Fazit. Santa Cruz STRONG BUY !!

Nach wie vor ist SCO ein "Strong Buy" Kanditat die Aktie ist nur
runtergeprügelt worden weil Bill Gates seinen Anteil Verkauft hat.
Und der Anteil war Beträchtlich wenn das nicht passiert wäre würde
sie schon bei 40-45 stehen. Ist ja auch kein Wunder wen man sich den Chart
anschaut denkt man was ist denn da passiert! Und wartet lieber ein bischen

Ich habe mir bereits vor einigen Monaten SCOC ins Depot gelegt. Unter 40 US$ werde ich die Aktien nicht verkaufen. In 6-12 Monaten sollte es eigentlich so weit sein!

ja, das frage ich mich auch seit wochen. fast alles steigt und SCOC dümpelt um die 18$. die firma macht gewinne, wächst, hat superprodukte, die auf allen plattformen laufen (UNIX, LINUS, WINDOWS).
der anstieg muß kommen und ich denke auch, dass wir im März 50$ erreichen werden.

ich habe meine SCOC vor ein paar Wochen mit ca. 5% Verlust verkauft, weil mich eine Sache doch sehr stört.
Im nachfolgendem Link sind nochmals sämtliche Zahlen der letzten Jahre zu sehen; ganz unten.
Festzuhalten bleibt, daß SCOC bereits 1996 > 200 Mio. Umsatz gemacht hat, und jetzt sind es auch gerade gute 220 Mio..
Das ist mieß!
Sie verdienen jetzt ganz ordentlich, aber haben kaum Umsatzwachstum.

Ich habe zugegebener Maßen keine Ahnung von dem technischen know how, denke aber, daß das zweitrangig ist.
Bevor nicht mindestens ein 30-50%iges Wachstumspotential im vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal da ist, werde ich SCOC nicht mehr anrühren.

Santa Cruz hat momentan das gleich Problem, wie alle Gegner von
M$... Die Aktien werden massiv gemieden. Seht euch Corel oder
Red Hat an... Keiner will sie trotz dauerhaft guter News.
Es muss einfach Abwarten heißen und auf bessere Zeiten warten.
Ich jedenfalls geben momentan keine Aktien aus diesem Bereich,
da ich felsenfest von der Zukunft von Linux überzeugt bin...

bin von der Aktie sehr überzeugt. Denn momentanen Kursverlauf kann
ich mir nicht so recht erklären.
Man kann eine Sache so oder so interpretieren, aber ich sehe es

19$ könnte sie schaffen und wenn nicht dann halt nich aber tiefer geht sie auch nich daher kurzfristig kaufen

SCO ist nicht die eizigste Aktie, die so rumdümpelt.
ich habe noch GraphOn im Depot, die haben ein ähnliches Produkt wie
SCO mit seinem Tarantella, jedoch für kleinere Systeme, also kleinere
Firmen, läuft aber auch sehr gut.
Zumindest dümpeln die auch ziemlich rum und keiner will sie kaufen (in
Dtl.) und in Amiland bleiben sie auch auf den gleichen Niveau.
In dem Sektor scheinen im Moment nur eine Firma richtig hoch zu gehen:
Citrix Systems, 400% in 8 Monaten, bin leider nach 200% ausgestiegen.
Aber ich denke bei SCo und GraphOn muss man einfach noch ein bisschen abwarten und dann geht`s los.

macht Ernst mit dem Vertrieb seiner Web-enabling Software Tarantella 2.0. Das kalifornische Softwarehaus lockt Kunden des Konkurrenten Citrix mit einem bis Juli 2000 gültigen Trade-in-Angebot, auf Tarantella umzusteigen. Wer eine Lizenz des SCO-Produkts für einen User im Rahmen dieses Programms erwirbt, darf kostenlos bis zu neun Citrix-Metaframe-Lizenzen gegen weitere Tarantella-Lizenzen eintauschen.
Seit gestern können Interessenten außerdem eine für 60 Tage benutzbare Probeversion für die Varianten Tarantella 2.0 Express oder Enterprise aus dem Internet herunterladen. Diese ab jetzt erhältlichen Releases laufen nur auf SCOs Open Server 4.5; weitere Portierungen für diverse Unix-und Linux-Plattformen hat der Hersteller im Februar angekündigt, bislang aber noch nicht als final Release herausgebracht. Ihr seit mir ja tolle Investoren,

4 o. 5 Postings, und keiner hat eine Meinung zu den Einnahmen von SCOC in den letzten 4 Jahren.
Wenn Tarantella so toll ist, was ich gerne glaube, dann sollten die Umsätze aber mindestens um 50% zum VORQUARTAL zulegen.

Es wäre schön, eine andere Meinung zu höhren.

Würden bei SCO auch die Zahlen stimmen, würde sie keine 17$
sondern 50$ kosten. Die Produkte aber sind gut, und das stimmt
mich positiv für SCOs Zukunft. Ich sage nur Monterey und
Tarantella. Und Tarantella soll noch in diesem Jahr für Windows
kommen, womit SCO noch näher an Citrix rücken würde.
Du mußt aber schon ein wenig Geduld mitbringen.

also von einem von GraphOn in Corel halte ich nicht viel, Corel hatte in letzter Zeit mal maechtige Probleme in unternehmerischer Hinsicht (soweit ich mich erinnern kann) und bei Graphon ist mir sowas noch nicht zu Ohren gekommen.
Ausserdem seit Freitag hat Graphon ca. 25% gemacht und damit bin ich dort endlich im Plus, jetzt fehlt nur noch SCOC, dann habe ich keine neg. Kurs mehr im Depot.

Hallo,

leider hatte ich ja recht mit meiner pessimistischen Einstellung, des Umsatzes wegen.

Allerdings habe ich jetzt auch zu 10,7$ in den USA zugegriffen.

Persönlich würde ich aber auf keinen Fall groß einsteigen, dafür sind mir die Zahlen einfach zu schlecht.
