Hallo El,

zwei Dinge haben mir heute ganz besonders gefallen:

1. Jetti wurde mundtot gemacht durch den Lauf der Dinge

2. Die Schlussauktion auf Xetra mit den 11683 Stücken zu 0,98

Nächste Woche geht es dann los und ich rechne mit großer Volatilität (runter auf 0,9 - rauf auf 1,10 usw)

Ich weiß auch nicht was es derzeit bei den Medienaktien für einen besseren Kandidaten für die Zukunft geben soll. Constantin mag ja nett sein mit seinem Jesusvideo, tolle Einschaltquote, gebracht hat es dem Kurs aber nichts (-3% heute bei 5 Trades auf Xetra). Bei Splendid ist unklar, wofür sie Geld bekommen, das Interesse ist auch nahe 0 (auch nur 3 Trades heute und im Minus geendet)

Immerhin hat Senator heute ein erstes Zucken gezeigt, aber es sollte wohl jedem klar sein, wem man den Vorzug gibt, IEM oder Senator har har.

IEM steht heute im Xetra an 11er Stelle, was die Anzahl an Trades angeht und an 6er Stelle, was die Tagesperformance angeht. Beide Werte zusammengenommen war IEM heute definitv Tagessieger, das will schon etwas heißen. Jetzt fehlen noch ein paar Analystenstimmen, die bekanntlich immer erst nach dem ersten Kick kommen, wenn sich deren Häuser schon eingedeckt haben, die dann die Zukunft von IEM vielleicht doch wieder etwas rosiger sehen.

Ich halte an meinem mittelfristigen Kursziel von 1,60 - 1,80 fest.

Ich denke der Verleiher tut gut daran, nur die für eine Oskarnominierung erforderliche Mindestanzahl an Kinos mit Adaption zu beliefern, denn eine Oskarnominierung bzw. der Gewinn eines Oskars ist die beste und vorallem die billigste Werbung für einen Film. Adaption wird mindestens bis zur Oskarverleihung im Mittelpunkt des Medieninteresses liegen. Schaut man sich die Boxoffice Zahlen an, so liegt Adaption weiterhin auf sehr hohem Boxoffice Niveau, das von keinem anderen Oskaranwärter bisher nicht annähernd getoppt worden ist. Das Interesse der Öffentlichkeit zu diesem Film ist sehr hoch. Die Kritiken sehr gut, ich denke mit diesem Low Budget Film hat IEM ein sehr sehr heisses Eisen im Ofen. Man muss es sich mal Vorstellen. Adaptation hat es mit gerade mal 6 Kinos geschafft in den Einspielergebnissen auf Rang 14 zu landen, schaut mal in wie vielen Kinos die Filme, die weit hinter Adaption, gezigt wurden, und da sind auch einige Filme dabei, die auch erst wenige Wochen liefen. Wirklich Respekt für diese Boxoffice Zahlen. Hier wird IEM mit Sicherheit Erlöse erzielen, die so nicht geplannt waren

"Adaptation" - A Review by `Lostinplace` (Positive, Major Spoilers)

Last night, I attended the first screening of ADAPTATION, the new film from writer Charlie Kaufman (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH & HUMAN NATURE) and director Spike Jonze (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH & many great music videos), at the Arclight Theater in L.A. The visual effects were a little rough and the music was just a temp track. I am going to give you the set-up of the film but not say anything else because I wouldn`t do it justice. I think it is impossible for ANYONE to do it justice. Don`t even let anyone try because they`ll just ruin it for you.

Anyways, here it goes: Charlie Kaufman, played by Nicolas Cage, is a nervous wreck of a screenwriter. His script, BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, is becoming a movie as he is getting asked to adapt "The Orchid Thief", a book by Susan Orlean. He has no fucking clue how to adapt this book because it is about flowers. While the movie shows Charlie`s struggle to adapt this book, it also shows the events leading up to the writing of the book, following Susan Orlean (played by Meryl Streep) a few years earlier. Then there`s also the subplot of Charlie`s twin brother, Donald (also played by Nic Cage), who is a bit of an idiot. Donald decides he wants to be a screenwriter so he follows all the "principles" of writing he learned from Ron McGee`s three-day seminar, which goes against everything Charlie believes about writing. This is cause for comedy (Donald is the funniest character by far).

