Colombia Movil Selects Portal Software for End-to-End Billing; Portal Extends Leadership in Latin America

(Nasdaq:PRSF), a leading provider of billing and subscriber management solutions, today announced that Colombia Movil SA, an emerging wireless service provider in Latin America, has chosen Portal`s Infranet(R) to quickly and successfully launch the company`s new GSM/GPRS business. Portal`s product-based billing solution offered Colombia Movil faster time to market with less risk and the lowest total cost of ownership of the options considered.

Easy integration into other OSS/BSS and enterprise applications was an important criterion for the selection of Colombia Movil`s billing system. Portal`s proven, pre-integrated CRM and billing solution, TelcoOne(TM), made Portal the most complete solution set for Colombia Movil. Mobile operators in Colombia ended the first quarter of this year with a total of 4.88 million subscribers, which increased their subscriber base from last year by 38%, according to figures published by the Colombian Communications Ministry.
