Aladdin Expects Loss for Third Quarter 2000
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2000--Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN - news), a global leader in the field of Internet content and software security, today announced that it will report lower than expected results in the third quarter of 2000, ended Sept. 30.

Expected to be published in the first week of November, Aladdin`s results will likely be effected by decreased sales of its traditional HASP/Hardlock products in North America, delays in the launch of the company`s new products and the unfavorable conversion of the Euro based revenues to US dollars. Aladdin`s Chief Financial Officer, Erez Rosen estimates the net loss for the third quarter could reach $1.5 million.