If you`re confused, it`s okay. I did my best. That is just the set-up, not the whole story. You have no idea what you`re in for. Charlie Kaufman (the writer of the film and the character in the film) is insane, but also a genius. If you didn`t know the backstory on this film, I will tell you. Charlie Kaufman (in real life) was actually asked to adapt the book "The Orchid Thief" while BEING JOHN MALKOVICH was in production. That is real. The book is real. The author, Susan Orlean, is a real person. Charlie had no clue how to adapt this book, so instead he wrote a screenplay about himself trying to adapt it. That`s right, he`s insane. And a genius. You wanna hear the best part? Donald Kaufman is a figment of his imagination. He has no twin brother (split personalities is a big part of the film`s meaning so that`s why it`s genius). In the opening credits, the film is credited to Charlie and his "brother". I immediately started cracking up. A lot of my friends who came along had no idea that Donald was fake. The movie is soooo real. Ron McGee, played by Brian Cox in the film, is a real writer who runs seminars on the rules of screenwriting. This movie is brilliant and I cannot wait to see it finished.

The performances are incredible. Nic Cage is fantastic, Meryl Streep is great, Chris Cooper (playing the subject of the book "Orchid Thief"- also a real person) is absolutely hilarious, and Nic Cage is fantastic too. Ron Livingston (the lead in OFFICE SPACE) plays the tiny role of Charlie`s agent and he is so funny. Did I mention Nic Cage was incredible? Twice? His performance as the two brothers is definitely Oscar-worthy. It isn`t over-the-top Nic Cage, it`s brilliant Nic Cage (remember him from a few years back?). I don`t want to ruin one joke from this film because it is so funny and clever. When they asked me to give two words to describe this movie, I said "insane" and "brilliant". The script is fabulous and the direction, although a little tamer than MALKOVICH if that makes any sense, is great as well.

The problem I had with the film is that the last twenty or so minutes don`t work very well. I understand what they were trying to accomplish but I feel that they failed. That is all I will say, just so I don`t ruin anything... BUT, just remember that this was the very first screening and I heard this film doesn`t come out til December. That is why I have so much faith in Spike to make those twenty minutes tighter and more gratifying. A friend of mine talked to him after the movie and he said he was very nervous about the film (becuz it was the first screening and he`s a naturally nervous guy, i met him). He went on to say that he has so much more to do before it is done. Although I didn`t like the ending, I think that by the end of the year, this film will be edited to perfection. It will be easily one of the best of the year and definitely the most original. I will be there the day it comes out to see the finished product. Get excited because I think it will be BETTER than BEING JOHN MALKOVICH..

Adaptation is director Spike Jonze` and screenwriter Charlie Kaufman`s follow-up to Being John Malkovich. The story follows screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (Nicolas Cage), a hot property following the success of his `Malkovich` script, who has decided to try and adapt Susan Orlean`s (Meryl Streep) novel "The Orchid Thief" into a script as his next project. However, Charlie is riddled with insecurities - about his ability as a screenwriter, his weight and his hair loss. Adding to the list, Charlie`s twin brother Donald (Nicolas Cage) decides to become a screenwriter too, constantly regaling Charlie with his own tired, cliched plot details. Charlie`s desperate desire to create something original as well as to stay true to Orlean`s book pull his brain in two different directions. All these elements build up in Charlie`s head, and as his deadline draws nearer, he starts to consider desperate measures to finish his script.

Spike Jonze has made a film that is cleverer and funnier than `Malkovich`, with characters that are a lot more likeable. The film`s tight, intricate structure and the way that it goes out of its way to break traditional screenwriting conventions make the jabs at `magic formula`-based screenwriting workshops even more fun. The film`s semi-real reality is intriguing - if `Being John Malkovich` wasn`t enough of a surreal experience, watching Nicolas Cage playing Charlie Kaufman hanging out on the set of `Being John Malkovich` in another (supposedly) fictional movie with John Cusack, Catherine Keener etc enhances the trip.

The performances of all the actors are fantastic - Chris Cooper and Meryl Streep especially - and Nicolas Cage, while not being my favourite actor in the world, does a great job of acting against himself, playing both Charlie and Donald. Brian Cox (The Ring) and Ron Livingston (Swingers) also show up for cameos which are short, but extremely sharp.

Meryl Streep rushes into the Los Angeles hotel room where we met amidst peals of laughter. "I don`t want to talk about Adaptation", she says with a melodramatic wave of the hand. She is referring to one of two films that she has coming out, this one, from the quirky team who devised Being John Malkovich. There are no foreign accents here, no intense characters that we know and love from the Oscar winner`s past gallery of tragedians. Here, the 53-year old actress shows us a side to her that we rarely see: Irreverent, hilarious and even stoned. In one priceless moment, Streep`s character, a reporter for the New Yorker Magazine, has experimented with an Orchid-based opiate, and stoned, attempts to brush her teeth. It`s the singularly funniest moment in this weird, cinematic concoction, because she seems to have nailed being stoned, perfectly. She insists that the authenticity has nothing to do with her own real-life experiences. "Definitely not", she laughingly exclaims. "I just looked at other movies and went about imitating other actors, so if THEY got it wrong then so do I. I have no idea how to do that nor do I have any idea what I was actually sniffing. I can`t believe I let them do that but I was so intent on making it look real, I just went ahead and did it."

