129,000 or $0.16 per share as compared to a loss of $(733,000) or $(0.10) per share in FY2001.

The Company reported a working capital surplus of $3,284,000 at December 31, 2002 of which cash comprised $2,621,000. Cash flow from operations totaled $1,188,000 for the year. After investing $614,000 in new technology and assets, cash increased $573,000 for the year.

Der letzte deal gestern 142k auf bit hat mich schon irritiert.
NITE hat die scheinbar kassiert und ist gleich auf den ask mit 0,05
Scheint so, dass die MMs versuchen, gleich wieder zu verkaufen, andererseits, bin ich der Meinung, dass die MMs auf einen schönen Batzen shares sitzen und die wollen sie ja nicht billiger wieder raushauen.
Ich denke, dass es bald zu einem Hype kommen könnte, der aber nicht sehr hoch seine Spitze haben wird.

Ist nur meine Meinung und vielleicht kommts wiedermal anders.

Wir haben damals LG verloren. Wir haben Toshiba bei den Billiggeräten verloren Wer rational an die Sache ran geht, dürfte nicht kaufen. Wissen wir ja alle. Andererseits ist die Binsenweisheit, die hier seit Jahren gepredigt wird immer noch richtig: Ein lukrativer Vertrag und unser Gewinn schnellt in die Höhe – und damit der pps.

VIELLEICHT können wir ja:
-Unser Sony-Programm ausbauen
-Über Micronas in die Digital TV reinkommen (für Sommer 2003 angelündigt)
-endlich was von Mediatek hören
-Sharp und Sanjo überzeugen
-die Grundlagen für das Digitalradio legen (der kommende Markt nach der DVD?!)
-PS2, Gamecube und wie sie alle heißen einsacken? – Das wäre dann allerdings wirklich der Superdeal...

Ich weiß, jeder hier kann diese Leier nicht mehr hören, geht mir auch so. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, habe ich auch schon über den Ausstieg nachgedacht. Andererseits: ... s.o.

Schätze in diesen Tagen geben viel Longs auf. Siehe RB-Board. Ich gehöre noch nicht dazu. Vielleicht der Fehler meines Lebens... Wie war das mit dem Garten?

Also noch mal schönes WE. Mein PC zu hause hat die Hufe hochgerissen (Netzteil und Festplatte). Wenn, dann geht halt alles schief...

Du hast das Programm von 2002 rausgesucht. Tja, wie die Zeit vergeht...
Ich glaube nicht, dass Spatializer dieses Jahr bei der Cebit vertreten ist. Randy tummelt sich wohl auf der Digital Media Summit (26. – 27.03 in LA) zusammen mit Zoran, Intel, Cirrus, DTS, Sony Pictures, Microsoft etc.
Falls Du ihn trotzdem treffen solltest, frag ihn wie es ihm geht. Er wird Dir sicher antworten, dass er Dir keine Antwort geben kann, bis sein Arzt nicht bereit ist, diese News mit ihm zusammen zu veröffentlichen (siehe Mail an BEN im RB).

Ich habe übrigens noch keine Antwort von HM, außer dem Autoreply, er sei „on the road“. Wohin die Straße wohl führt???

Ich war einmal auf der Cebit und hatte damals ein interessantes Gespräch mit einem Manager von Internix, die wohl auch die Sony Geschichte eingefädelt hatten. Er war jedenfalls redseliger.
Ich habe diesmal nicht vor zur Cebit zu gehen.

There`s never been much rhyme or reason with our stock price. We have a profitable company with growing revenues. We continue to garner a good degree of interest from potential customers, such that there are deals continuing to develop and other good deals that are not yet announced due to OEM product introduction considerations. There are even a few tantalizing prospects. OEMs give us praise on our technology, particularly in head to head comparison with the competition. So go figure.

The stock market is in the toilet. People in the US have lost unbelievable sums in the market. There is global political uncertainty. War is imminent. Desper sells stock so he can have income...he is semi-retired. Shorting of OTC BB stock, while illegal, is nevertheless common. Bashers on RB are proof of this.

