Tribal Voice and AtMobile.com Offer First-Ever PC-to-Mobile Phone
      <CMGI.O>

Tribal Voice and AtMobile.com Offer First-Ever PC-to-Mobile Phone Wireless
      Instant Messaging Service
Companies Bring Together Instant Messaging and Cellular Online Presence
Detection Technology to Offer Wireless Carriers First True
      Desktop-to-Device Messaging Solution
      BELLEVUE, Wash. and DENVER, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribal Voice(TM), a
leading provider of co-branded instant messaging and interactive
communications, and a majority-owned operating company of CMGI, Inc.
(Nasdaq: CMGI), and @mobile.com, a leading application service provider for
wireless carriers and Internet content providers, today announced an agreement
to provide the first-ever desktop-to-mobile phone wireless instant messaging
service complete with online presence detection. The new instant messaging and
online presence detection service, which couples @mobile Messenger and Tribal
Voice`s PowWow Mobile(TM), can be licensed by wireless carriers and co-branded
with the carrier`s specific logos and other branding information.
The wireless instant messaging service from Tribal Voice and @mobile.com
is the first that detects the online presence of mobile phone users on a
cellular network and lets users know whether their friends, family and
colleagues are online through their cell phone or PC. Online presence is the
critical availability information that distinguishes instant messaging from
e-mail. In addition, this combined technology offers the only service
containing a desktop component that can be co-branded for wireless carriers,
thus extending their brand to subscribers` personal computers.
"This service is a win-win for consumers and wireless carriers," said
Ross Bagully, CEO of Tribal Voice, Inc. "Consumers save time and money by
having a complete instant messaging solution at their fingertips while
wireless carriers can add significant value to their service and extend their
brand to millions of desktop PCs worldwide."
"By teaming with Tribal Voice to offer wireless carriers a co-branded
desktop instant messaging solution that is fully integrated with @mobile.com`s
wireless presence recognition technology, the two companies now offer the
most-complete instant messaging service available," said Michael Buhrmann,
      president and CEO of @mobile.com.
Buhrmann and Bagully agree that one of the greatest benefits of wireless
instant messaging centers is the ability to reach a number of users quickly.
For example, a mobile enterprise user could have a time-sensitive question and
not be sure who among his colleagues can answer it. Using @mobile Messenger
and PowWow Mobile, the user could quickly consult his buddy list whether on
his PC or handset, query all the coworkers he knew to be online, and instantly
receive the answer. In such a communication scenario, and in many others like
it, the key advantage for users will be knowing exactly who they can reach
      before initiating outreach.
      How The Service Works
The service includes a desktop software component developed by Tribal
Voice, called PowWow Mobile(TM), along with a wireless phone component for
online presence detection and messaging called @mobile Messenger, developed by
      @mobile.com.
Once a wireless subscriber installs the PowWow Mobile software on their
Windows (95, 98, or 2000) PC, buddies can be added to the PowWow Mobile buddy
list. When the user`s PC or mobile phone-based buddies come online, the user
will receive a visual and audio alert that the buddy is online or has changed
online status. With that information, the user can decide the most efficient
way to contact their buddy -- sending an instant text message or making an
      actual phone call.
The service works similarly on any WAP-enabled or current-generation
digital phone. Mobile phone users will receive a visual and audio alert when
their PC or phone buddies come online or change online status. Phone users can
then send instant messages to their desktop PC or phone buddies who are
      online.
      About @mobile Messenger Service
Based on @mobile.com`s patented technology that recognizes the network
presence of mobile phone users, @mobile Messenger service extends the reach of
desktop PC-based instant messaging service providers to wireless phone users,
enabling them to exchange instant messages with desktop-based users as well as
with other wireless phone users. As with instant messaging services based
exclusively on the desktop, @mobile Messenger always allows users to know
their buddies` online status -- whether they are using their cellular phone,
their PC, or both -- and automatically updates their online status whenever
there is a change. @mobile Messenger is compatible with all existing wireless
networks, can be seamlessly integrated to work with PC-based instant messaging
services such as PowWow Mobile, and is designed to be accessible to wireless
subscribers through any WAP-enabled or digital cellular phone.
About Tribal Voice`s PowWow Mobile Technology
PowWow Mobile(TM) is a specialized version of Tribal Voice`s PC Magazine
Editors` Choice award-winning PowWow(R) instant messaging and interactive
communications solution. PowWow Mobile includes the ability to detect online
presence of @mobile Messenger users, AOL`s AIM Instant Messaging users and
Microsoft`s MSN Messenger users, in addition to the 8 million PowWow-based
users. PowWow Mobile includes a full-range of Internet communications,
including instant text messaging, instant voice messaging, Internet telephony,
group chat capabilities, multi-user gaming, multi-user white boarding,
multi-user Web touring, and much more.
Unveiled at Wireless 2000 in New Orleans, Feb. 28 - March 1
This first-ever technology will be demonstrated in the @mobile.com booth
(2167) at the Wireless 2000 trade show to be held in New Orleans from
      Feb. 28 - March 1, 2000.
