Wien (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die Experten von "Öko Invest" empfehlen die Aktie von Vestas Wind (ISIN DK0010268606 / WKN 913769) weiterhin zu halten.
Gemeinsam mit GE habe Vestas Wind 2008 mit der Rekordmarke von 4.648 MW installierter Leistung 56% des US-Marktes beherrscht.
Mit einem Rekordumsatz im 4. Quartal habe das Unternehmen seinen Jahresumsatz 2008 um rund 24% auf über 6 Mrd. Euro steigern können und habe damit die eigenen Erwartungen um rund 300 Mio. Euro übertroffen. Das EBIT sei um die Hälfte auf 668 Mio. Euro geklettert und der Reingewinn habe um rund 75% auf 511 Mio. Euro zulegen können.
Für 2009 erwarte Vestas Wind einen Umsatzanstieg von fast 20% auf eine neue Rekordmarke von 7,2 Mrd. Euro und eine Verbesserung der Gewinnmarge auf 11-13%.
Ende letzten Monats habe das dänische Unternehmen einen weiteren Großauftrag aus Rumänien erhalten. So habe EDP Renovaveis SA für zwei Windparks insgesamt 76 Anlagen von Vestas bestellt.

Jenseits der Zahlenflut sollten sich Anleger noch Vestas Wind Systems auf die Beobachtungsliste setzen. Der Windkraftanlagen-Spezialist teilte mit, im Rahmen einer Kapitalerhöhung 5,98 Milliarden dänische Kronen eingenommen zu haben. Den Plan dazu hatte das Unternehmen am Vortag angekündigt.

Credit Suisse hebt Ziel für Vestas auf 212 Kronen - 'Underperform'
(News/Aktienkurs) von 200,00 auf 212,00 dänische Kronen angehoben, die Einstufung aber auf "Underperform" belassen. Nach der angekündigten Ausgabe von 18,5 Millionen neuer Aktien zum Preis von je 323,00 Kronen hätten seine Sorgen um das Papier des Windkraftanlagenbauers etwas abgenommen, schrieb Analyst Mark Freshney in einer Studie vom Mittwoch. Mit diesem Schritt sichere sich Vestas Liquidität. Die finanziellen Probleme mit Endmarktkunden für Windanlagenprojekte würden dadurch aber nicht gelöst.

Das über den Erwartungen verlaufene erste Viertel des Geschäftsjahres könne nicht als Grundlage für die Entwicklung im Rest des Jahres herangezogen werden, schrieb Analyst Mark Fielding in einer Studie vom Mittwoch. Die Zahlen seien weniger ein Spiegel der momentanen Nachfrage als vielmehr Ergebnis des Abarbeitens des Auftragsbestandes. Der derzeitige Auftragsbestand decke noch nicht die Gesamtjahresprognose des Windkraftanlagenbauers ab.

Issue of up to 18,500,000 new shares in a private placement
Not for release, publication or distribution, directly or indirectly, in or into
the United States, Canada, Australia or Japan or in any jurisdiction in which
such transmission or distribution is unlawful. Any failure to comply with this
restriction may constitute a violation of US, Canadian, Australian or Japanese
securities laws or the securities laws of other states as the case may be.
The Board of Directors of Vestas Wind Systems A/S has today resolved to offer up
to 18,500,000 new shares of DKK 1.00 nominal value each through a private
placement at market price using an accelerated book-building process.
The new shares will be offered to institutional and professional investors in
Denmark and internationally without pre-emption rights to Vestas' existing
shareholders.
If all 18,500,000 shares are subscribed and issued, the nominal value of the
share capital increase will represent approximately 9.99 per cent of the
Company's current nominal share capital of DKK 185,204,103. Following completion
of the share capital increase and assuming maximum subscription, the nominal
share capital of Vestas will amount to DKK 203,704,103 divided into 203,704,103
shares of DKK 1.00 each.
The new shares will be subject to the same rules as the Company's existing
shares. The new shares will be issued in the name of the shareholder and be
recorded in the Company's share register. The new shares will be negotiable
instruments and will in every respect carry the same rights as the existing
shares. The new shares will carry the right to receive dividends for the
financial year 2009 and other rights in the Company as from the time of
registration of the capital increase with the Danish Commerce and Companies
Agency expected to take place latest on 4 May 2009.
Subscription price
The subscription price will be established through an accelerated book building
process. It is expected that the allocation, the subscription price and the
nominal value of new shares to be issued will be announced on or before 29 April
2009, but the offer may be closed earlier.
Proceeds and use of proceeds
The proceeds will be used to further strengthen Vestas' capital resources,
especially to position Vestas to quickly and efficiently exploit the
opportunities offered by the credit crisis in a technology based industry.
Admission for trading and official listing
The new shares will be issued under temporary ISIN code DK0060180339. No
application for trading and official listing has been filed for the temporary
ISIN code, and the temporary ISIN code will only be registered with VP
Securities A/S. The temporary ISIN code will in VP Securities A/S be merged
with

Summary: Vestas generated first-quarter revenue of EUR 1,105m, an increase of
58 per cent, achieving an EBIT improvement of 124 per cent to EUR 76m and
lifting the EBIT margin from 4.9 per cent to 6.9 per cent. Net working capital
stood at 8 per cent of expected annual revenue, against 2 per cent in Q1 2008.
The increase was significantly attributable to larger inventories. The order
backlog of firm and unconditional orders amounted to EUR 4.9bn at 31 March
2009. Full-year expectations for 2009 are still for an EBIT margin of 11-13 per
cent on revenue of EUR 7.2bn. At the end of the first quarter of 2009, Vestas'
total undrawn financial facilities amounted to EUR 850m. Vestas continues to
expand its operations in the USA and China owing to the positive market
prospects. Capacity will be reduced in Northern Europe, as demand in this area
at the moment does not meet expectations. Consequently, Vestas expects to lay
off approx 1,900 employees in the production units in Northern Europe,
primarily in Denmark and England. As a result of these measures, expected
investments in property, plant and equipment and intangible assets are reduced
by EUR 200m to EUR 1.0bn. The British Government's commitment of 21 April 2009
regarding massive investments in wind power and higher tariffs, will have a
positive influence on Vestas' possibilities of producing blades in Great
Britain.
