Advanced Communications Acquires Ownership Interest in Investment Management Firm

NEW YORK, Jan. 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB:ADVC.OB - News) (``ACT`` or the ``Company``) announced today that on January 14, 2004, Hudson Street Investments, LLC (``Hudson Street Investments``), a newly formed special purpose business entity owned by the Company, acquired a minority interest in Yorkville Advisors Management, LLC (``Yorkville Advisors``), the portfolio manager of Cornell Capital Partners, LP.
ADVERTISEMENT


The formation of Hudson Street Investments is consistent with management`s restructuring plan to reconfigure ACT into a business enterprise that consists of multiple minority investments in established private and public operating companies, as well as the acquisition of a core operating business. The Company`s overall restructure has been designed to diversify its business interests to create various opportunities to generate net income and value for ACT shareholders.

``Our ownership interest will entitle us to receive a pro rata share of Yorkville Advisors` net profits from asset management, investment banking and financial advisory fees,`` said Wayne I. Danson, ACT`s President and CFO.

Danson continued, ``This strategic business move (the acquired interest in Yorkville Advisors), when coupled with our restructured debt and creditor settlements, has stabilized the Company`s financial picture, and is anticipated by management to create positive cash flow with enough annual profits to put the Company in a long-term, financially sound position.``

When asked about the projected income for 2004 to the Company from this investment Danson replied, ``We anticipate that Hudson Street Investment`s cash flow from its share of the net profits will be more than enough to cover our consolidated annual operating expenses.``

The Company projects that it will report net income of approximately $300,000 for fiscal 2004, as compared with a net loss of $1,869,031 for fiscal 2003.

Danson closed with, ``For the first time in ACT`s history, we will have sufficient liquidity to operate and grow. Our stronger financial position will also enable us to acquire and/or invest in a core operating business with a proven and successful product, part of our reorganization strategy.``

Management is currently in discussion with a business enterprise that it believes is a qualified candidate for future investment or acquisition.

In addition, ACT has formed SpectruCell, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACT, to hold the Company`s North and South America marketing and distribution rights to SpectruCell, a software-defined radio (SDR) multiple protocol wireless system, which were acquired in 1999.

Hallo Leute, BIOM=GENAERA
Sorry das ich mich nicht mehr gemeldet habe. Aus Frust hab ich mich abgemeldet. Und bei GBMI ins Klo gegriffen. So das ich zu 100% aus der OTC mich zurückgezogen habe. Ich darf gar nicht schaun, was heute wieder ADVC gemacht hat BIOM= Genaera (leider bekomme ich ihn nicht zurück .....Durch die Tage, Wochenlangen Zocks bin ich eine meiner beiden Freundinnen los, ich hatte sie so gern , dann die scheiss Verluste obwohl ich mehrere 100% dieses Jahr gemacht hatte. Ich dachte es geht weiter bergab und bin raus in Biomira seit 15.00 Uhr heute. Und um 18:00 Uhr gings los hab wieder 15% in 1 Stunde verdient, und seh ein das die Flucht ein Fehler war. Nun bleib ich erstmal in der Nasdaq, ich denk sonst bekomme ich noch einen Herzinfarkt mit 29 JAhren. Überigens BIOM
legt Euch ins Depot, da kommen in den nächsten 2 Monaten

Am 22,1,04 brachte die ADVC news!
Was für mich als Großaktionär wichtig ist war der Ausblick
auf das kommende Geschäftsjahr 2004.
(Die Firma projiziert, daß sie über Reineinkommen von ungefähr $300.000 für steuerliches 2004 berichtet, verglichen mit einem Reinverlust von $1.869.031 für steuerliches 2003.)(habe ich von ALTAVISTA übersetzen lassen)
Allein Aufgrund dieser Tatsache wird die Aktie ein
Senkrechtstarter werden.
Um so mehr verwundert es mich, das BIOM die Aktie zum Verkauf empfiehlt.
Andere schreiben, dass Investierte noch weinen werden.
Kaum ist die Aktie gefallen wird eingestiegen und schon wird wieder fleissig gepuscht.
Fakt ist, die ADVC ist dieses Jahr noch für einige tausend Prozent gut.
Lese die News und treffe selber deine Entscheidung.
Jeder Aktionär kocht sein eigenes Süppchen.(siehe empfehlung BIOM)
Kursziel für mich bis zum 31,12,04/ 0.60=18000%
Wir sprechen uns wieder.
Wenn jemand meint, ich will hier nur Puschen,bei den Ammis
geht diese Aktie 500000 mal am Tag über den Ticker.
Da kommt es auf ein paar WO Leser nicht `drauf an.

PS. Schaut euch mal an was die Genaera Aktie gemacht hat, die ist mit noch nicht einmal annähernd so guten Meldungen innerhalb von einem Jahr von 0,003 auf 6 euro geschossen.

Perhaps news is coming Monday? It`s certainly trading that way. Nice to see some upward momentum return to this stock. :-) I had a feeling 0.003 would be the base on the recent pullback. I think 0.005 is certainly possible by the time the 10-SQB comes out in 2 weeks.
