Ist schon komisch wie das Goldboard im Fall Crystallex momentan schläft. Ich verweise hiermit auf die aktuelle Diskussion im Yahoo Board, den Thom Calandra Report und den Auftritt von Thom Calandra im US-Fernsehen heute. Immerhin handelt es sich um eine wahrscheinliche Übernahme von Crystallex und das der Kurs von KRY morgen wahrscheinlich durch die Decke gehen wird. Die Reserven von Las Christinas werden immerhin auf 10.000.000 Unzen Gold eingeschätzt.

Ich hätte bei so einer Übernahmespekulation mindestens eine regere Diskussion wie im Yahoo Board und vielleicht einen zum Anlaß neu aufgemachten Thread erwartet. Wie gesagt von Calandra ein world-class gold asset steht wahrscheinlich zur Übernahme an. Schon komisch das hier keine Diskussion statt findet?

Ich empfehle hiermit den Teilnehmer des Goldboardes die Diskussion im Yahoo Board aufmerksam zu lesen bis zum Ende vom Donnerstag. Es wurde sogar in Verbindung KRY über den Fall BRE-X ($250) diskutiert.

Auf einem Gold-Seminar im März in Zürich wurde auch diese Aktie besprochen, diese Aktie besitzt in der Tat ein sehr
hohes Kurspotential aber zunächst ist folgendes:
Im vergangenen Jahr machte die Firma einen Verlust von $ 39,8 Millionen oder $ 0.47 je Aktie,wovon der größte Teil auf Derivate und Abschreibungen entfiel.Die Goldproduktion in Uruguay und Venezuela ( 94 000 Unzen) war unrentabel.
Interessant an Crystallex ist ausschließlich das Goldvorkommen Las Cristinas mit etwa 9,5 Millionen Unzen Goldreserven. Solange dort nichts vorangeht,wird dich der schwache Aktienkurs nicht nachhaltig erholen können. Im Laufe des Sommers soll die Machbarkeitsstudie herauskommen.Anschließend werden sich Banken mit der Finanzierung befassen - und dann könnte einer der großen Goldkonzerne Interesse an einer Übernahme oder Beteiligung
bekunden.Las Cristinas ist eines der wenigen ganz großen noch unentwickelten Goldvorkommen.Crystallex wird es aber wohl nicht aus eigener Kraft schaffen- so die Meinung auf dem Seminar - Aktien: 84,4 Millionen. Ein Wert mit überdurchschnittlichem Risiko und entsprechenden Chancen.
Alos merke : Gier und Angst in diesem Geschäft ist schädlich ,jeder muß sein Risiko selber beurteilen.

Stück, in Zürich wurde mal ein Preis von 10-14$ genannt, hälst Du solchen Preis für fair, es ist doch einiges drin.

Ich habe folgendes im Yahoo Board gefunden:

20,000,000 oz (consisting P/P & inferred) X $100- $125 (let`s settle on $112) of value per oz = $2,240,000,000 / 100,000,000 shares = $22 dollars a share give or take at curretn gold bullion of $350. obviously at $400 per oz in gold which we`ll see before this summer is over KRY`s value only increases.

Fair value =$3.5

Ave. price/book value in this sector is around 2.5. It follows then that at book=1.35(2.5)=3.37 would be a fair value, call it $3.5.

I`ll have more in The Calandra Report later this week on several fronts, including a natural gas story almost too good to believe. I`ll also have more on Crystallex International (KRY: news, chart, profile), which told the Toronto Stock Exchange on Monday it knew of no corporate reason for a nearly 100 percent gain in the company`s shares over a week. The gains came in trading activity that was three to five times average daily volumes for the company`s American Stock Exchange and Toronto-listed shares.

Last week`s edition of subscription service The Calandra Report examined Crystallex`s efforts to develop Venezuela`s Las Cristinas, one of the world`s largest proven, and untapped, gold reserves. On Monday, Gold Mining Stock Report`s Robert Bishop, quoted at length last week in newsletter The Calandra Report, reiterated his belief the Toronto-based company will receive a takeover offer, or some other backing from a big company, and soon.

"Venezuela`s National Assembly has now said on four occasions that Crystallex has legally been designated to be the operator of Las Cristinas (foreign companies never own projects in Venezuela, they obtain rights to operate projects)," Bishop said Monday morning.

"Las Cristinas is simply too large a gold deposit selling at too low a price to escape the attention of larger companies," Bishop, one of the longest-running and most highly regarded gold-mining strategists in North America, told his subscribers.

"My observation about some party moving on Crystallex by the time of the company`s annual meeting (in another week) is more an observation that management needs to be in a position to offer the prospect of a future that`s markedly different from the past, or risk the open revolt of its shareholders."

Bishop, speaking to me from his California office, said Crystallex chief executive Marc Oppenheimer was seen attending the shareholder annual meeting of Glamis Gold (GLG: news, chart, profile) in recent weeks. His attendance at the larger gold company`s May 7 Toronto meeting may be sparking speculation in the shares, says Bishop, who believes at least one mining company is conducting due diligence on Crystallex.

I placed a call Monday to Oppenheimer, with whom I spoke last week in San Francisco. I also placed a call to a company spokesman, A. Richard Marshall. He told me Monday he would contact Oppenheimer but that at this time, Crystallex would have no comment on the Glamis sighting. Nevada-based Glamis produces gold from mines in Nevada, Mexico and Central America. The company produced 251,000 ounces last year and says in its corporate presentations that it hopes to double that amount.

Those who read The Calandra Report know exactly where I stand on the Crystallex story. As Bishop said, the stock market is valuing a roughly 21-million-ounce Las Cristinas resource, some 9.5 million ounces of that considered a proven reserve, at roughly $5 to $6 an ounce. Crystallex International shares Monday afternoon were selling for $1.76 on the American Stock Exchange and $2.34 Canadian (CA:KRY: news, chart, profile) on the Toronto Exchange.

the current price increase reflects the markets RE-EVALUATION of this company based upon the gold reserves it now legally controls. even without a buyout or 50/50 the share price will likely rise in the weeks ahead to reflect more like $50 /oz of gold reserves rather that the current $5-8.


IE:

21,000,000 oz of reserves X $50/oz of value / 92,000,000 + - million shares = us$11.40 a share
