While networks around the world are showing pictures of jubilant Iraqis, albeit in areas that have suffered most under his regime including the very poor Saddam city and the Kurds in the North, the International Red Cross says that the situation in downtown Baghdad is another story.

In a phone interview from the centre of Baghdad, Red Cross representatives said that the situation is very hostile and that the American forces are "shooting at anything that moves", including one of their own convoys. The water supply for Baghdad is becoming an issue of major concern following reports that the Qanat raw water pumping station in the north of the city has also stopped functioning.

1. In what happened we do not see anything that could prevent us from continuing our work at the project. The project was not created as a “mono-opera” with a single soloist; otherwise it would have been a closed resource – it is easier and safer, but rather as an open one with multiple sources. The war is not over and we continue to cover it doing everything in our power, and the more actively people contribute to the project, the greater that power becomes.

2. The true analysis of ups and downs of confronting groupings always begins once their active operations have finished. This means that in some form the project will continue to exist as an analytical resource after this war. Perhaps it will widen and will throw light on other modern military conflicts, for example, starting from the Russian presence in Afghanistan.

3. Apart from analysis of the past, we also have plans to forecast the nearest future in critical places of the world, especially in view of evolution of Russia in the circumstances.
4. About what needs to be done, and how, in order for the development of this project to become reality, a separate message in Russian and English will be published in the next 24 hours.

5. Regarding “Ramzaj”. Currently the group is seeking opportunities to continue its work. Maybe in some time they will be able to restore some of their capabilities and ease the tenses that arouse. The group continues to operate and analyze incoming information, including data related to the war in Iraq. If situation calms down, they will be able to resume their participation in our project and its development in directions stated above.

Klar, absolut neutrale Informationen bekommt man nirgends
Das Ziel aller Massenmedien ist ja nicht die Information, sondern der Transport von Meinungen.

Aber viele der russischen Berichte haben sich im nachhinein als wahr herausgestellt, auch wenn z.B. die Amis vorher was anderes behauptet hatten, was sie dann ein paar Stunden später wieder dementiert hatten.

Die Beendigung bezog sich nur auf die Berichte von `Ramzaj`, nicht auf die anderen Berichte.
Allerdings waren die Ramzaj-Berichte mit Abstand das Interessanteste
