MIAMI, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Communication Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UCSY - News) company chairman Michael J. Zwebner announced today that the company has recently signed a new agreement and contracted its first commercial order for a number of Air Water machines for direct shipment to China.
Shanghai Gaochen Energy Technology and Development Co Limited (SGETD), has placed the order for several additional Air Water machines of various sizes to be shipped to China for onward delivery to several major Chinese government entities and offices.

Specifically, the machines will be delivered to units of the police, the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, hospitals, and 3 government ministries. It is intended for these machines to be evaluated and subjected to tests. Following successful deployment and satisfactory results and reports, large orders for additional machines will follow.

Under the terms of the new agreement, SGETD will import and market a range of Air Water Machines and Systems to the Chinese government and local commercial markets. In a further development, Air Water Corp has commenced setting up corporate infrastructure in China, and will employ a number of bilingual Chinese engineers that will be trained overseas in all aspects of the Air Water technology and systems to enable them to offer full customer service to the local market.

AirWater Corp Launches US Sales of New Model AW 310


MIAMI FL--(MARKET WIRE)--May 21, 2004 -- Universal Communication Systems Inc., (OTC BB:UCSY.OB - News) subsidiary Air Water Corp, company president Michael J. Zwebner announced today that the company has executed a Patent Sub License Agreement with a Chinese manufacturer of "SOHO" styled Air Water machines.

The Patent Sub-License Agreement calls for a one time payment of $50,000 and ongoing royalties of 1% on all made and sold products for a period of 10 years. The agreement covers all sales worldwide, with the exception of China internally. The Chinese manufacturer is claiming that it will achieve sales of about $10 million in the year 2004.

In a statement made today, company president Michael J. Zwebner stated: "This Patent Sub-License Agreement is yet another positive step forward in our global operations. We continue to build every aspect of our business, and have now for the first time made use of our Patents with a Chinese manufacturer of Air Water machines."

AW 310 - SOHO STYLED AIR WATER MACHINE NOW ON SALE IN THE USA

In a further development, AirWater Corp announces today that the company is now offering on sale the new SOHO styled (small home and office machine) for the US market. The machine is currently displayed on the company`s web site. The recommended retail price is $995 per machine.

The AW 310 will produce about 25-30 liters of filtered, pure, clean drinkable water in a 24 hour period, in mean average 25-35 degrees Celsius, and relative humidity levels of between 60-80%.
