Capital Hill Gold to Commence Drilling and Trenching in Arizona

STUART, Fla., May 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Capital Hill Gold (OTC BB:CAGI.OB - News) will commence drilling and trenching on its Mexican Hat Property, near Pierce, Arizona on May 10th, 2004. The current program is being managed by Norm Pearson and supervised by Charles K. Ikona, P.Eng, a senior managing partner of Pamicon Developments Ltd., Canadian Mining Consultants.
The known mineralization occurs as free gold on fractures along with hematite and limonite in a series of tertiary rhyolite and brecciated volcanics. Previous work by Placer Dome traced the Victoria zone north-westerly for 2,400 feet, 8 trenches along 1,400 feet of strike exposed some very good grades, 23 of which were over 10 grams, including several over 100 grams. Samples were cut at continuous 5 foot intervals along the trenches. The 16 zone, which lies about 800 feet to the north is not as well exposed, however, drill holes have cut good values. For example, RC.MH57 intersected 165 feet of 4.4 grams, including the top 25 feet of 20 grams of gold. RC.MH16 intersected from 155 to 200 feet a 45 foot section running 1.55 grams, from 200 to 235 feet a 35 foot section running 49 grams, and from 235 to 335 feet a 100 foot section running 1.77 grams. There is an excellent potential to expand gold reserves along strike and at depth in the known structures (Victoria and 16 zones) as well as additional unexplored areas of known showings.
Initially, the 2004 exploration drilling program (contracted to Boart Longyear) will test the Victoria zone extension and the 16 zone trenching will test Placer Dome`s previous results.

Capital Hill Gold Inc. Exploration Update
Tuesday June 8, 9:30 am ET
STUART, Fla., June 8, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Capital Hill Gold, Inc. (OTC BB:CAGI.OB - News) (the ``Company``) updates shareholders on the first phase exploration program on its Mexican Hat gold properties located in Cochise County, Arizona.
A total of 4 diamond drill holes on the Victoria fault and 10 trenches to bedrock to test the Linda and 16 zones have been completed. Core and trench samples are being submitted to Mountain States R&D International Inc., 13801 E. Benson Highway, Vail, Arizona, for assaying. Mountain States is a state certified company, involved in analytical, metallurgical and environmental services, that has also assisted senior mining companies such as the Phelps Dodge Corporation.
The objective of the Company`s drilling program is to enhance the value of the Mexican Hat deposits, by exploring for increased tonnage of ore grade within the existing major gold bearing zones and potentially higher grade intercepts. The Company can only speculate what underlies the Mexican Hat, as there could be a much larger mineral system at depth. A deep diamond drilling program may prove the possibility of a Carlin-type, carbonate hosted, disseminated gold deposit in the Paleozoic Permian carbonate section that is present in the area.
Trenching of the 16 and Linda gold mineralized zones was completed to prove the possibility of bulk tonnage surface mineable deposits utilizing a gravity separation plant.
Management is actively pursuing private placement financing to facilitate the Company`s on-going exploration program.
