Angang New Steel Company Ltd. ("the Company") is a large steel product manufacturing enterprise in the PRC. Major products of the Company include billets, cold rolled sheets, wire rods, thick plates, heavy rails, pipe billets and large steel products, all of which are competitive in the domestic market. These products are widely used in automobile, construction, ship-building, railway construction industries and in the manufacture of home electrical appliances and pipelines. During the FYE 12/2002, the Company has implemented a centralized and unified management system throughout all of its operations to expand its production scale. For the Company`s 50%-owned associate - ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co., Ltd., it is still in a preparation stage and has not formally commenced production and operation. Looking forward, the Company will continue to face fierce competition from the growing investment by privately owned enterprises and increasing import of overseas iron and steel products into the PRC. However, the Company will continuously carry out technological innovation and upgrade its production line to an international recognized level in order to maintain its products` competitiveness in terms of both price and quality.

Hattest Du ne spezielle motivation dazu?
Mich interessierten damals die interessante Mischung aus zwei fundamentalen Trends (China-Wachstum & commodities) und die kombination aus rel. niedrigem kgv und rel anstaendiger div.
Aehnlich sehe ich z.b. auch jiangxi copper (wkn 907061)
oder YANZHOU COAL MINING (wkn 913124).
Zurueck zu angang,- die analysten bei morgan stanley sahen allerdings irgendwann im letzten Monat (weiss nicht mehr in welchem beitrag, muss man evtl. ueber das link unten suchen) das potential fuer die chin. stahlwirtschaft anfang 2004 auf dem gipfel, ich bleibe optimistischer

Stimme mit dir überein. Noch haben wir keine Spekulationsblase in Asien. Jiangxi Copper ist absolut empfehlenswert. Der Hunger an Rohstoffen ist gewaltig und noch nicht am Höhepunkt angelangt.

Die Rohstoffwerte fallen doch schon seit Mitte April. Die chin. Wirtschaft wird staatl. abgekühlt.

bei Angang war am 13.05.04 Dividenden-Ex-Tag.
Wer von Euch hat die Dividende "schon" bekommen? Ist ja immerhin schon fast 2 Monate her, bei mir ist bis heute noch nix auf dem Konto...