In Adaptation, scripted by Charles Kaufman and based on a non-fiction book called The Orchid Thief, Nicolas Cage plays real-life Charlie Kaufman, a confused L.A. screenwriter overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy - and by his freeloading twin brother (also played by Cage). While struggling to adapt "The Orchid Thief," by real-life Susan Orlean (Streep), Kaufman`s life spins from pathetic to bizarre. The lives of Kaufman, Orlean and John Laroche (Chris Cooper), the orchid poacher and the subject of Orlean`s book, become strangely intertwined as each one`s search for passion collides with the others`. Streep was not so much attracted to the idea of going places where she has never been, but, she says, "simply by the writing. The attraction was the script itself and I just knew I wanted to be in on this one. I just thought it was the coolest thing." The `coolest thing,` she explains, because "it was a very ambitious script and what it was about was very layered and not the usual movie fare. I thought it was like a novel and as complicated, a deconstruction of real emotions," Streep explains. She won`t go further into analysing the piece, because Kaufman thrives on retaining an open-ended approach, and doesn`t like his work being explained to us mere mortals. "I agree with that," Streep insists. "As soon as some stupid actress starts barking about what the film is about, then YOU write about that and capsulate it, and people immediately say: Oh, it`s about that? What I loved about this was its ambiguous nature, that you could read it in a lot of different ways, that you could interpret it, or not, to mean something to YOU that was actually real or you could stand outside of it and enjoy it and think of it as an entertainment."

Adaptation is clearly a complex film dealing with art and reality, the creative process, obsession, sex and the pain of Hollywood. For Streep, who has appeared in over 60 films, the thematic element of Adaptation with which she closely identified, "was the self-loathing", she adds laughingly. "Every actor I know goes through that pit." Even actors as acclaimed as Streep. "Absolutely, my God!" she exclaims. But amidst such self-discoveries she may have had while filming Adaptation, Streep also loves letting herself go as she does with true abandon in this film. The actress, best known for her serious dramatic work, surprisingly denies not showing that lighter side of herself more often than not. "I`ve always thought I did", Streep retorts. "But I`m always willing to be convinced that I haven`t because on some level I tend to think I don`t know what I`m doing which is probably a good thing," Streep confesses. The actress could also identify with her journalistic character "because she sits outside of other people`s lives and investigates them from the outside", she says, drawing parallels with her approach as an actor. "She is like an orchid, in a way, leading a peripheral sort of life and actors do the same thing, attaching themselves to other people`s stories and become serially obsessed with one thing then move on to the next."

Streep says that having made so many different kinds of films throughout her distinguished career, she "loves to make people laugh" and so hopes to do more comedies such as Adaptation "which endlessly amused me, too much so, which became a problem," giggles the actress.

Streep is back to dramatic form in The Hours, which contains three stories intertwined based on the works of Virginia Woolf. In one of the stories, Streep plays Clarissa Vaughn, a modern woman living in present times, who is throwing a party for her friend Richard, a famous author dying of AIDS. This and a 1940s-set piece is simultaneously linked to the work and life of Virginia Woolf, who is writing Mrs Dalloway. "It`s an impressive film and some great roles for both women and men. The Hours was the working title for Mrs Dalloway and it again explores some profound themes on the nature of the artist. It`s an ambitious film and one that will surprise people." It`s the perfect time for Streep, professionally, with both of these films due out close together. "No question, two really interesting things. I only wish they`d come out a year apart."

In a career spanning nearly forty years, Streep has provided audiences with a plethora of memorable films and performances, from Kramer v Kramer, for which she received her first Oscar, through to the classic likes of The Deerhunter, Sophie`s Choice, The French Lieutenant`s Woman, Silkwood, The River Wild, Bridges of Madison County and many more. The universally acclaimed actress may have played a gallery of unforgettable characters, but she says that she would rather audiences love her movies as a whole, rather than merely her own contribution. "It means a lot to me if someone says: That performance really touched me, but I REALLY love it when people say: That movie was fantastic, because I don`t like it when I emerge bigger than the movie." That holds no interest to her, she muses. "Rather, I`m interested in serving a story and getting it out there; I just like being part of a great team."

When Streep isn`t acting, she has four children to raise, three of whom are at school. The actress tries to avoid being away from her family during the school year, she says. Asked if she would encourage them to act, Streep hesitatingly admits that she would be all right with that. "You just know what the road is. There`s a lot of heartbreak, a lot of rejection, a lot of pain so it`s hard to say: Sure honey, take THAT job, because it`s really tough." Which is why even with her success, Streep is constantly surprised at how successful she has become. "I`m always surprised, delighted and grateful to the people who gave me a hand along the way."