We can`t speculate on the share price. It makes no sense that the price is half that of 5 years ago when we were sitting alone in Woodland Hills selling furniture to make payroll and now we have a fully operating company. All we can do is to continue to work hard and be aggressive in uncovering and capitalizing on opportunities. The other things are beyond our personal control. As a wise man once said, "This too will pass."

Na, da gefällt mir Deine ID Michiko aber besser als Dein richtiger Name!

Tantalizing: verlockend, aber auch quälend.
Mir ging`s auch schon mal so (ca. 1978), dass ich Hausrat (überflüssiger Radiowecker; ein Jacket, das ich eh nicht mehr tragen wollte) verkaufen, ja, nicht unbedingt musste, aber wollte, um mir selbst ein Zeichen zu setzen.
Im Jahr drauf ging`s wieder aufwärts und ich habe meine erste Harley gekauft. Die aber schon wieder im November nach nur 3 Monaten aus ähnlichen Gründen wieder verkauft.

Also: wenn die Antwort kein Fake ist und Du Dir das Ganze nicht ausgedacht hast, war das ein eindeutiger Kaufhinweis, was Henry eigentlich nicht machen darf. Mit dieser Antwort hat er sich sehr weit aus dem juristischen Fenster gelehnt.

Nochmal also: jetzt wird sogar die Kaffeemaschine verhöckert, um jeden Zipfel an share zu ergattern, der angeboten wird.

danke, daß Du die Antwort veröffentlicht hast. Hört sich recht gut an und ist ausnahmsweise ja mal recht umfangreich. Ich jedenfalls baue weiterhin auf SPAZ.

Besonders der Hinweis auf das Shorten stimmt meiner Ansicht nach hundertprozentig. Wenn man sich die Beiträge von spazch11 im Raging Bull Board ansieht, dürfte eigentlich alles klar sein.

die Richtigkeit des Schreibens kann ich auch bestätigen. Habe gestern das gleiche Mail bekommen.
Ich lese ihn auch als Kaufempfehlung. Bin sehr gespannt auf das was kommt. Die Sony-Geräte sind dann wohl der Ausbau vorhandener Verträge „continuing to develop“ die HM genannt hat?! „There are even a few tantalizing prospects.“ Das könnte die PS3 sein (Karo, die meinte ich natürlich auch!) oder oder oder

Sollte mich nicht wundern, wenn unsere Kauforders das ASK in den nächsten Tagen anziehen lassen. Grins...

Die Sony-Recorder sehen wirklich prima aus. Hoffentlich kommen wir in der nächsten Auflage auch in die DVDP. Sind ja leider erst vor einigen Monaten ohne Spaz auf den Markt gekommen. Abwarten...

Was ich nicht beurteilen kann, aber vielleicht ganz entscheidend ist:

WIE gut sind denn die SPAZn im Vergleich zur direkten Konkurrenz?

Gibt es für Sony evtl. ein "must" für SPAZ, wenn man sich denn schon soundmäßig aufmotzen muss, um gegen die X-Box mit PS3 bestehen zu können?

Was dran ist, wissen nur die OEM`s selber. Ich denke, dass viel über den Preis geht - und dazu zählt natürlich, wie einfach die Software zu integrieren ist. Wenn ich das richtig sehe, hat Spaz da einiges richtig gemacht. LSI ist einer der größten Chip-Hertsteller und hat - neben Zoran und anderen - Spaz gewählt. Ich denke, da liegt eine große Stärke. Ob`s ein "must" ist, weiß der Himmel.
Ich glaube nicht, dass es mit unserem pps noch sehr weit runter gehen kann. Wir sind bald bei unserem Cash-Preis...
Leider kann ich zur Zeit nicht mehr nachkaufen.

Warten wir den Sommer noch ab, ich denke dann sind wir schlauer.
