Es geht um die aktie hansen n. corp. (HANS)
die firma stellt nichtalkoholische Getränke her, auf dem ersten blick zwar nicht so spektakulär, wenn man sich aber die entwicklung der earnings und des umsatzs anschaut um so mehr.
das first-quarter result ist 217% im Vergleich zum Vorjahr! Umsätze wurden gesteigert in den letzten 3 quartalen von 8% zu 23% zu 32% zu 42%.!
der grund für die plötzliche Umsatzexplosion dürfte der neue MONSTER-drink sein, der in der usa als energy-drink wie bei uns red bull vermarktet wird.
wenn man den chart anschaut wird es aber noch besser.
- aktie ist auf all-time high (und das in den letzten woche!)
- umsatz explotiert, als wenn es morgen keine hansen mehr gibt
gestern beim ausbruch der vierthöchste tagesumsatz aller zeiten!
- einer der größten nasdaq-gewinner der letzten woche!!
und das alles bei einer aktie, die einem Sektor angehört, der als defensiv betrachtet werden kann, also dürfte von einem fallenden gesamtmarkt bei HANS nicht viel zu befürchten sein.

What do you do when you want an extra jolt of sales for your line of energy drinks?
Officials at Hansen Natural Corp. think they`ve found the answer.
Hansen markets and distributes natural sodas, juices, sports drinks and other beverages.
Part of the company`s focus the past couple of years has been on energy drinks, with splashy marketing and new products geared to various age groups and consumer tastes. Last year it debuted a low-carb version of its Monster brand energy drink.
Now Hansen looks to round out its lineup further. In March, it inked a licensing pact with surf gear marketer Lost International to develop, produce and distribute a carbonated energy drink, Lost Energy, aimed at the 15- to 25-year-old crowd.
The new drink, which comes in a 16-ounce can, is being rolled out nationally after a successful test in Southern California early this year.
The brand appeals to a much younger group of consumers than Hansen`s other products, says Chief Executive Rodney Sacks.
"(Lost Energy) is a small niche brand that has tremendous credibility with surfers and skaters," he said. "Our view was that by introducing the Lost brand in (a) 16-ounce package and taste that would appeal to (the younger) demographic, it wouldn`t cannibalize our Monster product (in an 8-ounce can)."
THE FINANCIALS
Hansen earned 19 cents a share in the first quarter, up from 6 cents the prior year. Sales gained 42% to $31.3 million.
"The major advance in the first quarter has been from the exceptional performance from our Monster Energy drink in both the general and low-carb versions," said Hilton Schlosberg, Hansen`s vice chairman.
He says the company has also done well with existing products. Hansen`s brand of diet soda has been among the other main drivers.
Though no Wall Street analysts follow the company, investors have taken notice. Its stock price has more than doubled since the end of January.
"Investors are looking for good small names in the natural foods category," said analyst Scott Van Winkle of Adams Harkness & Hill. "Energy drinks are a very good (category), and they have one of the best brands in the market."

und wenn wir von der baise von 2000 bis 2002 irgend etwas gelernt haben dann wohl daß man fallende aktien nicht kaufen soll. wenn die aktie so eine super qualität hat, dann wäre sie auch nicht so stark gefallen.
denn für qualität muß man eben bezahlen. schrott bekommt man nachgeschmissen und ist billig.
ich bin bei hansen eingestiegen, denke daß da noch einiges geht.
vielleicht eine Übernahme von coke oder pepsi?
technisch ausgebombt wie du schon selbst sagst.