Adaptation opens in limited release on December 6

Auch wenn der Text für Jetti ins Deutsche übersetzt würde, könnte er ihn nicht verstehen. Und weil er ihn so oder so nicht versteht, wird der Kurs von IM ja auch fallen bis zur 0,5 hehe.

Es gibt viele Interessenten, die auch am Sonntag hier reinschauen, immerhin bisher schon 97 Aufrufe heute. Mal sehen, ob sich bei Lang und Schwarz heute noch was tut, dazu ist das Quotetool ganz nützlich, damit man auch Schwankungen mitbekommt.

Für die nächste Woche bin ich positiv gestimmt, aber nicht euphorisch, denn der Kursanstieg am Freitag war etwas schnell, das sieht einfach nicht harmonisch aus, wenn es so weiter geht, also wird es einige Rücksetzer geben, bis die 1,05 deutlich überwunden ist, dann kann es weiter gehen. Ich rechne morgen mit Kursen zwischen 0,88 und 1,05

Übrigens, Infineon hat ein Kaufsignal generiert, Kauffenster 6,96 - 7,11

Ich sehe das ähnlich wie du, doch denke ich nicht, das es am Freitag zu schnell ging, meiner Ansicht nach steht hier demnächst irgendetwas ins Haus, die Umsätze waren schon ziemlich hoch für die letzte Zeit.

Lang und Scharz ist noch ziemlich ruhig,

Doch mir ist das auch im Grunde egal, das nächste Jahr wird der Bringer werden, vorallem das erste halbe Jahr.
Schauen wir uns die Ganze IM Geschichte doch mal in ganz einfachen Zügen an...Da wären noch 70 MIO. Chash, dieser Bestand hat sich die letzten Monate von 60 auf 70 erhöht,dann wurden einige Filmprojekte dieses Jahr fertiggestellt, die aber erst nächstes Jahr zum Tragen kommen.Das Kostensenkungsprogramm wird auch erst nächstes Jahr Früchte tragen...Die Umsatzzahlen wurden dieses Jahr revidiert, auch die Gewinnerwartung und zwar massiv.Jetzt fallen 30 Mio. Verlust an, doch wieviel wären es gewesen, wenn die Projekte dieses Jahr verwertet worden wären?

Doch muss ich IM recht geben mit Ihrer Strategie, was hätten uns im Nov. und Dezember Kinostarts gebracht bei der Konkurenz von 007 und Herr der Ringe sowie Harry Potter2...

denk mal drüber nach....

Im nächstem Jahr sieht es da schon weitaus besser aus und das der Kinostart von Terminator auf des Wochenende vom 4 Juli fällt....ein Schelm wer böses dabei denkt.

Dann gibt es noch die Aussage der IR Abteilung, das man nächstes Jahr in jedem Fall einen Gewinn machen möchte...dies bei konservativer Einstellung....4 Euro bis Ende März werden eintretten, da bin ich mir auch ziemlich sicher.

Wo ich noch etwas am rätseln bin, ist die Aussage über ein rückkaufprogramm und über das Hinzukaufen anderer Filmbestände...

Ansonsten....werde ich auch weiterhin bei Kursen unter 0,90 dazu kaufen...

Rein Charttechnisch ist nächstes Jahr irgendwann die 7,50 wieder erreichbar und ich halte sie auch nicht für übertrieben. Medianaktien waren in den letzten Jahren ohnehin nicht sehr beliebt, aber vielleicht ändert sich das. Um nochmal das Beispiel Infineon zu nennen: Der jetzige Kurs (7,50) ist doch wohl viel angemessener als die 11 Euro vor 2 Wochen. Trotzdem stürzen sich immer alle auf Infineon als gebe es nichts Anderes. Ich hielte einen Kurs von 4,50 Euro auch noch für angemessen, dann würde ich vielleicht für ein längerfristiges Investment kaufen, aber darüber taugt die Aktie nur zum Traden, das aber ziemlich gut.

7,50 mannoman, das ist ja mal ein sehr hoch gestecktes Ziel, jedoch nicht unrealistisch...Charttechnisch.

Ich bin zwar kein großer Trader aber ich sehe sie Chancen die mir der markt z.Z. bietet und lange waren die Chancen nicht mehr so gut.

Es ist wie in allen guten Börsenbüchern immer wieder beschrieben....gute Zeiten ...schlechte Zeiten und ich halte mich an die Regel, in schlechten zu kaufen...so einfach ist das.
