Energy Producers, Inc. Receives Commitment for $110 Million U.S. Financing for EGPI/Firecreek Oil and Gas Projects

Line of Credit Marks the Largest Funding Commitment in EGPI`s History


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 2004-- Energy Producers, Inc. (OTCBB:EGPI - News) announced today that it has received a commitment for a financing that when completed will provide EGPI/Firecreek with up to $110 million dollars to fund working capital for two large projects overseas.
The financing more specifically, will be utilized to fund two key projects that either the company is working on or anticipates working on in the very near future in Eastern Europe and North Africa.

The $110 million dollars are to be allocated as follows:

$10 million will be made available upon EGPI/Firecreek and PETROM Romania establishing an Effective Date and supplying a validation for its already existing contract to rehabilitate its specific oil fields.

$100 million shall be transferred to EGPI/Firecreek in two phases consistent with the proposed Memorandum of Understanding and signed Baseline Production Sharing Agreement between EGPI/Firecreek and the Government of Libya.

Dennis Alexander, EGPI`s President stated, "This credit facility is a ground breaking event for our company and its shareholders. The 110 million dollars not only completes our obligations with our definitive agreement to acquire Firecreek Petroleum effective today, but also gives assurance and credibility that we will, in fact, be able to fund substantial projects that Firecreek has been working on which will ultimately produce significant revenues for our newly formed company EGPI/Firecreek."

As previously reported, EGPI/Firecreek is working on fulfilling a project with PETROM in Romania and feels that it is close to finalizing an agreement for the rehabilitation of oil fields in Libya.
