MSO has developed a range of SLT vessels that can install and remove offshore platform Topsides and Jackets in one piece. These vessels are suitable for small and large platforms within the range 3 000t to 35 000t
The prospects for MSO have improved significantly with the winning of a FEED contract from ConocoPhillip Norway to study the removal of two North Sea offshore platforms as a decommissioning contract for the new single lift technology excluding crane ships. The formal bidding

The Joint Industry Project (JIP) topsides decommissioning study was successfully completed and we believe we have shown the oil companies (Phillips, Shell, BP, TotalFinaElf, Kerr McGee) that the MSO lifting solutions for topsides is sound and technically viable.
The Joint Industry Project (JIP) jacket decommissioning study was successfully completed and we believe we have shown the oil companies (Shell, BP, TotalFinaElf, and Kerr McGee) that the MSO lifting solutions for jackets is sound and technically viable.
MSO has also completed an installation study for a major U.S. oil company in which the potential time and cost savings were demonstrated using the single lift technology in comparison to traditional crane installation.
As a result of this installation study, two of the world`s leading offshore construction contractors are proposed the SLT as an alternative installation method to the one offered by the crane barges.
MSO has established strong potential industrial and financial partners in order to win the CococoPhillips contract.

MSO hat eine neue Besitz-Struktur und den Fokus der Gesellschaft, ist jetzt, der Leiter in Einzelzimmer-Aufmunterung-Technologie zu sein (SLT)
MSO hat eine Auswahl von SLT Gefäßen, die installieren können und Küsten Plattform Topsides und Jacken in einem Stück entfernen können, entwickelt. Diese Gefäße sind für kleine und große Plattformen innerhalb der Auswahl 3 000t geeignet zu 35 000t
Die Aussichten für MSO haben bedeutend mit dem Gewinnen von einem FUTTER-Vertrag von ConocoPhillip Norwegen, um die Entfernung von zwei Nordsee Küsten Plattformen als ein decommissioning-Vertrag für die neue einzelne Aufmunterung-Technologie ohne Kran-Schiffe zu studieren verbessert. Der formelle Geheiß-Prozeß für den Vertrag wird in April 2003 mit Vertrag-Auszeichnung durch das Ende des Jahres beginnen.

MSO hat auch ein Installation-Studium für eine bedeutende AMERIKANISCHE Öl-Gesellschaft vervollständigt in dem die potentielle Zeit und gekostete Spareinlagen, die die einzelne Aufmunterung-Technologie im Vergleich zu traditioneller Kran-Installation benutzten, wurden demonstriert.
Als ein Ergebnis dieses Installation-Studiums führen zwei der Welt, Küsten Konstruktion-Unternehmern wird der SLT als eine alternative Installation-Methode zum man vorgeschlagen, das von den Kran-Lastkähnen angeboten wird.
MSO hat starkes Potential industrielle und finanzielle Partner geschafft, um den CococoPhillips Vertrag zu gewinnen.
