Nettel Holdings Announces Today the Complete Deployment of Gateways (POPs) in 22 Major Cities and Provinces in Canada


At the Same Time, We Are Also Pleased to Announce the Launch of Phonezoo.ca and UnlimitedPhonecalls.ca for Canadian Customers


PORTLAND, OR -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/06/04 -- Nettel Holdings Inc. (OTC BB: NTTL), (Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges NT7, WKN 727487) announces today the complete deployment of gateways (POPs) in 22 major cities and provinces in Canada. At the same time, we are also pleased to announce the launch of Phonezoo.ca and UnlimitedPhonecalls.ca for Canadian customers.

So far, the results received from Phonezoo.net (U.S) and UnlimitedPhonecalls.net (U.S) both in revenue and customer retention has been very gratifying. Since the launch of both programs a month ago, we have signed up three times the number of subscribers we expected. We expect to receive the same level of positive response from Canadian customers.

Phonezoo.ca and UnlimitedPhonecalls.ca are products and services now available to residents and businesses local to the following cities and provinces in Canada.

-- Alberta: Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge
-- British Columbia: Kamloops, Prince Rupert, Vancouver, Victoria
-- Manitoba: Winnipeg
-- New Brunswick: Fredericton
-- Nova Scotia: Halifax

The complete deployment of all 22 gateways took seven months to complete. The purpose of the installation of the gateways (POPs) in Canada is threefold.

First: The launching of the Canadian version of Phonezoo.net and UnlimtedPhonecalls.net.

Second: The launching of regular local and international long distance calling plans. Canadians can save up to 90% on their International Long distance by having Nettel as their International Long distance provider. To use the service, customers simply pick up the phone and dial a local access number, then dial the international number that they want to call. We will begin to rollout our Canadian domestic residential and commercial calling plans by no later than the end of August 2004. Pricing and calling plans will be announced closer to the time of the initial rollout.

Third: The installations of these gateways (POPs) in Canada are part of Nettel Holdings overall strategy of capturing more of the large international long distance market. The next phase of this agenda will be the deployment of gateways (POPs) in a few carefully chosen cities in Europe and Asia later this year. As these new cities are added and completed, more information will be provided.

hi!


ich finde das alles klingt sehr positiv. ich bin zuversichtlicher denn je was Nettel angeht. es dauert bei denen halt alles ein bißchen länger.

allerdings mit dem satz da oben kann ich nicht so viel anfangen. er ist wieder mal in so schlechtem und grammatikalisch schlechtem englisch das ich eigentlich nicht wirklich entziffern kann was er meint. ich glaub nicht das das 2. Q. schon richtig gut gelaufen ist. naja, mal schauen. ich bin echt gespannt was abgeht wenn dieser merger endlich durch ist.
